Check your bill! Charlie’s is now charging 3% extra for credit card usage and for all pickup/delivery orders they include an additional “service charge.” On top of that, all pickup orders also carry a “pickup charge” of 50¢! Yes, the customer gets to pay them for the pleasure of picking up their own food! When I complained about this additional charge to the counter worker, her response was, “We’ve always charged that.” Well, silly me for not checking my bill sooner, but shame on you Charlie’s for taking advantage of your customers like that! Oh, and the food has gone from great to mediocre, so it’s not even worth the trouble.

The Pizza was mediocre. Coming from NY it's hard for a NJ pizzeria to match up but i have found some good ones but not this time unfortunately.The grandma Pie had no flavor, chicken parm no flavor but the cutlet was a nice peice not chewy and cooked well just zero flavor. The staff was nice but we stood around for awhile before anyone asked if we needed help they need better organization on greeting customers and asking them if they want table service or not their was alot of bodies behind the counter no reason for no wait staff to make you feel invited.. It was our first time and our last time. Anytime the food repeats on you minutes after you ingest it that's a not coming back moment. Place was clean though and very roomy.

Been eating Chuck's my whole life since we were kids walking there for lunch and ive never had a bad meal. One of the best and most consistent pizza joints in TR

Went here today with my boyfriend & the pizza was great, very fresh and yummy 🍕 UPDATE: My favorites are definitely the plain cheese & chicken, bacon, and ranch slice :))

This is my pitstop right next to ShopRite. Their pizza is very good and so are their hot sandwiches. I haven't tried their dishes so I will have to come back and update when I try their entrees. If you want delicious pizza, Charlie's has it!!

My fiancé and I love this place. We go here like every week for a slice. It is just us two so it's very convenient that they always have slice selections as we don't need a whole pie. Compared to other shops in Toms River, Charlies always has individual slices and that's our main thing! We love it there , pizza is always flavorful and hot

We absolutely love their pizza, especially the personal pies. Their pasta is top shelf & the service is outstanding. You will not be disappointed.

All good is great. Soups are superb! They just to change their bread company. Bread they offer to go is yuk! A good Italian joint should have better bread. Just sayin!

Good food, we go for a stuffed pie when we order here. Salads are really nice and have generous meat portions.

I really hope that you like soup because you will be covered in it by the time you get home. The soup containers completely disintegrated and caved in on themselves during our drive home. Not only that but the pasta containers were not closed completely and the oil leaked out all over my fabric seats in my car and it is never coming out. On top of that, they forgot our mozzarella sticks and we only ordered three things. My sister, who was holding the food bag, was covered in soup and has a burn on her leg. We immediately went back to the restaurant and had our food remade. By the time we got home the new soup containers were on their way to disintegration. No shade, the food was good.

After prepaying a $40 order, they told me they won't deliver to my address anymore because it is in an apartment complex. I will never order from there again!

Forgot to give us a pie and the rest of the food was overpriced garbage. Staff does not know how to take an order or add simple math for that matter. I dont know what kind of people work there... but the must of taken the short bus to school. If you want good pizza and good service go to lindas down the road. Do not go to this dump.

Location, location, location. Very convenient, excellent access, outdoor tables also. Friendly, plenty of sit-down space, comfortable. Satisfactory bathroom. Pizza was oily, but ok.

Haven’t ordered here in a while the food use to be good I guess when you care more about money than quality this is what happens

literally just called in at 9:58pm thinking they were open until 11pm (11/18/22) and the girl answering the phone was so rude, when i apologized for not knowing they closed at ten (knowing that i wouldn’t have even called), she made rude comments and hung up the phone. foods good, but whoever that girl is that just took my call turns me off from this place… horrid customer service

The last couple of times we ordered from Charlie's their pizza was very thin with little cheese and sauce. Basically the prices have gone up, but the quality has gone down. Time to switch to a different pizzeria.

We ordered a cheese steak sub sandwich. Very good. Fresh sub roll. Plenty of meat, cheese, peppers and onions.

I have been to Charlie's numerous times in the past, but my recent two visits made my throat irritated. I am sensitive to some ingredients and when companies substitute cheaper ingredients, I have a reaction. Service was fast and friendly, but I can't go back.

We order from Charlie’s multiple times a week, for the last 3-4 years. We live about a minute & a half away from them.. we’ve never had any issues ever, until we just got our food tonight I ordered a Caesar chicken wrap with fries & as I’m finishing up my fries & UNDERNEATH them is a dead moderately sized fly. So unsanitary. I’m disgusted. Never again.
