A long feedback but addresses a long-stay here! I came here for a longer therapeutic stay before starting my new role & after many years of no vacation. Sheraton is a phenomenal luxurious and absolutely fascinating view and location; however, some aspects were quite disappointing to me. Let me mention the positives first: The reception is a great venue actually even for leisure and business meetings without stay. With stay, you get the extra comfort and privilege, although at times, it gets quite too busy for a comfortable lobby experience. The proximity to Nathan Phillips square is a whole additional attracting aspect. You're guaranteed you'll never have a dull moment, even if you stay around, like I did. Let's speak to the multiple difficulties: The room was amazing in view and comfort, yet it was definitely not what I was promised. It was a low-rise, not a high-rise like I signed up for upon booking. Although I was willing to wait for checking in, the receptionist almost voiced it like the low rise room was the only option if I want to be guaranteed my accommodation of open space and view to meet my claustrophobia. As well, service needs quite some work. Abrupt behaviour and lack of spending time with guests is quite common. I understand that it is beyond busy but not as busy as not being dedicated to the guest you're handling. Olga at reception was an exception, though. She took all her time, smile, and care to make me feel welcomed and she deserves a recognition. A couple of workers were also kind with supplying my need especially for coffee, otherwise it was disappointing. Also, I am beyond disappointed with 2 things: food experience and special rates. For food, I truly disagree with the current "have a seat and we will get you" as it left me without service multiple times. The food options are extremely price and definitely not at quality. Also, being nonalcoholic really left me at unease once that I force-ordered a virgin drink and another where I was completely and obviously disregarded. This was very uncomfortable and made me relocate to the back of the lobby multiple times. Second, the rates should definitely be revisited for special rates as even when I was extending I was almost fooled into thinking I have special rates while online ones were even cheaper, but I accepted what I got after over an hour and a half of back & forth calls, being dismissed on the phone & having to call again, and speaking with multiple people. I will be purely honest I didn't feel the supportive respectful service I expected to get after sharing my purpose of the trips and my needs. I think you need to reconsider this. I am a little hesitant now. Also, cleaning services need some attention, the rooms weren't as clean and quite dusty, bathroom barely cleaned although I asked daily. My message to future travelers is tp check the rates especially if you qualify for special rates and be a little more attentive to service. Some pics of views of room, lobby, and Nathan are enclosed to help.

This is a proper 4-star hotel. The lobby is expansive and you could feel the energy of people gathering. Check-in was relatively quick with a lot of agents working. Room was very fair size, but they need an immediate update. The grey carpet and wood finishes were nice 10 years ago, but the rooms and bathrooms are dull and need to be modernized asap. Good sound proofing though and nice view. Service was great all around from valet to lobby bar to housekeeping. Unfortunately pools were closed, but for renovation. Need more dining options, but I think these are coming as well. Huge place that hosts many conferences so great for business travelers and in a great location. Better in almost all regards than the Hilton across the street, but at least the Hilton renovated half of their rooms a year back. Definitely on the pricier side but for a Saturday night in Toronto was very satisfied all around.

My all time favourite hotel in Toronto. Fantastic location just steps away from subway, streetcar, Eaton Centre, city hall, downtown, and the Four Seasons performing arts centre. Great access to the underground PATH system (very useful in winter). The lobby had a wonderful original 1970s aesthetic before it was renovated, but the new one is still pretty decent. Staff are very helpful and service is quick. Rooms are a little dated but if you get a north-facing one, the view is incredible! Housekeeping is okay but could be a little better. Decent restaurant but if you can, get access to the lounge because the food there is free and easily better. The pool is located in the middle of the hotel and is a hybrid indoor/outdoor one. It's heated in the winter and there's also a hot tub. Cute little garden with trees and a waterfall in the middle as well, viewable from the lobby. Great value for money here, but expect to pay a premium. Highly recommend!!

