Full disclosure, I have been going to Chili's for many years, but today was my first visit to the Chili's in Toms River NJ. Service was unparalled and team effort was evident. I had the chips & salsa and the Santa Fe Salad. When you do go to Chili's I suggest you get the Presidente Margarita as I did. It did not disappoint. Note#1: I was dining in the bar area and have to say music volume was a bit high to my liking, and I like loud music. Note #2: this is a direct criticism of corporate. You have a signature drink. The Presidente Margarita. Why does it get poured out of a dribble glass that spills each time it is poured??? Pro Move: order the chips & salsa. It is bottomless. Make sure to ask for a refill before you head for the exit, and get a take home snack for the folks at home. Overall: I never see cars at this place - which is puzzling. This is a well run establishment with great food and timely service. The facility is immaculate. I highly suggest you give them a try. I for one, will be back.

Just a step above fast food, but it was dinner time and near where I had to be that evening. For a chain that boasts about their burgers, this was just super greasey "meh". One half of the burger was medium. The other half was a bit past well done. The bacon had no taste, dry and super brittle. The chili was very salty. This is the same chili at Longhorn and I have never had a problem with it there. However, what was outstanding was my server. I apologize for not being able to recall his name, but he was attentive, spoke clearly and had a great attitude. I have yet to find a high-end dining establishment in the immediate area in and around Toms River, but my waiter belongs in that kind of restaurant. That was totally unexpected and will cause me to return to try something less mundane. I just hope I have the same server!

Why is it that 9 times out of 10 when we go to this restaurant there is some sort of problem. Tonight it was the wait for our food. Our appetizer, texas cheese fries 1/2 order came out quickly. Wasn't that good. But our entrees took forever. Another couple sat behind us after we got the appetizer and they received their appetizer and entrees before our entrees came out. I don't think it was the waitresses fault, I hope not. But again another problem when eating at this restaurant. I don't think we'll be back. Sorry.

I haven't been here in over 10+ years ever since they changed the menu, but now everything looks good and everything is all new and renovated and the food is amazing! The sizzling fajitas are so sizzling good! Amazing! And the staff is always making sure that everything came out good and correctly.

Meal was above average, I miss the old chillis... Atmosphere felt weird like there wasn't privacy to talk but it didn't matter??? It had the occasional dining lighting were you can't see much so you can't spot a mess if you see it. Most of the rating was from past good experiences... just not this one time.

Let's be honest chain restaurants have taken an absolute nose-dive post covid, so i was pleasantly surprised with the service at this location. I believe the manager on staff was serving our party of 7, and he was quick, attentive, polite, i mean everything you could want or expect. I really hope corporate reads these reviews because people deserve recognition for their effort in retaining customers with great service. The food was also well made and with good presentation.

Very bad experience. First, my order came out wrong so I had to wait for them to make the correct dish. It took 20 minutes and by the time it came out everyone I was with was finished eating. Second, my sister ordered her steak medium rare and it was the rarest steak I had ever seen, it was not cooked right at all. To continue this bad experience when we got the bill it was completely wrong. It had 4 steaks on it (when we only ordered 2). It also had an extra chicken dish that wasn’t ordered either. Personally I feel that if the server was friendly and apologetic about this entire experience it would have made up for all the mistakes, but since that was not the case, it put a bad taste in our mouth…literally. Chillies was always my favorite but I don’t want to go back after this.

Everytime I come here with my brother, we REQUEST Allison. She works at the bar, but serves as well. This girl is phenomenal. Knows her stuff, amazing personality. She's going places. Ask for her when you come you won't regret it. VERY knowledgeable with different drinks, she's your girl.

Somewhat ashamed to say I am a regular at Chilis, but I am certainly a regular. Allie at the bar is the absolute best! Friendly, conversational, and a great bartender. Love coming in each month to try the Margarita of the Month!

