😠 I ordered a $50 Rib eye medium rare. Waited 30 minutes for the steak to come. And unfortunately they made it well done and the meat was so dry that I couldn’t even finish it. On top of that some of the side vegetables were burnt. People often mention good, great, service, drinks, chicken, ordered, steak, friendly, staff, delicious,

Second time coming to this location, came late on a Friday night. The appetizer we got was an amazing tuna dish and tasted spectacular. The Alfredo chicken pasta main was made well and was tasty, but the tuna poke bowl, had tuna that tasted very bitter. This was very disappointing, so we sent it back and instead got 7oz steak and requested medium rare, but we got rare, and it was fairly raw (picture included). Pretty disappointed considering it’s a really popular downtown location and last time it was decent. The service is great, but the food definitely has its good days and bad.

This restaurant is more to go have a good time with friends, have a couple of drinks and enjoy. The food was ok, personally not impressed, the drinks are weak and “pitcher” small, though it’s preferable to order the sangria pitcher instead of the glass, comes cheaper and gives you two glasses full. Not a kids friendly environment, thus if you just want to hang out with friends, I would most likely recommend this restaurant. Despite that, the place is clean, the staff of friendly, though service may take long. Be prepared to wait.

Went for supper with my kids and a friend as we were looking for somewhere to eat that had no wait. The fried calamari was amazing, the main courses were good but not out of this world. I would go back but I would not get out of my way to do so. The staff is super friendly and very accommodating !

Lovely place with a lovely seating and good service. I went there with my friends. We ordered the nachos and drinks and were there for around 2 hours and no one bothered us about ordering more or leaving. They also welcomes our customization in nachos which I was very much surprised about. Also, we wanted a warm lemon water which was not in the menu and they very well took care of our request. I would definitely visit again to try more food.

First off, great customer service!! the nicest hostess and the waiter hands down!! we are out of town and made us feel welcomed throughout the night. Second, the food was amazing! i was literally stuffed after everything. Finally, it was my husband’s birthday and they served a little dessert with happy birthday on it and he was surprised!! thank you so much for the kindness and for the great food.

We were seated at a partial out door spot. JR was our server/bartender and he throughly assisted my wife in making her red wine choice. A++ Ordered Amber Ale and a 9 oz red wine (once the choice was made). We ordered the mango chicken and a half rack of ribs. Both dishes arrived and were well portioned and delicious. A large shout out to JR for an outstanding dining experience. Thanks again.

If you're looking for a great spot to grab some food and drinks in the area, then I would highly recommend checking out Moxie's Restaurant. This is my go-to spot for both business lunches and after-work drinks, and it has never disappointed. The first thing you'll notice upon entering is that the place is usually packed with a great crowd, which really adds to the ambiance. The bar area is very large and can accommodate plenty of seating, and there are big TV screens throughout the space, making it a great spot to catch up on the latest sports events while enjoying a drink or two. If you prefer to dine, the dining area is equally spacious and can accommodate large groups or more intimate gatherings. I've never had an issue finding a seat, which is always a plus. The service at Moxie's is always top-notch, with friendly and attentive servers who are happy to help with anything you need. The drinks are always expertly prepared and I've never been disappointed with my order. Whether you prefer classic cocktails or something a bit more creative, they have it all. But what about the food, you ask? Well, Moxie's serves up contemporary western cuisine that should satisfy any taste. They have a variety of options, from classic burgers to fresh salads, as well as a great selection of appetizers to start off your meal. And if you're in the mood for something sweet, their dessert options won't disappoint. Overall, I highly recommend Moxie's Restaurant as a great spot for food and drinks. The atmosphere is lively and the service is top-notch, making it a great choice for both casual outings and more formal events. The drinks are always expertly made and the food is delicious, with something for everyone. So why not give it a try? You won't be disappointed!

Good vibe and friendly service. Just got their sticky toffee pudding for dessert and it was good. Not very sweet and the large one can suffice for 3. The cake is soft and moist and the toffee sauce is warm and comforting.

