Avoid this place. Highly incompetent waitress we had that day. Woman with the box dyed hair who seemed to be the manager kept blaming the slow service on the fried calamari we ordered because it's made to order. We had a problem with the waitress not bringing my husband his toast. He was more than halfway done with his breakfast, and she was nowhere to be found and still no toast. If she was the manager, she should be demoted as she the wrong attitude with dealing with the public.

Stopped in here for a relaxing lunch. Kit had the Deluxe Cheese Burger and I chose the the Grilled Cheese Cordon Blue Sandwich with Cole Slaw and pickle slices on the side. First time here and the food was delicious and prepared well. Staff very friendly and made you feel at home.

I kinda don’t wanna give up the secret of going on a weekday midafternoon but this is their best time. Almost always empty during these hours and I go in a beeline to the blueberry silver dollars. I always switch it up between the silverton omelette and the corned beef omelette. Neither disappoints. I very rarely venture out of the breakfast menu but if and when I do the Swiss burger and the pizza burgers are pretty good. One of my current favorite spots.

Pretty good diner, at least during our experiences. German owned or established? There are a number of German themed dishes. Tons of different dishes, nice people, plenty of spacious seats. Almost everything we've had there has been very good and we've been there at least 5 times now. Apricot Brandy Chicken is unique and phenomenal. Deserts are good too. Spinach and Rice side is just OK, not amazing. Dishes are cooked to order. Butter rolls are fresh but not amazing or anything. Packets of dressing instead of house made unfortunately. Not too hard to make a vat of house dressing and prepare other flavors in cups in the back. Holidays are crowded. You can bring your own wine with the specials. Not the cheapest diner these days, but very few places are cheap anymore. Your mileage may vary, but I recommend a try.

This was the best roast chicken it was tender and so juicy and the stuffing was delicious also

Food was great, got the "New York Panini" and highly suggest it. Service was nice and food came out extremely quick. Plus had reasonable prices

Old school diner, hasnt changed much in the past 20+ yrs, but clean and inviting. Reasonable prices and an accomodating variety of choices. I go regularly with my family. Its a diner, wish i could give it a 5

First time visiting. It is inside a strip mall so it might not have the traditional Jersey Diner atmosphere. Service was excellent. Just had a light dinner, but the food was good. Salad for one, BLT, and a BBQ Chicken wrap. I will go again when in the mood. No guarantees of a great meal but a solid diner.

I haven't been there in a while. It was like visiting a old relative. Warm, friendly n familiar! Had the Fork n Knife gyro. Huge plate very tasty!

First day of Stay-cay vacation. Wanted to go out to breakfast on my own to decompress and enjoy the mild morning. They seated me all the way in the back by the kitchen, not lit well. All the other people were sitting up front near the well lit area and windows ( about 6 or 7 other couples). What was I, chopped liver??? Just because I came in single does not mean I want to hide. I came in because I wanted to be out. Not hidden away from everyone. I am a caretaker. I wanted to take care of myself today. SMH! If you see someone by themselves, don't assume they need a quiet area or don't have a partner. I made a choice to be served breakfast today. Which I might add was good. Your behavior ridiculous.

It was a very noisy place. That's ok, because it was busy. Our server was very nice. The food was standard diner fare, and the prices were reasonable. I had breakfast there, but the menu was comprehensive. There was definitely something for everyone. No complaints. I'd go back for breakfast.

Good place for a quick lunch or dinner. Attentive staff and quick service. Great grilled cheese and tomato on rye, with a side of sweet potato fries.

I love this place. I hope they never remodel. The music and atmosphere is so early nineties it makes me so happy. Food ans service is great too!

*Beware, racist woman working at the front* I have to say, the waiters and the food at this diner are both good. We’ve always had friendly waiters and the food comes out quick, hot and delicious. However, the woman at the front with the black hair is another story. I am Hispanic and she has never greeted me despite my saying a friendly hello every time I have come in. At first, my husband and I thought, she must be busy or didn’t hear me, but this is the 3rd time we have gone in and she has ignored me. To make matters worse, while my white husband was paying, she was very pleasant to him AND she greeted a white man who walked through the door before he even greeted her. We will not be returning to this diner while this racist greeter continues to work here.

Silverton Diner has been the location of many tasty meals with my loved ones over the years. My Auntie Nore turned me on to the the delicious eggplant fries years ago. Now I love having them in memory of her.

My husband and I shared a large breakfast and it was very good. The french toast was tasty and the meal was served promptly by a pleasant waitress.

Clean and friendly place. Nicely decorated and staff super friendly. Nice portions fair price,a byob location. Coffee was excellent. The have many specials, one I noticed was sept.30th the are having OKTOBERFEST, saurbraten etc. I forgot to ask if they have senior citizen pricing. But still worth the trip. Ill be back

I went in today with 2 of my lady friends The staff always remembers us. I had the October fest. So did one of my friends. It was delicious 😋. I had the saurbrauten. It came with chicken orzo soup. I loved the soup. The dessert had choices but I picked pumpkin roll. Delicious.

My home away from home---- my Cheers. Comfortable going by myself and I know most of the staff, since I've been going there 30+ years. Food is good. Like every place else, prices have gone up.

Quality of the food (lunch) was poor. The soup special, potato corn chowder, had hardly any potatoes or corn - it was gelatinous - way, way too much corn starch. Same for the brown gravy. Will not be going back there.

Service is okay but the food can use a lot of work! My tomato’s were old and the coffee tasted like it was yesterdays. Front end woman is a grouchy lady! Definitely need to improve on food and service!

The food was very good and the waitress was great, friendly and very attentive with out being over bearing.