The food and service are usually great. However, on the last trip, food wasn't handled with care - it was tossed around in the container. We did curbside pickup and waited about 7 minutes, but no one came outside and the app stated our food was picked up already. I went inside, our food was just sitting there, no one was there to assist. The bar lady saw me didn't offer to call her Co workers, i waited another 5 minutes finally saw 1 girl and i wave her over only to be dismissed for a few minutes while more of th workers in the back emerged. I'll give them another chance but if it happens again I'll 86 em.

Got a ranch bacon chicken quesadilla delivered by door dash. It was cardboard like with dried cheese no bacon shredded dried out chicken. The guacamole was brown and cost extra. The order was deliver by Door dash and the delivery person had the order in the back seat of the car with a dog. Really. Awful. My grandaughter sent to me as a gift. She should have her money refunded.

The absolute worst experience of my life. No over exaggeration, when I thought service could stoop lower it did. It was a Saturday night with one single Bartender not just to the bar but entire restaurant. I've never had a more terrible experience. I will never ever go to Chillis in Toms river on Hooper Ave again.

Definitely one of the better chains in existence at these prices. Starting off had the curly fries & white queso for $5 which is aight. The house made ranch that comes with it, Is yummy. I did the 3 for me $10.98 deal which was a great bargain plus since I decided to spike it up I paid an additional $2.50 to have a classic frozen margarita, Well worth it. So for the 3 for $10.98+$2.50 deal I got the margarita, a loaded potato soup which was flavourful, and my entree was the crispy chicken sandwich and it was scrumptious the chicken was juicy. Overall was an affordable lunch. The chicken crispers, Texas fries are tasty.

I don't like a lot of these chain places anymore no offense to Chili's.. but the experience was very good waiter was great.. we couldn't decide what to eat so we had hamburgers and nachos and we were very satisfied with service.. this was a great experience after having a not so good experience with another place a few weeks ago .

It was a typical chilis. It was a very good one. Ryan our server was excellent. He checked on us and asked if we needed refills on drinks without asking and was friendly. Our food was very good and place was very clean.

We came in on Veteran’s Day (shoutout to all the Veterans) and it was pretty busy. We had a really large party and had a bit of a wait (to be expected for a Saturday night). The team was super apologetic for the wait time. We were sat with Alyssa and let me just tell you she handled her section like a true professional. While she was taking our order I noticed she looked back and welcomed a table who had just been sat. That attention to detail speaks volumes. I’d like to thanks Laylana for bringing out our food and being a super sweetheart. Travis, the manager is also great. I saw him bussing tables and truly supporting his team. All in all a good experience and I can tell this store is ran properly. Thank you.

I am a regular customer of chilli's and often choose this rasturant on weekend to eat dinner But after this time I ordered food and it was not enough on the whole meal there were only four shrimps I bought 2 for 25 and added shrimps for 6 dollars , food was cold , rice were not well cooked and baby shrimps are four in numbers Food was that short,i ended up ordering a new meal from some other place I dont know what happened to the chlli's rasturant but after this I will rethink on that if I need to spoil my evening or not Very disappointed from the service 😒

Good place with a lot of great food. Hard to eat healthy as everything is a large amount of calories so make sure you visit here on your cheat day!

Our server Gianna was amazing she had an amazing personality and when we joked with her she knew how to respond and make us laugh! The soup appetizers were a little cold but she was right on it and got us new ones right away! Overall great service and good food!!

Visited with 3 of our grandkids. Food good, service was also fine. Ordered soup and dry rub ribs. Tasted fine; just not hot: barely warm. Kids had chicken which was fine. Ieven asked waiter to make sure it was very hot- due to previous experience. Oh well, seems overall restaurants are slipping up on the details...

I came on Mother’s Day I expected it to be crowded and understaffed. My husband and I waited patiently for an hour and a half with no food in sight. We had the manager come over and figure out what happened and our food got lost in the system. My husband was very angry but both the manager and waitress both handled the situation professionally and apologized respectfully. We are sad we had to wait so long for the food but grateful the manager was a great guy!