Have stayed here in past, and had a similar experience to what we found this month -- nice hotel, great location, good service. I upgraded to the "Cabana" King which is a third-floor room with a small patio that overlooks the pool area. There are patio chairs and a lounger available for use, which is a nice spring/summer option for adding space to the room. Otherwise, the room is standard -- just big enough for two to share over a few days without being cramped. The bed is super comfortable -- we'd happily buy one of these mattresses! Linens and towels are very nice, and the room was quite clean. The hotel is little dated in decor, but our room and the hallways were in good condition. The hotel is huge, with two towers, so navigating it can be overwhelming. However, check out the gym, pool area (a resort-style pool deck on the third floor takes you up above the hectic street scene to bask in the sun) and the atrium/waterfall areas. (Hey Sheraton -- More signage in the hallways for hidden-away rooms would be helpful!) Room service comes as a take-out order (paper bag, boxes, plastic cutlery) and the rooms are stocked with plastic cups. Feels like a bit of a waste, and isn't quite the Sheraton vibe -- more of a cheap motel vibe than anything. Hopefully this will change. I only ordered one meal, but it was hugely overpriced for what I got -- even by typical room service standards. Food options in the lobby -- the restaurant, lobby bar and coffee bar -- are a bit better. There's also easy access during business hours to a food court below the hotel off the PATH. In all, a 4.5 star rating -- but I've got to go with 5.

The Good: Stay was pleasant. We have stayed in the past and returned for the experience. Love the 43rd floor. Location is great for getting around anywhere in-town. Bed was comfy and sheets were cozy. The Bad: The front desk made it challenging to switch credit cards for payment during check-in. The construction has reduced services in the building (valet space, lobby, pool accessibility, etc). Waited 1 hour for a maintenance person to no-show after I placed a maintenance call. I called again and the second time a maintenance person was prompt (15 min) to come fix the problem. "Fresh Squeezed" Orange juice was actually a bottle of Tropicana and we were charged $8 per drink...this was extremely disappointing. The bathroom in our room on the 29th floor was outdated and in need of some renovation based on the price you are charged for a room at ~$300/night. Room was very dry and in desperate need of a humidifier. Woke up multiple times to quench my thirst.

Gosh I could really rip a strip off of this place. It gets 1 star because it was in fact a hotel, and it gets a half star because it was mostly clean (huge piles of dust under furniture and bed, stained shower), and it gets its last half star because the "complimentary breakfast" was so hideously inedible it is a great hotel to stay at if you're counting calories. If you want ANYTHING from your stay more than a warm room and running water, avoid like the plague. Thankfully the staff were really lovely but the hotel still has less amenities than a prison.

As other reviews indicate, the location is great and the rooms are generally fine. However, two similar incidents during different stays in the same week leave me with serious concerns about their approach to cleanliness. We had two separate stays (different rooms) the week of Dec 27, 2021, and on BOTH occasions the coffee cups in our room were left dirty from the prior guests. While this was an easy problem to fix (they sent someone up with new cups in a reasonable amount of time) the fact that this happened twice makes me question their standards and processes. This is especially troubling during the pandemic, when I would hope a reputable hotel would ensure that something as obvious as used paper cups be removed during room prep. Luckily for us the soiling was obvious, but I'm grossed out at the thought that other guests may be drinking from cups that are less obviously used. On both occasions, the front desk staff were fairly apologetic, but not entirely surprised-sounding. The second one did ask if we wanted a new room, but I didn't really see a point in accepting that since it's the underlying inattention to detail that concerns me. Since I had mentioned this was the second such incident in a week, I would have appreciated a follow-up apology or a gesture such as comped parking. If this was a one-time occasion, I wouldn't be writing this review. But since this appears to be a systemic problem, I think it's only fair that future potential customers be made aware of this. At the very least, make sure to ask for fresh cups when you arrive! Even if they are neatly stacked, don't assume they are unused. On a positive note, the valet staff are top notch: all very kind and efficient.

We're staying here for 5 days and it's an awesome location. The rooms are clean and bathroom stocked with great products. Glad we had the option of housekeeping daily. Breakfast was ok, it wasn't apparent that you're just supposed to sit down and a server will come. The tables have QR codes but the server gave us menus. He was attentive until the end, couldn't find him to tip him. The rooms probably could use updating (like carpet, ceilings, wallpaper) but aren't bad.

Staying in any hotel, during these times, is a little bit different. Certainly the hotel was quieter - which isn’t a bad thing. The hotel is centrally located - which means an easy walk to the biggest landmarks in Toronto. The service itself was friendly and efficient. Parking was easy. The room itself was pretty standard - with all the expected amenities.

Great hotel to stay at. A little bit older. Pool is showing its age. But can't beat the location. And direct connection to the underground path system, subways and Eaton Centre. Worth staying here for a nice little weekend getaway with the family. Great views

  • 2/5 Phil M. 9 months ago on Google
The rooms are looking seriously dated and rough. Perfect if you love shades of beige and brown. The pool is great but they block off half the lounging chairs with ‘reserved’ signage so come early if you don’t want to sit on the ground. Location is great but I wouldn’t stay here again.

