We saw the Live Radio Play of Its a Wonderful Life and I couldn't have loved it more. The workers in the theatre are so kind and helpful, they made the experience that much better. It's a beautiful old theatre!

This is a great place to see an opera, play or any other performance. The farthest seat us still pretty close to the stage making your experience an intamate one. I take away one star because the seats are old, uncomfortable and for me hard to get out of. Still I am getting season seats to the opera again next season. Great theatre.

Just went here tonight 12/14/22 for the first time. Went and saw Jim Brickman and Mat and Savanna Shaw. What an incredible, heartfelt and uplifting performance. The venue was stunning, elegant, classy, historic, and beautiful ect. Loved all the history and old look and feel to the place. If you ever get a chance go see a show or concert at The Valentine Theater, you won't regret it.

Great venue! Whoever decided to remodel this place made a positive decision for downtown Toledo. I will definitely be back.

The Valentine Theater is located in downtown Toledo, OH. Driving on I-75S, take exit 202A toward Washington Street/Downtown. From there the Valentine Theater is less than a mile away. Parking is plenty and just a short walk to the Theater. The Arena Parking lot is the closest to the Valentine Theater. If choosing the Arena Lot to park, arrive early to avoid parking congestion. (The Huntington Center is only a five-minute walk away making the Arena Lot a popular place to park.) The Valentine Theater is nearly 125 years old and a sight to see! The stately lobby has grande two grand staircases and displays historical pictures. The ornate theatre has raked seating, improving visibility for the audience. The orchestra level is almost entirely open giving the audience an unobstructed view of the awe-inspiring chandelier. Even with the wide open ceiling, The Valentine Theater creates an intimate atmosphere for the audience and the performers.

Gorgeous theater with lots of history and character. Seating isn't very comfortable and drink prices are expensive but great experience overall.

It is a beautiful venue, but more importantly, it is a great place to watch a show. The seats are comfortable, there is plenty of legroom, and although I am short, I could easily see the stage. None of that would matter if the technical aspects were bad, but they are wonderful. The sound was loud enough to easily hear, but not so loud as to hurt your ears. The lighting was appropriately dramatic with a great use of effects to add to the performance. Parking is convenient, and all of the workers I spoke to were very nice. We had a lovely evening, and I definitely recommend the facility.

Such a beautiful theatre, this was my first time seeing a show here and was easily distracted by the beauty of the building!

The Valentine Theatre offers an experience that is bar none. We have enjoyed theater trips in many major cities and our experience at the Valentine was truly remarkable. The venue is clean, offers intriguing architecture and a brilliantly unique historical mural as well as accommodations for all. The parking is well laid out and affordable. The doors were held open for us by staff upon our arrival and the check in process was smooth and we were treated with respect as we were led to our seats. The show quality was astounding, and during the intermission, the guides were kind enough to regale our daughters with the history of the mural, they arrived back at their seats beaming and full of exciting tidbits about how the mural was painted. If you are looking for a fun, family friendly, welcoming environment to enjoy the arts at-this is a place you will want to visit time and time again!