Full marks for the super competitive daily Happy Hour, Half price wine Wednesdays and the ability to always get a table here even if it's last minute (a very underrated perk for Toronto restaurants)!! In addition the drinks/cocktail menu is extensive as is the food menu. My favourites are definitely the sushi stack and the Chips and Guac! This place is underrated.

This locations is fairly large I have never had issues getting a table. The Ambiance is always lovely, low dim lighting, intimate seating & the patio is also very nice all year long. Onto the food, the BTS Crispy Chicken Sandwich. It was absolutely delicious paired with the Louisiana hot sauce. The chicken was indeed crispy and flavorful. The chicken on bed of pilaf with avacado. A little bland but filling My go to dessert is always the white chocolate brownie. The warm brownie with the cold ice cream is perfectly decadent.

The ambience is ok....lighting a bit too dark but I guess its meant to look intimate...Food is good but service can be slow depending on what going on behind the scenes (kitchen)....The drinks came fast..but the food took a bit longer than we expected..( the kitchen staff was a bit heavy handed on salting those fries..wow!) Our main server Emily was fantastic!... but I guess the kitchen staff needs to catch up to her....sorry 😞

Very relaxed vibes. Has that fancy yet casual element to it. The service is mediocre, not very attentive. Complimentary guac was very good but didn't come with enough chips. The shrimp tacos were good as well, but they do have quite a kick to them. If you're like me and can't handle the heat, I would suggest ordering something else. The shrimp on its own was very good though. The burger was okay, have had better. The fries were 10/10! Overall, a very cute spot for lunch before the Blue Jays game!

The food at Moxies is one of the best I have had the entire week. The portion sizes are great and the food is extremely well seasoned. Besides everything they have the best / well dressed Ceaser salad I have ever had. The waitress was really kind to suggest the alternatives to rice portions. Dishes recommended are: chicken and ribs, lemon basil salmon steak, Caesar salad.

Christmas gathering for work and I ordered the Rib Eye from the menu. Ribeye itself wasn’t as great as I expected since the meat itself was chewy and it was quite fat.. I had about 1/4 wasted on the dish… unfortunately and it was cad$48. Dessert wise.. there were the brownies and key lime pie, I think the best was the ice cream and the brownie should be shared as it was gigantic. There are more choices in the area or maybe I should have chosen other dishes for lunch.

I had the cashew chicken lettuce wraps. Perfect if you are not looking for a heavy dinner. Iceberg lettuce is perfectly crispy. The only thing I would say is add more cashews as I am a nut lover. But good taste and the crispy wontons elevated it . Yummy Server Jada is awesomeness:)

Absolutely loved my experience at Moxies. Fresh ingredients and flavourful dishes. Great variety in their menu from different cuisines. I loved roasted tomatoes and whipped feta as the dish was really refreshing and balanced taste. Tiny tuna tacos were delicious too. Their lime cheesecake was awesome dessert with balanced sweetness. I have to say the staff did great job of serving us as we were group of 14 people with different orders.

Service is good and friendly, atmosphere is too blend to make you comfortable (just a bit better than the corporate caffetteria or hospital restaurant). Food is decent but nothing memorable. Well no, I stand corrected, the Purine Gravy Pizza is totally unforgettable - perhaps not in a good way, btw I would totally order it only if you share it.

Popped in for a late lunch, we were seated quickly by the friendly staff. Our server Nathan was so engaging, and his suggestions were perfect. The new smoky old fashioned is beautifully presented and was a great take on thr classic cocktail. Thanks so much!

Absolutely delicious! We went for valentines and have a lovely time! Our server was great, she recommended a really good wine (1/2 price bottles on Wednesdays just FYI!) And she gave us the right amount of attention. It wasn't too busy either or at least it didn't feel that way as it didn't take too long for our food to arrive. I knocked a star off the atmosphere because the music is just too loud for my tastes.. if I have to shout for someone to hear me that's sat across me at a small table, it puts me off.. but all in all, it was a great experience and we will go again.