From valet greeting to checking out, our family experience was excellent. Excellent room overlooking Nathan Phillips Square. Clean and modern. Had drinks and lounged in the spacious lobby in the evening. Breakfast goodies and morning coffee in lobby was stellar. Also pool was great!

I stayed at this hotel for a girls weekend in the summer and was very pleased. The hotel lobby was SO fancy and all the staff were very nice. The room was very spacious and clean. The beds and pillows were also very comfortable. The hotel is very central and located to many amenities in the area. Parking is also very cheap (compared to nearby hotels). The fitness room has many different options to choose from and the pool and pool deck are very spacious and clean. Overall we had a very relaxing stay and were even able to get a later check out time. My only complaint is that the restaurant/food options within the hotel were very pricy, although it was nice they were able to bring food/drinks directly to your room or the pool deck. My next girls weekend is already booked back at this hotel!

First of all the location is superb! We had a view on the Toronto sign from our room. And we walked to all the landmarks, taking a tram just once for fun. The lounge is amazing! With sweeping views on the city and the lake and CNN tower. This is the case when it pays to be an elite member - they had a great selection of food for breakfast, and night views of the city from there are even better than during the daytime. The room was quite spacious and comfortable. All of the staff were great, thanks! The lobby of the hotel is also great with an amazing open air courtyard, a bar and plenty of seating areas.

Lovely place, with a great view. Friendly, accommodating staff and housekeeping cleaned daily which was a nice change (a lot of places don't for shorter stays now). It was slightly annoying that the shampoo bottle was missing out of the shower and no one bothered to put one there in its place. Furthermore, the pool is so nice but the amount of people acting insane was ridiculous. Obviously, the hotel can't control who is in the pool or hotel in general but it would be nice to have a curfew for children or something..

For a big box conference hotel- I recommend! If you are planning a professional conference in Toronto, this is a great spot. Not boutique, but has some high convenience gems embedded within- a 24 hour fitness room- a huge pool, with timely pool side service, a great in-house restaurant “Dual Citizen”- the food is good with a nice amount of choice. Ask for a room with a city view- nice bedding. There was a DJ playing in the lobby at the end of each conference day. What a vibe! The service was great from the moment I checked in until the moment I checked out with everything in between. Location is in the financial district- so a bit devoid of character- but alas, not the hill to die on- the rest was great.

Room was nice, pillows did not have much support, even with two stacked on top of each other. Front desk only activated one digital key even though there were two people in the room with their own smart phones. The recent refresh was nice. I liked that their in-room fridges have clear see through doors so you can view inside without opening the door.

Great hotel in Toronto, the service was very good in the reception, we stayed here two times, both of the times the rooms were clean and well maintained. The location is great, the hotel is close to the Toronto sign, Dundas street, shopping mall and the underground city. The breakfast here is a bit different than what I'm used to from Europe, it wasn't buffet but a voucher to the hotel restaurant. We could choose 2 dishes from the menu, every dish was big and tasty. The service in the restaurant was great as well. The only downside is the price.

Great hotel, the rooms were well laid out, the bed was great, no sag at all. The view from the window in my room on the 37th floor was stunning. The shower had a lot of pressure and the bathroom was clean with the obligatory shampoo and conditioner. The room had an iron and board, a safe and coffee maker with complimentary bottles of water. You could visit the 43rd floor for breakfast, and have Starbucks coffee. Alternatively you could visit the ground floor and have breakfast with table service. Did I mention the elevators were quick. There were a lot of amenities within the hotel, and plenty of restaurants nearby. Forgot to mention there's a pool here also

Marc at check in was wonderful super friendly. The only few problems where in the bath had hair on the floor in many places. And the drawer cover where the safe is was broken and fell on my wife's finger. Marc was nice to give us a room upgrade was amazing view right across from city hall.

Brian was our check in and very helpful. I told him why it was a special occasion and he gave us the best room he had available. Rooms were spacious and clean! I thought I forgot something after check out and they thoroughly checked after. Also, they gave us late check out due to covid. We will be coming back.

Rooms were fine and comfortable, and the staff were kind. The bed have a mattress topper on them for extra comfort. Be warned that they are currently undergoing renovations, so everything might look crowded. Front desk and staff were very attentive. I asked for a tooth brush and vanity kit and they brought it up straight away.

