Absolutely love this park. It’s great for dogs and humans (plenty of seating & a book exchange). I also appreciate that all the dog owners are attentive of their dogs and actually follow the rules of NO AGGRESSIVE DOGS ALLOWED. Be prepared for lots of clean up with the water/mud but I love the “wild” feel my golden gets to have here versus a typical dog park with maybe two trees

Wow this dog park is incredible! Being an island is so unique and also puts my mind at ease that my dog won't escape! Not only do the dogs love this island, it's got a ton of amenities for humans too. Such as bathrooms, covered picnic areas, playgrounds, benches, garbage cans, and overall just lovely scenery. I'm just visiting WNY but will be making a donation to the organization that maintains this beautiful place!

This is the best dog park I have ever been too and I traveled across country with my dog. Fun for dogs, surrounded by water it's scenic and fun for dogs who enjoy water. Fully tree covered it stays a nice temperature. Huge walking loop so everyone has space and exercise. Saw a slide for kids. A gazebo for picnic but could invite furry friends. A 2ash and water station at the entrance/exit to clean mud and slobber. Everyone was super nice and friendly, both 2 and 4 legged.

Best dog park in the area! My dogs love this place, they beg me to take them every day. There’s so many nice dogs and people here, I 100% recommend this place!

It's is enjoyable for dogs and humans alike. There is paved paths for you to walk on if you don't want to walk on the grass .

Update, now closed for ‘ Spring cleaning ‘ First time at this fun place, also known as dog Island. After a lot of rain, it was quite muddy when we visited, alas! there is a double gate at the bridge entrance to prevent the puppers from escaping. that area was a bit smelly but the rest of the island was great And clean.. It’s nice and shady and there are places to sit. Will definitely be back on a sunny day.

Amazing dog park if your in the North Tonawanda or Tonawanda area. So close to home. We love it there and have already completed our 5th trip. Beach for the dogs, super spacious and gated in community. Our dog loves it there and always makes new friends. Highly recommend for a quick trip, won’t regret it.

A big park with lots of running space and shade for your pups, lots if access to water for dog swimming as well. Best of all: a rinsing station at the exit/entrance gate so you dont have to put a muddy pup back in your car.

Closed for Maintenance sign posted at the gate kinda sucks when you drive 30 minutes to get here. No info about when the park will reopen.

The best place for off leash dog pla in buffalo. Knox farm is another favorite but the farm does not have trees like this place does to keep the dogs cool on hot summer days. Amazing!

Quite possibly the best dog park I’ve ever been to. Well maintained and friendly people.

Best dog park! Very friendly dogs! Owners with common sense. People need to remember there is no smoking permitted. But if you have to do it, don't do it at the picnic table near the gate.

Huge and beautiful! Great for taking your dog in the summer time. The only problem is that it gets muddy starting mid fall and in the winter

Amazing island dedicated just for dogs. Tater absolutely loves being off leash here! Very well kept and we will definitely be coming back if we are in the area.

Brought my dog who’s never been off leash in a park like this and was very worried about her bullying little dogs or getting hurt by big ones but it was amazing the dogs were all very nice and Stella loved it recommend trying it

The best off leash park and perfect for dog-ercise. Nice little walk for the humans on a figure 8 style path. Don't love the access to the water which is not often healthy.

This was out first time here and we all including our dog absolutely loved!! The dog park is wide open. It has sunny and shady places. As well as entrances into the creek for dog and people to swim.

Best dog park ever ???

Lots of tall trees and because its on an island you are separate from the surrounding traffic and crowds (so your pets won’t be nervous). There’s even a spot where you can walk down to the creek and sail a toy boat, go canoeing, and/or fishing.

Great exercise for both dog and owner!!!

Park is closed I drove 35 min when website says open...really disappointed with communication when its are favorite park and we drive 35 to a closed park and no sign as when they will open!!!

We love the dog park! It’s a great place to let the dogs off the leash to play and run with their friends. There are beautiful old trees, a library cubby, plenty of benches, a nearby coffee shop, friendly people...what more can you ask for?

Such a lovely park, but no place for a small dog. Every time I go I have to keep my small dog on a leash because big dogs will come along and overwhelm her. If there was a fenced off small dog area it would be perfect!

Most amazing dog park.I have ever been to. Park setting is great for the human chaperones. Lots of running and swimming for the dogs.

We love this place. It's a bit far from us, but worth it for the fact that the river is a natural "fence". They have bathrooms, bags if you forget, and a water station. Most owners are attentive so you dont have to worry too much.
