Poor or no taste. Underwhelmed by the dinner. Merluze fish plate didn’t taste anything. The Tartar salmon with guacamole was better but overall don’t come to this restaurant and expect tasty food. 1 star for the nice outdoor terrace.

Absolutely excellent. Service and elegant local specialties. Best meal of our 2 month Europe trip yet. Stewed partridge, carmelized cod, gazpacho, salad, all were excellent.

Highly low value for money rate. Would love to explain. 1. As soon as you sit a waiter is serving you a small bun that no one asked for or even wanted, that costs 2€. A restaurant should never put something on a client's table without them asking plus charge money for it. 2. We ordered the artichoke dish. The plate came and it was JUST artichoke. No sauce, no garnish, not a slight excuse of effort, just oil soaked artichoke on a white plate, one item that's it, first time we encountered it in a restaurant. 3. The dishes on the menu are poorly described. There is no knowing what will come with the food you ordered. The cod fish was okay with the mashed potatoes but it was swimming in tomatoes sauce, if it was written in the menu we would've ask for the sauce on the side. Same goes for the lamb chops, the side dish wasn't described in the menu and we received an unnecessary mountain of potatoes side dish, which is a bad taste of a side dish for a "fancy restaurant". 4. When clients asks for the bill there is an unspoken understanding that they wish to leave soon. We asked for the the bill from three different waitresses, and after 40+ minutes of receiving no bill we had to stand up and go to the register telling him personally that we just wish to pay and leave. It left a bitter taste in our mouths, and it wasn't the artichoke. In conclusion, in our euro trip we visited many restaurants, this time was not nearly the most expensive one, yet we paid almost 70€ for 2 mains and a starter, for a poor service and a waste of time.

Ate dinner on the terrace. It is a huge space divided into smaller sections with plants so that it feels more intimate. Lots of staff, so quick service. Menu is pretty standard toledo cuisine. Generous portions, so easy to share.

Unfortunately bad experience. Had higher expectation from this place. Beef fillet was raw and we asked for medium Deer was bitter and swimming in an oily watery kind of sauce. Both plates had the same tasteless garnish. Croquetas were also mediocre. Stuff didnt even ask why we did not eat at all and they were happily asking if we want a dessert We left unsatisfied, hungry and unhappy cause we paid 80 euros.

tl;dr: it’s a big and beautiful place; some of the food was just ok We came to have lunch here because our first option couldn’t accommodate us (book restaurants in advance in Toledo if you really want to choose). Luckily, they had seats for five last minute. Props! They offer little appetizers on the house. For meat eaters it was codfish cream with pepper sauce (good!) and for vegetarians it was cheese (also good). I also ordered some croquetas de jamón iberico. The portion was bigger than I expected, so beware. Culturally, food is meant to be shared here so maybe that’s the idea. For my main dish I got a traditional stuffed partridge with onions. The onions and broth were good, the meat was slightly on the unseasoned side for my taste and since it’s a whole bird it can take some effort to eat. Still had some room for dessert and I ended up getting cheesecake. Good choice, as it was fluffy and tasty. Satisfying experience overall.

This restaurant is not only the oldest restaurant in town but also one of the best. It has indoor & outdoor tables and also bar. The indoor dining area looks elegant. The service is great, The staffs are friendly. The food is so yummy. Their sea food paella valenciana is the best.

Beautiful decor but fell short on everything else. Wrong starters were served and didn’t taste good. Main course was correct but dreadful. Would definitely not recommend and will not return. There is nobody in the restaurant that speaks English.Very disappointed!

If you believe that you can not cook the bird for 13 hours and yet make it dry and hard to chew try it here. Steak was cooked with no attention whatsoever. Salad mix straight from supermarket shelf with sauces served separately in plastic containers. Truly horrific experience. With EUR 120 price tag it is a classic tourist’s trap!

You will not regret it, I liked the food and the salad is excellent. I was not satisfied with the cleanliness of the tools and these things, and this is generally the case for all European restaurants.

This restaurant did not impress me with anything special. I've been to better as well as worse. Engaged and helpful service. A huge problem with communication in English.

Incredible place with outstanding indoor terrace, its like eating in a beautiful garden. Service was excellent as well, very attentive and kind staff. The "problem" comes with the famous "value for price". Its totally out of range... even just evaluating the food not considering its price was average... In case they open all day long better coming here for grabbing a good gin tonic in the noon and enjoy its beautiful terrace.

Everything about our meal was excellent. First of all the staff were very helpful and attentive. Secondly the food was very well cooked and absolutely full of flavour. I had lamb, which was extremely succulent. For dessert we shared apple pie, which was delicious. We drank the standard red and this was also very good. The restaurant has a lovely air of refinement that helped to enhance the experience. When next in the area will definitely be paying another visit.

We did not enjoy this restaurant at all. The food was not very good but the prices were very high. The service was not good at all! After asking for the check we had to wait more then half an hour and ask 3 different waiters until we just got out and went to counter so we could finally leave. The atmosphere is nice but it’s definitely not worth the price.

The service is 5*, the food could have been so much better. Smoked sardines were good, however the Octopus was extremely chewy and so was the grilled Tbone steak I had. The fish was a bit undercooked (pink). The lambchops were ok.

We had our late lunch here, served us with a local bread dipped with olive oil, followed by the starter half bird egg, main course is the Iberia ribs, very delicious and nice ribs, texture was just nice. Portion size was considered big size for me, average 5-6 ribs for each portion. The dessert was quite sweet for me, if the sugar level can reduce a bit then will be perfect.

Service was exceptionally bad. We were hesitantly greeted at the door. After being seated for 30min and flagging down several waiters to order, they finally took our orders. Due to a language barrier they got our orders wrong, and we ended up paying for a set meal double the price of what we originally wanted! Some of our other orders were also wrong. The salmorejo soup was tepid and extremely salty. Aside from the poor service and mediocre food, the decor is beautiful.

Exquisite cuisine. The waiters were very attentive, ready to help. They ask for the price but the food just melts in your mouth. The vine selection is also remarkable. We had an amazing time with friends, and we hope to return some day.

The place is beautiful and very well decorated. We went to Venta de Aires twice. The first time was a week day. As soon as we arrived they brought us beer and some delicious tapas, but after that we were kind of forgotten for arround one hour and even the table next to us made a huge complain about the lack of service. We could see they were short of staff and wanted to stay for longer but we just gave up being served. The second time we were there, it was a weekend night and it was packed. We had the tomato salad and lamb ribs, all very tasty. The waitress was very nice, it was my birthday and they sang Happy birthday to me. Very friendly! I would go back cause the food and place are great. But I wouldnt expect quick service
