Had an amazing time! The show was a lot of fun, and the comedians did a great job with the skits and improvisations throughout the night. The food service was pretty quick too. The bar and lounge has a good vibe as well.

The new location looks amazing. A central area acts as the box office, bar and restaurant. Food starts being served an hour before the performances as far as I was told. The truffle fries are amazing! Get those! All the staff are amazing as usual, and the new theatres are gorgeous. Obviously the talent at a Second City show is top notch and the occasional free jams are great to come to if you cannot commit to a full class.

Second City was a good time with creative skits and a great cast! We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at “Skyline’s the Limit” in a beautiful location/venue. Clever, witty, energetic and entertaining. Service was good as well.

Saw Mission Totally Possible last night and like every other Second City show, it doesn't disappoint! I laughed so hard: it was intelligent comedy with a very talented and energetic cast. There were excellent twists and creative improv skits. Highly recommend for date night or a night out with friends. Food was tasty and drinks top notch. I will be back for your next show!!

Amazing service! Georgia is definitely doing something right. I applaud her high energy and beautiful smile. Usually I don’t write reviews but I can’t help it!! Maybe she should get on that stage LAUGHING OUT LOUD!!!

No bad seats here (saw Swipes Right and “Value” tickets gave full view of the stage as shown, so not sure if it’s worth paying more). Very funny, authentic and relatable. Show is about 2hr 30min long in total but worth it with 2 intermissions. There’s a large lounge area too that you can sit and have a few drinks before or after the show. Food and drinks can also be served to your seat in the show.

Genuinely, best place for stand up and comedy acts in Toronto! From talent , to stage setup and background music , to the lounge and quality of the theatres, everything is top notch and one of a kind for Toronto. A must visit place if you want to indulge in some laughter. It also got great lounge with views of the lake

Went with a group celebrating two birthdays. Not my first time but haven’t been in years due to the pandemic. We saw “the absolute frighten best time of your life” or something like that and it was hilarious. Drinks were great, food was not. The food could def use the attention of management. Other than that fantastic show!!! 10/10

Saw Mission Possible last night…I’m a comedy lover (although sketch isn’t my favourite style). To say this was one of my least favourite performances would be an honest statement. The cast was great. Very energetic and knew their script well. The show itself was all over the place. No common theme. Jokes were weak and not intelligent. Woke and political indoctrination was very prevalent and distasteful. Improv segment was great and the highlight. I left half way through the show because I couldn’t handle the corniness 🌽🌽

Went to Welcome Back to the Future. Amazing show. Lovely experience. Would recommend to friends and family. Got the general ticket and though slightly pricey, was completely worth it. The show (including breaks) was over 2 hours long and very well put together.

So. Much. Fun. We love comedy and we're not disappointed at this Sunday brunch show. They were awesome, some more than others, but together, they were excellent. I'd recommend this for couples, friends, family and even kids! There were young kids in the front row and the shoe was super clean and family friendly and still super funny!

Attended the Improv Brunch at Second City Theatre. Great experience for a very fair price. Crowd participation was a fun little extra that I hadn’t expected but very much enjoyed. Food was not included but was available for purchase/to order. Very kind staff and Improv Cast made the whole event wonderfully memorable! Gender neutral washrooms available!

Went to see the Chaos improv show (sunday night), was quite enjoyable, prob around a 2-2.5h duration, the improv was well executed, some great topics. Venue itself is super nice, can see how this would be buzzing on a busy night. Plenty of parking under the building, which 2nd city, will validate so you get a 10% discount.

Second city was an absolute blast. The comedy was hilarious and very witty. In very subtle ways each skit would build upon itself. Throwing slight references to previous skits which is really cool to see. The improv was really well done and I enjoyed the twists and audience participation.

I've been coming to second city for several years and have typically spent most of the shows laughing so hard that my belly hurt. The last few times the laughs have gone way down, and the rest of the audience seems to agree with me, because it is noticeably quieter in the theatre. It used to be an escape from all of the political correctness. It used to be unapologetic, and edgy! These days, I feel that I'm almost being lectured in some of the skits, and when I'm not, the comedy is very sanitized and weak. Now, to the new theatre.......this is my first show in the new permanent home. While it is large, trendy, and modern looking, they have seemingly intentionally erased any and all of the history! Anyone new coming in, would not even know it Second City existed beyond the 6 months (or so) that it's been there! There is not a single picture or keepsake on display of any of the amazing talent that Built this club in the first place! The old location oozed with history, and you could almost feel it in the building, and you could certainly SEE it on many of its walls. Shame on Second city for washing away the history. I doubt I'll ever go back.

I used to really enjoy second city, but I was very disappointed in the Mission Possible show I attended. There was barely any improv and the skits were not clever or funny. The food was very disappointing as well and my burger had a strange smell.

The new Second City in Toronto is a fantastic place! The stages are multiple for various sized audiences. And the restaurant and Bars are slick and excellent for before and after the shows. We tried out the restaurant before our show and it was great with an nice view outside the large window and good food with reasonable prices for downtown Toronto and our server Marissa was very capable and efficient and just a nice person too! All of the staff were eager to please and left a great impression on us. This is a must see for Toronto event life!

Absolutely stunning new space at their One York location. There is a full bar and restaurant in the main waiting area. Their new stages are cozy and offer a great view of the show no matter where you sit. Food and drinks service during the show is prompt and easy to order. I’ve been to about 8 different shows at The Second City and it is always a great time filled with lots of laughter. I would love to come check out their Improv Brunch. Nothing can beat improv, laughs and brunch all at once!

