I came in with mucus in my sinuous cavity , my eyes stuck closed with mucus pouring out the sides and a serious cough. The nurse practitioner stated there was nothing to do but let it run its corse. With symptoms worsening I had called 2 days later and was advised I had to pay again to be seen for a visit or I can call aftercare. I chose to give it another day to see if symptoms got better and then called aftercare they then made me aware I would not be charged for a follow up and to go in . When I got there I explained to the receptionist that I was there for a follow up and she stated I would be charged again. I had to explain that I called aftercare and they said this would be at no charge . She told me to take a seat and she would see what she can do and she was able to speak to a manager and comp the follow up charge. The Dr I seen at the follow up( i think hes from india)went over me thoroughly and provided proper medication and was fantastic. You guys have to get with the program and hire more qualified staff.

Came in with my 3.5 year old who was having a full body systemic reaction possibly due to an antibiotic. The front desk noticed the urgency and likely the stress on my face and brought us back right away (despite a pretty full waiting room). Everyone we saw, reception, nursing, and doc was SO kind and helpful. I left wanting to give them all hugs and was tearful, but beyond grateful for their fast, quality care full of sympathy for not only my son, but me too! We left with a prescription ordered to a local pharmacy, stickers and the cutest “certificate of care” for my son made by the sweetest front desk! THANK YOU ALL so much.

Visiting Lavallette from out of state I experienced a medical emergency. This urgent care was recommended by a local resident. I was treated in a timely manner by an excellent Physician and a caring nursing staff. If you need urgent care I highly recommend this location.

Front desk girls were so sweet & kind, place was so clean. Didn’t wait long at all. Dr. Anthony is hands down the greatest Dr. Around. Thank you for being so amazing & patient with me.

This place really helped me out. Walked in with a serious earwax blockage going on. Pretty much couldn’t hear out of one of my ears and Neelam (nurse practitioner) and Ashleigh (x ray) went to work. I thought for sure I was going to have to go to a specialist but these two saved the day and cleared my ears!!!! Couldn’t be happier; great place!

One of the best Urgent Care locations I have ever been to. They have very smooth processes from the time you walk in until the short wait time when you are seen by the doctor. No need to fill out forms, everything is digital. The doctor was also excellent, very attentive and actually cared and listened to my symptoms and confirmed what my doctor told me as well. She was thorough and knowledge. If I need an Urgent Care again in the future, this will be my go to. Would recommend for anyone in need of high quality care.

Visit was for my 5 yr old. We were visiting from out of state. The doctor we saw was amazing. So friendly. So personable. And, she went over the top to make him feel comfortable the entire time. Also, front desk staff were so friendly, smiling, etc. And the wait for a walk in was only 15 or so minutes on a weekday afternoon.

Walked in and was immediately greeted by receptionist. She helped me register and told me to sit down and she would bring me the forms (I am handicapped). Wait time was less than 10 minutes. Was brought to the exam room, nurse checked vitals. The doctor came right in, examined my shoulder, had me take 3 X-ray. Explained what it was, gave Rx, sent me home. They are setting up a follow up with a specialist that accepts my insurance. All over a 10 out of 10.

Highly suggest going literally anywhere else. As others have stated, the doctors are quick to decide what is wrong with you before even stepping foot in the room and talking to you. This is the second time I have been to this location in the past 3-4 months, as I do not currently have insurance I paid $225 out of pocket, last time I was here I believe I saw a different doctor. He gave me a steroid shot and some medication to pick up, the shot had me feeling better in an hour and the medication I was prescribed had me back to tip top shape in a few days. HOWEVER; the doctor I saw yesterday told me my asthma was the problem before even letting me explain my symptoms. Last I checked in my 27 years of being asthmatic, my asthma has never caused me to have a runny/stuffy nose, dizziness, and pressure under my eyes. When I asked if I could get the same shot/treatment as last time I was here he said he would not be giving me that and gave me something else stating "you're wheezing, its your asthma" gave me 2 pills that he didn't even tell me what they were for and then sent me on my way. When I asked for a note for work, he mumbled something about emailing it to me. I came out of the room the super sweet woman at the front desk told me they would be emailing me my covid test results. I told her I asked the doctor for a work note, not the test results. She had me sit and wait a few minutes and helped me out getting me the note I needed for my work. It has been a full day and I am not doing any better than I was yesterday. The doctor I saw was quick to diagnose without care about me and I now have to suffer because of his selfishness. I will never be back to this location. The staff at the front desk however was super kind, that is the ONLY positive I have to give about this location after my recent visit.