Remember to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ when booking your hotel. They compare hundreds of booking web sites and typically will have rooms a lot cheaper than others! You're welcome :)! This place is the best rated in this area. I've been coming here for a long time. If you choose this place you won't be disappointed. A little getaway to celebrate our anniversary. The energy was contagious! The staff made us feel welcomed and spoiled! From door men, checking in, club lounge concierge and entire team -the customer service was over the top! Loved the new club lounge makeover too! Thank you for a fabulous stay and looking forward to many returns

I'll call it a restful stay. No issues. Had a great view of Nathan Philips Square. Room was clean considering the age of the building. The elevator is super fast. Access to amenities and transportation excellent. The only underwhelming thing is the entrance. Looks like you are being ushered in through a backdoor in an alley. I hope it was due to construction.

This is a beautiful hotel. Great views, good security and underground access to the Eaton's centre. This is our second time staying here. We got a package with late check out and a gift card. Was worth it. Pool was a bit chilly this time but it's fun to be able to swim outside. There's a Tim Hortons right beside the hotel which is awesome.

The only reason I stayed here in the past with my children was because of the rooftop pool. We loved it and thus the reason we paid more than other hotels around the area to visit it again. This time around though, we were very disappointed with the pool setup. If you want to sit anywhere around the pool that is outside, all of the chairs have "Reserved" signs on them with a QR code to scan and pay to reserve them. I was told that you get a few snacks and have to pay $85 to reserve 2 chairs. Apparently it is so outside people can pay to use the pool but not have to stay at the hotel. Makes no sense at all. When I pay $1,000 to stay for 2 nights, that price should at least include the ability to sit near the pool outside. What is the benefit to the person paying to stay at the hotel? Never have I ever stayed at a hotel and had to pay to sit near the pool before. I have two young children that I need to watch while swimming and they wanted to jump in the deep end, but I can't do that properly if I have to sit far away from the pool and behind flower pots. In the 3 days we were there, not once did I see anyone renting the chairs. They all sat empty while everyone had to sit back behind flower pots. Absolutely ridiculous. Definitely will not be returning when that was the only reason we paid way more to stay there than other hotel options.

Beautiful hotel in downtown Toronto. The room was spacious, towels 2/5, ac 5/5, view 4/5, breakfast 2/5, lobby 5/5. We arrived before the 4pm check-in time and they were gracious enough to give us the key to the room. There must be a public clock somewhere close by that chimes every hour on the hour and kept waking us up all night.

Every thing fantastic, staff very helpful & friendly. Room very comfortable & a great city view . Location couldn't of been better. The only criticism is about beds that can be reserved around the pool, reserved beds were empty while people were left lying on the pool side floor. I would like to thank all the staff for making our stay special

I spend 3 nights for a wedding here. The view was fabulous (unfortunately the rain dirtied the windows), the location was on point. I was able to move about the city with ease and from there. No need to go for coffee outside the hotel, they had delicious espresso and the most AMAZING salted caramel scones. Be sure to become a rewards member for the free wifi. It is a 10 minute walk from Union station, so if you are coming from the airport it is easy to get there on your own.I would happily stay here again.

Incredible location, nice decent rooms but not spectacular given age, reception area is efficient and modern/updated. Elevators are prompt to arrive and fast even when hotel is incredibly busy. Pool and gym area are nice. Can do laps in what looks like a 25 metre pool but need to go very early as lots of families around. Parking can be steep at $60 for baket with in and out privileges. Hotel room prices vary and have seen anywhere from $150-400+. Staff are friendly. Lounge has a great view and breakfast is very good.

This hotel meets all the standards for a lux hotel. Professional staff, big and clean rooms, beautiful lobby, at the heart of downtown, and a great customer service, who are willing to help. I travel there 4 days ago with my sister and our rooms were not in the same floor, they changed us to connected rooms, with great view to the downtown, earlier than official check-in time. Dual-citizen resturant there serves an acceptable food. The rooms, are CLEAN, and the bathroom cleaners are great, and the beds are super comfortable. The only downside is the time for using the pool. They close at 10pm and there is no jacuzzi. I recommend this hotel for family and business trips

My husband and I came to the Sheraton to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. We took in Medieval Times and enjoyed some shopping at the very close Eaton Centre. Upon arrival I went to check-in and had the pleasure of being checked in by Mark. He was the absolute sweetest and when he heard it was our anniversary he gave us a complimentary upgrade to a beautiful King Suite. He also gave us complimentary cocktail tickets for the 48 Down Lounge. He was friendly and kind and made us feel very special and welcomed. He was also kind enough to give us recommendations on where to go for delicious eats. We will absolutely be back for another visit and hopefully we will see Mark’s smiling face. He truly went above and beyond and made our weekend that much more special. Thank you Mark!!

