The restaurant is located within the medieval part of the town, with nice scenery of the walls and the city. It is not on the seafront but it has a nice view of the old city of Tossa de Mar tiny streets. Very nice food Great location Nice wine list with local wines Friendly staff and nice atmosphere Catalan cuisine at its best.

Highly recommend, La Placeta offers good food, nicely served in a cozy and cool atmosphere. Although the dishes are not exactly Spanish specific, they are seafood centric and good enough but a tad pricey. Worth visiting!

The food was very nice. me and my friend got the lunch menu for 25 euros and it was very nice. I especially liked the fish with pesto sauce, which I don’t remember the exact name. Our friend who is vegetarian couldn’t find an option for her in the lunch menu so she got something a la carte. In general we enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. The service was very helpful and correct.

One of the best food and service experiences I ever had. The staff was very aware and super friendly. The portions were big and satisfying. The location next to the old castle was also nice. Would definitely recommend this place.

Amazing service and perfectly prepared food. One guest in our party has celiac and Vanessa the manager was very careful to make sure she knew her GF options. Highly recommend. Came back again for dinner and we are in awe. I tasted my friend’s mussels with marinara and it was unbelievable. I got the roasted vegetables with romesco sauce and it was perfectly prepared. I don’t usually go to the same restaurant twice while traveling, but this place is perfection. We asked for a plate of fruit (not on the menu) for our kids and they accommodated!

This restaurant has a daily menu even at the weekend. It's currently 23€, without wine but it's well worth it because the quality of the food is excellent. The terrace outside is nice, next to the castle walls in Tossa. But the decor and lighting inside makes that just as good alternative. Highly recommended.

I went here last night with my partner, our little one and my friends after we booked a table and we had a really nice evening! Food was really great and at very reasonable price comparing with some other restaurants we have been! Vegetable tempura, sepia and camembert salad with iberico ham was absolutely delicious! We also has the sirloin which was really nice also. The manager was always superb since the day before when I went there to book a table untill the end of our dinner! She helped us choose the right dishes and she was always very professional and attentive! Thanks for making us having a memorable night! Highly recommended!

The place is beautiful. Is inside de historic place near de castle in Tossa de mar. The terrace is beautiful and very cozy. We had the black rice, the entrecôte with mushroom sauce and the grilled octopus. All the plates had a nice size and were really tasty. The black rice is a little bit salty but we really liked it. Desserts we had the chocolate coulant and the tiramisu and both were good. It was a really nice experience and the service was really friendly.

We stayed in Tossa de Mar for a week, and even though we wanted to try as many different restaurants as possible, we had to go back for a second dinner at La Placeta on our last evening.

Nice food, nice location and ambience with reasonable price. Most of the places if you order paella they serve at least for two people, but here they server also for one, and very good price and fresh. The paella in my pic is only about 18eur

Excellent restaurant in the atmospheric walls of the "old town" of Tossa de Mar. Food and service was exceptional, the starter of Catalan bread was a DIY delight and the Cim i Tomba was substantial and very enjoyable. Great Crema Catalana too.

Grilled seafood was awesome- especially the selection of prawns and shrimps. Also, great paella. Grilled octopus leg was a little dry and too chewy, so it's not recommended.

Dropped in with what I thought was a reservation - but my reservation was for another La Placeta in another town!. They were super cool and got us a table anyway, and I’m really happy they did. The seafood platter was terrific, the grilled octopus tender and tasty, and the squid ink paella was to die for. Bravo to the chef and the front of house was excellent.

Food was unexpected good. Menu( incl. starter, main course and dessert till 15 O’clock) has a quite reasonable price, or even cheap considering the location.

Hidden at the bottom of the castle of Tossa de Mar is this modern restaurant. Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff and perfect value for money. A great mix grill.

It's was really nice - actually we had dinner and went back for lunch the next day. The lady manager is very efficient - the waiters were more summer students who lacked proper training. But we were on a holiday - so no rush at all. Food was good- some Veggie options too- good wine list - prices very competitive- they could easily jack up the wine prices by 15% and no one would notice. Overall very nice experience and I look forward to going back there when I am in Tossa.