I would just like to say this was my first time visiting an urgent care facility. I know in the past few years a lot of them have cropped up. My employer had given me a list of providers and I selected yours because of the great rating you had on Google and your closeness to my home. But I just want to say your front-of-office staff was excellent, very welcoming, the woman with the red hair (I forgot her name now) was very helpful and patient with holding my hand to make sure I got all my information inputted correctly on the digital handheld computer, with all my i's dotted and my t's properly crossed! And the doctor's assistant, Stephanie who took my vitals, I want to give KUDOS to! She was so engaged, so professional, she did a great job in efficiently getting me through the process. And then the doctor, Dr. Desrochers, who did my physical, was excellent, great bedside manners and made me feel that I was in good hands! So all around on a scale of 0 to 10, I would give you guys a 12! Well done!

My experience was great. I was so scared because my MD suggested I get Covid19 tested,because of an uncommon symptoms I was experiencing… out of all the places that had Covid19 Testing at this Urgent Care had walk in testing. They are kind, patient and helpful. The place is clean and and nurses are pleasant! I will recommend friends and family. Thank you again for being so kind and understanding!

Staff are kind and professional. Place is very clean. My two visits there, the wait time has been minimal. Fantastic adjunct to your primary care physician for coughs, fevers etc. BTW, you won't automatically get an antibiotic - you're not supposed to automatically get an antibiotic! They know what they're doing - the symptoms requiring such treatment - not you!

Most pleasant experience I've ever had at a mediclinic. Everyone from the front desk, to the medical assistants, and Dr. Shah were kind, informative, and empathetic. Dr. Shah has a great sense of humor and even had my very sick 8 year old laughing. Best part is we were in and out within 30 minutes- recod time!

My second time coming here. The staff was efficient and helpful. I can’t say enough about Dr. DesRocher. He listened to me & was thorough in his diagnosis as well as treatment. He didn’t diminish me or my symptoms and he made me feel so comfortable. I wish he could be my primary care Dr. he was the best!

Great staff experience, from initial intake through to Rx discussions. The team treated me with care and mutual respect during the discussions. Easy Rx pickup right on my way home as they utilized eRx right to my preferred pharmacy.

From checking to seeing the doctor everyone was so caring and pleasant. City MD also has X-ray on site where many others do not. City MD is the best and it is the only place I will go from now on. Thank you to everyone at CityMD.

I have been to this office a few times. It is always pristine, the staff are all professional & kind. The doctor I had this visit made me feel quite comfortable and explained everything to me without rushing. I was quit happy with my experience & would highly recommend this office. The staff is super polite and considerate. I have been here numerous times this year and the two doctors I have seen on these visits were amazing. They truly listened to me and gave me a complete check up and have helped me each time. We are blessed to have this urgent care and staff available to us.

I went there with a shoulder issue. I got there at 8 o’clock. Several people in front of me. Less than a five minute wait. Everyone there was excellent. X-ray technician, Lisa was awesome as well as Julia and Kate. I can’t say enough about City MD in Toms River. It’s very refreshing to go to a place where everybody is smiling, helpful and Informative. I will surely pass this along to friends and family. So happy I passed on going to the hospital.

Excellent response from the PA and doctor when they saw my symptoms. They referred me to Jersey Shore University Hospital in Neptune where I received urgent care for a serious virus. Thank you City MD for your keen observation and prompt attention

I went in to get my eye checked out for severe itching, redness and dryness of my eyelid. I was seen by dr Levine who spent less than 2 minutes in the room with me and hardly asked questions and the questions I did answer and concerns I expressed he practically ignored. Determined I had pink eye when I am certain it is not and dismissed me when I addressed concerns about the diagnosis. I did not feel like I received proper treatment and his bedside manner was horrible. It was not busy so I feel I should’ve been cared for for more than 2 minutes if that. Now I have to find treatment elsewhere

I went to urgent care on Saturday with a sinus infection. I saw William Ippolito PA, Who prescribed a cough medicine and sinus spray. NO ANTIBOTIC, I was getting any better and on Monday, green goop started oozing out of my eyes. I woke up my eyes were glued shut. I called City MD and they referred me to aftercare. And when I called I kept getting Jen, who wanted to do a survey. I than called back the front desk transferred me directly to Aftercare. The person who picked up, I could hardly hear or understand, when I asked her if she was a Dr, Nurse or Secretary and she would not answer me. She took all my information and I’m still waiting for a return call. So difficult to navigate the medical system, especially when you don’t feel well. The ANTIBOTIC should be called in immediately, Not lose another day.

