What a food! What a vibe! What a service! And my best joy was to seat upstairs and watch the kitchen. The buns are two bite size but the balance of the tastes and the softness of a bun itself worth it! The pork soup is thick and rich in flavors, the spicy chicken noodles are not so spicy so give it a try. The only one I was maybe skipping is the chocolate ice-cream. Just nothing special about it.

A must visit place for Noodle lovers. We visited this restaurant for lunch. Ordered scallion noodles with Katsu, and sesame noodles with shrimp bun. The food is tasty and the quality is top-notch. Standing ovation for the shrimp bun and Katsu chicken preparation. It was so damn good that we ended up ordering it multiple times. One extra star for the food presentation 🤩. Negative points for the upstairs floor ambiance, which is way different than the ground floor arrangement. Desserts are limited and of average quality !! Going to visit again for ramen noodles 😊

My love for shrimp has no bounds - enjoy it with the super soft buns. And if all salads could come with fries in it, I would eat them more often. Spent one of the best rainy afternoon there. Definitely recommend

We had our event here and we are glad we were able to finally host it at the venue. The private room was just perfect for our group size. The service, bartenders, and servers were AMAZING! The food was really good and filling it was a great evening that we were able to host. Sad to see this restaurant close this week but we were lucky to experience it. Everyone just loved the evening! Thank you!

Service was nice and friendly and the hostess made the effort to seat us even though we didn't have reservation. The ambiance and set up of the location is nice, so with that respect I give it 4-1/2 ⭐️ out of 5. As for the food, the quality was of noodles in the ramen was quite nice, good texture. Broth was a bit heavy, over powering in some respect. The steamed buns were fresh and soft, the pork belly was the only one that stood out for me. Portion wise could've been bigger for that price. And as nice as the soft serve ice cream was, it was served very sloppy, all melted messy. But the chocolate was rich and creamy while the yuzu soft serve was refreshing but again so sloppy and and presentation was disappointing, inconsistent in portion size. At $7 an ice cream, it shouldn't look like it's coming out of a run down McD ice cream machine.

It was good. Not great, nothing special or memorable. Cocktails were ok, but again nothing special or inspired. The yuzu soda came in a regular water glass and didn’t taste like it had any gin in it. Pretty bland. The El Diablito was ok as well. Had a lady grey which had a nice balance of flavours. Food service was disjointed and too fast, got ramen 2 mins after ordering. Noodles dish came a minute later and a few minutes later the steam buns came. Felt like they were rushing to get people out. The food was really good. The pumpkin ramen was unique and delicious. The pork belly steak bun was perfectly cooked. The extremely spicy noodles fell flat, didn’t have much flavour or uniqueness past being spicy. Not sure I’ll be coming back, maybe just for the steam buns.

I been here many many times and I love it…. But I found a little bit disappointed this time. My last visit was before Covid…. the extremely spicy sauce was so yummy, I always order it on the side and add it into my Raman broth. This time I found the extremely spicy sauce is not spicy anymore….. and the cabbage taste not as fresh as before.

The menu offers an incredible mix of dishes. The buns are soft and fresh with expertly selected fillings. The noodle dishes are each very different while offering that same freshness. No matter what you order you'll have a great meal. The peach ale is phenomenal and paired nicely with everything!

Ordered a mazeman with katsu addition, pork ramen and the Bao. Prices of the Bao seem too inflated now. The pork ramen was very plain shoyu, nothing special. The mazeman was clumpy and the noodles were too snappy, very hard to chew, let alone slurp. Service is very good though. I'd come here for drinks and ambience but not the food.

I am not very hard to please. I love food, and think most places have tasty food. My favorite food in the world is Ramen. I hated Momofuku. I am not exaggerating when I say this place has the worst Ramen in Toronto. I was really shocked at the excuse for ramen they served me. I wouldn't even send my enemy here. The broth of the Tonkotsu ramen was just appalling. The ramen noodles were worse than store bought noodles. Everything else in the bowl was so disappointing I don't even remember what the heck I ate. The only redeeming factor was the pork belly, which was itself horrible. Avoid this place. It's a waste of time and money.

We had an excellent time tonight, the appetizers were delicious and so were the tsukemen and extra spicy noodle mains. Our server Lisa was absolutely wonderful, very attentive and went above and beyond to make sure we had a delicious meal.

The food at Momofuku Stackt is amazing!! They switch up the menu every now and then but the pork bun is always around. Recently, I’ve been a couple of times to this pop-up and the quality is consistent. It’s like tapa style so the bun is a piece per order, the spring rolls is two piece per order. Make sure you ask before you place an order to avoid disappointment. The bill definitely adds up if you add alcohol to it as it’s not cheap! Sit at the patio where there is some kind of shade otherwise you’ll burn and get dehydrated after sitting for half an hour. Staff here is also friendly and quick to their feet! Appreciate the waiter who kept filling our cups with water given it was a very hot day.

