The rooms are very expensive for what they are - obviously you're paying for the convenience of staying close to the park, however the perks for that are not that great: there is no special Park entrance for hotel guests and the only perk is entering 15 minutes before non-hotel guests (along with the ~5000 other hotel guests queueing). There are also not enough seats for breakfast. The hotel can have up to 3000 guests but only seats a fraction of these meaning that you can be stranded with no breakfast options if you haven't made a reservation days in advance. Room service is limited with long wait times and limited options. Overall, this hotel feels room heavy and service poor with a hefty fee to make as much money as possible.

We had an awesome 4-day Tokyo Disney trip this Christmas. First, we stayed at Disneyland Tokyo for two nights, then at Miracosta for the next two as part of our vacation package. Booking a room at Tokyo Disneyland Hotels is a bit tricky. Reservations open exactly 3 months ahead at 11 AM Japan time, and they fill up fast – like, 15-30 minutes fast. My tip: practice booking early to make it smooth on the actual day. The room was alright, cozy with that Disney vibe, but kinda old for the hefty 600 bucks a night at Christmas. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. The cast members, even with a language gap, were always friendly and helpful. The best part was being super close to Disneyland park. It took less than 10 minutes to walk back to our room, letting us chill during the day. This was actually my second time at Tokyo Disneyland Hotel. The first stay was in a Beauty and the Beast-themed room – which was cool and on point with the theme!

Absolutely unacceptable that all the restaurants are all fully booked during our stay, our only choice is to eat in our room with room service, which didn’t have much choices on the menu. But you order through the TV which is pretty cool. Then to find out the pool needs reservation too!!! You need to line up at the pool at 8am to reserve your time slot for the day, and ¥2000/adult, the pool is tiny.

What an amazing hotel. So beautifully designed with lots of details all over. Spacious room with two beds and a sofa sleeper. The beds are firm, but comfortable. Choices of 3 pillow firmness (check closet for the firmest one). The bathroom is spacious with separate shower and toilet room. We are across the courtyard from Disneyland and the Disney monorail that takes you to Disney Seas and the train station JR line. The staff were super helpful and made checking in, getting our luggage sent up to our rooms, and helping us with questions. Overall, worth every penny or yen to stay here.

I am writing this letter to express my disappointment in the service of KATO, the receptionist at the Disneyland Hotel. I went to Disneyland with my two kids and stayed in a hotel for one night and two days. Everything was going well until my daughter's shoes blistered on her feet and we needed a Band-aid. The first staff member we met was very helpful and kindly gave us a Band-Aid. However, when we discovered that my daughter also had a blister on her other foot, we approached Kato at the bell desk for help. Kato responded impatiently and rudely, saying that if we ever needed another Band-aid, we'd have to buy it ourselves. She had a very negative attitude, like we were her problem. Because you can't argue with her with the kids around. I'm disappointed that someone like Kato can work in what should be the happiest place on earth. A simple Band-aid is an emergency item at any hotel, but especially at Disneyland, where many guests walk around all day. Kato's unhelpful and negative attitude ruined our two days at Disneyland. I hope no one else has to go through such a negative experience. I recommend that Disney Hotel management take appropriate steps to ensure that employees provide quality customer service to all guests. It is important to make Disneyland the happiest place on earth, and staff like Kato should not be allowed to ruin the positive vibe of the hotel.

Beautifully decorated public area, clean and majestic hotel. Huge and airy lobby with plenty of well appointed furniture pieces dotting the floor. Check in was quick since we've done the pre-check in and baggage drop earlier that day at the Welcome Center. Room was huge and tastefully decorated. Views were magnificent. Two minutes walk from the lobby to the Park entrance with the privilege to enter the park 15minutes earlier than non-Hotel guests.

The quality really varies depending on how full the hotel is. When it’s busy I can’t recommend staying here because it’s highly likely that you won’t get breakfast. I tried to reserve breakfast but was told that I couldn’t and to use room service. I tried to use room service only to be told that they were booked. The rooms are nice though.

Staying at Tokyo Disneyland Hotel (TDH) truly is a once in a lifetime experience. They say you get what you pay for and TDH is definitely not cheap, but if you can afford it you should skip the other hotels nearby and book here, as what you pay for is an awful lot. The service really is second to none, with staff going above and beyond so you enjoy your stay. The rooms are large, spotless and comfortable after a day at the nearby parks. The decor is breathtakingly classy, while still fitting the Disney theme. A concierge room will also let you check-in via the private sitting room, and gives you access to the exclusive bar when during its open hours and the includes buffet breakfast in the main hall. Unfortunately my words are simply not enough to convey how amazing staying at TDH is (I've been fortunate to stay 4 times now!) and I cannot recommend staying here enough to those undecided.

