Best place we've ever slept in. The owners are a lovely old couple, they're both very nice and kind. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and they have their own bathrooms, there was also a small TV. Breakfast was very good, nothing fancy but very good, fresh baked bread, butter, honey, marmalade, etc, cheese and ham, orange juice and either tea or coffee. We will definitely be staying here the next time we visit the black forest.

Great affordable guesthouse with breakfast included. Good prices and situated in the Black Forest, this little place is run by an elder lady and one helper. Clean rooms and bathroom with shower and toilet. Breakfast was also very good.

Beautiful fairy tale place with a nice balcony view. The Breakfast was very good. The old elderly couple who runs this guest house are very friendly and they also provided a voucher with which we got 3-4 euros discounts in museum and waterfall. The shower gel used here has an unique flavor.

Beautiful well kept guesthouse. Room supremely comfortable, warm, well appointed, plenty of towels etc. Super shower. Ursula trying her absolute best to be extremely helpful even when we didn't speak more than a couple of words of each others' language. If like me you are arriving into Hornberg by train, the guesthouse is 3km away in the next town and only one taxi company will go there - ask Ursula for the details. My room unfortunately overlooked a large factory instead of the advertised riverside and valley views. Easy access to Panoramaweg paths. Breakfast lovely. Would stay again but be better prepared for the logistical and language practicalities!

We stayed 2 nights here, and everything was perfect! The rooms and bathrooms were impeccably clean! The couple and the woman who cleans the rooms and helps with breakfast were so kind and helpful. Beds and pillows were very comfortable! We enjoyed the clean, quiet, home-like atmosphere very much!

Very cosy little guest house which is run by an old couple who breathe service. Even though our room smelled a lot like cigarettes the stay was very relaxing. The breakfast is simple and typical for the region, which means cheese, meat and a bit of jam which latter was a big satisfaction for this vegan. The place is close to the some very nice woods if you would like to enjoy the peace of nature while staying here.

If ever you are in Hornberg, Black Forest Germany i definitely recommend this guesthouse. So homey and the location is like in a fairytale. The owners were lovely even with zero english. It was spotless clean and peaceful. If you wanna see what i mean, better book with them! They give freebies too!
