I recently stayed at the pelicann inn & suites. What was supposed to be a simple and easy stay, was anything but that. My husband was shown a room that was not given to us when we decided to stay. We left early due to the rudeness from the owner. My husband left a honest and true review that the owner did not like, so he decided that was enough within itself to keep my security deposit. We took before and after pictures of our room as proof that we left no damages and that the room was still exactly how he gave it to us. This place is shady, the owner is shady we asked him before we left if the room was good and if we would be getting our deposit, to which he replied that we would have to take our review down. We called him today an recorded the conversation to which again he stated he would not be giving the security back because of the review which is completely against the law. I will be getting my deposit back either through my bank or civil court with our evidence. I highly advise to do your research before a stay. Its truly not worth the aggravation. I can't believe how unprofessional this place really is.

I wouldn’t recommend staying here at all. The staff are completely rude. The rooms are dirty and there is bugs. When I’ve complained to the front desk him and his wife were extremely rude to me and just said they were calling there boss instead of handling the situation. Way better hotels to spend your night at if your near seaside. My 6 month old daughter was getting bit up by ants. There everywhere.

There's nothing suite about this place, the towels were terrible, the wifi didn't work, the pads on the bed were called pillows, the remote didn't work, the paint was peeling off the ceiling, no coffee pot, and the manager and sign said new rooms! All for $150 for the one night I stayed. Unfortunately the fog was so thick that I wasn't seeing clearly, and booked a room. $20/night would be about right. Actually a tent would be cleaner. Stay away from this place

Owner Victor is extremely rude. Never a smile or hello in two months. Would only accept cash. Even refused a money order. Gauged me because I had a dog. After two weeks he could have redone the entire room. I'm still waiting for my bedspread to be returned clean. The previous 5/5 are all on welfare so they have no financial dog in the show. Probably never going to see my $200 deposit. Stay away

I was given this motel info by my tenant who had to move out for perhaps a week due to a water leak. I spoke to Victor, who was very sympathetic and kind. He allowed me to make arrangements for my tenants and gave me a great weekly rate. I was in Florida at the time, so it was more than helpful to have someone on the other end of the phone working with me on this. It was a tough time for both our tenants and us & I feel like it was handled very well by the motel & Victor. I would recommend this place to anyone, clean & great staff.

The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We were happy to find a newly renovated bathroom in the tidy room. Renovations are obviously still underway, so better fitting curtains would be a good improvement. We enjoyed two nights at a reasonable price at the Jersey shore.

Stay here in the room was infested with ants! And I'm not talking about one or two Ants I'm talking about hundreds told the workers and they came in and checked the room and told me "It must be because of the humidity buy some ant spray and spray around the windows" all the food that I had had to be thrown away. Also they did not once during any point bring any type of towels toilet paper anything whatsoever. Had to buy my own ( which I am okay with but still) Says free Wi-Fi but they turn off the Wi-Fi at their convenience they also spend the majority of the day watching every little thing that you do and if they don't like something they come and knock on your door whatever time just to tell you about whatever it is they had a problem with. Would not recommend this place to anybody. Also you would think that because I came in with kids they would have given me the room that had a stove but no people who came in alone got the rooms with the stones and the people that came in with children or bigger families were in rooms that just had microwaves which I thought was crazy.

We stayed here for a weekend with our little dog and were pleasantly surprised by how nice it turned out to be with very affordable rates. Everything has been renovated and our microwave even still had the twisty tie on the chord! We didn't find a single bug in this place and the staff was very accommodating to my mother's needs. Would definitely go back and recommend to anyone looking for a place to spend a night or two at a good price. And in case you're wondering we got our security deposit back without any issue.

Very nice front desk. Checked in at 10pm last night after a spontaneous trip to seaside. Gave us a discount cause the air didnt work but the area is so breezy a fan worked fine. May not look like much but enjoyed our night there. If we are in the area again we will be return guest.

Very quiet and peaceful environment. You get a nice warm ocean breeze close to ocean so it’s cooler at this location. The rooms are large with TV, microwave, refrigerator, area table for a meal and closet to store clothes! Great price! They’re not out to scam you! Hotel management are professional, kind and accommodating. I’ve been to other places that made me want to sleep with one eye open and left. I felt very safe in this location that’s literally right next to the seaside heights bridge. People in neighboring rooms were considered. No crazy parties, no drugs etc This lodge is perfect for beach goer’s, those visiting who want to enjoy their stay at the shore and return to a place they can kick back, relax and get a good nights sleep to do it all over again!
