Aqua
Lane
Park
is
part
of
the
chain
of
riverside
parks
along
the
Niagara
River.
On
the
other
side
of
the
Water
Treatment
Plant
(don't
worry,
no
bad
smells)
from
the
boat
launch,
this
Park
is
bigger
than
one
might
think.
There
are
some
flat,
open,
grassy
areas,
treed
areas,
a
playground,
and
picnic
tables
scattered
about.
The
river's
edge
is
made
up
of
large
limestone
blocks,
and
you
can
overlook
one
of
the
widest
areas
of
the
river
here,
as
this
is
where
the
river
splits
to
go
around
Grand
Island.
It's
easy
to
watch
for
bald
eagles
on
Strawberry
Island,
or
just
watch
the
boats
go
by.
There
is
a
walkway
along
the
river
side
of
the
Treatment
Plant,
and
you
can
get
right
to
the
boat
launch
along
this
route.
Also,
just
up
by
the
190
is
the
bike
path
that
connects
to
the
Buffalo
section
to
the
south,
or
heads
towards
Tonawanda
to
the
north.
