Had to try this place after everyone was raving about their burgers. The place e is clean and welcoming. There are TV’s to watch while you wait, sit and eat which is a nice distraction. The burgers were ok. The buns and toppings were more exciting to me than the actual beef patty. The meat was bland and didn’t taste seasoned at all. It had an old griddle taste which was off putting. The buns however were delicious. Soft and fresh and just perfect for a burger. The onion rings were blah but the fries were some of the best I have had. They were soft and crispy at the same time. Overall I wasn’t blown away and think that maybe it was just an off first time and will try it again to see if it changes. I will also get a shake next time to see if it makes it all better. Staff was friendly so I would come back again.

Just picked up lunch to go from Burger 25. OMG.... IMO the best burger I've had in forever! Usually when I get burgers to go, they don't make it home. They're always sloppy looking, the burger slides off the bun, the lettuce is soggy, etc. Not this burger, everything stayed in place and it was amazing! Cooked perfectly, and I had special instructions which were followed exactly! I also got the Old Bay fries with garlic sauce, even cold these fries were delicious (FYI they were cold because I chose to take my food home. Burger 25 did NOT serve them this way). I also treated myself to a super shake, Salted Caramel Brownie. WOW!!!! I didn't stay, however the dining area looks really nice. Staff was busy with the lunch rush when I got there, but they were very nice. I'm from Northern NJ, in the area house sitting for a few days. I will gladly drive the hour and a half it takes to get here for a burger and fries... and a shake!!!

Scouting the Best Burgers for Food Network App, Burger 25 was a very good experience. Now I do have to raise the Bar higher since they claim to have the #1 Burger in the State. With that said, they have a very good burger. Ordered a Pepperjack Burger, but they forgot the Cheese. I was way too hungry to worry about and simply pointed it out. The Burger was good, bun was good. Not as juicy as I would expect, but think it was a bit overcooked. Fries were great, didn't have a Shake, just couldn't eat of drink anymore. This is a Family Owned and Run business, so I will go back everytime I pass through Toms River to support sma business. Their Brandong and store presentation was fantastic. Staff was great and place was really clean. 5 Stars for me all around..Will have to wait for the Burger Tournament to give out the Rankings, but this place is a must stop for Burgers. There needs to be more of these. This has been on my list for a while and I was very impressed with the quality of the food, variety of the menu , atmosphere and service. All of it is five star. The burgers are delicious and juicy with plenty to choose from. The chicken sandwiches are crispy and juicy and the fries are crispy and fresh. They come up with some crazy milkshakes for the month too which is pretty awesome. Plenty of seating and modern feel. I wish I had one closer to me but I’ll be back to try many more items.

You're looking at The Best Fried Chicken Sandwich EVER !!! The only alteration to the Original is the onion roll and pickles. To jazz it up I drizzled a little of their oriental salad dressing on it.

At first I thought," What's the hype all about? A burger is a burger." But I was wrong. I enjoyed every bite of it. We both got the cheeseburger with grilled onions, boardwalk fries (with horseradish aioli) and onion rings. The ratio of patty to bread is spot on. I like the finely shredded lettuce and the tangy crispy pickle. The cheese just melted and married with the rest of the flavors. The star of the burger is the patty. It was thick, well seasoned, charred and moist (my favorite word). It's BYOB, so next time, I will bring a 6-pack.

Wow! The burgers here are delicious!! Highly recommend the Buffalo Chicken—loved the sauces and crispy chicken. The Mexican Chop Salad was fresh, crunchy and flavorful. We also got the fried pickle chips to share with the table and it was absolutely a table favorite. Definitely recommend for a quick, tasty bite.

My first time here, on the walk in it was very family oriented. We walked in and headed to the register to place our order. After ordering it's seat yourself seating area, which wasn't bad at all. You had a choice of high tables booths or low tables. The number given to you after payment helps the servers find you. I was so excited about trying the turkey burger until it came. The burger wasn't hot, and the cheese wasn't even melted. I still gave it a try for good measure it had the potential to be a good burger, but due to it not being at least warm, it was a fail for me. I left this place unhappy with my meal. No, I didn't say anything, cause a first impression is everything to me. I did enjoy the onion rings they did come out hope and ready to eat. I also had spring water. Cool place for the kiddos. I saw plenty of families in this establishment. And the offered in and outside seating.