We've been meaning to go for years and finally made it happen. What a great experience! The food was excellent. From the steam buns (omg - the Pork Belly Bun!) to the ramen to the mazemen and everything in between - absolutely delicious!! You also have to try the Red Dragon Rice Cakes from the Etc. menu - like a beautiful gnocchi with a crisp outside, and the bibim sauce - damn. Service was excellent - Peter was awesome and very helpful. I highly recommend reservations.

Food was all right. I think it was better in New York. The service was okay but the ambience could have been better. The seats were a little bit uncomfortable and pretty cramped. The cookies that you can buy to go is exactly what other reviewers are saying. They are just a walk-in Fridge

Lunch. One last time. I’ve been a regular of Momofuku over the years and when I read the news that they will be closing their doors permanently on December 23rd, I had visit this place one last time. In my opinion, this place offers the best Ramen and noodles in the city. The pork and shrimp buns are a great appetizer and a shared soft ice cream from Christina Tosi’s Milk Bar is a great way to finish off the meal. The place does not have the bustling vibe that it once had however, the quality of the food is great, the prices are reasonable, Post COVID conditions and the service was both friendly and efficient. I’m going to miss this place. Well worth a visit before they close.

I’ve gone to Momofuku twice and their vegetarian options do not disappoint! I especially love the red dragon rice cakes. The sauce is so tasty and there’s a bit of crunch to the rice cakes, a nice texture add on to the chewiness. The eggplant katsu bun is also a favorite of mine! The shiitake bun and ginger scallion noodles are good and I recommend them as well. Both times I’ve went, my friends got the pork ramen. They seemed a bit unsatisfied with it and said my dishes were better. One said that it may be because it tastes like they use a soy sauce based broth for the pork ramen, which was a bit salty for the both of them. Overall, love the layout of the place and service is great here too! Make reservations if you can since they can get quite busy. I recommend checking Momofuku out before they permanently close on December 23rd.

Delicious food, friendly staff, clean and good atmosphere. Small menu, which technically helps focus on consistent quality food. Decently priced for what you're there for. Lot of focus on craft brews which was nice! Support local! Will return again for sure.

Had the spicy cold noodles with wagyu sausages and a side of pickled mushrooms. The noodles were not spicy so this was my only small disappointment. The food was absolutely delicious. The highlight for me was their original strawberry-rosewater soda. By far the best soda I had in my life.

It was a good idea to reserve ahead of time, because the place was packed! The staff were friendly and helpful, but I think they need more servers because there was a bit of a wait for someone to come around and take my order. The noodles and broth were great, although I didn't find myself enjoying the chicken as much as I expected. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and worth the try.

Amazing food. I tried the pork Ramen and my friend had the Ginger Scallion Noodles with chicken and both were out of this world! We’re already booked for dinner. Have to try more food before leaving Toronto tomorrow!

I could not have been more blown away by my experience at Momofuku. The food surpassed any expectations that I had - outstanding flavours, presentation and perfect portion sizes. I got to sit at the bar and watch the chefs prepare the food - everyone was professional and cooked like pros! Thank you to the friendly staff for providing such amazing service. I cannot wait to go back again!

Amazing ramen! I’ve been to several Momofuku locations, most recently the Toronto one. Even though there was a bit of a wait, the food was worth it! I would eat their ramen everyday if I could. A must-try!

It was ok. Got a couple buns, rice cakes, chicken ramen, and spicy noodles. Honestly the dishes were one-dimensional and generally underwhelming. Hope to return and try Kojin and Milk bar when they re-open. Staff were extremely friendly and courteous!

Great service and good food. I do feel like the pork ramen is not what it used to be. The broth is not as rich and flavorful. I think they might change the recipe either from time to time or from one location to the next. Either way, this one is good, but not nearly as good as I remember having in NYC. Still a good bowl of ramen and we had a nice evening.

Undoubtedly one of my highlight meals of 2022. I’m going to miss this place big time once it closes at the end of December. Great big bold flavours and the absolute OG broth of Toronto ramen. Just really well executed dishes and a nice casual vibe in the restaurant.

The soft buns were surprisingly good. I believe this place offers fusion rather than original taste of ramen. But I think Momofuku will become my top-of-mind option whenever I think about ramen. Also, this is the first time I tried Mazemen (Ramen without soup), quite intriguing :) Definitely recommend and will come back for sure.

Very good service our waiter was named Peter. Food came out quickly. The yuzu lemonade was tasty, kinda pine needle flavoured. I got the Szechuan pepper noodles, more Italian flavoured than Asian. But still good, reminded my of a carbonara. The price wasn’t too bad it is located in a touristy are. If you’re planning on going, come soon because they’re closing permanently in December.

