It was my first time trying this sandwich place and I was not disappointed. The tuna sub was the best one I've ever had. Fresh, just the right amount of mayo and so much tuna that it oozes everytime I bite into it. The subs are so huge that I felt like I had to unhinge my jaw to take a bite. The Capicola is my favorite so far. The turkey was alright. The boys working there were nice and polite. You can get 2 whole subs and a 3rd for $6+. Highly recommended!

Fun sub spot off 37 in Toms River easy to find with plenty of parking. Everyone was super friendly and there was some space for eating in. Great sub menu plenty of hot and cold options with fresh ingredients. I got the #10 with everything (add mayo). Meat is ample and the bread is soft everything you're looking for in a nice Italian sub. A half was more than plenty for a lunch and the prices were more than reasonable. Will definitely be back!

I'm so glad I randomly stopped here on my way through. One of the best subs I've had, made the way a sub should be made. Yeah, it was like fifteen plus bucks for a full size sub, seventeen something with tax, but it was far more than three subway "footlong" subs. I'm not small, and I have an appetite. This sub served for breakfast, lunch, and lunch again the following day as well. It is clear that they put high quality ingredients into the subs and spice it wonderfully, they know what they're doing, if you want a sub, go to the Sub Doctors! Also heard that their mac and potato salads are very good.

I work close by on route 37. Often I call in for lunch. The staff is very friendly and you’ll step right into a clean atmosphere. The service is the same consistent excellence, and the food is always tasty and tailored to your request. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my sandwiches, service, and how fresh everything comes out to be. If you are a foody, or just passing by looking for a quick bite, you will not be disappointed!

This was my favorite spot to go for breakfast and lunch. Everyone at work ordered from here. Ever since this establishment sold its gone down hill. Food is not the same and prices went up up!! If I was getting the same service and delicious food like before I wouldn't mind paying more. I complained and the new owner just didnt care. Needless to say I and 90% of my co-workers feel the same ans have stopped ordering from sub-doctors.

OMG! The Pastrami is Delicious! Warm, thin sliced, No fat. So Good. Also ordered 2 subs both huge, lots of meat. Even the coleslaw was tasty. Great food will definitely be back.

I had ordered Sub Doctors quite a while ago and honestly completely forgot about them. But, about 2 weeks ago I decided to order and I'm glad I did! The subs were wonderful both hot and cold! Very nice portions for the price I paid. I got lunch specials once and they were great for the price! My Dad used to own a deli when I was little. He said they reminded him of the subs he used to make his customers as the portion and amount you get is wonderful! The staff are kind and really took their time on the phone. Really friendly and I didn't feel rushed. The food only took 40-45 minutes maybe an hour depending on how busy they are. Considering the preparation, cooking of hot items and delivery time to my address. The only thing I wish would change is offering a larger size for the sides but that is very minor. I'll gladly order from them time and time again when we want subs especially because my Dad and entire family were happy! Thank you! Can't wait to hopefully stop in the store sometime but having delivery really helps as I'm unable to drive.

Was here for the first time. A friend recommended the subs r very nice especially with the meat. Had 2 different 1/2 subs and it is very good. Impressive with the meat and it was fast too. Didn’t wait long at all. Will definitely come here for a sub!! Thank you boys for the quick n tasty sub. 👍👍👍👍👍

This was my first cheesesteak in a long time. Since I now live in Atlantic County….it’s my first non Philly/South Jersey Cheesesteak in as long as I can remember. These guys can go toe to toe with any cheesesteak. Legit. It was flavorful, juicy, lots of cheese (provolone) and really good bread. It’s not the crusty Atlantic City bread that I’m used to. But it’s its own thing, and it was fresh and tasty. Pat who? Geno who? This is a top notch cheesesteak.

Everything from here is amazing! I highly recommend the zucchini fries with the horseradish dip. Sooo good! Their bread and meats are delicious. This place has been around forever and once you get a taste you will understand why!

The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because it's so expensive. Otherwise this place is phenomenal. They actually give you meat on your sandwiches unlike subway with only 4 pieces of meat. The bread is tasty too. I've been coming here for over a decade about once a month (again due to pricing). Our food is always enough for 2 meals.

Great food. Ordered on Grubhub and let me tell you, their Balsamic Chicken sub is huge and delicious! They give you a great portion and they beat Jersey Mike’s subs hands down! You won’t be disappointed!

My Aunt who lives in Toms River brought my Mom one of their subs. My Mom loved it & asked that I drive all the way from Neptune to bring her one. Definitely worth the trip. The bread was fresh & so were the trimmings i.e. lettuce, tomato & onions. The meat was hearty & plentiful. I ordered a half of turkey with provolone sub & my Mom, ham, capacola & provolone. The subs were delicious and the staff was attentive, courteous & moved quickly. Will definitely be back.

Love coming to this place. No matter what we order, which is the same thing all the time mostly, it is always good. Always feel welcome by the friendly staff. Very quick with making the order soon after you call. From the specials to the workers I side, that's what keeps me coming back to this sub ace.

Sub Doctor's is such a great sandwich shop! Really nice people, good service and delicious food at a reasonable price. I usually get Italian sub, roast beef sub or cheese steak and they are always huge and fresh and delicious. I don't go to sandwich chains at all because Sub Doctor is so much better. Definitely worth supporting this fantastic local business!

Actually impressed with the subs. The half sub is pretty big with lots of meat and toppings. Really good sub. Fast, friendly staff. I thought it was a little expensive for a half sub until I started to eat it. It was pretty big and had to split the sub into two meals. So it's well worth the price.

The California chicken was so greasy I couldn’t even get through it. Sloppy too they don’t care how you’ll eat it I had a chunk of chicken in the middle of the wrap and everything else slid around the ends I’m so grossed out Adding to this review, this place must be reusing old oil because I just threw up!

Three subs (Italian, roast beef, turkey) all loaded w meat lettuce tomato onion. The bread was delicious. Will definitely go back.
