Followed trip advisor review, food was fantastic. lamb tacos were standout. Prawns in Brandy a must try. Argentinian waiter was a star. Would highly recommend. 5 stars.

Last week we stayed at an apartment right next to this little place so visited twice as it was utterly delicious! Tapas with a modern, unique take. The best, freshest ingredients and things you wouldn’t expect to see on a typical tapas menu. My highlights were the hake tacos, the bao buns and the squid and pork jowl main! My goodness I can’t stop thinking of these now we are back home! This little gem of a place is ALWAYS busy so get there early and be prepared to wait… but definitely do wait!!! Go here for sure, you will love it! All of the staff are lovely, smiley and kind. They were superb! A place, a meal we won’t forget x

What an incredible place! Everything we order was amazing and the presentation was beautiful. The service was great and the food was excellent. We had langonstino, ceviche, canelon and tacos. It is definitely my top 3 favourite places in Tossa (would dare to say number one!) incredible, couldn’t recommend enough

As vegetarians, we went there on recommendation and while on first glance it seemed to not have much, we couldn’t eat another thing! And my partner, who admits quality food is her weakness, couldn’t stop saying “wow!”. Amazing service, they even taught us a few words and finished the night off with a local aperitif with us (although I’m sure this isn’t something to be expected). Well worth a reservation be it vegan, vegetarian or full meat eater. :) so great! In fact, so great I forgot to take photos besides this one..

We ate here twice during our time in Tossa de Mar because it’s that good! 😊 The food is delicious, service is friendly and relaxed, and the vibe is so good. Everything we had was delicious but I especially loved the salad of the day and the lamb. We will come back when we’re back in Tossa.

INCREDIBLE FOOD HOLY COW I loved every dish so much that I was licking the plate. I ate half the dessert before I could finish but this corn cake was so good and also the plating was beautiful. Loved how fresh every ingredient tasted, refreshing after lots of fried food.

Super cute restaurant, the service was impeccable. The waitress came to our table and took the time to explain the menu and what she would recommend for us to order. She did that for all of the customers - really nice!! The food was amazing. We had one dish which was with cocoa, leeks, orange and sweet potato. Vey interesting combination, nevertheless we didn’t like it much, but that’s just personal taste. Therefore 5 stars because everything else was just perfect 🥰

Great tapas & dining experience. Exquisite service but cosy ambiance at the same time. I went there twice during my stay in Tossa and would come again. The menu is full of taste, traditional but with a modern fusion twist. Amazing pistachio crema catalana and great choice of sweet wines.

Excellent, from start to finish. Their menu consists of classic tapas, signature tapas, and mains that are designed for sharing. We went for the signature tapas and a main. There was hardly any talking at the table whilst we went into food heaven, too busy devouring and savouring each bite. Everything we tried was imaginatively concocted, perfectly prepared and superbly presented, all backed up with an excellent front of house. Jordi our waiter was a delight, friendly, well informed of all the dishes, proud to be working at Tapas Portal and a great representative of the restaurant. We’re just gutted that the first time we caught them they were about to close for the winter season … but we’ll be back next season!

Exquisite, Exceptional, Original Dining Experience. We waited outside the restaurant at 7.25pm. We were the first to arrive before opening. Before we knew it, there was a que behind us. We chose the table outside with a lovely view of the quaint side street. We asked for a glass of red wine. The waiter asked if we wanted light, medium or full bodied. We chose medium and the wine was delicious. My wife ordered the beef cheek and I ordered tapas of potatas bravas, lamb tacos,artichokes & chard & mushroom tempura. Well... it was absolutely exquisite. Every dish was beautiful, fresh and out of this world. The best potatas bravas. So scrumptious. The beef cheek. Amazing. The artichokes. Fresh, zingy and interesting. The lamb tacos are a particular highlight of a meal full of highlights. The single best tacos I've ever had and I adore tacos. Everything was perfect. Charming service too. The best meal we've had in ages. I'll be thinking about those tacos for a long time.

Great tapas, mains, deserts and atmosphere. Highly recommended and will keep coming back. Food was delicious. Good quality and interesting.

We love the vibe there, especially those ‘always dancing and smiling staffs. The foods were super delicious and special, we can feel the creative part of them. Really worthy to go!

We were a few days in Tossa and enjoyed eating here a lot! We went back for a second time that week. Very friendly people, excellent food with surprising combinations. If you can, make a reservation so you can eat upstairs, with a great view over Tossa.

This place is next level. No joke. 5+ stars. Every item we ordered was exotic, dynamic, and unlike most cuisine you can find in Barcelona or Tossa de Mar. It feels way more experimental and unique. We had the leeks, tuna, bao, lobster sandwich, tomato bread (some of the best bread ever, we ordered again after finishing it), and the dessert which I forget the name of (has Guiaba in the description). Coffee was delicious too.

Fabulous tapas in this lovely restaurant. Staff were friendly and so helpful taking time to explain the menu and making recommendations on portions per person. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. A little more expensive than the norm but so well worth it. I went back a second time. Recommend making a reservation.

Finally a tapas place with a mixture of regular ones and others with a twist! Fresh ingredients, flavoursome dishes. I highly recommend the ceviche and the artichokes, the lamb and cod were also delicious. We absolutely enjoyed every taste. Best restaurant I have been in Tossa! Highly recommended!

Super good value for the price, 3 different vegan options and also super tasty and interesting ones. Glass of orange wine was only 4.5 and as well very tasty. Really cute vibes and good service, definitely recommend. Stands out from other more basic touristy spots!