Located in the centre of town, this large hotel has everything you need. Very large reception, bar, restaurants, meeting rooms and shops on the ground floor. Fantastic gym and huge pool with all day sun and plenty of sunbeds. Corridors and rooms perhaps a little dated, but all very clean and well equipped. Failed to get wake-up call booked with reception, which wasn't life threatening but meant a mad dash for my transport to the airport that was waiting for me. Other than that, a very pleasant stay.

Not busy at all. I felt safe, the room was comfortable, the pillows were amazing. I especially liked the staff at the Cafe. They were super friendly and attentive. The soup I ordered was really pricey for the amount but worth it for the flavour. On the other hand the fish and chips were okay.

Always a pleasure passing through Toronto and staying a night or two at this establishment. The restaurant is particularly good and the staff are exemplary - alway on hand, always helpful, never intrusive. The rooms are a very good size and have everything you need to keep you sustained. Room service is another thing to be commended. I have stayed here on a number of occasions and really can't see why I would go anywhere else (as a stop over back to London). Five stars ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨

Super pleased with the room. Clean, plenty of space with a desk and a fridge. Nice size bathroom, modern and well maintained. Had a great view. The bed was extremely comfortable. Great location, within walking distance to anything downtown. The food and drinks are a bit on the pricier side.

The room was a little dated and the bathroom was very hard to navigate. the hotel didn't have any laundry facilities so we had to pay $85 for a service. All that being said EVERYTHING else was top-notch. The service was impeccable ---You could find hep anywhere without waiting, the Concierge floor (43rd) level was one of the best I have been to and we have traveled all over the world. Full Breakfasts and dinner, coffees, drinks and the best staff we used it daily and LOVED it. I would recommend this hotel. Also the location was very central so we were able to walk almost everywhere. The photo of waterfall from Lobby.

Honestly i would 100% recommend! Staff was amazing , super nice , always smiling and beeing helpful anytime needed. Great bar in there , bartenders were super nice , prices there were also very reasonable considering we were in Downtown Toronto. Got a room last minute with two queen beds at the 32 floor with a crazy view for under 230$! Room was top clean , still like i said highly recommend 👌

Brought a group to Toronto to see a Blue Jays game. The hotel is about a 20 minute walk to the stadium. I had a regular room, not one of the Status ones. It was well appointed, had all the amenities one would expect plus a few more nice ones. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely come back here.

Beautiful hotel, decent sized rooms with nice bathrooms. Great location downtown T.O. Awesome pool! Arrived Friday, took first shower Sat morning to fine my feet sitting in water due to a large amount of unknown hair on drain. Reported to front desk immediately, told them to remedy immediately. NO ONE came & corrected the situation. We did not use shower/ tub the rest of trip. Advised on check out. No one seemed to care. Check your drains!

Great location in Toronto city centre. Close to so many shops, businesses, and restaurants. My room was very clean and comfortable, great views from 33rd floor. Nice bar and restaurant in lobby for everything from breakfast and coffee to late night drinks and snacks.

Rooms were set at a comfortable room temperature. Water bottles were replaced in the morning. The shampoo and conditioner were amazing! The beds and pillows were super comfortable. The personalized welcome on the tv and the departure message on the tv were a very nice touch. The lady who tended to the suites on our floor (Sept 20th and 21st 6th floor) was super friendly and said hello each time I passed her in the hallway.

I had a great weekend with my family at the Sheraton. I was satisfied with the location and the high-rise city hall view. Since we were traveling with two families, my nephews also liked it because they were able to stay in the connecting room they requested. However, the restaurant was disappointing. After checking in, I visited the dinner restaurant. The open space attached to the lobby was crowded and noisy with many guests. Breakfast was also served in the same space. However, there were many vegetarian menus, and being able to walk to see the Toronto Maple Leafs in the evening was the best. We were with 5 children, ages 3 to 12, and it was a leisurely time to walk for about 10 minutes and do some shopping, including jerseys. I highly recommend this route as it is not difficult for children.

Very nice hotel in the heart of downtown Toronto. Staff are extremely efficient and nice. I was in need of a bandage and some antiseptic and the person at the front desk went out of his way to find some for me. Recommend.

Been to this hotel many times. The staff is always friendly and helpful. One of my favorite memories from this hotel is checking into the hotel 6 months after my previous visit. I got a call from housekeeping. During my previous visit I had forgotten a small almost insignificant item. The had found it and we're calling to return it to me. Not every hotel offers such service.

