Going to start with the positives They have done a great job on the refurb. The staff were very friendly and you could tell they are trying hard to impress since reopening. I also enjoyed my cinnamon swirl bread and butter pudding. Now for the negative Upon sitting down we were reeled off a long list of food that wasn't available only to find out the options we did pick were also not available. The burger as you can see was the size of a McDonald's happy meal burger and the linguine wasn't that much bigger. We repeatedly had to ask for our water as it seemed to be forgotten on numerous occasions. Last but no least my Irish coffee was served with nothing Irish about it. Like the water it seemed to be forgotten. To conclude I wouldn't recommend to others as there are better options about.

We had a nice impromptu lunch this afternoon. Sat outside so the kids could play in the small play area. The food was reasonably priced, the staff all friendly and I really liked the cute little touches at the bar (see pics). The food wasn't anything special but it was nice enough and the basic sort of pub lunch we were after! The anti pasti platter we shared for starters was very nice. We had club sandwiches for mains, which were on huge slaps of bread but the chicken breast was a little overcooked! We'd go back if we were in the area and needed a quick bite and beer whilst the kids ran around!

WOW WOW WOW! what an amazing place. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is lovely and they have thought so hard about all the little things you may want: Chargers you can borrow Board games for the kids (and adults: see picture 😂) Food bowls, treats and blankets for your furry friends (allowed indoors on the hard floor area) Blankets for you to borrow when you go outside Reading glasses to help you see the menu. An open fire (safety covered) A really thoughtful place with helpful, attentive staff, a lovely outdoor play area. Just everything you could want! My first visit blew me away so can’t wait to come back. Great job guys!

This was the first time we popped in for ages, after not having a great experience previously…. And wow 🤩 what a different place it is now. It looks like it has had a complete refit to a very high standard ! We grabbed a couple of menus and found a table in the bar area , they had lunch time menu so we order two courses from that. One gammon and chips and one chilli and chips , be warned the chilli 🌶️ was spicy! But very very tasty! The gammon was well cooked and came with a egg and a slice of pineapple 🍍 super quality . The staff where attentive and the no issues in getting served at the bar. We will definitely be revising, next time for a Sunday roast ! Well Done The Fields!

I work as a truck driver around the corner from your restaurant/pub and drive past every day at least two times a day. It always looks clean, smart and inviting so I decided to take my wife there for dinner yesterday evening. Both very impressed and will definitely be back. Staff were very polite, friendly and helpful and the food was great. Keep up the good work. Will be back soon.

I came for Friday night dinner with friends, the car park was fairly busy but managed to get a spot as other people were leaving. Decent amount disabled spaces, and there are even electric charge points! Service was excellent, staff were really friendly and helpful and the food came out reasonably quickly. I had the duo of chicken balotine and pork belly with seasonal vegetables, mash potatoes, and gravy from the specials menu. Although it didn't look like a large portion because of the plate, it came close to filling me up. Flavours were really good too so I would recommend this one. For dessert I had the chocolate fudge brownie, it started off good, but not sure if due to how cold it was the ice cream just didn't taste quite right to me, which is a shame as I was looking forward to that. Prices for mains are around £13-16 unless you're getting grill items, and desserts were around £6-8. On a side note, although I didn't have it, my friend had fish and chips and that looked excellent!

What a beautiful pub/restaurant! I hadn't been here before so I didn't know what to expect. I just popped in for my morning coffee but will definitely go back and try the food. I would recommend it to friends and family.

Had a lovely lunch catching up with my friend yesterday afternoon. Food was delicious, plentiful and reasonable in terms on cost. Cheryl was our waitress and we both found her to be attentive and personable without being intrusive. Cheryl was friendly, warm and efficient. Thank you Cheryl x

Very impressed from parking in the car park to exiting through a lit arch in the moonlight. Food was of good quality myself opted for the mixed grill my first in many years and was not disappointed my wife had a steak cooked to perfection we both were very content. Reasonably priced considering the economy but drinks were a little pricey the cocktails were nice and powerful. Great staff real service with a smile. We have been to many eateries in this area and the fields comes out on top so recommend anyone to pop in when you have the chance.