We went for lunch during the workday. Our food came quick, it was excellent, but a bit overpriced. The place was very busy but not too loud. Great spot for a nice lunch during the day. I got the tofu lettuce wraps, and my friends liked what they got as well.

Reserved our table a week ahead online and when we arrived we were told that our table wasn't ready and we would have to wait till the table finished ordering dessert. 4 other tables were seated first. Only after 10 minutes of waiting did another waitress ask if we were okay and moved tables around so that we could get seated. We ordered appetizers and drinks but never recieved the app. Dinner came and the food was fantastic only we didn't get proper cutlery to enjoy the soup. The waitress came back when our food was finished and charged us for the app. We wanted to have another round and dessert but decided it best we leave.

I had high expectations for this place, having visited different branches with excellent service. I hope the management takes note of this review and strives for service improvement. The restaurant's ambiance is indeed inviting, accentuated by the green artificial plants on the walls, which provide a pleasing interior touch. Our orders and ratings were as follows: Calamari: 5/10 Regrettably, it was neither warm nor hot, and the calamari was disappointingly chewy. Cashew Chicken Lettuce Wrap: 10/10 The lettuce was refreshingly crisp, and the combination of cashew chicken with lettuce was spot-on. Chipotle Mango Chicken: 10/10 A must-try; this dish stood out with its delightful blend of vegetables, rice, and chicken. However, there was a hiccup with our request for no butter. Chicken Alfredo: 4/10 Sadly, this dish was dry and fell short of our expectations, considering the difficulty of going wrong with Alfredo sauce. Lemon Basil Salmon: 10/10 A highlight of the meal; the salmon was beautifully juicy and delicious. I had anticipated a superior experience from Moxies. Unfortunately, this branch did not live up to the drive it took to get there. It's evident that server training is needed, particularly in terms of demeanor. The lack of a smile and an unusual question regarding extra forks left us questioning the service. Overall, our experience was less than satisfactory.

I loved this place. My Man and I went here after CN tower gave us a no show for being 30mins late sad. It was my birthday so we Gave Moxies a try and we loveddd it. Expect for the Minosa drink that drink killed us in 1 taste 0/10 sorry. We had ro request for something else cause gosh.... Aside that the food was so good we loved it.

Everything else was booked so came here for a quick bite after a busy day doing the tourist stuff. The place is very clean and the staff is attentive. The price is reasonable too considering where they are located. Highly recommended. Our server Johny took very good care of us.

I think most people that come here work in downtown Toronto, and I'm guessing come for business/work meals. I don't see any other reason to be coming to Moxies when there's so many other restaurants in a walking distance. But a lot of those restaurants aren't open until 5pm, so Moxies does offer that over the others. I did come for a work lunch with my team, and we had around 16 people. The service was good when we first arrived, they were good with taking our order and noticing when people came late. I actually had never been to a Moxies before this, but the menu was standard and what I expected. It will definitely have something for everyone. I ordered the steak frites ($34) after careful deliberation with myself. Something I really liked was that they brought out everyone's meal at the same time, and relatively quickly. Some restaurants cannot even do this with a party of 4. Now, this is when it went a bit downhill for me - I did not enjoy my steak. First off, it was the thickest and stubbiest cut of meat I've ever had a restaurant. I can imagine that this would be a challenge to cook, which it seemed like it was. My steak was so red that it was practically moo-ing. I asked for medium rare, and I generally like it more on the red side, but this was too much even for me. I typically don't send my steaks back so I did not, so I will say that I did not give them the chance to correct it (which they could have). I also did not like the chimichurri. I felt like it added nothing to the flavour of the beef, which would have been fine on its own. My coworkers seemed to enjoy their meals, except the salmon which was an unusual shade of pink. Maybe it also needed a few seconds longer on the grill. Overall, I would not come back again unless it was for a similar work function as the food is just not up to par.

