I'll be rating this with 5 stars today, not because of the quality of the food - which was a 4+ anyway - but for the friendly manner in which it was served. There is something to say for a classic country kitchen with a modern approach. The decor and smell certainly added to the wonderful experience, but the taste was a superb variety of tastes. The pumpkin was just sweet enough, the pepper sauce on the roast just peppery enough, the mash just fluffy enough. The dining room was rather full on the Saturday we visited, and it was a slightly older crowd which speaks to the type of experience one can expect. This is certainly not a fast food joint! It is a bit far from my home town to just pop in for dinner, but if you are in the area it is well worth a visit.

Friendly staff, great food, beautiful place

The owners of this magnificent restaurant and Lodge are so kind. They take care of you and makes sure you have everything you need. The food at the restuarant is amazing and not too pricey at the same time. I would really recommend going there.

Talk about average food. Low quality taste and sad looking. We were a big table and not one person had anything good to say. Nice ambience and service though. So if you don't care about eating cardboard knock yourself out.

A real hidden gem in Potchefstroom. If you need to relax and just completely forget about the world and troubles of life, this place is where you'll meet peace. Delicious food. Great music. Absolutely beautiful environment. Going there, should be a bucket list entry if you are in Potch.

It has a country side look, very beautiful and quite. Good for get away! The is a pool and restaurants inside the guest house. Only problem is the WiFi which is limited to 250 mb not enough at all.
