I went to this Keg location today and experienced first-hand the kind of racism you hear about at some restaurant establishments. They will never be overtly racist, but they will screen customers at the front desk and lie about seating availability. They lied about insufficient seating, and I could clearly see numerous empty seats. They lied about not taking walk-ins, and I literally stood outside and watched white customers walk in without reservations and be seated. It felt unreal, like a scene from the 1950s. I decided to leave a review about the restaurant, and around one hour later, I saw another brand new Google review written by an Asian customer echoing the same experience on the exact same night. UPDATE I received a phone call the following morning from the general manager (Alex) and I am extremely grateful for his empathy and apology. I accepted his apology, and I was pleasantly surprised that I received a call from anyone at all. He invited me to visit the location to meet him in person and give them a chance to make things right, and I accepted his invitation. I was just looking for a bit of care and compassion towards my feelings and experience, and I feel that Alex gave me that. I feel much better now. I'm adding a star to my review because of his sincere effort.

I've been to the Keg Mansion and I liked this location in comparison. It's big and modern. There was lots of seating but a reservation is always wise. We had a great server with such detailed attention. Because it was my husband's first time at the keg, he got a free dessert. The food was delicious. The steaks were juicy and great quality. I had the lobster and steak. It was very filling. Everything from the appetizers to the dessert was great quality. The meal was affordable and they made it special as we were celebrating. I'd certainly come back here and I recommend it for people's first time at the Keg.

Had an AMAZING dinner here with a good friend of mine last night. Got a reservation and were seated immediately. Our server (unfortunately forgot their name) was amazing and friendly. Had the amazing calamari as appetizer, the steak and shrimp for dinner, and then to finish off an amazing mile high chocolate cake for dessert. Will definitely come back here again.

The Keg is always a solid choice if you're in the mood for steak, and this was no exception. Both steaks we ordered were delicious and done exactly to the levels we wanted. The sides, while nothing super unique, were also very tasty. In particular the double baked potatoe with bacon bits was delicious. Service was good and our experience overall was excellent.

We had a big table and ordered a lot of food and wine. One of our steak was not cooked to the standard. A bit disappointing. But overall we enjoyed our time there.

Been coming at this location for years. Had dinner again tonight with friends and received great service from Jaime. Food was amazing as always. I think this is the best steakhouse within reasonable price and the best bang for the buck! Highly recommended.

Excellent service, great ambience, good food. This is our second time here within a month. We had the fillet mignon and top sirloin the first time from the Dinner Menu. They were so good. Especially the fillet mignon. Also ordered a bottle of wine. This time, we ordered from the Snacks and Drinks Menu. Margarita was great. Salty and delicious. Steak frites was really good too. Escargot was good. So was the calamari. The calamari was huge! Love that it was mixed with jalapenos and red capsicum. Mussels were good too but too salty this time. For two people, the bill (including HST and 20% tip) came up to $112. Fairly reasonable! Overall a great experience. We will be back!

The place is huge and very well zoned , everyone can find a spot for themselves to enjoy either romantic diner or just a meet up like us . Waitress was very accommodating and knowledgeable about the menu items. She provides us with some good insights. Overall it was a nice evening, definitely will be back there.

We went to the Keg to celebrate our last dinner of 2021. It was a wonderful experience. Service was unbelievable, they treated us very good, they we super friendly. Food was good, well served and very tasty. The place is pleasant and comfortable. We enjoy a lot our visit there.

Affordable steakhouse. Service is so friendly- 10/10. The steak is also great. Your steak does come with some vegetables garnish, so you don’t need to order the the Keg classic if you just want some greens but don’t necessarily want a salad. Millie cake is an ice cream cake - portion is huge- order this if you are thinking of sharing among 2-4 people 🥹🥺 Will definitely come back! Very enjoyable experience!

