もともとは本家出雲大社の分社だったのが数十年前に独立して、唯一無二の社として続いているようです。
外観はスケールこそやや小さめですが、まさに本家と同じ出雲大社そのもので、大しめ縄は近くで見ると圧巻です。しめ縄の端に硬貨がたくさん刺さってますが、よくあんな高いところに刺せましたね。
敷地内には他に神社が二つ、本殿、社務所などありますが、丘の上にこじんまりとまとまっている感じです。
本殿は遠くてなかなかいけませんが、近くにこうした立派なところがあるのはありがたいですね(*^_^*)