Our cocktail and beer were great, I ordered the 'directors cut' and my wife had a peach ale. I enjoyed the baos as well. They did take a half hour to review. I found the ramen broth a little bland. I'm used to richer bone broth. I think the noodles without broth are the way to go as I enjoyed my wife's noodles+mushroom more. (She was kind to share) What irked me about the overall experience and brings my rating to a 3 is the following interaction. The cereal milk ice cream seemed like an afterthought in the service. It's added to the bill and made by the hostess on your way out, but apparently we hadn't paid for the 'crunch coating' which nobody had asked us about. It's frustrating to be asked to pay an additional $1.70 for this topping in after I had already settled the bill. Next time I would suggest they ask patrons when they order if they'd like this topping, or include it for free. This interaction was an unpleasant way to end our experience at the Noodle Bar.

Ok so I quite literally flew from Ottawa to Toronto to order take out here (well I had to travel for work anyway but this was a bonus). I ordered Super Spicy Noodles, Shiitake bun, and Pork bun. The food was absolutely delightful. It’s on the pricier end but I would say it’s worth it as a treat. The noodles are the only thing keeping it from 5 stars. They were not that spicy…but it could be my tolerance level. Other than that the flavours are wonderfully balanced. Pork bun- I could eat my body weight in these. They are the single tastiest item on the menu. I will gladly eat here again.

The food was good but a little underwhelming from what I've heard about the resturant. But it was still very good. I didn't like the rice cakes because they had a sour flavor, but other people in my group did. The noodles were good but not as good as I expected. The pork noodles were better then the chicken ones also!! Though the pork buns were really good and I would definitely recommend it. The servers were great and the atmosphere was nice.

Had an amazing meal here. Everything was delicious but the standouts were the steamed buns and the kroketts. (Not sure about the spelling!) Service was great, venue was cool, and the food was amazing

  • 4/5 Matthew C. 1 year ago on Google
Service was attentive and friendly. The chicken steam bun was delicious however the ramen was just mediocre compared to other spots in the city. Best part of the meal was the house made sauce for the buns - simply delicious providing a mix of spicy and sweet!

  • 5/5 Sarah 2 years ago on Google
Flavourful and fun. Great ambience, we were seated on the upper level and had a nice view of the room below. We ordered the fried brussel sprouts as an app which were rich with flavour, crispy, with a hint of sweetness. We also tried the shrimp steamed buns, fluffy and tasty and a decent portion size. We also both ordered the ginger scallion noodles with chicken katsu. The noodles were served with pickled mushrooms, cucumbers, and seaweed and the portion was substantial. Each dish was flavourful in it's own way and portion sizes were generous. Definitely worth a try if you haven't been there!

Ordered: rice cake dish and the BO SSAM. I recently checked and it seems like the fried rice cake dish is not there at the moment but it was so good!!! The BO SSAM was exquisite but it was so big for me so we definitely had tons of leftovers!

Came here as a party of one as I was in town for work. The buns are delicious and the ramen had a wonderful light and flavourful broth. Their drinks were well crafted, but their Ume Rokku is a Japanese inspired Old Fashioned, which was amazing.

  • 3/5 henry K. 2 years ago on Google
It is overrated restaurant. I know it is very popular but the menu is very expensive and the seat is not comfortable to compare the price of meal.

  • 4/5 Ixchel Medina H. 2 years ago on Google
Walk, don't run. The buns and the Korokke were really good. Particularly the shrimp Bun, which basically has a shrimp patty- yum! Both noodle dishes were good but didn't blow us away. The korokke had a really interesting combination of textures.

  • 2/5 Kate B. 2 years ago on Google
Really had high hopes for this spot. We chose to come here on a special occasion because we all love ramen, but pretty much everything we ate was a let down. For $18, the pork ramen had a thin, gravy-tasting broth, a watery poached egg, and a bit of green onion. One piece of pork belly. For the same price, there are dozens of other Toronto ramen places that have way more complex flavours and better toppings. It’s a shame, but save your money and go elsewhere. This place feels like a gimmick.

Hands down the best noodle bar/ ramen place in Toronto. I used to go there frequently for lunches but haven’t been since the pandemic/lock down and I’m so happy the food and quality is still super tasty and excellent. The service was beyond outstanding, they squeezed us in even though it was a busy Friday and even upgraded us to a table when we mentioned the high chairs were a bit uncomfortable. We appreciate the staff checking in on us and being super hospitable. Thank you momofuko for making our night a memorable one.

  • 3/5 Ben N. 1 year ago on Google
It's ok, not that great imo. But look, the pictures look great! The noodles are slightly eggy for my tasting. I think it's mainly the bar and atmosphere. If you want ramen, this is probably not the place. Their self serve icecream is really good though.

  • 4/5 JC 2 years ago on Google
Honestly, the pork ramen was sub par. Broth was not as good as I’d expect. The pork bun however amazing, and their soft serve ice cream, S TIER. Server was amazing also