I’ve explored nearly all of Toronto’s Keg restaurants, with my last visit to Jarvis dating back 3 years. Our meal began with a white sangria starter, which unfortunately didn’t suit our taste. For the main course, I opted for the Prime Rib, while my wife chose the steak sandwich. My Prime Rib was average and didn’t particularly impress me. However, the steak sandwich surprised us; it was among the tastiest dishes I’ve had at The Keg in nearly a decade. The restaurant’s interior design felt outdated and subpar, with poorly arranged tables. Given my experience, I don’t foresee returning for another 3 years.

We went there to celebrate our 10th year and their attitude from beginning to end was amazing. They really take care of us and also they offer us a cake for our celebration and it was deliciously good. I really recommend this place to enjoy the good food and beautiful atmosphere.

What a great experience. Our waiter was attentive and quick. The food was great like always. Both steaks were cooked just how we asked for. This is a location I would come back to.

The waiters were very nice and attentive. Steak was cooked to correct temperature and tasted great. Atmosphere is very nice with the level of lighting and no outside noise. Def recommend (even had my birthday dinner here with my SO)

Fantastic stake house! Delicious plates, very nice ambiance and lovely personnel! We celebrated mothers day and I felt really special, they even gave us the dessert as a present! Highly recommended!!

Phenomenal steakhouse experience on an early Saturday evening. I have paid much more for much worse steaks and steakhouse experiences; this Keg location had both fantastic service and food. Recommend the 20oz rib steak (pictured), and also filet mignon or prime rib.

It was first time trying steak and while conveying this to the waiter he took extra effort to explain me everything from the texture to taste he helped me decide the best for me which was incredible. The ambiance was definitely really awesome and staff were super friendly. Would definitely recommend especially if you are going to try for very first time.

Celebrated my anniversary at The Keg on Yonge and WOW the location is stunning. We asked for a romantic spot in the restaurant, and it was definitely delivered. Food was fantastic. It was one of the first times I actually danced in my seat while eating steak and lobster because every bite had so much flavour. Definitely check out this location if you want a great dining experience and are willing to spend a bit. I will definitely go back in the future!

I recently spent New Year’s Eve at this location. Our experience was great, the server was nice and efficient. Our dishes were tasty and the wine selection is pretty good. Our server forgot to add a lobster tail to one of our mains, he was quick to bring it once he noticed and he also discounted it at the time to pay, which was such a great move on their end. We’ve been to a couple of Kegs and we really like it. I would say that I think their dessert menu could be a lot better in terms of options and overall tastiness. I wish they had wider and yummier selection of desserts.

Really great location, food & service. The Keg Burger was a bit greasy but a good choice, especially for Happy Hour. Note for those coming for happy hour, it's only available at the lounge seating, not regular dining. Make your server aware before getting a table assigned.

We came to celebrate my graduation and the experience was amazing. The food was great, steaks and cocktails were incredible and our server, Megan H, gave us the best service making our night magical. Thank you so much!!! We will definitely come back

Came here for Valentine’s Day (10pm reservation) and everything was perfect ☺️ Super nice waiter for our service with good recommendations and lots of smiles! I got the Valentine’s Day special (bacon-wrapped steak aka filet mignon with garlic mash - my FAV and Caesar to start), so good! 🤤. My bf got the peppercorn steak and baked potato which he really enjoyed too. We also had the espresso martinis 🍸 (my first time) and it might just be my new fav drink lol. Definitely recommend coming here for any special occasion 👌🏽 Ps. Ladies the bathroom is nice for a little photo-op 😂

From seating to service to food quality.. 5 stars. I've never seen so many smiling staff anywhere in my life. Our server, Shae, was EXCEPTIONAL. Very pleased overall! Recommend and will definitely return!