The only thing this hotel has going for it is location. The check in process is horrible and out dated. Everyone waits in the lobby for hours until exactly 3:00 and then you all get in line at the same time and wait for another couple hours to get your room. Unless you want to pay an early check in fee, in true Disney fashion. The food is below average and the rooms are out dated, the mattresses are small and hard. The staff is friendly but so is the staff in all the other Japanese hotels we’ve stayed at. Do yourself a favor and pass on this hotel.

Didn't stay here, too expensive, I would rather spend my money in the park. Just a quick peek at the lobby and shops, and used the lovely restroom on the lobby level. Sat in the garden facing Disneyland. Shady, beautiful location to wait for others in my group.

You can't have guests in the hotel and have no available space to feed them all. We wanted to have drinks at the lobby bar and have some nibbles, but you are not welcome without reservation. There were no spaces in any food outlet. We were forced to go outside if the resort to dine

Excellent service! We stayed three nights middle of June. Check-in was fast and easy with a prior online booking reservation. They really take pride in all the details of the stay. Stayed on the 3rd floor and very quiet with a room facing the courtyard with soft instrumental Disney music playing and the sound of the fountains until 11pm. Some Covid restrictions still in place including Bibbidi Boutique was not open, masking in all areas inside and outside, and you have to make a reservation for all restaurants in the hotel, this was easy enough through the app or website but best to do this prior to your arrival to ensure you get a reservation because everything was booked when we were there. Beautiful hotel, great bell service that brought our bags to the room and took them downstairs when we checked out. Disney Monorail is easily accessed from this hotel, Disneyland is just outside the back door more or less. Restaurants and convenience store located in the hotel which was very nice. It is expensive but we stayed here for the experience and were not disappointed.

I was privileged to stay a night at the corner park view room (7th floor) on a weekend with my family, and everything was perfect! We could see the Cinderella castle and Disney sea from our room so the fireworks looked amazing in the evening. The hotel is literally a second walk from the Disney land that’s also a great point to stay here. If you love Disney, you won’t regret staying here. We’d like to come back!

Absolutely stunning hotel! We had an amazing view from our room, everything was very clean and the amenities you could take home are so cute! Breakfast wasn’t really my cup of tea but overall amazing. They also had a small supermarket within the hotel. If you are a pin collector, don’t forget to get the exclusive hotel pin at the gift store! Tips: Book breakfast well in advance if you want it.

Loved the stay here in a character room. The family pajamas are very cute. Outside of the hotel and lobby there was no pool or playground area for kids. They are very strict with check in and check out times. There’s a huge check in line right at check in time which you would think could be more efficient with some sort of mobile check in system. Close to a mall you can walk to.

Had a jumping spider in the mad hatter hat lamp. There is a shopping center a 5 minute walk from the hotel with several restaurants in case the hotel restaurants are fully booked. I could here the people in the upstairs room running around until late the night we stayed. Beds are hard and uncomfortable, only bearable to sleep on with the blanket used as a mattress cover.

We had our daughter booked in for the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique makeover experience. The staff were exceptional, friendly, professional and just wonderful, they made the experience.

Amazing hotel. Rooms look incredible and clean. Food is delicious with restaurants on site. If you stay at this hotel, you get to enter the Disney parks earlier than the opening times.

Staying at the hotel came with the perk of 'Happy Entry,' allowing early park access. The hotel room was clean with reasonably good amenities, yet considering the price paid, these were basic standards. I must highlight a disappointing experience with the hotel breakfast. Despite reserving two months in advance for a 7:30 am slot, we encountered an extensive queue; by 8 am, we were still waiting with no progress. No explanations were provided, and we were advised to queue like everyone else. What's the point of making reservations if waiting is inevitable? Additionally, the restaurant staff had limited or no proficiency in English, which was unexpected for a purported 5-star hotel. It's reasonable to expect some level of English proficiency in such establishments.

Best hotel to stay in for the superior Disney experience. Staff were amazing and so helpful and kind. Hotel was impeccable. Absolutely hands down the best hotel we've stayed in.

It was a great experience, very fun but also crowded and humid when we visited. The park was clean and well maintained. Using the app made planning the day easier. You need to spend a whole day here to experience it all so come rested and right when they open.

In the rooms of the hotel you can not open the windows more then 10cm. No air in the rooms. Rooms worn out. Hotel is too expensive for what it offers. No fitness room in 5 star hotel. We checked in and could not reserve a breakfast after 7am as everything is booked. Bad service. No fitness. No adult pool.

