This time, I went to The Palour, a pizza place in Toronto that's been getting a lot of buzz lately. Let me tell you, it was worth the hype! The Palour is not easy to find, though. It's tucked away in a narrow street, but once you get there, you'll be amazed by the beautiful decor. They have a cozy indoor area and a spacious outdoor patio, with dim lights that create a romantic atmosphere. The bathrooms are also very clean and well-maintained. But let's talk about the food, because that's what really matters, right? The Palour specializes in wood-fired pizzas, and they are amazing. I ordered the Margherita, which had a thin and crispy crust, fresh tomato sauce, and gooey mozzarella cheese. It was heavenly. The only thing I would suggest is to get some dipping sauce, because the pizza can be a bit dry on its own. They have different options, like garlic aioli, ranch, or marinara. The service was also top-notch. The staff was super friendly and attentive, and they made sure we had everything we needed. They also gave us some recommendations on what to order and what to avoid. The only downside of The Palour is that it's not cheap. The pizzas range from $15 to $30, depending on the size and toppings. Plus, they have a lot of tempting drinks and desserts that can add up quickly. We ended up spending about $40 per person, which is not bad for a special occasion, but not something I can afford every week. Another thing to keep in mind is that The Palour turns into a bar/club at night. So if you're looking for a quiet dinner, you might want to go early or avoid the weekends. But if you're in the mood for some dancing and partying, then this is the place for you. Overall, I had a great time at The Palour and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves pizza and cocktails. I give it a 9 out of 10 rating. It's one of the best pizza places in Toronto, for sure.

My friend and I came here the other day for lunch and it was great! We had a couple drinks and the short ribs, as well as a pizzetta and the salmon tartare. Everything was really good and the service was excellent (thanks so much Morgan)! Definitely recommend a visit, especially during happy hour!

Awesome for weekend brunch, weekday happy hour, or before a game. Food is good, pizza is great (my go-to is the Goldmember because no one hates truffles), music is the right mix of everything for an older or younger crowd. Beware, it is pretty loud especially if there's a birthday and a younger crowd. Otherwise, vibe is always right. Casual-trendy dress but anything goes.

Found while aimlessly walking around downtown Toronto, it's patio service was extremely quick. On a busy Saturday night where we expected 45-60 minute waits, we manage to get a seat within 10 minutes. We came only for the drinks but the menu was extremely diverse. A little on the pricey end, we got a couple of the cocktails and all were good with the blackberry smash being our favourite. It costed us around 80$ for 6 drinks but they were tasty. They respected COVID-19 precautions as well so it wasn't a hazard to go there.

Great spot, feels like a mashup of different atmospheres all in one place, especially with the big connected patio. The vegan margarita pizza is quite good. The selling point of this place is definitely the atmosphere, though. Loved the half-in, half-out seating between patio and inside on a summer day. Plus, because the patio faces the parking lot and city buildings off King West, it has a more secluded bar feel that’s quite nice. Such a great spot to go with friends.

4.5/5 walking up to The Parlour felt like I was transported back to England. The aesthetics added to the charm, making the experience even more enchanting. Their 12-3 pm lunch special, priced at $20 for a small pizza and a glass of wine, was truly a gem. Opting for the margarita pizza, I was delighted by the exceptional texture of the pizza bread. While enjoyable, a touch more salt would have heightened the overall taste harmony and made the pizza more flavourful. Though, the Funghi pizza my friend had was flavourful and a true winner. The short ribs delivered on taste, although they didn't leave me feeling particularly full. To ensure satisfaction, I'd recommend having a light breakfast before visiting. Overall, I loved my experience and will definitely be returning!

What an amazing lunch I had at the Parlour! Their happy hour special runs from open-6pm which gives ample amount of time for anyone interested. Had the 1/2 stack of short ribs and it was tender and delicious. I’d go back to have it again. I got the “Goldmember” pizzette with a glass of house wine. The pizzette had the solid foundation of a good crust - crispy and light. I thoroughly enjoyed the indulgent and creamy flavour combination of the truffles, potato, caramelized onions and mushrooms. I wished the pizzette had a touch more sauce to amp it up. Lastly, i had the key lime pie for dessert. The cream filing was decadent and light. It was tart enough to cut through the richness of the dairy. The Graham crust was crispy and buttery which elevated the dessert from good to great.

