Good bagel selection.

10 am on Mother's Day and all they have are everything bagels? They are open until 1pm. The phrase "that's all we have. What do people not get?" could be heard from the back of the house. Perhaps, and I'm just spit ballin' here, keep the ovens ready and make a few at a time throughout the morning. Then you'll have fresh bagels and a variety to boot and you will minimize waste while keeping everyone happy.

We are here visiting family, they said this was the place for bagels. Well, there aren’t wrong! Very delicious and quick with service. We will definitely be back before we leave!

Starting with I did love this spot.. however lately now whoever has been in the kitchen does not know how to toast a bagel. This is maybe the 3rd time and I’m not the type of person to complain about my food but please teach the new staff how to toast a bagel, I didn’t ask for a burnt bagel! For anybody not getting a bagel toasted you should be fine and should enjoy your bagel ☺️

The breakfast sandwiches are delicious and the customer service is great. The girls are always very sweet and friendly. They always greet me with their beautiful smiles and their bubbly personalities which makes going there all the more enjoyable. You will not meet people who are nearly as friendly anywhere else. I enjoy the grand slam or the triple play breakfast sandwiches the most. The bagels are awesome too and they always hook you up with extra cream cheese!

I am not one to write reviews and have been eating breakfast sandwiches since I can remember, but Allstar bagels takes the cake! From the staff and aesthetic to the elite bagels/sandwiches this place has quickly become one of my go to spots. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys a friendly staff who can make your morning everyday with the best that bagel shops have to offer!

Really about 3-1/2 stars. Honestly, it's okay, but I'm spoiled. I live in Bergen County and there's NO comparison to the bagels. It's a decent fix while we're down here on the weekends. I'm surprised that their breakfast sandwiches are the same price as up north...especially since there's really no taste comparison. Overall, for this area, they're decent.

This place has consistently surpassed my expectations and provides a quality breakfast sandwich along with a good environment and strong service. Would definitely recommend this place for a breakfast/brunch spot if you're in/around Toms River.

During the summer season, I am an active customer here almost every Saturday and Sunday. Although the previous owners had run a nice place, the new owners and their family do a great job. I have no complaints, they have been nothing but respectful. Personally, I think the food has improved greatly since the new ownership. Sandwiches, bagels, and spreads have been off the charts with their quality and tastiness. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone near the Toms River area. As long as the new owning family owns this establishment, this is where I’ll be getting my bagels.

I have been going to all Star Bagel for years. It has been recently sold to Joe the new owner. I went there a few months ago on a Saturday as usual and my order was not done properly. Joe was off that day so I spoke to him Monday. Very nice man and very apologetic. He said not only would he do my order over again for free but gave me three additional weeks for free. What a great offer and what a nice man. Much more than I expected. So I would tell everyone I know to try this place. And if you had any problems in the past and stop going there. Please speak to Joe The owner. I’m sure he will do whatever he can to make it right.

Where to start. Girl at the register and phone is incredibly rude and not enthusiastic at all. The entire staff has no idea what "no cheese" means. Out of maybe 20 orders, they've only gotten it correct once. Even calling ahead, you'll still be waiting for a decent amount of time. Save yourself the trouble at this location

Ordered two breakfast sandwiches, the pork roll on both were raw and one bagel was completely coated in egg yolk, had to throw them both away.

They make the best breakfast sandwiches around and I've tried many. Even my picky eight yr old loves them <3

Terrible bagels that are like small thin rings. Nothing to them. Girls at the counter are always rude and never even smile or say anything back to me. Theyll watch me drop a few dollars in the tip jar and not even say thanks or have a nice day back lol nothing. Gave this place so many chances bc its close to home but ill simply go elsewhere from now on.

I'm very disappointed the play areas were very dirty. I'm not talking one day dirty but not clean in months dirty food and unhealthy uncleanness areas. The slide area had mats in between the mats were food and trash that could make you sick. So you know that it won't cleaned or wiped down in months. Wish I had my phone but I didn't sorry. Next time if I happen to go by I will show why health depth should fine them for starters

First off, my sausage egg and cheese on egg everything was banging. A little slow on service slow. A line formed with 8 people behind me and 3 of them left waiting to order. I asked for ketchup and they ran out of packets, plus no napkins or salt and pepper on tables. Little touches like that make the difference.