The staff are always welcoming. I visit regularly, they even remember what I drink. We chose from the Christmas menu. Everything we had was very tasty and the portions were huge. My sister took enough turkey home for her lunch today. I would recommend all to visit, if not to eat just for a drink. Merry Christmas.

Went in on Saturday afternoon and had the mixed grill and loved it. So we came back on the Sunday for my birthday lunch with my family! Best roast I've had in ages 1st class. Great value for money and the staff was so lovely and helpful. Great atmosphere can't rate this place enough. I'd give it 10 stars if I could can't wait to go back

Great food and such friendly service. Nothing too much trouble. Allowed us to sit where it should have been food ordered at the bar and gladly took our order where we were seated. Only criticism is we love eating with you but please change the menu more often as we visit quite frequently. Bring back the lamb for my best friend! Bring back specials and rotisserie

The food was very good especially as it was busy, and the service was even better. We were served by Emma, and nothing was too much trouble. Everything was done with a smile and she made us feel welcome we will be returning

We was so exiting to come here today after having 2 previous roasts which were lovely! Today not so much we waited ages for our drinks, the starter was fine and then the guy brought the roast out and he was so rude! Hated the fact that I asked him to bring out our sides that we paid for, I also asked him if I could have some more gravy and he just stared at me walked of and never returned, the beef which is usually delicious tasted like cardboard, very disappointed won’t be returning!

Food was lovely ordered the signature burger and was amazing! My daughter ordered the gammon on the lunch menu and she ate it all. Staff were very friendly from the front of house man who seated us and served our drinks to the waitress Cheryl, lovely place, been here over the years and the pub has been decorated lovely, me and my daughter definitely enjoyed our 'ladies that lunch'

Lovely lunch with a friend. Mixed grill was good if it lacked in the amount of mushroom and tomato. Meat was well cooked and the egg yolk one of the tastiest in a long time. My chocolate bomb desert was gorgeous, truly tasty brownie base. Service was excellent. Needs more zero alcoholic drink options. 30%off voucher made it very cost effective

Yet again, we were greeted warmly and staff took us to our reserved table. Staff were attentive but unobtrusive. Our food was delicious and from a wide range of options. Overall, as usual, a very positive experience.

Can't fault this pub! The interior is relaxed and comfortable but stylish! The staff are very welcoming and attentive. The foods delish and very well priced! The cocktails are spot on, coming from someone who has worked in cocktails bars. And . . Throughout the week they are 2 for £12! 5 stars all round! Will be coming frequently!

We came to this restaurant on the 5th January for our little boys birthday with all the family. The service was absolutely amazing! It was our first time here and definitely will not be our last. ALL the staff were so attentive and friendly. The food was great too! Thank you

First class waitress Amy looked after our group of six brilliantly. She was presented with an ever declining situation with a restaurant that seemed determine to run out of food! We went on a Sunday - long shot going to a pub restaurant on a Sunday expecting a Sunday roast but we were hopeful. Maybe it's because we went so late? It was 5:30pm after all. But yes you guessed it no Sunday lunches. Hey ho. Crazy idea in the first place. We worked our way through our selections to be told progressively that they were all run out. My favourite was the order for a steak and salad - apparently no steak. Mind you, order steak and chips......no problem (???)! Amy the waitress was great she had a lot of tables to handle on her own and had nothing much to offer on the menu but she kept smiling and was very attentive. Shame she didn't have more to work with. I wouldn't mind if the chef had to comb the fields with bow and arrow to bring down the epic beasts offered for consumption but since most of it I suspect comes frozen and preprepared; it baffles me why they don't just keep more! Shame, could have been 5 star.

Service not too great as we had to wait quite a lot for the food but the beer garden and play area are great. Kids enjoyed a lot. Food is hit and miss, some dishes we tried were OK but others like the kebab were not great as the chicken was too dry.

I was away working staying very nearby so gave it a try. Had a great meal, we had the Bourbon Steak, and the crumble, which I can highly recommend. Staff were very friendly and service was really good. Pub is clean and modern with a quirky twist, over all a really good experience.