The food was excellent, and the service was initially not too bad either. However, during the evening, our server dropped the ball. Not sure if they were short-staffed, but the whole experience during a birthday party was below what I had seen and came to expect from the KEG. When we saw our server drop the ball on the desert, they brought our cake out for the birthday but didn’t come to ask if anyone else wanted dessert, and when they did, it was 45 minutes after everyone had finished their plates. Especially being there with kids, those 45 minutes felt extremely long. In the end, they didn’t take any dessert since they had waited for so long and we pressed them not to take a dessert. Finally, we decided to go elsewhere. Additionally, we had to ask for a kid's menu, again something we weren’t used to from the Keg; we usually get it immediately. Refilling the water took forever, and the cherry on top was that we had to look for our server to pay our bill. Cold-heartedly we still left a decent dip; however it was not deserved.

Always a great time at the keg! We had exceptional service on our dinner date at this location 🙂. Our server was really helpful picking out meals for us despite it being really busy on the day. Tried the teriyaki sirloin steak which was juicy and tender! Had a white sangria, which I've never tried and was amazing 😍. 10/10. Incase you go on a weekend or busy night, it's best to make a reservation so as to avoid the wait as this location is busy.

My recent visit to this Toronto steakhouse was a delight for the senses. The steak and onion soup was simply exquisite and stands out as one of the best dishes I've tasted in the city. The cozy and intimate ambiance made it the perfect setting for a romantic date night, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. However, I did notice a slight issue with the restaurant's aroma. While the smell of cooking meat was certainly present, there was also an underlying odor that was slightly bothersome. This could be something that the restaurant might want to address in order to provide the best experience for its patrons. Overall, this steakhouse is definitely a must-visit for any foodie in Toronto. The delicious food and romantic atmosphere make for a truly unforgettable dining experience. With some minor improvements, this place could easily become one of the best restaurants in the city.

Amazing vibe and great place to celebrate special occasions. Servers are friendly and helpful in selecting the dishes. Escargot and the steaks are amazing and the steaks are better than most restaurants. Do make a reservation before visiting. Reservation at the dinner tables are until 9 pm but the seating around the bar is open until 11 pm.

I came to The Keg with my friends. They didn't have the prime ribs, so I ordered the Baseball Top Sirloin classic (at medium rare) which came with the Iceberg Wedge (the giant lettuce). We were able to pick different accompaniments when ordering our steak and sirloin. I picked the baked potato with bacon bits. I thought the baseball top sirloin was flavourful, it was thick and juicy. At medium rare, it was slightly brown towards the outside and very pink at the center.

We celebrated my mothers birthday tonight at Keg. We ordered the french onion soup as an Appetizer and it was great. After that we ordered the blackened chicken which was very delicious and the new york steak. The meat was extremely tender, juicy and flavorful. The meals came with sides and everything was great even the mushrooms and the mashed potato. Everything was amazing and they made tonight very special for us. The service was fast and nice, the place was calm and clean and everything was wonderful. 10000% recommend this place

Their food was delicious. Appetizers to try, mushrooms Neptune and the fried cauliflower. What's even better than the food? Their customee service, friendly with lighthearted conversations.

Beautiful place, big enough to socially distance properly, the customer service is fantastic and the food was excellent. It’s a little pricy, but the quality is absolutely there, to justify the price. My friend and I definitely enjoyed ourselves.

This is one of our go-to places for celebrations or just a good night out. The service is always amazing, and we were there the first day they opened in-person dining after the lockdown, and you could feel the energy from the team, the food was amazing and so was the service.

Was my first time back since the pandemic started, food was just how I remembered (delicious) but the service needed to be reminded a few times and we came for a birthday celebration (they were told) but no pie. Maybe its not a thing anymore? They did have someone in training so some grace there for sure. Will be back.

Overall very good place. Can't go much wrong with franchises. Baseball steak, prime ribs, calamari, baked potato, shroom rice did better than other ones. Kinda disappointed at the Rib steak bone in (medium rare: photo)as it was overcooked with very little juice left. I prefer Coca Cola to Pepsi but I guess Pepsi did the job of rinsing off the burnt taste. Maybe I will give it another try but I saw mandarin all you can across the street. Mm

You can enjoy their nice place and good quality of food.
