A wonderful stay! Spent 2 night, all the staff were lovely and attentive. Our room was clean and spacious. The cleaning staff did a wonderful job replenishing supplies. We ordered breakfast to our room one morning and it was very delicious and extremely timely. We were impressed and it kept our morning on track. I would agree with many precious reviews that the rooms are very dark. This was fine with us, it was a warm cozy atmosphere for the short evenings we spent in the room. However if you’re looking for bright and airy, this may not be the first choice. Otherwise, could not have been a more ideal location, we walked almost everywhere! We would love to stay here again the next time we’re in Toronto, and will check out their other locations in the future!

Stayed here while visiting Toronto and would absolutely stay here again. The hotel staff was completely phenomenal! Everyone was extremely nice and very accommodating! The food was exceptional and we wouldn’t have been more pleased. Food options were amazing! Hotel is close enough to walk to the Hockey Hall of Fame. Rooms were extremely clean, very large, and very comfy. Would absolutely recommend it to anyone!

My wife and I just finished a stay here celebrating our 10th anniversary. To say our stay was wonderful would be an understatement. This hotel, and especially the staff, are fantastic. I had questions about the area and the concierge was always willing to help and incredibly friendly. They helped us book a few cabs, make dinner reservations, and gave us some advice about the area. The staff that provided room service was great as well. Including delivering us a dessert unexpectedly when they found out it was our anniversary, and it was delicious. The spa experience was also wonderful, and helped us relax during our time away. The location was perfect for walking to nearby shops as well as the public transit. I honestly can't say enough positive things about this place. 10/10 and if we ever return to Toronto we'll absolutely stay here again!

Highly recommend. Staff are wonderful, they treat you like you ARE royalty. The lobby is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL and have these astonishing HUGE chess decorative pieces that I adore. They know how to keep things in great condition while still maintaining the history of the building and your room is very spacious with a ton of character! I absolutely loved my stay here. Thank you.

Absolutely loved this historic hotel. We were able to walk about and imagine what it must have been like when it was first built. Lots of history to learn within the building. Staff were outstanding.

We went here for their brunch specials during Christmas season. Booking was fast, initially we sent an e-mail then after days we left a message. Someone called us back confirming our reservation date and time. We arrived a bit early but we were seated right away. The staff were all friendly especially the person assigned to us. There was a big selection of food and arranged nicely from breads, jams, main dishes such as salmon, egg benedict, hams, vegetables, pasta. The salad bar was full of different food as well. We enjoyed their drinks: coffee and juices. The desserts are something you should try if ever you’re attending to one of their brunches, especially their pudding. We had an amazing time and we look forward on our next visit here. Thank you all to the employees! We truly appreciate your service.

My husband and I stayed here for New Years Eve (I'm writing this review from the room) and had a very enjoyable stay. The location is perfect for us as we travelled in by train. I am physically disabled and had no trouble making it from Union Station to the hotel. It is not only a visually impressive place in a very accessible/convenient location; it is also warm and welcoming due to the friendly and knowledgable staff. We enjoyed a few drinks after attending a theatre performance (also within walking distance from the hotel), and those working in the kitchen and bar area truly made our night. It was also nice to know that staffers were making sure all guests had a good night's sleep as there were zero noise issues (and on New Years Eve I was expecting some level of sleep-disruption). I still can't get over how soundly I slept in the luxurious king size bed! I would highly recommend staying here, and will be looking forward to future visits. This place is a true delight!

I booked a 2-queen room for my son’s 20th birthday. It was important that he and his friends had a wonderful stay. The staff at the King Edward were incredibly helpful, friendly and accommodating. They even gave my son a little gift bag on arrival. So thoughtful! He couldn’t have had a better stay. Thank you King Edward.

All staff I came in contact with were very professional and courteous. Staff appeared very happy to assist me in any way. The hotel was gorgeous, and the rooms were fresh, clean and comfortable. I was so please to get a connecting room for my kids traveling with my wife and I on our summer road trip. My biggest issue was that I was unable to get a confirmation of my connecting room request prior to arrival, so I felt I was left in limbo until I arrived. Location is within walking distance to the heart of Downtown and very near great TTC transit connections, so access is great. Parking was not the best set up, but a great hotel and comfy room was more important to me, and this place was a great choice. If I return to Toronto, this hotel will be the only place I'd consider.