First time here at this bagel place. Prices were good, same thing at another place closer to me cost $2.50 more so I was happy prices were normal. I got a bagel w pork roll, egg & cheese on an egg everything bagel. My friend (bc they had run out of the French toast bagel - I will be going back for that one to try for sure!) chose the egg everything as well and made it in to a sandwich. Ate in the car and I said, "Wow, this everything bagel is excellent." (Thinking it was just me, bc after all, it's just a bagel). But my friend goes, "I was thinking the same exact thing." I said yeah, but I'm talking about the bagel part itself. And they said, yes, I know! To be able to NOTICE with everything on it already, that the bagel was perfect, says a lot. A tiny hint of sweetness in the dough was awesome. (I don't ever eat DD bagels, they suck to me, so not comparing to that place either). Anyway, the crumb cake was great too. Ended up taking another everything bagel w salmon cream cheese on it home as well and I was glad I had, lol. Wish they were around the corner from my neighborhood~

Great Bagels but I find the last few times that I have been in there. The service is not that great. They have one girl taking orders on the register and answering the phone and also begging bagels. I guess they have people in the back doing the orders but I think they need to understand Most people that are coming in are in a hurry because they're on their way to work. I have waited entirely too long just to have a buttered bagel. The bagels are very good but I think they need to have a better system where they can get people out the door quicker! Don't get me wrong. I love the bagels and I do go out of my way to go to this particular bagel shop but I find the time that I sit there waiting just is too long! FYI I used to go to the All-Star bagel in Manchester but that place is just a hot mess!

LISTEN UP! READ HERE! Alright alright ladies and gentleman, this is a brutally honest food review, for this all star bagels location. After consistently ordering the home run breakfast sandwich, it quickly became one of my favs. Their sandwiches and bagels are made with love by their awesome staff, and served with a smile each and every day. Near perfect consecutive quality. I’m extraordinarily pleased every time I take a bite out of my home run, it feels like I actually just hit a home run. 5 stars all day baby!!!

Just ordered a simple bacon egg and cheese on a roll and another a bagel. Asked for bacon well done and it was basically raw. Eggs were not fully cooked. Very disappointed.

Called on my way in during my lunch break. I had 30 mins to drive there pick it up and it which is usually plenty. It took 30 mins for my sandwich to be made so I was now running late for work and on top of it my order was wrong. I’ve never waited 10 mins for a egg and cheese in my life. Let alone 30. IF ITS GONNA TAKE 30 MINS FOR A EGG AND CHEESE, TELL THE CUSTOMER ON THE PHONE. PEOPLE HAVE WORK JOBS MEETING TO GET TO.

Stopped here as halfway point on the way home from AC for a quick breakfast. Staff was super friendly and egg sandwich and bagels were excellent.. While we were sitting there eating the owner came out with 2 prices of raspberry crumb cake for us... He didn't even know it was my birthday! The crumb cake was amazing so moist and soft.. I quickly stopped eating my bagel to enjoy! Highly recommend this place to anyone in the area.. Definitely try the crumb cake it was one of the best I ever had!

No better or worse than most other bagel shops in the region. Order was taken quickly, but was a bit slower than most getting through the kitchen. I only ordered 2 with cream cheese, so I don't understand why an egg sandwich order taken after me was ready 2 orders before mine. The bagels were decent, but nothing to rave about. I will say the everything bagel was not totally covered in poppy and sesame seeds. There was a good balance of garlic, salt and onion on it, which is becoming harder to find as poppy and sesame seeds are apparently cheaper than garlic, salt and onion. I am not opposed to going back, but I have the same much closer to home.

Good, New Jersey bagels. I'm visiting from NY, so I'll let you guys finish that sentence. BUT. Their cream cheese with chives was some of the best I've had! You won't go wrong here. Enjoy!

Placed an order for delivery. Waited a lot longer for delivery then what I was told. Food was delivered cold. A bagel was missing from one of the orders. Called and was told the driver would be right back out with it. Now an hour and a half later still waiting. Would have been nice to have eaten the eggs with a bagel.

The name says it all. Absolutely delicious and perfectly toasted bagel. High quality egg white sandwich. Super friendly staff. Definitely the best bagel around.

If you’re in Toms River and are lookin for a bagel you’re crazy to go anywhere else. The family that works the shop makes me feel like family every time I walk in. There’s no better way to start my day each morning then chatting with guys like Joe, Drew, or Max while having, by far one of the best, breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had. I’ve lived in NJ my entire life, so I know a good egg sandwich when I see one, and All Star bagels does not play around. BEST BAGELS, BEST OWNERSHIP, BEST STATE!
