If I have ever given a 5* review for a sushi place, you got to bet its a way above class in terms of quality and price. Lucky for you, this is one of them. Oh my, the sushi here is amazing considering its a conveyor sushi belt style. I have not had one that I did not like and every single plate was good on its own. Queue was long when I got here. About 20 people ahead but got in within 20min because the place was huge and turn over was quick. If you are ever in Shibuya, this is the sushi place you wanna be!!!

I had high expectations for this place, but was unfortunately let down. Pretty much filled with 90% tourists, which is usually a red flag. The quality of the sushi was ok, but no better than most budget sushi I've had. There were a few good pieces that stood out, mainly the scallop & flounder. The workers looked over worked & slightly ticked off as if they were disgusted at their patrons. Would honestly not recommend.

Agreed with most of the positive reviewers here, I can see why new ppl still lining up despite the already long Q until the back of the corridor where you can't even see the front of the restaurant. Hands down the best kaiten sushi we've ever had and affordable too. Very welcoming service, they waitress even let us place our shopping bags in front of the cashier counter. Excellent quality sushi, generous cuts. Love the salmon avocado gunkan, tobikko, crab liver, salmon roe, tamago, flying fish, hokkai gunkan, fresh young sardines, abalone shashimi, fatty tuna, fatty salmon and squid. Thank you for the meal.

As it’s a famous restaurant, there were long lines, and the queue system proved quite troublesome. Instead of a written queue, customers simply occupied seats in front of the store. I experienced confusion when the family behind me quickly moved their seats ahead of me as the queue progressed, wondering why they were able to bypass it in this manner. Also, the staff wasn't exceptionally helpful to solve this problem. The advantage is they did speak English proficiently, likely due to many of them being foreigners. I went there alone, I felt cramped in my seating arrangement due to the interruption of other customers. It appeared that the personal space for each customer was smaller compared to other conveyor belt sushi stores. As for the taste, I felt that some dishes were overly salty, but others were quite enjoyable. Overall, the quality of the food was quite nice.

We had a late lunch here today. The staff speaks very little English but everyone orders thru the iPad! Service is quick and delivered by the conveyor belt in front of you and make sure you press the red flashing light after you take your food! The seared salmon is nice, the simmered abalone was very sweet and tender but made a mistake of ordering two fried cab leg that wasn’t what I thought it would be. I felt it was difficult to eat! We ate double what we did at the Solamachi Mall and was 250 Yen more, but the quality and flavor at the Solamachi place was better! The fatty diced fatty tuna was pre made and store in the fridge until someone orders, so a bit cold and flavorless! Also the wasabi wasn’t freshly made but from a package that isn’t powdered! No reason to go out of your to come here for sushi unless your in the area! Pepper & Morris

This is the top conveyor sushi place in Shibuya we found in maps and and didn’t disappoint. As expected, there is a line which took us about 30 minutes. Quite fast really. Well-priced selection, good sushi place atmosphere with the conveyor continuously rolling, and delicious food. The only turn off is this one server whom we requested drinking water. She gave this uninviting stare as we bill out. But overall, I can recommend this place and eat here again definitely.

If you want a step up from the normal cheap ¥100 conveyor belt sushi, this is the one to go to! The nigiri here is a step up in both size and freshness but without the nigh price tag. This is a +1 star for the price! 4 of us ate 22 plates and it was just under ¥5,700. There is usually a long line but it move pretty quickly as it's a big restaurant and there are many seats in there. Won't hesitate to come back again to satisfy our sushi addiction.

Start of by saying the quality and quantity of the food is great. This is a very popular place and that's not just because of its location; however that popularity has its downsides. There seems to be a constant line and your experience will depend entirely on where you sit. If you're later on the conveyor path, your only options will be dregs left behind by everyone else. This means you'll have to order off the menu, but there is only one track for delivery of direct orders, which means you'll be waiting a while for your order. What makes matters worse is you're limited to 4 dishes per order. I recommend asking to be seated later if you're being led to the back corner with the hangers and door to the kitchen. Seared dishes are fantastic. The menu has English and a QR code for allergens. You can also order less rice per piece.

Hands down the best kaiten sushi we had in Tokyo (out of 4 places total) Fish was excellent quality and generous cuts. Their otoro was so rich and melty - incredible for the price. Fatty salmon portion was very generous and delicious. A must try if you are in the area! We waited about 25 minutes at 12 on a Tuesday - when we left at around 1 - the line had doubled !! Note this is located on the eighth floor of the Seibu department store !

I heard good things about this place. Tried it, and it was pretty meh. Like we are in Japan, so my expectations are adjusted accordingly. I was not impressed by any of their food. I want to be clear, their sushi was not bad. But it was just so average and not memorable.

