We made reservations for Saturday night. First time there. The room was large and had nice space between tables. Service was excellent. Food fantastic. We had Red curry chicken and salmon/tuna and Alaska rolls. Everything was delicious - fresh and the presentation was over the top. Not too loud from hibachi room and BYOB is a plus. If you love sushi and/or habachi this place is definitely worth a visit. Great atmosphere, very accommodating for large or small groups and everything is fresh. Without a reservation, be prepared to wait. This place is popular.

The food is amazing. But the sushi is out of this world. I've eaten at alot of sushi restaurant but this one takes the cake. We stopped by for lunch and ordered a few different sushi rolls. And when I tell you the salmon melted in your mouth. It was the tastes sushi I've ever had. You must try this place.

Beautifully decorated restaurant with a staff that is amazing. Friendly, kind and impeccable service. We never felt rushed and the food was amazing. Flavorful works of art that taste better than they look! A return visit is definitely in our future!

Amazing experience! My GF and I had Tony as the chef and he was amazing. Made her a rose with petals made out of balloons! Very entertaining. We had chicken and shrimp combination and chicken and steak combination hibachi style. Noodles come with each order, Fried rice was amazing

First Hibachi spot I've been to with my family that took the time and effort knowing we had a toddler with us. The share of food for each plate was more than enough, taste was great, and most importantly - Tony, who was our chef - catered to our toddler. He made balloon animals and cut her veggies and meat up to small bite size portions for her. That alone made the experience great. However, I'm adding a ton of pics from our experience as well! Truly the BEST hibachi I have ever been too. The chefs are wonderful! The service is top notch , restaurant is beautiful and food is PHENOMENAL. The portions are huge!! You’ll definitely be leaving with left overs. Reasonably priced considering how much food you get. The servers are so sweet and never rush you like many hibachi restaurants I have been too. Highly recommend! I can assure you will not be disappointed!

Nice staff and a good food experience. This was our first time, we came here for our daughters birthday. For $80 we were able to have 2 sushi rolls, dinner and dessert. They brought out a small box and sang 🥳 happy birthday. Saki for the adults, same experience with water for the kids! They also have a nice setup on the side (see pics)

What a great place! Food was delicious service fantastic. Plenty of room, your not sitting on top of each other. My wife had a Flounder dish I had a sushi sashimi combo with a tuna roll. I was here three years ago and loved it and today was even better. Note: after we sat they realized they needed our spot for a reservation and asked us yo move. We gladly accommodated the request. After we moved a very sweet greeter brought us a $10.00 voucher. This gesture was greatly appreciated. I would definitely recommend this establishment.

Went here for my and my son's birthday, the place was amazing!!! My 1st time here, the atmosphere and decor blew me away, beautiful life-sized statues of their Japanese culture, casual, frendly, fun servers and chefs. We sat at the hibachi table, and the chef sang happy birthday to us as he lit up the griddle into flames, very fun man made the experience that much better. Lastly the food, their was only 1 word, amazing!! I have been to a good amount of Japanese restaurants before and they are all usually great but this one is definitely my number 1. The way this man cooked everything was so flavorful, tender, dead on perfect, I can never finish my meal but this was so good I just kept eating, I was so stuffed, believe me there was no room for jello if you know what I mean. Definitely a must try, thank me later!!!

My favorite place to get sushi. Always fresh and delicious. Staff are great. Always feel welcome there.

I wish I had a way to express how well I was treated. I had gone to this place by a recommendation from a teacher and had a great time for my birthday with my family and friends. After driving home and settling in I had realized that I left the envelope with my birthday card in the restaurant. Not only did the employees ask around to see where it was, they helped me dig through the garbage to find it. The kindness that these people have can only be rivaled by the amazing food and atmosphere, they treated me with kindness I give to the most important people in my life and I had just walked into the restaurant for the first time that day. If your conflicted on wether to come here or somewhere else please come here to make me feel like I’m paying them back for how they helped me.

