Former seat of the Ziyanid caliphate, the Mechouar Palace is located inside a large citadel in central Tlemcen. Built in the 12th century, it has recently been restored to its original splendor. It has a similar design to the palace of Al Hambra in Granada,Spain

The Mechouar Palace is one of the most important landmarks of Tlemcen that must be visited when tourism in Algeria, and is considered a witness to the history of the great city that has always been coveted by the colonialists. of the Zayanite kings. Al-Mashour Palace contains a variety of pavilions built to suit different seasons. The summer pavilion is built of marble to reduce the high temperature, while the winter pavilion is built of stone to keep the place warm.

It's an ancient monument built around 1200's, it's kept in a nice shape, most of the sections are closed off however, but the ones open to the public are a sight to behold, there's also a garden built within it's walls, beautiful overall, the one drawback is that you gotta pay a fee of 200 DZD for entry per person, and if you wanna visit the garden there's another separate fee

Great place to visit to see the architecture and the ideas how they built the palace. And to remember our ancestors how they were living and how they raised up Islam ☪️ flag higher by bearing witness that there is no god but Allah, And they bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of God, and they hold on that. Allah Almighty rewarded them in life, and we pray Allah to reward them on behalf of Islam an Muslims, and that Subhanhu wata3ala gather us in Paradise.
