The astronomical society puts on such a fun event. We saw photos of Saturn and Jupiter. The telescope was so powerful we saw the rings on Saturn and ribbons of color.

Mill pond is gorgeous and fun to catch fish in. We've seen lots of birds and toads as well. It's not over run, either. The skate park and playground are nearby if the little ones get bored of the water and fishing.

02182022: nothing to see at this time of year. Looks extremely small so I don’t know how they see much in these rooms. I will revisit during summer months.

This place looks cool. Not open when I stopped by, but what a view! The star parties sound like a blast.

🐿️🐾🐾🐾🐾 I think the best time to go is one Salt Lake astronomical society has their star parties. I believe it's twice-a-month on a Saturday. When I was there last I seen hundreds of seagulls circling the lake getting ready to land to sleep for the night. We need more places like.πŸͺ

Went on a public night and there were many telescopes to have views of the moon and planets. It was a great family activity!

Great park in the heart of Stansbury! Small skate park to start small. Three rails and a couple ledges and a very small and long very but overall it's not bad for practice. Has a baseball field and a playground for the young kids. Dogs allowed and you're also able to fish here too! The observatory is open to the public on certain nights that they're open. They have three big telescopes that you can use when they have viewing nights. That park is a five but the skatepark is about a 3 out of five stars.

The director was amazing. He really made the experience special. I'll recommend this place to everyone I know. We will definitely be back.

Great little skatepark. Bowery with picnic tables and a playground. Bathrooms and drinking station to fill water bottles. The observatory is amazing....check online for stargazing shows.

We went with our young women's group to find a dark place that was close that we could star gaze. It wasn't open but we had a good time. Beautiful area by the water