I went at 11:45am on a rainy weekday so no queue. You may order through a tablet and also can choose different languages to display. The seafood is fresh and tasty. You can also pick a smaller portion for sushi rice. I like the fish soup best!

I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a sushi restaurant with a mid-range price and high quality. Even though I am usually not a fan of sushi such as scallop, shrimp, or unusual fish varieties, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed everything here. The sushi is incredibly fresh and of top-notch quality, and the taste is something that I couldn't find back home. You can place your order on a tablet, which also comes with an English language option. The interface is very user-friendly and easy to navigate. What's even better is that you can choose whether or not to have wasabi on each sushi order. This level of customization is a big plus for someone like me who has specific preferences. Having tried other sushi chains in Japan before, I can confidently say that this place is definitely on the better side in terms of both quality and overall experience. Moreover, it's worth mentioning that you can often find many locals dining here, which is a testament to the restaurant's reputation and the quality of their food.

Mawashi Sushi Katsu at Seibu Shibuya offers a delightful kaiten sushi dining experience with its fun conveyor belt system, delivering sushi directly to the diners. They execute well on most of their sushi, with generous thick cut slices of fish on a simple but we'll formed rice that holds together decently. Although the toro tuna was a bit of a let down due to its miserly portion compared to other options. The popular crab miso soup was unavailable during my visit, but the anago sushi made up for it with its large, creamy servings. The sardine sushi, a more budget-friendly option, pleasantly surprised with its simple yet delicious flavor, enhanced by a touch of oil and salt. The restaurant's popularity does lead to perpetual long queues (30mins this round), but the overall experience, including the enjoyment of having sushi delivered via the conveyor belt, is well worth any potential wait.

Came a little bit early (10:50 am) to line up for their 11 am opening, and there was already a line! We were able to make it in, the sushi were fresh, lots of options. The staff were super welcoming as well, love the ambience and the price is unbeatable.

Great food and a fun experience. Alot of options to choose from and it’s in a convenient location plus a lot of seating space to avoid long lines except in the evening. Just didn’t give 5 stars since we got a broken glass to drink from and we had a salmon roll not come to us but they gave it once we told them again! Overall great!

Very bad experience. When I got my order with long waitting, a foreign staff just take my plate to another table with no excuse. I ask for the reason, she said their 90mins eating time already finish. Afther 30 seconds, she take others order (with wrong items)to me , and ask me accept. NO, I reject this awful sercice.

The sushi here was good. The cuts are thick and the quality was nice as well. A bit expensive compared to other kaiten sushi places. They had the plastic dividers in the counter seating area for prevention of covid and the staff was wearing masks as well which is appreciated. They still do the loud greeting cheers when customers come and go. Would be better if they stopped that during covid cause even with masks on it's a risk.

Came here for a weekday lunch. If you're looking at the Starbucks/Tsutaya building, the Seibu building is behind it on the right side. A sign when you enter tells you what floor the restaurants are on, and then when you get off at the right floor there's a map of where the shops are. There were about 5 people ahead of me in line, but it went quickly. Really cool experience! I was at the counter. You just take whatever comes by and stack your plates as you finish. You can order some special things on tablet, but I was cool just taking whatever came by. When you're done, you ask a waiter for your check and they scan your plates and give you a receipt that you take to the cashier in the corner to actually pay.

It’s an okay sushi train chain store, much better quality sushi trains in the Shibuya area, for example the sushi train stores in Hikarie or Parco! There was almost no one in the store and yet it took quite a while for the sushi to be made as well as the staff to count my plates…

Conveyor belt & tablet order sushi. Amazing variety. The hand rolls are actually super duper good. Only a short wait. In Seibu mall. 90 min seating. Worth it.

The nonseafood dishes were so tasty!!! The staff was so professional and super friendly which made the experience that much more enjoyable. I look forward to coming back and having the same if not a better experience than this time. The tablet menu is a great feature that goes along great with the conveyor belt transporting the vast amount of amazing drinks and food.

Great quality sushi train. Everything we had was delicious and fresh. Service was great but allowed a little longer wait time for the food to come because it's made fresh to order. The waiting time around 3-4pm was about 10mins. Pricing was decent (130-650yen). Overall a great experience and would recommend.

Very nice sushi 🍣 Sushis come on Shinkansen conveyor belt 🚄 Prices are normal for the quality ! There is some English speaking staff but even without, it’s easy to order with the tab 👍🏼 At dinning hour, it’s really crowded so you might have to wait but if you don’t mind, that worth it.

