My initial visit was very thorough in order to get photos of my entire mouth to determine the condition of my teeth and what needed attention. They have all the latest technology along with the incredibly skilled staff to offer top notch dental services. Customer service is certainly top of mind with all staff. I have absolute confidence in Dr. Sims and his team. Your oral health is their top priority.

We brought our son to Century Stone Dental for a tongue tie clip. From our first contact on the phone with Lauryn we had incredible service. She talked us through the entire process and booked an appointment for us with Dr. Sims. When we arrived for the appointment, we met with Lauryn again who was top notch in person as well and generous with her time and care. Dr. Sims was great as well - efficient and transparent with the tongue tie procedure. Every aspect of our experience at Century Stone Dental was truly a modern dentistry experience. I would strongly recommend Century Stone Dental to anyone looking for a dentist in Hamilton and especially to parents looking for a dentist to take care of a tongue tie clip for their child.

Let me start with the positives: I love that Century Stone Dental has such a wide range of time available for appointments. It makes it easier to be able to come for the dentist even when my schedule is busy. I haven't seen any other places with these many options, and I love this place for that. They also do a good job with the dentist/cleaning work. Now, the reason why I deducted two stars: I'm speaking for myself here, but I feel like they are often pushy offering additional services and products and sometimes they do additional work without checking if my plan covers it or not. I explain that I can do what my plan covers for now and will consider their suggestions but not sure if I can afford out of pocket at the moment, and they seem upset about it and continue being persistent (more x-rays, more visits, more procedures, braces etc.). I like to learn and know everything about my teeth health, and I want to continue having that valuable knowledge. It's just the pushy selling part that upsets me. And also, not checking if my plan covers certain expenses beforehand. I had an amazing dentist and dentist office before (different city, far) where they would check everything beforehand and would provide suggestions but would understand if I could not proceed with their suggestion at the moment. They would work with me on alternative options to try and keep the teeth healthy in the meantime and go above and beyond, be super friendly and offer amazing customer service for everything including resolving any glitches or issues with my health plan. I could be rest assured they would take care of me and help me in the best way possible and tailored to my personal situation.

We had such a great experience getting our newborn son’s tongue tie taken care of by Lauryn and Dr. Sims! The procedure was quick, the staff were so friendly, and Lauryn made us feel comfortable about the procedure and really took her time explaining everything to us so we weren’t overwhelmed. Dr. Sims is one of the friendliest around and the support offered during the after care process has been comforting! Great experience all around.

A friend of mine recommended we see Dr Sims for my baby's tongue and lip ties after we were told they need to be released. With such great reviews and fair pricing, we came from downtown Toronto. Working with Lauryn and Dr Sims was wonderful. They were extremely informative, patient and helpful. The procedure was very quick and they had everything set up to make the baby comfortable before, during and after. The follow up was wonderful too. To be honest I was very nervous going to a new dentist after the passing of my previous one (40+ years). I heard people saying very good things about Century Stone Dental and the online reviews reflected that. My first visit was a cleaning and it was very thorough. On my second visit I had two root canals with crowns done on the same day (truly remarkable). This work was all totally painless (I’m a bit of a baby). The technology used is cutting edge. The CSD team are very polite, professional, empathetic and humorous. CSD are tightly knit and work well together, they truly enjoy what they are doing. Please see for yourself. We had a great experience here. Lauryn is fantastic! She spent a lot of time with me, asking questions about my son and his feeding habits regarding his tongue and lip tie. She did a thorough assessment with my son and I in clinic before any procedure was done. I felt confident my son was in good care and receiving proper treatment. The procedure was quick and so far effective. Dr. Sims and his team offer great support in continuing the stretches and exercises required to ensure my son receives the full benefits of the correction. They provide a very calming environment to help parents like myself navigate this type of issue with a little more ease and understanding!

Our midwife referred us to Century Stone Dental for our one week old newborn to get her tongue tie released. They didn’t have any availability until almost one week later but Lauryn was SO kind and understanding during our phone consult and understood that we didn’t want to wait that long as we were having latching issues. She came in early on a Monday morning so she could fit us in. Lauryn was even nicer when we met her in person. She went through everything VERY thoroughly before the release and answered all of our questions and concerns. She then assessed our baby and confirmed that she has a tongue tie and also noticed a lip tie as well. We had no idea about the lip tie! She then brought Dr. Sims in and he was amazing. He had the same assessment and recommended the tongue and lip tie release. They do it immediately in the room, and it took less than 30 seconds to do both. Dr. Sims then watches you do the stretches to confirm you are doing it properly! We were then able to nurse her in the room, and stay in there as long as needed. Looking forward for the follow up appointment to ensure that it is healing properly. I would recommend them to everyone!

Beyond thankful for Dr. Sims and Lauryn. When I realized my newly adopted 9 month old daughter had a tongue tie, I called a few places for an assessment. Most places said they were booking appointments two months out. I could not accept that long of a wait. I came across Century Stone and made another call. Lauryn personally walked me through all the details I needed to know and then asked if I could come in the next business day for an assessment. I literally said, “no way!” She laughed. I drove in from Niagara. I found a parking spot for my 12 seater right at the location. Was greeted and taken in right away. Lauryn talked me through the procedure and everything I would have to do for the six weeks following AND everything I could expect after that was normal that I might think was abnormal. So helpful. A lot of those words definitely carried me through the unknown while at home alone. Then a few days later Dr. Sims personally messaged to check in on us. The reception to the clinic was excellent. The follow up calls and SMS after the procedure is admirable. Fair price. Great explanation on what is expected of you as a parent post release of tie. I can’t say enough about this business and Dr Sims - the receptionists are so kind and helpful, getting us in within a few days of birth.
