I was driving along I35 with my mom headed to Kansas, and my mom randomly got excited, and took a random exit, and said check this out! It turns out this is where we were stopping. We got out to a nice friendly inviting looking building, and walked into a nice little business with friendly staff. My mom bought 3 pies. One was a Apple pie, One was Caramel Apple, and the last one was a Coconut pie. The Coconut pie one was my favorite one out of the three, but there are many other choices to try. They looked good, and tasted that much better. They have a few others things that you can buy as well such as shirts, Sweet pickles, beetes, mugs, and other things. I have never been here before, but I will be back again. It is worth the stop.

Please listen up, because I am going to give you some **very** important life advice: ~If you are driving on the interstate and EVER see a sign boasting “fried pies”— it’s a SIGN- go! Take the exit and find the fried pies, and you will be forever changed!!! A year or so ago I was driving somewhere through Georgia when I saw a sign for fried pies. I had never heard of a fried pie before, and my curiosity was peaked. I stopped, tried one, and was immediately won over. Wow, are those suckers good. Ever since, l have been searching for fried pie signs and longing to have another. It appeared destiny was with me as I drove to Texas recently, because I was given a sign. Literally, the fried pie sign! I yelled with delight and listened to my own most important advice, and found Arbuckle Mountain. This places takes the cake, or the pies I guess. This was, just plainly an awesome place. I was literally filled with glee walking up- so old school and clearly they were the pros of fried pie making. When we talked to the sweet, sweet ladies working inside, they told us their fried pie recipe is 40 years old! Yeah, I’d definitely say they’re the professionals, the elitists of the fried pie game!! We ended up getting 7 pies- it was a buy 6, get one free special which we were also bringing to share with family (as much as I would have loved to save them all for myself). And hilariously enough, my family in Dallas said they stop at Arbuckle anytime they come near OK! They agreed it’s the best and all I can say is the honest truth: you need to follow the fried pie sign and see what I mean (especially if it’s for Arbuckle Mountain)!

They have a good selection of fruit fried pies with or without ice cream. They offer a pepperoni pizza one, a Tex Mex one and others that were very tasty. In a refrigerator they offer sparkling water and cold variety of drinks. The owners couldn't be nicer and made the pies hot and fresh also other baked goods like soft and delicious chocolate chip cookies, hot chocolate bombs. Originally this was a previous Stuckeys gas station (they do not sell gas). The bathrooms couldn't have been cleaner or smelled better. They also sell some homemade crafts, coffee mugs, soap, large plywood bison, moose etc. On our visit they had Santa and carriage rides.

YUMMY!! We called in advance to place our order. They close at 5:30 pm and we were going to be there about 5:15. We ordered peach, apricot, chocolate, pecan and cherry. If you order 12, you get a 13th one for free. We couldn't wait to eat one!! I had the apricot. It was warm and delicious! My husband had a chocolate. It was gone in 4 bites! The employees are very nice. Definitely worth the stop.

We stopped there, 5 minutes before closing, but the lady being the counter still couldn’t be nicer, even offering to bake some fresh fried pies for us. We weren’t willing to allow that kind of an imposition, resorting to purchase two of the last pies she had. Without prompting, she threw in a third pie for free. The establishment couldn’t have been cuter, for a converted gas station/feed store. It’s right across from a truck stop with a semi balancing on its “head”, which is worth a stop anyway. This spot is a great place to stop for a few minutes, pick up some comfort food, see some special sights, and stretch your legs. Highly recommended for anyone in the middle of a long drive.

We tried the Chicken Broccoli, Polish Sausage, and Pizza for savories and the Chocolate, Coconut, and PB Chocolate pies for sweets. They were all delicious and very filling! Nothing like I've ever had before (we are visiting from the Northeast.)

Stopped based on Google reviews. Had a great experience with the ladies running the place. Pies were very good. Had peach, cherry, chocolate and coconut. We will stop back next time we travel that way. If only they shipped them.... do yourself a favor and stop here

The service was great but the fruit pies left something to be desired. I think they need some kind of sugar glaze on them to make him sweeter they use the same crust as they do for their meat pies and with chocolate in the pie without any sweet on the crust is a little lacking. Also they didn't have many meat pies available when we were there then you can't substitute anything because all the fillings are pre-made so you can't get them without cheese or without jalapenos or whatever which I didn't like. There homemade canned pickles and okra and stuff like that is very expensive and the quality is good. Overall it was a nice time but like I said the fruit pies and stuff need some extra sweetness on the crust. I would not go out of my way to stop there again. If I happen to be in the neighborhood I'd go in again but for me it was an hour and a half drive to get down there and I was not that impressed. Sorry

I love this place! I stop every time I'm traveling through. The pies are all amazing. I love the sweet pies, and the savory pies are all delicious. I highly recommend stopping if you're going by!

Great fried pies! They have an assortment of fillings, from chocolate or Carmel, to apple, to apricot, lemon, cherry, etc. You can eat there or, of course, take it with you. They have bottled drinks if you need and even sell some jellies and what not. We stop by often on our way to OKC. Right off the interstate. I believe the fried pies are around 5$ a pop, but they’re filled nicely and are big.

These were some of the best fried pies I have ever had. I happened to just see the sign on the hwy and decided to stop. My son had the apple, and I had the peach. They were so delicious! Wish I lived closer to get some more.

Wow! What a great stop! Hot and delicious savory pies and scrumptious sweets! They also have a a nice selection of locally made items for sale. Our favorites were the sausage and potato and the lemon. The crust is AMAZING!

Very clean place with very tasty homemade fried pies. My family goes on road-trips through this area at least once per year and I’m very positive this will be a stop every time we use I-35. Best fried pies we’ve ever had.

Stopped here on a road trip! Delicious. We tried a few flavors and loved them all. Extra props to the lemon curd! My mom is gluten free and upon the lady hearing that offered pie filling over ice cream! Perfect 👌

Hot, fresh, flaky, flavourful fried pies. The only bad part of the experience is choosing which one! Polish sausage and potato is my favorite savory pie. Trying the sweet Pecan today! YUMMY!!

Great greeting and helpful right as you walk in! Homemade pies! They also have Amish canned veggies and jellies. I got the pickled baby beets, MUST GET A JAR! Yummy! Hand made candles too!

Friendly place to stop. If you don't know what a fried pie is stop in. If you do know then you know how good these are. We got pecan, coconut, peach and pineapple. All winners. The next time we are through we are surely going to stop again.
