Isle View Park

Tourist attraction Park Hiking area

👍👍 A very peaceful place along the Niagara river. For those traveling towards Niagara Falls, it is in the last exit before the first bridge. It is not in Grand Island --Google map is confused because of cell towers. This was a photo from Spring: from the Tribute Garden. People often mention park, Niagara,

So beautiful! Enjoyed our little stop here for shade and breezes before heading to the Falls!

Very clean and well kept. Beautiful walk along the water, can watch the boaters and ducks. Benches for seating. Theres also a Pavillion little ways down the trail accessible from another lot so you dont have to carry everything for picnicking with grill, not sure if you need to rent it. Miles long leading to other parks. Pathway has painted lines to designate walkers and bikers. Pavement is very smooth for biking/skating/boarding. Many parks to stop at for children. Public restrooms however I didn't end up using them. There is also a bike repair spot with tools and an air pump.

First impression-very clean park. The planted flowers aren't making it, but the wild flowers are gorgeous. The rocks in the water are also very pretty, and the waves are strong. Only down side of it is that there are so many moths around. Many benches around for those that always need breaks, and also bicycle lanes.

This park is not taken care of : Docks are broken, bathroom buildings are run down as well as worn picnic tables, over grown grass and empty concession stands. Stick to Isle view and other parks along the river .

Beautiful park! A great location to stop by and stretch your legs. After being on the road for so long

It's A Fine Place to walk or ride a bicycle although riding a bicycle is tricky because many walkers don't obey the marked pavement separating walking and bicycle Lanes. These are so designated, to allow both groups to use the park safely, without interference from the other. Despite people's entitlement to walk anywhere at all, bicyclists can really only ride on the path.

This park has great view of the Niagara River. This allows the avid picture taker to take pictures of the landscape that look like a pro took them. Paths for bicyclists and for pedestrians. Pet friendly and plenty of trash cans to dispose of your trash while your walking your pets. Plenty of park benches to sit and rest or enjoy the park. Kid friendly with a playground and bathrooms. Boat ramps to put your boat in and out of the water during boating season. Parking gets filled up quickly during the summer months so go early. If you get hungry during your walk, The Isle View Bar and Restaurant is close by on Niagara Street in Tonawanda. Great food and prices.

Isle View Park is situated right along the Niagara River on the path of the original Erie Canal. It has plenty of amenities, and benches and picnic tables are scattered along the bike/walking path, making it easy to relax when you feel like it. It's always clean, though the abundance of parking near the water means that people can block the bike/walking path, especially as one gets closer to Tonawanda.
