Fast and super friendly! It was busy when we stopped in, but it didn't take long after we ordered to get our food. It was hot and fresh. Plus I love places where I can order a burger for breakfast. Our server was great, very friendly. Good place to get breakfast.

Visited January 2024. Upon entering staff immediately welcome us to a table.service was great and plenty of options in the menu. After ordering food cane extremely fast like less then 10 min. Food was really nice . I came based on google reviews for pancakes. For my taste pancakes were nice and fluffy but way too sweet. Portion size was ok for me but my big hubby a little small.

Great place for a quick breakfast/brunch, family friendly. We thought service was great, food was good, I found the pancake more like a pastry but still tasty! I loved the freshly squeezed juices and service was quick! Plenty of space indoors and out.

Great place to eat for brunch, the restaurant is busy however there is a short wait to get in around noon. The service was good especially with how busy it was, our server was accommodating with our needs. My favourite dish is the vegetarian crêpes with the salad on the side.

Enjoyed the breakfast in a dine out environment. The servers were really nice and treated us with care. The breakfast was good but I have had better from other places. It would be really great place to be if they lift up their food game a bit. Ambience 8 / 10 Food 7 / 10

We went there as a family for breakfast on a weekend. The place is clean and has a nice atmosphere. Our server did a good job getting our orders and keeping refilling our coffee cups. Everthing was tasty and coffwas really good but home fries and sausage were a bit of a disappointment. The fries were a but dry and piled to the top - I didn't see anybody finishing them. The sausage had paper taste to it and didn't taste like meat. Everything else was really good especially blueberry pancakes (yum!).

Tbf I think we got the wrong things because none of us got eggs despite the name of the restaurant 😂 The chicken and waffles were fine, the yogurt bowl was also average, but the cajun pasta tasted like it came from a can?? I could have made it at home.. Also the food came out all together in 5 minutes which is so sus. But the vibe was not bad, and the staff were friendly. Food... very mid.

A great place for family to enjoy. You can seat either in Patio or inside, both comfortable and staffs are approachable. They have wide varieties of menu. We ordered crab cake benedict, and Cheddar'N Mushroom Omelette which are very tasty. We also ordered Lemon Blueberry Ricotta Pancake that wasn't good, maybe fresh blueberries could be good option. Staffs are friendly and fast. Overall, great experience.

An absolute hot mess. We had to ask 3x for water and it took over 30 minutes to finally receive it - in a hot glass. The strawberry mimosa was also warm. The food, when it finally came was okay. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the potatoes were very yummy. The friend chicken was undercooked. The service was obnoxious - our server was aloof and had quite a few negative things to say about her job. At the end of the meal, we asked to see the manager who comped our entire meal! It was a surprising delight and the only reason we gave it a 3star and not 1. The place is huge and a lot is going on. It’s noisey.

This amazing place is tucked away on a small street right beside the Eaton Centre. As we approach the restaurant by foot, we are welcomed with a patio before entering the inside dining area. Wow! 🦋The energy we feel at this specific location was and still is absolutely uplifting and vibrant. The ceilings are super high and are a breath of fresh air, especially living in the city. The music is always good and upbeat, and we can even see the kitchen workers from the dining area. We are always greeted with warm, inviting smiles. 🦋During the week, the place is quieter, and there are never any wait times, and we always get a booth to sit in. On weekends, it gets busy, and that’s where the 10 to 20 minute wait can happen. They have a good system, so you can ask for your table, and they will send a text reminder so you can go for a small walk or easily walk into the Eaton Centre. Do you remember the uplifting and vibrant vibe we were talking about? Well, it easily continues from the service to the food. We have always had great food and drinks there, and we enjoy them because of their presentation and quality. We can definitely taste the TLC (Tender Loving Care) in each item. The milkshakes are really good, and if you’re feeling like a lighter, more summery type of shake, definitely try the Strawberry Milkshake - you won’t be disappointed! The Benedict section of the menu is really good. We have not had all of them, but we love the Traditional and Smoked Salmon. The waffles and pancakes are delicious. You know what, to make this easier… Everything we have tried on the menu is amazing!!! 🦋Every time we are there, we always have great conversations with the servers, and we’ve been there enough times that some of them even remember our faces. Can you say friendly and welcoming? This place is amazing for breakfast and we even had lunch there and it was just as good! The owners of this place must be amazing people to be around. We love their energy, and it’s shown through the restaurant. Thank you for an amazing place we can go, feel good, and enjoy the small things in life - good food and a friendly environment. This was our experience. What’s yours? 🦋