I kept hearing this place was good so I finally got around to trying it out and it did not disappoint. One of the best burgers i've ever had. Oreo shake was amazing as well. Highly recommend.

Told that our burger would take 15-20 minutes by the women at the counter. This place deserves the name Burger 25. It must take at least 25 minutes on average make a burger.. This place doesn't even deserve 1 star. Rude service. Not an apology or explanation. Waited and left without our food. It was over 40 minutes at this point. Probably better off going to Roy Roger's. At least they can get an order together in a timely manner.

Amazing! I’m not a huge burger person and not a fan of their onion buns (sorry) but I discovered this AMAZING Buffalo chicken sandwich and learned you can swap any burger for a regular potato bun (I highly recommend). The fries are awesome and the shakes are a world of their own.

Great service, inside outside very clean, buns were great, burger nice size for price, just appeared tasted steamed. Sauteed onions excellent, not fan of seasoned fries with coating, they were fresh and hot though. Inside dining was very crowded not 25% but we have always preferred out door dining. 9/27/20 Response to owner below, the two instances I was inside dining are at entrance and inside dining room there was no one monitoring the capacity. If you were it wasn't obvious, monitoring the capacity and running the restaurant is big task, it was nice to see your busy.

Ordered food last night for me and my fiance. Her burger had a bad onion on it, it smelled so bad idk how the cook even put it on the burger without realizing it. She ended up ordering from another restaurant entirely. My burger was less than desirable, barely ate any of it. The fries were soggy, and the other items we got were just not very good. The milkshake was the only thing I liked to be honest. At first, I was like oh it's just cheap burger food, I shouldn't expect much anyway. No big deal. Until about 3am when I woke up with food poisoning. After looking at the other 1 star reviews, I see this has happened to plenty of other people. I love a good burger spot, was really hoping for more here. Please pay more attention to the quality of your food. The cheap food is one thing and it wouldn't have resulted in a one star review. But the food poisoning is just.... Unacceptable.

This place is always been known the Great and tasty burgers. It recently moved its location up the road on Route 37. It is now located nearer to the Wawa near to Hooper Avenue; basically across from IHOP. When I went did the original spot several years ago my cheeseburger was outstanding. My first time trying out Petal and I can definitely say it will not be my last. Everything was AMAZING!!!!!!! I wish I took a picture of my Sakura crepe and rolled ice cream before I stuffed my face, lol. I did take a picture of the J-petal cocktail and the J-petal Special. You definitely have to come and try it for yourself, you will not be disappointed.

Some delicious burgers! Keto friendly mobile ordering, burger was cooked to perfection and very juicy and flavorful. Instructions were followed perfectly (no bun or onions), and was presented nicely. From the brief interaction in the store (I did pickup) place smelled amazing, staff was friendly, and easy take out process.

OMG I want to chalk this up to a way off, once-in-never chance but the food was horrrrible? first time i ate there since they moved....maybe?? But everything was bad...the kids grilled cheese tasted like a dirty grill. the fried pickles made it home in less than 5 minutes but they were MUSH, couldnt eat them at all. the a1 burger had so much bleu cheese there was more cheese than patty but you couldnt wipe it off cause the sandwhich was a mushy mess! for $50 i just cant see giving it another chance, dont know how they are still getting 4.5+ reviews

Always a stop on my way to the jersey shore. Delicious burgers and friendly staff. Would recommend my family and friends stop there if they are ever in the area. I always get the Bacon Royale( #9) and and am never disappointed. Always as delicious and filling as last time. Fries aren't included which is the only downside but always a must go to when headed to seaside heights Beach.

Pretty good bison burger and the fries portioning is good to share between two people. I was a bit surprised at the drink prices but was happy to confirm it's also BYOB. Definitely a move next time I'm in town. Staff is attentive and food got out much quicker than I expected for a fast casual spot.