First time there. Service was awesome. Food was good. I had a burger that was cooked perfect and my date had fajitas that were good as well. Def will go back.

Went for dinner with my kids got the fajitas (trio) was absolutely terrible. The steak was like rubber, the shrimp was so burnt I couldn't even eat it. And the chicken had so much pepper on it, I was unable to eat. I said something to the waiter and he informed the kitchen I very busy. Won't be back to the Chili's

This place has got it going on, fantastic service. Food smelled great, was picking up Door Dash orders for customers. We did curbside only. But we went back and got some food. It was very good and really fresh

Chili’s is a great family style restaurant. It has a wide variety on the menu catering for young children, vegetarians all the way to large adult and meat dishes. Great value for money, excellent dining in experience and quick and friendly service.

We dined at the bar. The person working at the bar did her best, but they really need 2 people staffing it. The food was good and the person working, while stressed, was still pleasant.

Their Chilis To Go staff were amazing. Got there early and checked in-not expecting it to be ready yet, and it was out almost instantly. Nice staff and super quick service

Ordered online, drove 20 mins to pick up for family….. didn’t have my meal in the bag when I got home. 24$ ribs. Ok np, I’ll order from around here, by me for myself l. I want a refund for the ribs, so I call. 5 call, 5 min wait each time, and no one picks up. You have to keep hitting #1 to stay on the line then after 5 mins tech issues sorry. Meaning they let phone rings and ignored it over and over again. I just wanted my refund for what I didn’t get and they had to make that a pain too. Updated to 3 stars, bc corp gave me a refund for the ribs. My family enjoyed what they got to eat.

I have never felt so unwelcome somewhere. Our waitress was very inattentive and took a fair bit of reminding to bring drinks and chips. Food took over 2 hours to be prepared for a table of 5. There was only one other group in the restaurant.

My family's favorite place to eat out. The food is always delicious, the staff is very friendly and the place is always clean. We love their unlimited chips and salsa and order it everytime we visit.

Manager Ron is absolutely AMAZING!! He was so beyond accommodating, kind & overall created an outstanding experience for me. I had a doordash order but tbh it was super extra lol I needed things modified & he just went beyond my expectations to help me. He’s the GOAT!!! Ron needs a pay raise and promotion asap. Probably the worst food we’ve had in a long time. This has not been our usual experience. We’ve enjoyed the food from this Chili’s in the past. Where to begin. The Chipotle Chicken fresh Mex bowl had about 1 tablespoon of garden greens in it. The Ranchero chicken-tacos; the flour tortilla fell into bits when I picked it up to eat and the chicken was so hard & overcooked it was inedible. On a good note, the rice & beans were excellent. The Chili bowl was hardly a bowl and it was half filled. It was so small & no chips etc. I’m so sorry I had to report on my experience like this. It was the first time it ever happened to us. Usually our food order has been above satisfactory. Everyone has a bad nite. We hit it just right! 🥴

I don’t eat out often, but when I do I’m quite picky. I really have not one bad thing to say about chili’s! We got curbside do to the covid-19, which I was skeptical about but we tried it. We got fajitas mix n Match and the Southwestern egg rolls. Was phenomenal , I won’t lie. The only thing I did not like was the salsa honestly..and that’s just opinion! Was a little too hot for me.

As of 7/26/20 the soup was TERRIBLY overcooked and there was almost zero sauce on the penne. Not ok. All other chili’s are generous with sauce.

Not a big fan of chain restaurants as a whole but my daughter and her Mom are both legit celiac and go often with no issues. With that said the food and drink choices are well thought out and flawlessly executed. Staff is very nice and attentive as well. The 3 or 4 times a year that I dine here I always leave satisfied all the way around. For the four of us with two cocktails was just under $70 and that makes it even better.