It was our first time there, and we all felt like this restaurant was very average. When the server delivered our meals, two fruit flies immediately landed on the food. Since these fruit flies were “trapped”, we had to pick them up with our forks. it was attached after the meal was delivered, the server was not notified, but our interests in food has decreased. When we were eating, there were several fruit flies flying at the same time, so we must always pay attention to our food is no longer contaminated. We got Uneggspected (steak&eggs) and salmon eggs Benedict. They didn’t mention they put onions in the eggs Benedict on the menu, but my bf found some in the meal. My Steak&eggs was good, the portions were nice. The server was nice and friendly, so our experience was not like crazy bad. The atmosphere was cozy. Just feel like their meal was overpriced. (We spent $65 in total for 2 meals w/o alcohol)

Was in the Toronto downtown area running errands so had stop in for Brunch at #Eggspectation . Brunch is seven days a week here, so had to go for the adult beverages. I got the #IrishCoffee Jameson Irish Whiskey, Irish Cream, coffee, topped with whipped cream and green creme de menthe. A great way to enjoy the morning coffee. My husband had a lovely #StrawberryMimosa Prosecco with strawberry puree. It was nice and strong. My husband also ordered the #FrenchToastFlambé French toast brioche, topped with strawberries, bananas, and walnuts flambéed in an orange brandy liqueur. He loved it! While the Flambé was not done table side, for the spectacle, the flavor was wonderful. I ordered the #MontrealerOmelette filled with smoked meat and Swiss cheese, and served with Lyonnaise-style potatoes, watermelon, and a pickle. It was yummy. The Omelette was cooked the way I like, The meat included in the egg and not just as a filling in the omelette. Nice Swiss cheese that was melty and good. The melon was a nice sweet addition and the pickle gave a wonderful counterpoint to the rest of the savory food. My meal also came with a lovely multigrain toast that had a lot of flavor and included butter, jam,and peanut butter on the side. We had no waiting for a table and the service was quick and efficient. There was some great art on the walls to enjoy with our lovely Brunch, it met our Eggspectation 😀

Everything from food, service, prices and atmosphere is a 10/10. It’s super annoying for me to get here but I come again and again because of how amazing everything here is. My boyfriend got the Montreal smoked meat eggs Benedict, I don’t like hollandaise sauce nor eggs but had a bite and it was TO DIE FOR! If you want breakfast, this is the spot.

Genuinely great food & service. I came before 10am both Friday & Saturday and it was quiet. Was sat outside, really nice ambience, lovely waiting staff, the food came out in no time at all and my tea was brought out with the food rather than 20mins before it, which is always appreciated. Smoked Salmon is a bit spenny, but worth it, and the classic benedict is great for its value too. Haven't the sweet side of breakfast here yet but I seen people receive their Pancakes & Waffles and they looked delicious.

Great brunch spot with a nice homey vibe! I really enjoyed the food here, the potatoes in particular were wonderful - crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The price is a bit on the high end, but not unreasonable - plus the portions are pretty big so you could maybe get away with splitting a dish between two people.

Wow! This place has one of the best french toast dishes I've ever had in my life so far. Strawberry and nutella french toast... I literally did not stop eating it until it was off my plate. The atmosphere was great, lots of people and a good vibe. The server was consistent with visits and did not bombard us which was nice. It was a clean area and the meals were a perfect portion. I really enjoyed my visit here and I will definitely come back! Hopefully without a wait time because now I am super eager to just go and eat without the wait!

This is one of the best breakfast restaurants I’ve ever been to!! We came on a Saturday afternoon and it was pretty busy but we were seated quickly. Customer service was amazing and so was the food!! We got our food within a reasonable amount of time and it was hot and fresh! I had the lobster benedict and it was to die for!!! There was a good amount of lobster and the eggs were cooked perfectly. I would definitely come back to try the different items on their menu.

Met a friend after a long time here and it was the perfect place to catch up. Firstly the location is perfect for downtown and there is underground GreenP parking very close by. I ordered a fresh OJ and my friend got a mimosa. The quality of oranges were obviously amazing because they were super flavourful and fresh. To eat, I ordered the Yolk around the clock and it was superb. If you enjoy bagels, bacon and eggs - this is the dish for you. Finally the service was great as the server was very hospitable and quick with our order. In fact when we were out of salt, we asked another server to help us out and he did happily. Highly recommend this place for breakfast or brunch!