Went there today, it was a super sunny Saturday afternoon. On the same floor, no other restaurant had a queue, no other restaurant even seem to have any customers from outside. Only this place had a queue. Me and my friend waited for 30minutes to get in. The sushi was great. I ordered white wine, and it came with a Japanese tradition which was pretty cool!

It's one of my favorite conveyorbelt sushi restaurants I've come across. Reasonable prices, good service, high-quality sushi, and healthy serving sizes. The pictures will speak to that.

  • 5/5 Clara 4 years ago on Google
You won’t be disappointed here. The sushi is fresh. Request for bar seats so that you can see the chef making sushi in front of you. No queue at around 1.30pm. Will definitely come back again when I’m in Tokyo!

The sushi you expect: good stuff for a long wait. Don’t trust the google wait times, because there’s always a long cue. We had to wait for 45 minutes. But, honestly, it’s worth the waiting. The sushi is incredible and the staff friendly. You don’t feel any rush - as other popular places do... Just go for it. (Oh and hey, learn some basic Japanese when you enter this place...)

Very good quality for 回転寿司 especially so conveniently in Shibuya. Lots of options and all very tasty, unlike some other chain stores. Avoid getting uni though; that was the only bad one... Everything else was great! Would come back again.

I recommend ordering sushi and watching the really cute shinkansen bring you your dishes! The food was really good. Be prepared to wait outside the restaurant if you come during peak hours. Thankfully they have a huge line of chairs outside of the restaurant for you to sit on while you wait.

Katsumidori was my favourite restaurant the last time I visited Tokyo and it still is now. Of conveyer belt sushi restaurant, it is definitely the best I have tried. If going before the restaurant opens, the wait is usually not too long. However if you go once it has already opened, be prepared to wait a bit in line. The fish quality is good, and price is not too high. They also have a big variety of foods to choose from. Each seat has an iPad so you can order the specific pieces you want. You can also choose pieces that are on rotation. Their green tea is self serve so feel free to get as much as you want! Something nice about this place is that you can also choose a half rice portion so you can enjoy more fish without feeling super full. My favourite dish is their flounder niigiri. They also have foot long eel niigiri too, which is very impressive to see in person.

The food was pretty good and easy to order if you don’t speak Japanese, but I was hoping they would use the conventional belt more as it only served to deliver a few ingredients to the chefs who then just handed you the food

  • 4/5 Jay H. 2 years ago on Google
Nice Sushi go-round, good quality food, and reasonably priced. Would have given five stars but, we showed around 7:40pm and they stopped taking orders at 8:00pm and did not inform us of this. We took our time placing our orders and did not get to order as much as we would have liked too.

  • 1/5 Zeynep . 2 years ago on Google
The wait tome was long even thought it was not crowded, no one bothered to come out and explain the wait time or anything. I usually have no problem with food but it just wasn’t good or worth the price in my opinion. Also probably due to covid19 there was no revolving sishi it was order only.

  • 5/5 Danny R. 5 years ago on Google
Absolutely fantastic sushi. This restaurant was recommended by a local for affordable and high quality sushi. We had to wait about 35 minutes before being seated. Don't be surprised if there is a big line to be seated, but it moves quickly. We sat at the sushi bar in front of the conveyor belt. You can grab what you like from the conveyor belt or you can put in orders directly to the sushi chefs. Watching the sushi chefs prepare food is a special treat. Prices are designated by the color of the small plates. The sushi selection and quality were outstanding. I eat sushi often and this was some of the best I've had. We ate until we were both full for about $30 USD. Excellent value. I will return on my next visit and I would highly recommend to others.

First of all, shocked by the long queuing, but decided to wait anyway turnes out its not too long, just 10 minutes wait and four of us in. Had a lovely meal and great experience. Ps : they don't provide spoon

We came here for dinner on my friend’s advice. The service is not really fast and we had to wait really long time for some sushi dishes. The eel sushi never arrived… The food was ok, but no so good as my friend told me… what a pitty

  • 5/5 Michael C. 1 year ago on Google
Well worth the wait. Yes, it’s likely you will need to wait on the chairs outside. It’s on level 8 of the building. Order on the ipad, and then the items come out on the train ontop of the normal train. Cheap, but excellent food.

  • 1/5 Alisa S. 1 year ago on Google
For the location, I expected better. Fish obviously barely defrosted and tastes fishy rather than fresh, promoted gunkans way overseasoned, rice falls apart at the slightest touch. Never had dry, stiff otoro before but I guess there's a first for everything. I stopped ordering before I was full because it didn't seem worth it to keep being disappointed. Next time, I'll go to one of the other kaitens tucked into the side streets nearby for cheaper prices, better quality, and friendlier service.