Update: I ate in their outside dining area with my dog. Their pup cups are definitely dog approved! Really enjoyed the visit. I only had a cheeseburger. I expected some basic seasonings in the meat but overall it wasn't bad. Their Oreo milkshake was probably the best I've ever had. It seemed pricey but it was pretty big. It lasted two days for me. The taste/flavor/amount was worth the cost.

Food is always good. Great value for what you get. Milkshakes are so yummy. They always have a Burger of the Month and regularly have new shakes. They also collaborate on menu items with other local restaurants. This is a great local spot to grab some burgers and shakes!

Really solid burgers - big, juicy, flavorful! We got the fried green beans, fried pickles, and the boardwalk fries to share. Enjoyed it all, but the fried pickles are a must-have - not too salty or greasy. Would recommend for a good burger!

This place is good verging on great. They give you a plethora of popular fast food standards in belly busting quantities and a good amount of ingenuity. Their seasoned Boardwalk Fries are fantastic by themselves. They are available with more toppings than I can remember, and they're the only fries I know that you can save, reheat, and still enjoy. Their burgers are monstrous and accommodate many diets and different taste buds. Great standard and special milkshakes, chicken sandwiches, cake bites - there's a lot here. I would give them 5 stars if they grill seasoned their burgers with more flavor. They are one of Toms River's best eateries.

Burger 25 is fantastic. The entire staff is extremely friendly and respectful. One thing I’d like to say is that I greatly respect ownership...they are some fantastic people who work their butts off. The Burgers are unbelievable...every time someone comes to visit the jersey shore I bring them to Burger 25 to get the experience. The Shakes of the month are awesome and I definitely recommend you give them a follow on Instagram.

This place used to be great, they simply cannot keep up with their popularity. We ordered pickup tonight. Took 50mins for a pickup order. One burger way over cooked other mooing also one was smothered in disgusting Mayo after asking for absolutely no Mayo. Fries were in the plastic container too long so they were soggy , milkshakes were great as usual. Super disappointed for a 40$ order for a mealie should have enjoyed. tried to call and complain about the burger mess up, Couldn’t get someone on the phone. ***Update*** owner reached out to us privately and extended there apologies and refunded our money. Made us feel a lot better about tonight’s experience. I’m sure the next time we go it will be much better.

An incredible assortment of fresh, perfectly prepared, delicious burgers, and wraps. The sides are unique and also awesome. The shake concoctions are unbelievable. On top of it all, the prices are great! There's really nothing not to love about this place... Except more seating/parking. Word to the wise - if you're not eating in, call your order in ahead of time. It's usually standing room only. Definitely follow them on Facebook and Instagram for mouthwatering photos, news about new shakes /burgers and specials, as well as occasional contests for free food! EDIT 1/4/21 - They've moved closer to my home and now I am in BIG TROUBLE!! The new location is amazing - many seating options inside and out, and a convenient pick up window. Even with the bigger location and lot, it is still difficult to find parking. It's a good problem to have! We will be lifelong B25 patrons for as long as they're (or we're) here!

Picking up orders need some upgrades. Like how pizza places has. There should be a way to confirm that the person who purchased the food online is here, instead of knocking on the glass windows and telling them I am here. It will be a lot better if they can send out an email with the "I am here" tap confirmation. Hopefully we will be seeing that feature in the future.

Tried to order by calling but after three attempts and being put on hold every time the biggest downfall is inability to take orders and have them ready in a timely manner. No matter how good the product is, if you can't deliver great results time to fix it or see customers go elsewhere like I did.

My wife and I enjoyed going to J-Petal. The facility was clean and the staff was helpful in explaining how the rolled ice cream works and what’s included. It is expensive at $6 for a cup of rolled ice cream with 3 complimentary toppings. Fortunately, I enjoyed the uniqueness of the treat and could see the value in the price. Also, certain days they do a BOGO Happy Hour which would absolutely make it worth it. It’s also nice that they offer other treats and gluten free options.

