Beautiful place to relax and host an event. The food was great, and the service was excellent. Views were amazing.

An extremely dissapointing experience at this place. The scenery is great and the place has a lot to offer but the management was just horrendous. We were treated with utter disrespect on arrival. There is a cash bar on site and when we asked if we could open a tab so that we didn't have to keep swiping every time we bought drinks they strictly refused. We were told that we had to make prior arrangements to get credit added to our room number, meanwhile this was never mentioned when we booked. We then asked if we could add credit right there and then and she just said no. No willingness to compromise at all. On our last day we saw other clients that had open tabs which obviously soured the experience even more. Besides that the food was very average and they basically just repeat their menu every day. The pool was dirty, understandable because of the rain, but no one made an effort to clean the leaves on the surface. The shaded area by the pool was flooded and when we asked the manager for umbrellas she was very condescending. It's a shame because this was my second time visiting stonehenge; the first time was great. But I certainly won't be going back there.

For such a so called exotic place, the receptionist was totally unhelpful. She couldn't help us with lunch. Apparently it was only for guests. She didn't have a clue when asked about rooms and accommodation. All she did was give us a calling card due some promotion company we had to contact for info. Surely they could have given her some updates. Poor service all around!

Beautiful venue. Was recently there for a wedding. Setup and surrounding very picturesque. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food well prepared and venue clean

What a beautiful place. The team build activities were fantastic. Facilities were great. Staff were exceptional. Compliments to the chef, great food. The venue is very spacious with lots of open ground. Great for a conference. The best part was the view. The river is magical. The rooms need some maintenance.

Excellent Stay. I was there with family from 30 Dec 2022 - 2 Jan 2023. We had a peaceful crossover. Keep it up!

Such a refreshing place to be, the food is scrumptious 😋 and views are so eye catching. Lovely place I must say. And there’s Vaal River flowing through the place.

We had lots of fun and loved the place but the food was not great. Too boring.

I went there with a group of my girls, it was a two days trip, but I only joined them a day later. The place is so beautiful, closer to the river. The view... I want to go there with my family next. The only problem was there was no hot water the next day. However you will see for yourself....

The place is beautiful, perfect for a quiet time out. Friendly and helpful staff. The downside about it is that there are no fridges in the rooms which is a huge inconvenience, no restaurant on-site and the place is on the outskirts of town so you have to drive all the way to town. They have an ironing service where you pay R5/10 per garment and the ironing staff reports at 8am, so it's an inconvenience if you need your staff ironed before 8am

Linda went out of her way to make the weekend much more special. Thank you to the staff and especially to Linda. You will see us soos again for sure!

This is such a beautiful place to visit. Delicious food, clean rooms and friendly staff. The grounds are so pretty and the sounds of the river will lul you to sleep. I was here for a conference so I dod not get a chance to try the pool although it did look very inviting. If I get a chance, I am coming back for another visit.

Love this place. Lovely gardens. River is so tranquil. Calm and relaxing stay over for the weekend.

Just wow! This lodge is stunning! The location is breathtaking with the river in the background. The rooms are clean and neat. The food is 5⭐️. The staff and Stephen were so friendly and helpful and went out of their way to help make our event a success in every way.

The resort was fabulous, lots of fun and tasty food. Very pleasant patient staff. Roads to get there from Durban potholed badly😢

Very unique. Really feel like our own little Stonehenge. We didn't stay over, but the price was reasonable. The settingin incredible. On the Vaal river. A must visit when you are on Parys.

It was an awesome and quiet weekend, great for couples on a weekend escape as its just an hour 20 from Joburg.

I was there for Christmas and we were 42 people who came there but they didn't put us in the main hall to celebrate Christmas because we were black so that means black and white separation still there...i hated my stay there

Absolutely loved the place. Neat rooms clean facilities, lovely view of the Vaal River. Staff were so friendly and our weekend away trip was perfect. Happiness all round.

The staff there👌🏽Friendly. One boring moment when a guy came to the pool area with his two big dogs while people were swimming and He put them inside the water to rinse or cool themselves ☹️. No one went into the pool after that scenario👎. He was not reprimanded at all 👀

What can we say except for awesome excellent and outstanding. From the start of organizing the weekend until departure. Very friendly and helpful staff. Cottage was clean and an outstanding view on the on the Vaal River. The cottage is in the far most layout of the lodge and so quite and peaceful with the sound calming you and feeling free in nature. Had a couples full body massage and foot spa with snacks and champagne. Keep up the excellent work. Thanks Linda Benade and Stonehenge team. A total must see and visit.

stayed here as part of a larger group for the weekend. Loved the space and the facilities, manicured lawns, large deck onto the Vaal River. Good breakfast (buffet) and really good dinner (also buffet for our group). In fact for a buffet the dinner both evenings was brilliant quality. Very helpful and happy staff. Room comfortable. Shower could have done with more pressure but it didnt take away from a great weekend. Well done guys.

Happy and patience staff...they take time to give you information and are passionate about the history of all that you need to know about Stonehenge. Had a great experience and finally got to see where Granite came from. Amazing. You have to visit to know more...activities are countless...take your family and friends. It's more fun when you're not alone.

All good. Very nice venue, but just stay away over weekends. There was massive party and it carried on until after 2AM. I think the management could at least put a time limit on parties to stop at midnight so that all their guests can have a good time

Everything was excellent, from the Staff (Ausi Lydia at reception), the food, the scenery, our units. The ladies and I just can't get over our stay at Stonehenge. Had already recommended the place to friends and family.

The rooms are very nice and clean, no food allowed on the venue though and no alcohol as well. The vaal River presents a nice sound of water, and a beautiful sight to behold

Beautiful scenery, good food. I just deducted a point because my bed lamp was stained, I didn't have a dustbin (just the lid) and the bed had a weird dent in it like someone has been sleeping on that side since forever. Staff are friendly and the conference venues were good. The sunsets are absolutely gorgeous!
