2022 July 4.5★ Located right beside the art gallery you'll find this nice open space along side with an art piece, water feature (possibility for kids) and decent sized play area separated by age. The play structures haven't changed, since the last visit, a wooden climbing structure with a slide and swings under a bed of wood chips. Lots of people picnic or just sit and sub bathe on nice sunny days. Limited Paid Street parking nearby. 2018 5★ Nice place. Water feature. Good playgrounds. Open area is pretty big.

Grange Park, a hidden gem near the iconic AGO and OCAD University in Toronto, offers a vibrant atmosphere that captivated my senses. The park's lush greenery, peaceful ambiance, and beautifully curated art installations make it a must-visit destination. Whether you're seeking a tranquil escape, a creative inspiration, or a delightful picnic spot, Grange Park has it all. Highly recommended for locals and visitors alike. #HiddenGem #TorontoParadise

If you don't know, forever and ever, belongs to AGO and has all necessary facilities like bottle filling stations, off-leash dogs area, playground, splash pad and washrooms. Above that plenty of shade from old growth trees, some of grassy fields of blankets picnicking citizens and absolutely awesome Large Two Forms sculpture by Henry Moore. Beyond all of this unforgettable atmosphere. I am not even trying to describe. Let say, if you looking for the place with most colorful and entertaining people, this is the place to be. Always busy in many ways. Loved by locals and visitors. Many exciting places just steps away in every direction. Worth the effort, time well wasted and yours to discover.

A nice park in downtown Toronto near to Chinatown, and University ave. Our kids love it. We went there several times in the summer, or any season.. whenever we go downtown.

It's my favourite park to visit early in the morning. After 9am it's starts to get crowded.

One of my favorite parks in Toronto, situated directly behind the AGO. Great landscape and view of the city. Great space for kids, picnics, tai chi, and dog park. They did a fantastic job renovating the entire park space. Kinda reminds me of Knotting Hill park scene in the end with Julia Robert's enjoying life.

Great park with unique play structures just under the shadow of the OCAD building. And nice views of some skyline including CN tower. Had a great stop by here after dinner at one of the nearby restaurants! Would recommend!

Nice park and never knew it existed. Took a walk around the park and area today. Nice fall colors and great place for kids to play with some very interesting play ground houses and futuristic playground equipment. Great view through the falls colors to the CN Tower. Very quiet and peaceful area.

This is a nice park to bring you kids ... But you will be sharing it with lots of teens in the afternoons so come early. Not an issue most times but can be a bit distracting. The washrooms are a very nice touch and much appreciated.

Had a wonderful time at this park! The atmosphere was great, and the children’s play area added a fantastic touch. It’s an ideal spot to unwind with family while the kids enjoy themselves. Plus, its proximity to Queen St makes grabbing a bite convenient. Also, being close to OCAD University adds to its appeal. Highly recommend for a family day out!

Awesome awards winning wood chips based playground designed by Earthscape next to AGO. Lots to climb for various ages and huge green space with shades and picnic tables. Public washroom is temporarily closed due to COVID. Must visit site. Built in 2017.

Nice for walks BUT be aware of the squirrel because if they hear any food bags or drinks. They will get really close to you and if you’re not fully watching them and be precautious of them; they will jump on you just to grab whatever you’re munching on.

Kids section. Dog park. Water fountain. Benches for picnic. Mellow lighting in evenings. And location that's very central and accessible. Oh and there's a couple washrooms too! This park has got it all !!

Honestly a very good park with new playgrounds and water pads. There is an offleash area that is enclosed with fences as well. I take my newborn son here regularly and have never had any bad interactions.

Nice place with huge unusual playground. Lash free dog park. Some restaurants near here. However, this place homeless like too can’t avoid to look at their open air shelter just near kids playground. If you downtown view addicted and CN Tower fan you will fall in love with this place.

A lovely park space next to OCAD and behind the AGO! There's lots of seating, a tiny playground for kids and water area to walk at. They also moved the Large Two Forms by Henry Moore (from the AGO to this park as well). There's also a dog park for dogs to freely roam. You can also see the AGO staircase as well! There's lots of green space and pending on the time of day or weekend, it could get pretty busy. It's still pretty calming to enjoy the public noises and dogs around.

Beautiful park between AGO and OCAD. Brand new playground and little water area for the kids to run around and play. It’s a great place to exercise and there’s a large grass area for picnic. Near to Queen St. to many restaurants and attractions.

Love it here!!! Nice play structure for all ages. There's also a small splash pad area that kids can play. Lots of benches and shades around.

A multi use space with a dog park. An adventurous and creative play space for kids. A splash pad. Expansive grounds for a picnic or hanging out. Right next to the ago.

A nice, big park in the heart of downtown Toronto. Has jungle gym for the kids, lots of benches, and an off leash dog park. Right next to the famous/infamous Pencil Box, sure to be a conversation starter!

Large park that has it all: 2 connected playgrounds for both older and smaller kids; splash pad in the summer (although over concrete so not great for running on wet ground and potentially falling), large grass area with a few large trees, picnic tables, walking paths, and a dog park. Very popular on warm days, there are food venues around the area so you can pick up food on the way and have a picnic. Caution would be that there are a couple of tents set up around the edge of the playground, I haven’t seen any homeless people disturbing the playground, but had to stop curious little ones from exploring them. Some irresponsible dog owners would have off-leash dogs outside the dog park where there are many little kids playing in the same area. Lighting is sufficient at night to enjoy a stroll. A great park overall to have in the downtown area.

Used to be the hangout spot way back before having kids. Was the spot to meet up with friends. Close to restaurants and shopping, good place to chill out or take a break. Now I take my kids to enjoy the updated playground with a splash pad.

One of the coolest playgrounds in Toronto. The structures are so unique and have such wide utility for a huge age range. Worth the drive downtown, and only a few blocks in any direction from some of the best food in the city!

Nice park in the core of downtown. There’s a lot of room to set up a blanket, benches and great views of the city.

I love the cozy feeling of this park

I loved this park! It got lower stars because parking was a bear and there was quite a bit of weed growth, but the feel of this park is incredible. Nice views, the bustle of people (even midday on a week day), plenty of squirrels and birds, big, old, leafy trees, etc. Lots of benches, big open grassy spaces, a spacious dog park and good quality jungle gym for kids. Just a really terrific atmosphere!

This is a good park in a great and central location. There are play structures for kids and lots of open area, near some fun buildings. There is even an off-leash dog area which is great. The only con is that it’s largely unusable with all the ice! It may as well be a rink 😅
