My
first
time
here,
I
was
not
enamored,
yet
I
persevered
and
fell
in
love
with
the
place.
Thumann's
cold
cuts,
wonderful
rolls,
a
nice
balance
of
veggies
all
add
up
to
the
best
sub
I've
found
around
here
in
16+
years.
They
also
have
a
great
pickle
barrel
and
used
books.
Breakfast
sandwiches
from
Driftwood
have
been
a
staple
in
my
life
of
late.
Pork
roll
with
2
eggs
and
cheese
on
a
Kaiser
roll
is
reasonably
priced
at
$5
a
pop,
but
they're
a
little
sloppy
to
eat
because
they
put
one
egg
on
the
bottom,
and
one
on
top,
so
everything
between
the
bread
slides
out
when
you
bite
into
it.
When
it
comes
to
the
subs,
part
of
me
thinks
they're
a
shade
pricey,
but
once
I
start
eating,
that
takes
a
backseat
to
deliciousness.
They
also
have
very
odd
hours.
They're
not
odd
for
these
kinds
of
sandwich
shops,
but
I
really
don't
understand
why
some
delis
race
to
close
before
anyone
even
gets
home
from
work.
They're
open
9
-
4:15
Monday
through
Friday,
so
if
you
have
a
normal
job,
good
luck
ever
being
able
to
taste
any
of
their
food
on
a
weekday.
In
my
experience,
lots
of
people
enjoy
subs
for
dinner,
and
it
seems
like
they're
missing
out
on
an
opportunity
to
increase
business.
But
if
they
don't
need
the
money,
God
bless
'em,
because
they
work
a
dream
schedule.
Perhaps
playing
hard
to
get
is
part
of
the
allure.