Lovely setting for business or for pleasure. There’s a beautiful fountain in the middle of the hotel. I didn’t get to enjoy much of the place as I was there only for a day for a conference but will definitely go back to experience more.

I've just had a very bad experience with this hotel. I made a booking by phone about a month ago for my stay at the end of November. In another word, I booked my hotel stay 40 days in advance. After the booking, I expected to receive an email confirmation but it never came. I thought maybe the employee made a mistake and the reservation wasn't made. Ultimately I decided to change to a different hotel. To be safe, I thought I'd call Sheraton in any case to let them know I would not stay there anymore. I called a few times, but the line kept cutting off. Then I thought most probably I don't have a reservation there, plus, my past experience is that hotels only charge after your stay. So I didn't persist calling Sheraton at that time. Now today, I received my credit card statement and a charge from Sheraton for the full amount showed on it on the day I made the reservation. I was shocked. I was also lucky enough to check my charges line by line to spot this charge. This time I AM persistent on calling the hotel. I called 6 times and finally got somebody to help me. Apparently this is how they usually operate. The gentleman was kindly enough to help me process the refund and cancel my booking. Upon request, he provided me a cancellation number over the phone. I will make sure to check my credit card statement next month to look for my refund. It is still 2 weeks away from my scheduled trip. I don't want to have any further surprises dealing Sheraton. This is a very scary experience for me. I could have been stolen all that money without even knowing.

Was here for a conference and the Sheraton rolled out the red carpet. Beautiful hotel with a great team who knows how to treat a guest. Room was smaller but very comfortable. Complimentary breakfast to club members was amazing all week, as well as evening snacks, oh and endless lattes helped. Great Job Sheraton for making my week memorable.

Amazing place, the hotel room assigned to me was breath-taking. Right infront of the Nathan Philips square and the ice skating ring looks really beautiful at night. Accommodated my pets well too. Very pet-friendly hotel. Apart from amenities and experience-sense. Only 3 and a half stars is because We left a 600$ Nike Royal Blue High Jordan shoes and a 300$ woman’s boots which was claimed not found when in it was left behind in the closet because we did not want our dog to chew on it. Very unfortunate but it’s alright. Overall, the hotel room is nice. Just dont forget any valuables if not its deemed lost forever.

We had a quick check in . Our room was not available for early check in so they provided us with an alternate room , which we were really happy with . The room provided cups but their was no creamer or sugar to have with it. Because there was no creamer or sugar we got a cup of coffee from the bar in the main lobby. I do not recommend doing this , it was expensive , not great coffee and the lid popped off and the coffee spilled all over the bed . Cleaning was quick to bring us new bedding and she was super friendly. The room was clean , beds were comfortable , only suggestion would be to get a fan to circulate the air in the bathroom after a hot shower. One complaint was that we choose this hotel for many reasons but the biggest was the pool. It did not say the pool was under renovations , we also called for something and said how excited we were to use the pool. Yet again they never told us it was closed . Along with the pool a large portion Of the hotel was under renovation. The elevators could use some work if you want to get up or down quick . You push the button for down and are not guaranteed to go straight down before going up and down every floor to pick up others. There was also people outside drinking and carrying on . It woke me up at 230 and they continued until 6 before they packed up and left. I could have and should have called to complain but I did not. Other than that the hotel was an over all good experience . Tips :Breakfast was not included , you could order it but we ordered 3 meals through skip the dishes for a lot cheaper than what the restaurant had to offer. Tip 2: if your looking for snacks for the kids etc you won’t find it at the hotel . How ever there is a 7/11 down the street. Over all the rooms are clean , comfy , staff is very positive and happy , location is not too bad neither .

Remember to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any resort. This web site will compare thousands of hotel sites and usually will have rates a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This resort is one of my favorites in the area. I have been staying here for a very long time. If you decide to stay here you won't be let down. Fantastic weekend! The hotel is on the perfect location for almost anywhere you want to go. The hotel is very beautiful and our rooms were perfect! Charles, the front desk clerk who checked us in, was terrific and very helpful! Definitely going to come back soon!

OUT OF DATE. Old style, old gross carpet, old bathroom, and limited amenities. The air flow wasn't great and I've had better pillows at a two star in Cuba! Also no information about the hotel and surrounding area was given. The hotel is in a good location, check-in fast, relatively clean with large rooms but I wouldn't spend money to come back.