I think they have some of the best sushi in the area. I try and order take out from them once a week.

Food always looks appetizing, is fresh, great tasting and plenty of it.

The Peking Duck I ordered came with feathers on it and after I adresses this with the staff I was told that when you order it from a Chinese takeout place it has feathers on it. I explained that while this might be true it is not proper preparation and I wouldn’t expect it from a nice restaurant such as Koi- I expect better. The staff kept assuring me that this is the way it is prepared when they eat it elsewhere but they didn’t offer any solutions. I just said that I would like my feedback to be taken into consideration and passed on to the chef. I recommend hibachi and their sushi but not sure about anything else.

Everything was on point: the food, the service, the atmosphere. They had a great, printed booklet with pictures to help visualize the dishes. I grew up in Chinatown, NY and they had a bunch of dishes that were very familiar such as walnut shrimp and Chinese eggplant in garlic sauce. It's not easy to find these dishes in NJ, so it was appreciated. My family and I tried the Hawaiian poke bowls which were fresh, sweet, and crunchy. I had the orange beef which was slightly sweet, lightly battered, and a juicy. The service was attentive, but not invasive.

Went to Seaside for a few days and wanted hibachi for dinner . This place by far is the best hibachi we ever had . The sushi was amazing , the cooked made the steaks to perfection . Large portions great service , love the atmosphere they had large Chinese statues on display .

This was our first time here and we loved it. The food was absolutely delicious and so fresh. Our friend who works in the seafood industry gave a thumbs up about freshness of the sushi and sashimi . The place was very cleaned and spacious and the service was unbelievable courteous and fast, we had our meals in no time. Definitely recommend to everyone . Oh before I forget, we though the prices of the meals were very good as well. Try it out, it won’t disappoint!!!

Great Hibachi chef! Most of the staff were very friendly and hospitable. Took a star off for our server. She may have been having a bad night and let it trickle over to our table. Would definitely be going back. Food was great.

Don’t understand the great reviews. Moved here from PA and took a chance on this place. I’ve never had bad sushi in my life, until this place. Everything was horribly salty. The seaweed salad alone was almost inedible due to how salty it was. Sweet potato and spicy tuna rolls were fine. But even the speciality rolls weren’t something amazing. Our server also seemed pretty miserable. I’m sure the Hibachi is fine but if you’re a sushi fanatic like me you’ll be highly disappointed.

We eat at hibachi restaurants frequently but recently moved. We have a new favorite! Excellent food, great service and responsible prices. I was especially impressed that noodles are included as well as rice. Each protein is seasoned differently. Everything tastes different; unlike so many hibachi restaurants. We will be back ❤️

Everything was excellent. I love the decor of the restaurant, and the mini museum is just awesome. Could def spend a lot of time there eating. I think it is the same owners as the one in Brick twn if I'm not miataken.

Koi Hibachi was a great place for us to celebrate our 14 year old grandson's Birthday. They accommodated the 10 of us nicely and the food was enjoyable. Would definitely recommend a day with the family

“Beautiful place with quality food” FOOD is great. Chicken lettuce wraps are excellent, they have good flavor and good fresh quality. Fried rice was pretty good. The pineapple fried rice was not that good I’m my opinion it was loaded with turmeric but if you like turmeric a lot than this is a perfect dish for you. MENU is great and has lots of options. Asian fusion. Good with modifications. SERVICE is fantastic, they are great friendly people who have been in the business and been local for a very long time. They have good chefs with good recipes. The restaurant is beautiful great place to go with people. Plenty of regular seating for non hibachi. Very big if your looking for seating area that’s spaced out. Outdoor seating available.

Second time having food from here and its absolutely amazing ! Not salty like the other places. My first time was dine in with my kids 2 months ago and they loved it especially the balloons!.I had take out lunch today and it was hot and tasted amazing! Definitely come here !