This location is excellent. Atmosphere is very unusual for a Moxies but great. I had thr vegan black bean tacos and they were flavorful and delicious. The key lime pie was topped with whipped cream infused with chopped pistachios. We hope to be back.

Came here around 10pm for their late night happy hour on Saturday. Fries and dry ribs were all nicely seasoned, no complaints. I enjoyed my white peach bellini as well. Friendly service!

Cool place to chill out and share a couple of drinks. I like the location and their customer service. We tried another place nearby and were told to wait for at least 25 minutes while seeing many empty tables in the patio right in front of us so we came here and appreciated to be seated right away. Just a bit more than an hour with beer and nachos and my client and I came away satisfied :) Recommend!!!

I really love this place. The service is excellent, as every time. But I was unpleasantly surprised to found out that you have changed the preparation of Chipotle Mango Chicken. The garnish is now completely different! This is was my favourite dish before, I came to your place especially for this, but I think that it was the last time 😔😢 In the attachment pictures from the last year and from this June.

I normally don’t like chain restaurants but this location in particular is pretty good. I come here sometimes after work with some friends because we love their drink menu as well as the fun atmosphere at certain hours. Some of the foods are pretty good too but nothing spectacular. The servers are usually really kind to us as well.

We came here later in the night for their happy hour and the $6 classic margarita was a steal and a big big hit. We got truffle Parm fries and shrimp tacos - both really good. Our waitress Breanna was fantastic and attentive. Overall, a laid back atmosphere because we got here late. Can't wait to come back when it's a busy day and try more of their cocktails.

I've been to several different locations. Food is consistent throughout. Service was alright. Wasn't the most comfortable place to be. Seats were uncomfortable. Flooring was not suitable for stools. Poor lighting in the corner we were at.

My cousin and I went here today and I must say what we ordered was seasoned nicely, tasted great but the food wasn't as hot as we thought it should be coming from the kitchen. Manager apologized and was very nice to accommodate the issue. The drinks were amazing. You can literally taste the alcohol and not watered down. We decided to go in and tip the bartender.

Came here because Earls was jam packed. This place is super spacious and has a very nice ambiance to it. A nice place to grab drinks with coworkers or friends or go on a date. I will say it is a bit too dark imo, so for people who have trouble seeing/reading, be sure to bring glasses or use your phone flashlight to read the menu. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Unfortunately I discovered a hair in my food but the manager came by and saw this and rectified it immediately and was so apologetic. That did not deter my experience at all, in fact it made it better.

We went on a sunday around lunch time. Service was good and the food was good also. It was not busy at all so we did not wait long for our food nor appetizers. We sat outside and enjoyed the 5$ mimosa they offered. The restaurant was clean same thing for the washroom( very clean). The decor was nice and simple. I had the fried calamari and also the ribs and mashed potatoes. My friend had the dumpling as an appetizer and the rib-eye steak and my other friend had the soup of the day and chicken Alfredo. I liked my dish the ribs were a little too wet for my liking but it was overall good. Mashed potatoes was great!!! Just was not a fan of the mix of calamari with shrimp i would have prefered calamari only. My friend loved her steak it was juicy cooked to perfection and she enjoyed the mashed also. The one who had the chicken alfredo liked it. Overall i will recommend this restaurant. Service 4.5/5 Food 4/5 Experience 5/5

One of the best bars in Toronto. We went there a couple times so far for late night outing on the weekends, and did takeout a couple of times as well. The ambience is really nice and staff are friendly. We really like their Nachos and Calamari, very tasty. Also the cream of mushroom soup is delightful. They also have nice mocktails.

👍 Good food as always! Convenient. Kids friendly. One star less because in the men’s washrooms there is no arrangement for baby diapers change. I managed it somehow but for a single dad with baby it is not convenient. I hope management would put up something to resolve it. Thank you.