I always enjoy the Vegetable wrap that I get when I come here. The 5th star would be available if they found a faster process to make these “pancake” wraps and keep them fresh and warm to speed it up. Waiting around 10 minutes for a sandwich is ok but when they are busy (like 2 people in front of you) you could wait quite a bit longer. If it were a sit down restaurant with table service that would be fine, but it’s a place to come in for a bite informally. I do love the food though! 🎉

Wish I had gone here sooner , this place is too good it like makes me want to sing with joy about how beautifully made their crepes and ice creme is. First off the crepes are all gluten free and like amazing . They have lunch dinner and dessert crepes. I also got vegan vanilla ice creme from them with lychee smashed into it and fresh blue Berry's, strawberries, coconut, and peanut butter on top which they made right in front of me fresh, my mouth waters just thinking about how light and fresh it was just excellent and addicting, I have to go back to this place asap. I got a chicken teriyaki crepe which i scoffed down and a crab crepe which was like a spicey crab salad inside the crepe. I think about going back there like almost every day and if I lived closer I probably would.

This was my second time there and it was just as good as the first. I actually ordered a savory wrap this time and it was very fresh and appetizing.

Ice cream and tea are great! The wraps are okay! I love that they have games that you can play while you eat. You can also watch as the workers create your food!

And different than fast food burger chains the actual food looks like the picture on the wall if not even better. Desserts came with three free toppings. I’m from the Princeton area and this place is totally worth the nearly hour drive. Very big menu, great shakes, great burgers, really good boardwalk fries! Really nice environment as well. I’ve been here twice now and I have not once been disappointed. Will be back again!

Ordered takeout through the website. The food was ready in 20 minutes. I got there and it was very busy inside with many people waiting and dining in. Picked up my food 1 minute after walking in and left. I have to say it is run very well and the food was delicious. I ordered a chicken sandwich off the menu online and some of my options were not made correctly but I still believe they deserve 5 stars. The pricing was very reasonable which is hard to find in 2022. I will 100% return to Burger 25 and recommend anyone looking for a quick burger to stop in or takeout as it is very good food.

Burgers are always great! My favorite is the Avacado club burger! My kids love the bacon cheeseburger & mac n cheese bites. Service is fast & friendly. Inside dining is a bit loud at times, but we usually grab a table outside. You won't be disappointed!🍔

Today's Lunch at Burger 25 for our first visit. Kit had the Classic Cheese Burger, I had the Trenton Burger which is topped with Pork Roll and Cheese... We also got the Jersey Fries that was topped with Cheese and chopped up Pork Roll and Ketchup. Two sodas and the meal was complete!!! Burgers were high-quality, delicious and of good size. Definitely worth the stop!!!

Solid Burger Joint. Meat was fresh and not frozen. Bacon was thick and smokey, perfect. Fixing were fresh. Seasoned fries were thick and tender but not soggy. My strawberry shake was terrific. The Burger could have used a hint less salt and a few more ounces of Beef and I would have for sure have given the food rating a 5 Everyone else in my party enjoyed their food as well.

I tried 4 different burgers and was underwhelmed. It seemed like they used frozen patties and the meat was not tender and chewy. The burgers when wrapped were huge. I ordered the Swiss and Mushroom burger and the cheese was stuck to the paper it was wrapped in and although there was a lot of mushrooms, they were canned and sliced thick and once again chewy and flavorless. Also I hate onions so I made sure to order the burger without onions yet mine and everyone else’s burger had at least 1 or 2 pieces of I guess their version of onion ring in it since it was all made in the same place. The pulled pork BBQ sandwich was not pulled but chunks so that was not really what I expected and not as tender either but it was ok. One of the burgers was a double patty and it really got hidden where we had to look for which one had it, nothing was marked to know which sandwich/burger was which except one I believe. They also got the order incorrectly done where I asked for something on the side plus on the burger and they left it out of the burger and never gave me the side either so that was disappointing. The prices are reasonable and they have daily cool specials, the place seemed really popular with a lot of cars and the restaurant full with people. The smell was incredible, the charred meat smell in the air was very appetizing. Fried you have to buy separately, no combos. Have not tried the fries or milkshakes yet.