This restaurant is a 3.5 out 5 stars for me. My experience reflects my time on a weekend. The positives: - They got a great selection of food to choose from. There will be little to no problem in trying to satisfy people with different dietary needs. - The food here is good. The pork bites and the brocco were absolutely delicious. I had the standard pizza here, and it was a bit bland but still tasted decent. - They got a nice patio that is hidden off of King Street. This makes it super easy to interact and have a conversation with your friends/party without having to strain your voice. - The decor inside is really nice and the washrooms are clean and plentiful. The negatives: - Their booking system is strange. You cannot call in to book a table. They require you to send a request via their website. They have a system were you can walk in to get a table. However, the process of getting a table through walk in is chaotic and unorganized. They tell you to wait for ~45-50 minutes for a table, but only to tell you again that nothing is available and I have to continue to wait. I waited for 2 hours before someone came and told you that there is a table available. This only happened once I got tired of waiting and asked they let me know what's going on so I can either take takeout or go somewhere else. Getting a walk in table should not be this chaotic and stressful, especially when they state on their website they have walk in tables available. - Masks. It is true that some of their employees do not wear mask properly. They could do a better job to make sure people are wearing their masks properly. Overall, I'd try this restaurant again, but not on a weekend. Perhaps my experience would be different on a weekday when it isn't super busy.

The Parlour is another tacky Toronto restaurant that relies on overdone aesthetics rather than providing decent food or service. I ordered the Eggs Benedict, and it was very underdone (runny egg white). An already unappetizing meal was made worse when a hair was found in my friends meal. It’s not just the food here, the water also had a weird smell to it. Also, the service was subpar, slow, uninterested, and unfriendly. Do not recommend this place!

This place is known for their pizza and it IS really good! I like going here Fri nights, the music is decent and crowd is not so young. I came here for brunch the other day and wow it's really good. Not a lot of places make a great eggs Benny but I really recommend this. They use their famous pizza dough as a base for the eggs Benny. The hollandaise sauce was perfect and they use creamy, free range eggs. The beef rib and eggs Benny was really good as well. Both had great flavors. Best brunch I've tried on Toronto so far.

Parlour is definitely a vibe and my time here had quite the few ups and downs. I’d give it a 3.5. I’ll start by saying Frances the manager was so kind. I ordered of the vegan menu and the meal that came was NOT vegan. Lucky a friend noticed so I asked and the runner who said yes it was, only to comeback and say no. Dangerous place for us vegans..why have a separate vegan menu if you’re not going to adhere by it. Drink selection was quite good and I enjoy the ambiance…..some of the wait staff wear their mask around their chin and not mouth and nose. Wouldn’t say it’s the most covid friendly of places.

Amazing food, amazing atmosphere, amazing service. You will have an amazing experience here, if you’re willing to drop hundreds😄This place is very expensive, but everything is really good. Highly recommend the Goldmember Pizza, it’s the BEST. The truffle tastes amazing and it’s a great vegetarian option. Better than any other pizza, including meat ones. The pepperoni can’t go wrong either, it’s delicious. Dough is soft and cheese is cheesing. So sooo good. The Roasted chicken pizza was good, but I definitely prefer the other ones. Short ribs were really good, but very overpriced. $28 for a very small stack of short ribs. The meatball slides were soooo good, but again, pricey. I forgot what it’s called but there’s a salmon dip with fried cracker-looking things and it was insane!! Highly recommend. The shareable were very good, but I recommend spending your money on the pizzas. They are so good. Happy hour def makes things more affordable, ½ price wine and oysters 🦪! The ambience is amazing, so much natural light if you want it, but if you want more of a dimmed, candle-lit vibe, there’s def options for that too. Waitress was super sweet and had a smile on her face constantly, recommended amazing dishes.

Great spot for a nice casual drink or easy dinner. Food is pretty simple but well made (as long as you know what to order). A little pricey for the type of food it is though. Best to order: - Goldmember Pizza 9/10 (yummy to add dipping sauce) - Meatball Mini 8.5/10 - Caesar salad 8.5/10 (well done Caesar. Grilled chicken also has lots of flavour)

Absolutely not worth the money. The lobster rolls were cute but the lobster did not taste fresh at all. At $8/ea you should probably go somewhere where they're a bit more tasty. The "smash" burger was the most disappointing burger I've had in a long time. I'm pretty sure it's just a regular patty that's been grilled, and the whole thing was more pathetic than something you could get at Wendy's. The Boeuf Dip on the other hand was half-decent. Apparently they don't have a fryer on site at all (???) so the chips you get as a side are actual chips. Pretty sure they're just store-bought kettle chips because they don't have a fryer to make them in-house! But they have a room you can take cute Instagram photos in. I guess that's what the inflated food prices are really paying for.