Very nice receptionists but the Dr. And nurses i saw were absolutely incompetent. Wanted to test me THREE times for strep because they had no idea I had already been swabbed, and the Dr. Was a judgemental a$$hole who I’m almost positive gave my strep results to the lady next door to me because I heard him tel her she was positive and heard her say she hadn’t even been tested. Then he told me I had a sinus infection and prescribed meds you would get for strep. Absolutely insane. Their website advertises in and out in 30 min. I was there for over an hour as one of the first patients, listening to him go into the rooms of people who arrived after me, and when I politely asked about it he said “It’s called triage ever heard of it?” DON’T GO HERE!

Horrible experience! Took my son here because he wasn’t feeling well. The doctor found he had an ear infection and then barley examined him. Thankfully I knew more was wrong and took him to our pediatrician when we got home and he was diagnosed with a virus and the virus he has could cause an allergic reaction to the amoxicillin he was prescribed during our visit

Don't go here honestly a waste of time and money. I called before going to see if they could help me with a clogged ear and they said they would, once I got there they only put 3 drops of hydrogen peroxide swabbed my ear and told me to go buy a cleaning kit and do it myself cause they couldn't. I was still charged $225 even though they did absolutely nothing.

Very professional staff and very efficient. Got off a cruise ship on Saturday, my husband and I were not feeling right. On Sunday morning went to CityMd got a Covid test and we were both positive. They were very quick to put in a prescription for us we were able to pick it up on our way home. Feeling relief and thankful for their service.

I had the best treatment at City MD on Hooper Avenue in Toms River. From the receptionist to the PA, to the Doctor, I was cared for with compassion. What an excellent group of knowledgeable professionals. Thank you for taking care of my broken fibula and putting me at ease. You wrapped my ankle perfectly and made it very comfortable until I was able to get to the Ortho doctor. My husband and I are very grateful for your services and excellent staff that helped us out.

Very unprofessional staff. They are incompetent. Came in for a drug test for a new employer. I wasn't informed that if I didn't have enough urine that I would have to do it over. Well I was short but a 0.2 ml of urine and was told I have 3 hours to produce an entirely different sample again. I should have been informed about this prior and should have been given the opportunity to drink water prior to the test. They need in-service on proper protocols. Several other patients left unhappy in my presence . DO NOT COME HERE. Come at your own risk.

Was seen within 15 minutes upon arrival, only waited 5 to 8 minutes in the examining room before I was seen. Immediately received an x-ray of my wrist. Was discharged and my medication‘s were promptly called to my pharmacy. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and the office was clean I definitely recommend this City MD for any of your urgent care needs.

Short wait in waiting room. Helpful and professional staff. I felt they listened carefully, asked for appropriate additional information, and treated me with respect. The Nurse Practitioner who treated me was informative and gave me useful information regarding the reason for my visit. I was given 2 prescriptions and got my initial dose there.

What an amazing facility! Without a doubt, the cleanest facility, nicest staff, and shortest wait of any urgent care I’ve ever been to. Just moved to New Jersey and needed to go in for a possible infection and had low expectations which were completely blown away! Highly recommend

I visited the urgent care facility today and experience went very well. The staff was was very understanding and cared about the patients. I went sometime between 1:00 - 2:00 PM and was in and out in about Half hour. I would definitely recommend them to others in need of medical care. Thank you to the doctor and ladies in the office.

Have had several great experiences at this Urgent Care location for family members and myself over the past 6 months, most recently for an injury to my foot. Front desk staff is always friendly and super helpful. Everyone is caring and professional, and have always been in and out fairly quickly.

The entire staff from the front office people to the medical team were great. They treated me with compassion. The doctor explained my issues to me clearly and made sure that I understood. There was minimal wait time. The waiting area and the treatment rooms were immaculate. “Hats off to them all”

this was my first time going and i can surly say i will be going back if needed in the future! staff was amazing and so friendly! i got in and out within 25-30 minutes (filling out paperwork and seeing a doctor) nurse had great energy and everyone was accommodating to all customers! definitely better than urgent care on rt 37!