Solid 4-4.5 stars for this Sheraton. Lovely staff and very convenient to everything! The small deduction is for the dusty/aged carpet and the very small bathroom. We had 4 people to the room (2 adults and 2 teens) and it was tight. The beds felt small even though they’re supposed to be queens. We were told at check in (which was friendly, quick and smooth, despite it was done by a staff on training) that they had upgraded our room to king size beds. Luckily, we didn’t stay in the hotel much but would have appreciated a little more room for when we were in and the bathroom. Beautiful lobby and loved the overall vibe and energy. Easy and more economic city parking had direct and easy access to the hotel too. I would definitely recommend the hotel, just know what you’ll be expecting when it comes to the room aesthetics. But again, such friendly staff!!

Nice room and facilitates, lobby is a bit of mess, the coffee machine in the room isn't so great, lobby has better coffee. Ask for a higher floor because the view is quite good with the big glass windows, especially when it's snowing.

The pool is currently closed for renovations. This was not stated anywhere on their website when we booked, or mentioned to us via email or phone call. We were extremely upset to find this out upon check-in as it was the reason we booked this hotel. The front desk agent gave us a $100 room credit for this inconvenience after I expressed my disappointment (although her first offer was to cancel our reservation for us!). We used half the credit on breakfast, but otherwise it was useless as we had plans to dine out for other meals. The pillows are literally flat and we had to request more (which took over an hour to receive) I had to stack 3 on top of one another. The bed itself was comfortable. Room was outdated and a bit musty smelling. The bathroom had a broken toilet seat, one roll of toilet paper, and no fan. Great location and nice view, but that's the only positive I can muster up about this hotel. At $400 per night, this was not even close to a 4 star hotel, so if you are expecting any sort of luxury or amenities, book elsewhere.

Nice rooms and good location. The hotel entrance is not visible from outside. So if anyone is looking to get there then you might have to look around a bit to find the entrance as it's located a bit inside of the building.

I was pleasantly surprised with my stay at the Sheraton. My room was upgraded upon check-in. It was very spacious with a great view of city hall. 2 issues I experienced were handled very well. There was no hair dryer in the room, & when I called the front desk they delivered one in 10 minutes. Also, the air conditioning in the room wasn't working. I got back to the room late in the evening and didn't bother calling about it. When I checked out in the morning, I told the front desk person and they provided me with a $50 room credit. Great customer service!!!!

Stayed, or was supposed to stay, for one night in November. Lobby was clean. Representative was friendly. Got to my room and had to drop my stuff off so I could attend a conference. Went into bathroom first and the toilet was filthy. As if a bomb went off in the toilet. Called to have the bathroom cleaned while I was at the conference. Came back to the room 2+ hours later and it was cleaned. That said, two panels were now off in the bathroom ceiling, dirt from the removal all over the floor and tub. The sheets had stains on them. The phone and table surfaces were filthy. I was shocked. Went to the main reception and advised them. They didn’t seem surprised. Offered me another room but I declined as I have serious concerns with the cleanliness. I took photos and showed them. I don’t like leaving negative reviews. I contacted Sheraton to give them a chance to explain what had happened but they did not care to respond and so I’m leaving this review for others to beware.

Had a good 2 night stay at the Sheraton and enjoyed the well equipped gym facilities and lobby food service. We were able to check in whenever we wanted and that was convenient. Since I didn’t have my credit card (though I had successfully prepaid with my debit card), I had to put a $300 deposit on my room. Now this is the strange part. I had booked a room for my friend and we were treated quite differently upon checkout. There was a long lineup at noon for those checking in and I was told that someone from the hotel had to check my room before I could get my deposit refunded back on my debit card. So I was told to wait 10 minutes. However, my friend, who also didn’t have her credit card on her, was able to get her refund to her debit card immediately even though we didn’t do anything different and had left the rooms at the same time. We were told she had a note on her file that her room had been checked. Not sure when that happened as we both said goodbye to the housekeeping person at the same time. The policies for credit/debit are a bit outdated, I think, poorly followed and variable. Without this inconvenience, this hotel stay would have received 5 stars.

The arrival was good. The hotel is under construction in the lobby, so you have to go down one level. The staff do a good job at directing you where to go. It's laid out the best the hotel could do in order to open during the pandemic. Everyone was very friendly. We got a great room overlooking Nathan Phillips square, City Hall and Osgoode Hall. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Thanks for the stay and looking forward to seeing the new lobby when it's done.