First time for us. Booked a table for six, arrived to find very few spaces in the car park but once greeted at the door was quickly escorted to our table and a waiter came to take our orders. Everything except one pudding was available but a second choice solved the issue. All the meals were excellent and arrived promptly. A good experience in all and will definitely come back again.

Bar staff was amazing very friendly happy to help really good service. Waiters and waitresses served really well very helpful and friendly The only problem was we ordered lamb shanks they were still cold and a waiter bought out 2 steaks and didn’t know wot was med/rare or well done. The medium rare was a bit over cooked But they compensated with a round of drinks They bought out the birthday cake we bought with us overall we had a lovely time

Our party of 5 were greeted at the door and from that moment we were treated like royalty. Every member of staff had a cheery smile and a hello from several . We were shown to our seats and noted how spacious the restaurant is now, after being refurbished also the delightful decor .We had everything explained to us and told that our waitress was Katie . A very pleasant young lady who spoke clearly and took our orders for drinks , which arrived in no time at all .We then ordered our meals , which were all different . They arrived soon and we were all pleased with the presentation , As i said to the manager 'Andy' when asked how our meals were , ' the chips were to die for '. Never ordering chips because of so many disappointments , i was most impressed . Then ordering our deserts 2 chose the bread and butter pudding and the other 3 chose apple and caramel tarts , delicious ! The attention to detail and our every need was catered for . We were all very impressed by the whole experience and will be returning . In fact i have booked next Saturday evening and taking 2 friends . Well done everyone that made our meal out so enjoyable .

Came for my husbands 71st birthday. Staff made you very welcome. Table was lovely. Food choice was good catering for all ages. Waiting staff very attentive, drinks and orders taken promptly, even though they were busy. Meal came quickly and on hot plates, which is always a bonus. All in All a good experience and one that will be repeated often. Well done Fields at Aylesford. Thank you.

Such attentive staff really nice, kind and polite. Place had a great feel to it and food was really good. I had fish and chips which I enjoyed. Garden is being renovated-looking forward to seeing it. Had a nice corner for the kids with wall puzzles and bead tables. Kept the kids busy in-between courses. Another cute feature was a children's book table, a lovely touch. Only issue, toilets were clean but a bit smelly, but they are toilets! Thanks for a great lunch. I will be back!

Had a great evening at The Fields. We were served by Kayleigh and she made sure we had the best time possible. She was friendly, bubbly and went along with our little jokes. Thank you for a lovely evening Kayleigh! ❤️

Asked for no red cabbage and stuffing when the cold plate of food came out an hour later it contained both I said to the waiter I asked for no red cabbage he said he would scrape it off I said I hope your not just going to scrap off the cabbage he quickly changed his tune and said oh no I’ll change the plate. When the plate came out again there were stains of red cabbage and the food was cold

First of all, at the fields at Aylesford, there is an amazing atmosphere for a family gathering. The people were so kind and friendly which made us feel comfortable. Secondly, the food is reasonable and delicious. Thirdly, there is good space for car parking. Finally, the place is kid-friendly. Totally it's a first time and an amazing experience.

Dropped in by chance, first impressions were lovely, modern decor with a romantic/homely feel. Nice smile from staff as we were shown to the table. Menu actually had me struggling to choose, not overly full, yet exciting choices. Went with the arancini which came with an amazing tomato chutney, clearly made on site. Mains I had leek and potato pie, where the green beans and mangetout were actually sweet. Mark who served us, was pleasant, friendly, knew his menu and the wines in the bar, it was a refreshing reminder of how service especially in the food industry should be done, with a menu to add the knockout. Will absolutely be back, where I’m excited to try other menu options…should mention vegetarian, with enough choice to keep me satisfied. Well done fields, please continue with your great work, see you all soon.

Went out this evening with my parents and it was incredible! I’m gluten intolerant and the allergen friendly menu is full of yummy options! I had olives to start with and there chicken and chorizo kebab 🤤 I could also eat dessert too! Recommend you go here for amazing food and a friendly experience!! We were served by a handsome guy called Mark, who went above and beyond! We shall be returning! Sophia