Went for brunch and had the French Toast. One of the best I've had in awhile, soft, filling and decadent. The decor was inviting and the staff courteous and engaging. Thank you to Francis and the crew for the hospitality. Looking forward for my next visit.

We had a great experience over the weekend for a birthday party. Oliver was very accommodating to our large group which I changed the amount of people to the reservation the day prior. The drinks and food were phenomenal! We ordered shareables for the table, so we were able to try lots of items. The short ribs and pizzas were a hit with the entire group, they also had lots of gluten free options. Service was outstanding and we will gladly be back again soon!

I absolutely LOVED their pizza - especially the goldmember. The crust is light and different from the average pizza, and the dips that came with it were so flavourful! I also like that they have a whole vegan menu - I enjoyed the vegan pizza but was sad that I received broccoli on it rather than the cauliflower bites it stated on the menu. Other than that, a great spot to grab pizza!

Tried their weekend brunch for the first time as we previously enjoyed their regular menu. Great deal on a bottle of Prosecco and delicious brunch items. The short rib and egg skillet was outstanding.

Great food and vibes for a casual meal or a night out. Lots of seating space and cool interior design. Multiple bars with booths, tables, high tops. Gets busy on weekends. Highly recommend the pizzas and beef carpaccio here! You can do half and half on the pizzas which was great for sharing. Def going back.

Went here for winterlicious with my friend. We got the mini lobster rolls, goldmember and swag pizza with the keylime pie and salted caramel sundae along with some cocktails. We loved the lobster rolls and pizzas, especially goldmember! The desserts and cocktails weren't bad but not great either. Service was okay, the girl just looked like she didnt want to serve us. And she didn't really flow up with us on our drinks. But it could've just not been a good day for her. Overall, I recommend and would come back to try more food.

Went for brunch with some friends. My order was the rib hash + side of toast. My dish was missing the main part-the rib. And no I didn't accidentally eat it or miss it because my friend ordered the same dish and hers had a small chunk of the meat. This issue was rectified quickly by our server Mara. The service was great. My toast was also burnt but I didn't say anything about this and just ate around it. I'd come back for drinks only. Food not worth it in my opinion.

New fave spot for sure! Definitely a hidden gem. We went for dinner and had the 1/2 price oysters because it was Monday. They were really good quality. The cocktails were amazing. The blackberry smash was super yummy & the old fashioned is the best I’ve had on King Street. Music was 10/10 which made a huge difference. You have to try the beef short ribs! Pizza was also phenomenal, we ordered the gold member and will be back again to try the others :)

I loved the vibe is calm and a little dark (I went on a Tuesday). The pizzas are sooo good that I’m def coming back and the cocktails are really strong! Pictures here turn out AMAZING. They have this little room as well with a lot of lights and a sort of tropical wallpaper that is so great for pictures.

Tucked in an alleyway on King, I didn't know what to expect. I had a toddler in tow, and I was pleasantly surprised how friendly and accommodating the staff were. The pizzas and smash burger were delicious. The patio had a great atmosphere. Definitely will be back with friends for drinks.

We were so thoroughly impressed with the pizza here that we cannot wait to be back. The crust by itself is was delicious let alone the toppings. We’ll definitely be back to check out their happy hour but also for more of their pizza! I was too impatient to dig in once the pizza arrived so didn’t end up taking a picture but will for sure in the future.

Cozy place; however people in these reviews were bragging about the pizza and I don't know why. You pay $30 for eating a pizza that is 40% of very thick crust and barely any actual filling. Service is mediocre, I asked for oregano and they brought when we had finished eating. The hostess and the waitress remind you several times that the table is available for 1.5 hr . Then the waitress every so often starts telling you: "You have 1/2 hr left", a bit later, " You have 20 minutes left" and so on... SERIOUSLY??? Not impressed at all and the music was terrible. Go somewhere else

Parlor is a busy spot on king west. Tucked away this small venue is intimate with a cocktail list that will not disappoint. Watermelon Negronis, bourbon infused cocktails. There are so many to try. The patio space was lovely and inside it's dim lit and looks great for colder days. We will be back!

Amazing vibes and friendly staff! I couldn’t believe how fresh and delicious the pizzas are. The staff recommended that if you can’t decide on a pizza, you can put two different types of pizzas on one! This way, when ordering two pizzas you really get to try four in total. So cool. I had the yaletown, fun guy, goldmember and the perogi pizzas and drank the watermelon negroni. It’s absolutely amazing and the vibe is awesome. Keep in mind due to covid you can only stay for 2 hours, and a reservation is required.