Very nice, clean hotel that is conveniently pet friendly for travellers. Main issues were with staff and guest services. We phoned multiple times for amenities to be sent up to the room, which were either delivered over an hour later (after 3 phone calls) or didn’t show up at all. The reason was repeatedly “we’re very busy” with no effort to ensure better service. We noticed the parking and concierge was quite disorganized, with some employees exhibiting rude behaviour towards guests. Reception staff was wonderful and kind on arrival. Rooms were clean and comfortable for the stay. Overall nice but not worth $400-500/night.

Absolutely the best hotel we've stayed at in the city. Check in/check out was seamless. Amenities were amazing, clean, well stocked, well managed... and it's a really busy spot. Hats off to all the staff there. "I feel like a king" is how my youngest summed it up while walking back to the room.

Extremely happy after my stay here. It was a short stay but the staff was super helpful. Shoutout to Front desk person Marc- who was extremely helpful. We had 2 rooms and he gave us connecting rooms which made it so much more convenient. Service was great. The rooms and washrooms were clean. The location is very convenient. Thanks for making our stay comfortable!

The rooms are wonderful. Good beds. Great views. The people are outstanding. You can't get better staff. I don't know how they get such incredible people there so consistantly. The pool area could use a hot tub - the water is too cold for some and it sure would be nice to hang out in a hot tub while the kids play. The parking fees suck, period. It's not clear booking online that you'll be paying $40+ per day for parking. Upgrade your room to premium for $160 a night? You'll still pay for all that parking. It stinks.

This Sheraton hotel is at a great location with decent amenities and great service. I would stay here again. I stayed here for a week for work in downtown Toronto. The check-in process was easy and the initial room was very nice and clean. However I realized later at night that it was right behind the high speed elevator that was way too loud for me so I complained to the front desk. They were very understanding and accommodating. I immediately got a new room on a different floor of the hotel with a great view. I wish they had included the breakfast for the high daily rate that I was paying. The cleaning lady was an older African lady who was very nice and polite and she did a great job cleaning the room daily. I didn't have a bathrobe and slippers that I requested and I was told that they were out of stock but they would provide them as soon as they get more. I got them the next day. The best part of this hotel is that escalators from the lobby down connect you to the underground path which connects with all the major downtown Toronto buildings, so you can shop and get around walking even in very bad weather. Highly recommend this hotel for downtown Toronto stays.

Booked the hotel for their pool via Priceline. On Priceline it said pool is available as part of the amenities, so we went ahead and booked. We arrived at the hotel (through its dizzying construction maze to get to the reception desk in their basement floor) - and checked in only to find out there is no pool and we had already prepaid via Priceline. They wouldn’t refund us our money even though the whole reason why we chose this hotel over others was that they advertised as having a pool available via Priceline. Unacceptable.

This hotel is fantastic! It's right in the middle of the city and has amazing views. The lobby looks great with a waterfall, garden and kept the bees (which they use to harvest natural honey from for some of the dishes at the restaurants). My only real gripe is that the rooms could use some refreshing. The wallpaper on the walls and other small things are in need of repair. But overall, the hotel was really nice and conveniently located!

Don't forget to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking your place. This website will compare thousands of booking web sites and usually will have prices much cheaper compared to others! You're welcome :)! This place is one of the highest rated in the area. I've been coming here for years. If you decide to stay here you won't regret it. Despite being able to book for a little cheaper at other places around the core, i always end up booking at the Sheraton. Front desk staff is great, as are the rooms, gym and pool. I've never had a complaint. I feel it is great value for money compared to other places

Recently stayed here for a few nights and the hotel was decent overall although there is a ton of construction and renovations in progress right now - and it definitely made it challenging for transportation in and out. I’d recommend waiting to book your visit here once the work is completed.

Hi, i just spent 3 days at your hotel and i really enjoyed my room. I realized that the hotel was undergoing renovations and due to covid precaution, service was not as usual. I had checked out and moved to another marriott property when i realized that i couldn't find my tiffany necklace which was given to me from my daughter. I called the hotel and was put through to Andrew Olis, Sheraton LP who was very kind and helpful. Lucky for me the room hadn't been cleaned due to covid and was still in the state I had left it. Andrew allowed me to return and search the room and handed me gloves so i could go through the waste as i had suspected of throwing it out by mistake, and sure enough it was wrapped in a tissue paper. If it wasn't for Andrews kindness I would never have gotten my precious necklace back. Thank you Andrew so much for taking the time to help me! I will always remember this! I will come back! Isabella from Vancouver B.C.

Our room was a little small for the 4 of us. Great view, service was great. Valet parking guys were great. Currently under renovation. One of the elevators is broken or something it was making crazy loud sounds like a rope was caught or something, kind of scary. Overall great stay, close to everything!