A great addition to the Tokyo Disneyland Resort, with very kind and helpful staff. Our room is amazing...we love it. Disney certainly thought out everything when designing this hotel. Several shops and restaurants within the hotel, but a little expensive. Free wifi and room service available, along with other amenities. Highly recommended!!!

It's only for a lobby lounge. Service is sooo slow, waited a lot for a dessert ; asked for the second time to bring the bill - they didn’t even turn to me.

Very nice hotel. Actually roomy, very roomy, for Japan. We had the 4 beds hotel room and it was plenty of space for 2 adults and 2 teens. Very convenient for visiting the Disney resort.

I can't book with this hotel. I tried several times on their website but it's just not working. I think it's unbelievable that a hotel like this has a website this bad anno 2023.

Fantastic stay overall. We did not try breakfast. The biggest downside is this hotel has the slowest internet of any hotel I've stayed in recent memory. Average speed is 1 - 4 Mbps every day for the 3 days we stayed here (perhaps it's just my room). It's not a big deal for us as we are on vacation but it was a surprise nonetheless. The early 15 minutes park access before general public makes the high price more palatable.

Beautiful hotel as part of the Tokyo Disney Resort, with great location right by Tokyo Disneyland or short monorail ride away from Tokyo DisneySea. The room was very nice and a good size for Tokyo standards. The breakfast buffet had a good assortment, but the overall convenience of being right by the parks and in the theming makes this an magical experience.

The hotel looked very beautiful and their vanity set was amazing especially their shampoo, conditioner, and body wash it smelled amazing. The conditioner instantly detangled my hair. The room was elegantly themed. The park view was also amazing. It is worth the money.

Absolutely stunning hotel. Our room was so nice, clean, and had plenty of space for 4 adults. The alcove and pull out beds were comfortable. The view of Disneyland was beautiful. Being so close to Disneyland and the monorail station is a huge plus. The service was amazing. The staff were always there to help with any of our needs. Even with the language barrier, we had no problems and felt the disney magic. I wish there was a quick service food place in the hotel, because all the dining choices in the hotel are full service restaurants. Ikspiari was the closest place to get a quick bite. The only disappointing part of our stay was that a lot of amenities/benefits were not avaliable due to covid. Notably, the early park admission for hotel guests was suspended.

Great hotel, great staff, great location. The wife and daughter loved the room and after all the time spent in the park, this was the perfect little place to stay after. If I were to return, I'd stay here again for sure!!!

We had a great time in both Disneyland and the hotel. Check in was a bit of a wait but they had plenty of counters open. Service wise - cannot fault anything. If you are heading to Narita after Disneyland, they even send your luggage directly to the bus stop.

Walking distance to Disneyland and train, the room is okay. The only thing that made me unsatisfied is the breakfast! I went to the hotel to check-in in the morning, I was told by the counter that the key to the room is available at 4.30pm, which was not a problem for me as I was going to Disneyland. After playing that night, I went back to the hotel counter to get the room key then I asked about the breakfast time. Only then did I realize that because I didn't make an early reservation for breakfast, the next day's breakfast time was already full! Why didn't the counter tell me or ask me about the breakfast reservation when I checked-in in the morning?!

A traditional hotel which unfortunately has not met up with the times and needs of guests. We needed to print a document and asked the reception for help. They said that there wasn’t any printer available and asked us to travel to the nearby Hilton hotel for help. How weird! Also do be careful if you arrive early than the check in time as they do not provide early check in services, which is odd for a five star hotel. We arrived at 1 plus in the afternoon pretty fatigued by the , and was asked to wait in the lobby till 3pm before we were allowed to queue to check in. And as we everyone was asked to queue at 3pm, it was a horrendously long queue. We only managed to check in around 4pm, which was really a bummer.

Got to stay in this hotel for free! Another major perk of my job. I love that they have everything you need in the room. Visited the park several times but this was my first time staying at the hotel. Would like to take my family here one day!😇

Beautiful building. Double room with Alcove was perfect for 3 adults. Trundle bed available would have accommodated 4. We had one 6' man and (2) 5' 4" women in our party. Double beds might be hard for two adults to share depending on size. No iron available.

  • 2/5 Boon Keat C. 1 year ago on Google
There was no breakfast option for hotel customers. The TV is a pathetic size for a 5 star hotel in the year 2022. The bed sheets are not clean enough. Cost of a night’s stay is too expensive and certainly not worth it given the above reasons.

Great location with happy entry pass and a convenient store. Less than 5 minutes walk from hotel to Disneyland.