Unbelievable service. Impressive décore. Amazing oysters. Honest to god the best pizza I've ever had. Not kidding... Which I was not prepared for. Our server Robin went above and beyond in my opinion and did a phenomenal job. Seperates itself from the generic King St. competition in my humble opinion!

I came here with a few friends for brunch. The patio has lots of space and the corner has a beautiful blue and white tile design on the wall. They had a great happy hour - we got a bottle of prosecco with OJ and pineapple juice for mimosas for $40. Each of us ordered a variation of the eggs benedict but mine was the best :) Probably one of my fave egg bennys that I have tried in Toronto - I think it was called Goldmember. Must try if you love a parmesan/truffle flavour! Our server was so friendly, personable and patient. I will definitely be returning!

This club is "implicit bias," where someone of one race may treat someone from another race differently. Please make sure you are either white or rich to enter this club. May god bless bless the with some wisdom.

This was a pretty fun place for brunch! Great vibe and the music was loud. The food was okay, wish they had more pizza options at brunch. The brisket was super dry but the eggs and arugula on top were delicious. The server probably asked us 4 times about our coffees and how we like them, the coffees never came. I think she forgot. But will come again for dinner !

Came here for a birthday brunch this time. The Arugula Salad I had was very healthy. The other plates my friends ordered looked yummy too. The Grapefruit Mimosa was good. Nice ambience and service. Really liked the upside-down piano light (see my photo). The server was sweet despite that our bills got a bit messed up in the end. She even helped put together a mini birthday celebration for my friend with bubble guns. Food (quality, presentation) - 4/5 Drinks (quality, variety) - 4/5 Ambience (interior, cleanness) - 5/5 Service - 5/5 Value - 4/5

This was one of the worst bar experiences I have ever had. Went here a couple weeks ago and a woman at the door named Liv told us to wait by the door which we were okay with. Once 15 min passed by she came up to us and told us to move into the alley way because we were “turning away more priority people”. I have never been treated so rudely by a bouncer or door person and the worst part was we were celebrating a friends birthday and had bottles but she only took our word seriously when a guy showed up and explained. Go someone else downtown if you’re looking to have fun.

Came here on a Monday night and it was a nice place to lounge! The pizza was really good and same for the oysters! Although, the salmon tartare was extremely salty so we weren’t able to finish it. Nice ambience, I can definitely see myself returning in the future for the oysters :)

Overall vibes are good. The service was 2/5. They put us on a table with high top and said the ones where you can actually sit are all reserved. We sat there for more than an hour and all of those booths in the back were all empty. Only one group came in before we left to sit there. My back was very sore so I couldn’t stand and want to get out quickly. The wait for the waiter was long and when she arrived she didn’t even asked for the order, I asked can we order now? Because we have been waiting for so long. We ordered 2 pizzas, even tho the texture is good on the dough, the taste was not there at all. No salt, no cheese taste, nothing. We were able to find the waiter again after 20 minutes to order dipping and it helped a bit. Just for 2 pizzas and 2 dipping sauces and 1 coke (most likely to be 150ml at max topped with lots of ice) the prices was way too much. I had much better pizza’s elsewhere. Would not recommend unfortunately.

I celebrated my daughter’s 30 here. I dealt with Candice who was amazing to deal with in getting it organized. The staff did their utmost to fulfill my needs. The food was absolutely delicious and top-notch. The service was impeccable. My server Robin was professional but super friendly as well. I would definitely use this venue again. I highly recommend them. It went off without a hitch. Thanks for being so accommodating!!!

Went on a Saturday night. Personally, the music playing at the beginning of the night (maybe 9-10:30pm) wasn’t my jam. I didn’t even recognize a lot of the music but it definitely got better as the night went on. Like really good! So giving 5 stars for that.

I have already been here for a pizza (which was really good for a "club establishment) and came on Halloween night. No cover, great music, fast bar service and a fun night. One of the best establishments on King west and a great place to either go for a date and then party in the evening.

Great place for brunch! I loved their mimosas and their French toast. I came here for brunch and ended up ordering two portions of the French toast. Super soft and yummy! The place isn’t crowded and feels warm and cosy! Will come back again for the French toast for sure :)

Ordered the perogy pizza and was very happy with the flavour and toppings minus the slightly too burned crust + bottom. However, would order again but I would probably go with a different flavour this time as their menu has so many fun and unique options to try. The pizzas do tend to be on the higher side of pricing - something to keep in mind!