Did this place meet my eggspectations? Not really, but maybe that’s just my taste 😅 Tbh the food’s not worth the price. But the restaurant itself is really pretty!

Place doesn’t seem as good as it was before. Hollandaise sauce was disappointing. Didn’t enjoy watching half the kitchen staff improperly wearing masks (either not wearing one or wearing masks on their chins). I understand it’s hot in a kitchen but COVID protocols should be followed, especially in the kitchen.

The place is fine. Service was good but we just didn't feel there was anything special about the food. The location is very nice and they have a large outside patio which is a plus.

Love the ambiance and the food here for quick brunch bitez. They have changed their menu and portion sizes of food for sure, but the vibe is. Still nice. My fav is orange juice and waffle pancake and French toast

✨Strawberry and chocolate French toast ✨Breakfast tacos ✨Crab cake Benedict Cute interior and really great food with awesome portions, it gets really busy here on the weekends, so be mindful of that - but that just means it’s a good place!

Our favourite breakfast place in Toronto. This has been a favourite of ours for some time, they simply nail what you’d want from a big Canadian breakfast. The chocolate chip pancakes are simply the best we’ve ever had anywhere, and they also do some great variations and different types of savoury options too! Definite must visit.

Enjoyed the breakfast in a dine out environment. The servers were really nice and treated us with care. The breakfast was good but we need to wait 45mins to get a table for 7people. Ambience 8 / 10 Food 8/ 10

The food is mediocre. I tried the classic Benedict it was nothing special. The orange juice didn’t taste good, you could taste a rotten orange. It’s extremely loud inside, so I asked to be seated outside. Their vents pump out hot air, right where the patio area is. It was very warm, dense air and you could smell trash. I couldn’t even finish my food because of how uncomfortably hot it was. Not worth the price

Perfect eggs Florentine and the sauteed potatoes on the side were great. Huge space for eating inside with outside seating as well. The juice I had was really fresh and tasty.

Portions are good compared to other breakfast spots (I’d recommend 1 order per person). The blueberry pancakes looked great but tasted subpar. We swapped it out for nutella strawberries french toast which was much better. Also, amazingly fresh potatoes. It is a little on the pricier side however ($17-$19 per plate).

  • 5/5 Juned A. 10 months ago on Google
The waffle 🧇 was amazing, it wasn't too sweet. The toast with the poached eggs was perfectly cooked. The service was exceptional. Sit outside if it's not too hot. You might get some visitors to come down from above 🐦🕊️

Had a wonderful brunch here. Didn’t know what to expect and were pleasantly surprised how good the food was. We have some picky eaters and everyone enjoyed it. And our server Shauna did a terrific job.

My mom and I ordered the crab Benedict and the nutella French toast and split both plates. They were amazing, both very flavorful and satisfying. The maple syrup was evidently pure and the whipped cream tasted handmade. The Hollandaise sauce and crab cakes were very good too. Service was quick and very nice so 5/5!

Incredibly busy but waiting an hour for food is difficult to accept. Especially because me and my friends came by after running a marathon. Taste though was superb! I really enjoyed my strawberry milkshake and lobster eggs benedict. I also got an order of ham but was really disappointed to see only 2 slices for $6 whereas my friend whom got smoked meat for $9 seemed to have a huge portion.

We had a fantastic experience here. The food was absolutely amazing and the service was great. We weren’t sure what to expect but I was blown away at the quality of the food. Ever been to a place and order something from a photo and when the food arrives it looks nothing like the picture? Well this was the opposite experience. The food looked and tasted better that I was expecting, it was almost a work of art. Sazu was our service and he was amazing. Will be back for sure!

  • 3/5 Michelle 2 years ago on Google
It’s a busy, buzzing place! Make sure to make reservations ahead of time or you’ll be waiting for a while! The pancakes were soft and fluffy! Parfait was fine a bit underwhelming for the price point. What really docked off stars was the fact that things just didn’t look very clean. My partner had dirty utensils (had some yellow stuff stuck on the knife) and the cups looked a bit grimey with the foggy water spots all over. It’s not the end of the world - the food is good but it just makes you think if they are doing a proper job cleaning (esp since we have covid now)

Ordered the Prime Rib sandwich for delivery from Uber Eats - I prefer beef to be cooked medium well so this wasn’t edible. My feedback would be to either give customers the option of how they want the meat cooked, or specify in the menu that it’ll be served like this - The only reason I bumped this up from a 1 star to a 2 star is because the guy I spoke to when I called in was reasonable.