Excellent show , welcome Back to the Future. Definitely reflective of these odd times, but intelligent and funny- impressive improv and energy! Good support staff. Excellent cosmopolitan cocktail and really nice fries. Overall a nice venue with an intimate feel.

Came here for a corporate social event recently - a prefix dinner at Brentwood and the show "Chaos Menu Disordered Up". The food was very delicious, especially the flourless chocolate torte. The show was hilarious. The cast even did a little improv encode for us at the end of the 2-hour show. Had an amazing night, highly recommended.

My husband and I used to see Second City shows a few times a year at the old location on Mercer, and hadn’t seen a show since before the pandemic. In full transparency we were worried that the move would change things for the worse so we were skeptical about seeing a show at the new location last night. I can’t believe we waited so long to pay the new location a visit. We loved the new space, the atmosphere, the food, the drinks, everything. It made for a really great pre and post-show experience. Not to mention, the current Mainstage Revue (Chaos Menu) had us crying laughing and was obviously the best part, what a fantastic ensemble! I hate that we waited so long to check out the new location but we will definitely be back, we have some catching up to do! If you’re skeptical like we were, do yourself a favour and see the next show ASAP! Grab dinner and drinks beforehand at the Bentwood, the burger and tacos were bomb!

We came on Saturday for the 8 pm Swipe Right show and it was a great night out! We had the prix fixe dinner at Bentwood before hand which was great. The Ceasar salad was really good. Only feedback is they should have hot chocolate so you can warm up in the theater!

We went to the Skyline's the limit show last night and it was fantastic! Very funny. The comedians are so talented and everyone was laughing throughout. We had such a good time. The lounge and bar area are very nice too with great service and staff. Highly recommend going to see a show.

We attended the Homesweet Newhome show at the new Second City venue in Toronto. I have not been to a show in years and was extremely impressed at the new cast, the show, and the new venue. I really enjoyed the cast. Each member of the cast brought a unique element to the show and worked very well together. The venue included 3 bars, with food service, and was a big improvement from the last venue. The show covered many topics and had me laughing the whole time. I can't recall laughing that much at a comedy show in quite some time. Like any show there are some sketches that are better than others but overall it was very funny and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great night out in Toronto.

Absolutely loved the Mission Possible show! It was funny and the cast were really passionate and likeable. The food and drinks were good, however they were a bit pricey.

I'm a huge fan and the shows never disappoint. I'm shocked to see other people not giving the shows a 5 star. It's one of my favorite places to go for a fun night out!

Had a great time! Excellent show with awesome food and drink options. The in seat service is a real treat because you are not going to want to miss any of the sketches. Thanks for a great night!

Show: absolutely loved it. Funny from start to finish, engaging, and real. What a talented group of people. Price: fair for what you get, though we found it annoying that it charges $5 order fee PER person online. I ended up going to the box office in person to avoid paying $45 for a group of 9 people. Service: excellent bartenders and food servers. Location: first time to their new location, it's clean and hip and got great vibes. Enjoyed few drinks at the bar outside before going into the theatre for the show.

The latest addition to the downtown Toronto opened in Dec 2022! It has great ambiance with bar and drop-in shows in the evenings. You can also learn comedy genre here in training centres.

Wow. I woke up this morning to call my friends from Second City and realized they weren't my actual friends. Sad. After that brilliant performance by the cast last night, I decided to make my own app called Frensedy. Friends in comedy. I need an app like this to change the world! I loved the whole show! Mission Not Impossible - Don't miss it. You need to see this for your health!

One of the most fun nights and definitely best spent $30 laughing the night away. We went for the swipe right show that's going on right now for Valentine's and it's really good. Every improv comedian was top notch and we laughed the night away. The theater is new and cozy and even though we took value tickets, we had really good viewing of the show. They have QR code ordering system from the table which is pretty slick. The lounge area too for indulging before and after the show looks fancy and new. Knocked off a star because the food wasn't so great. We ordered fries - come on guys, how can you screw up fries? Unseasoned fried potatoes - that's what they were. Our beer was flat. We wanted to let our wait staff know but they were hardly coming by because of the online ordering system. Even though they have online ordering, they should check in on customers. Another example, we asked for waters and napkins and they waiter never came back. So if they really want to complete the loop on online ordering, they should provision on the same website the ability to let customers order/ask for help for things are free like waters, napkins or swap out bad beer. I hope they can take this feedback and improve their service!

Absolutely gorgeous. I am amazed at how beautiful the inside is. Clean, fresh, vibrant and elegant. I had a warm welcome and a great informative chat with Cam who was friendly and approachable. Can’t wait to swing by for a show or maybe even some classes to try and enjoy doing something new for fun… why not. Not really sure what to expect but the vibes are amazing.

Excellent venue! We saw Mission Totally Possible and really enjoyed it, lots of laughs and the energy was fantastic. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming - thank you!

I saw mission totally possible during JFL and wanted to like it so bad but it just wasn’t good - it felt like a quarter of the sketches weren’t even comedy, it was bizarre. I brought a friend and we both felt the same way :(. I used to go to the old location to see the revues a couple times a year pre covid but it seems like they must have lost a bunch of their best players or writers (?) with the switch to the new location.