Great location, upscale rooms and super friendly staff. My kids left our Apple Pencil in the room and we didn't realize it till the next day. I called the hotel but they didn't have it. They sent someone upstairs to double check and fifteen minutes later, they called me, telling me that they had found it in the bed linens. I really appreciate the extra effort they put into helping us.

Amazing hotel and easily one of the best hotels I have stayed. Unfortunately I didn't sleep the greatest at all on the first night, but the service is very friendly, thanks Leah for being amazing and giving my dad and I some bonuses since we didn't get the ideal room we had booked! Though, I did not sleep well the first night, I still have to give this hotel five stars because of how amazing the rooms were, the nice views and sunlight, as well as how comfortable and clean they were. This hotel is a great place to stay for visitors of Toronto, and those who want to have a great experience of the city. I am from Toronto myself, and I felt like that this hotel really welcomed me to the city in a positive way. Thanks to the people who helped my dad out!

Until today I hadn't been for high tea at the King Edward Hotel since before their major renovation. My last experience was absolutely beautiful, sitting in their elegant lobby with the freshest most beautiful high tea sandwiches and petit fours (pastries or small oven bite-size confectionery). Today for $142 before gratuity, I experienced probably the most substandard high tea of my life. The sandwiches were on dried out bread. The smoked salmon was fishy. The roast beef was dry. The pastries were uninspired and bland. The scones were average but the best part of the high tea served with clotted cream and strawberry jam. The service area has no ambience certainly nothing to be compared with the refined sense of high tea ceremony that was enjoyed in days past. The highlight was the company with whom I had the pleasure to spend the afternoon.

I love this hotel. It's elegant, well located, easy access and personal excellent service! When I visited in the middle of November, it was already decorated for Christmas, and it was adorable! With a huge Christmas tree 🎄 in the main reception area and other trees all around. Great restaurant and bar. Rooms clean and good size with safety box, mini fridge, and coffee/tea maker facilities. Bath ropes, hair dryer, and all necessary toiletries as expected for a high ranked hotel. Walking distance to all tourist attractions. I will definitely be back.

Amazing facility, very luxurious, and the staff were absolutely incredible at every stage, from the minute I arrived to the minute I left. They were very calm and friendly, extremely professional, dignified and experienced, were ready to solve any problem with ease and grace. My suite was amazing. And even though the hotel is located downtown in a rather busy area, the only thing I ever heard were just the gentle passing of streetcars. Although in a higher price range than I typically do, after a number of bad experiences I wanted to ensure that I had some time to rest and recuperate before my long travel home. And they provided that for me with excellence!

This was my first time staying at the King Edward and it definitely won't be my last! I had the best hotel service from Madeleine and Brian who were so courteous and helpful and took my stay from a 5/5 to 6/5! The rooms were plush and beautiful and super spacious (love the tall ceilings too). I also had the chance to go to the Mokara Spa and had such a delightful experience there too, and it's amazing to stay in a hotel where there's a full service spa. I'd encourage anyone when they stay here to go on a walk of the hotel, there's so much rich history here. And the best part? The cost was surprisingly reasonable given the outstanding service and heritage/beauty of the hotel. Thank you King Eddy!

I had an Airbnb fiasco and was able to book a room here late in the evening and showed up within an hour after making the reservation. I called the hotel directly to book and the customer service was excellent. The room was very clean, bathroom was large and spotless. Eco-fridge in the room, no microwave. Very quiet, I am a light sleeper and I got great sleep. What I didn't like was how dark the bedroom was. It was an interior room, smallish window, but absolutely insufficient artificial lighting in the bedroom. It was bad enough I decided to just move along to another hotel the next day, which I am glad I did because the next hotel room had an amazing view and lighting for a better price but was not as clean so there was a trade off. My actual home where I live is very well lit, so I just could not justify these accommodations while on vacation. It was an overall good experience for a one night emergency reservation.

Best hotel with nice location. Our room was on the highest floor and it was no problem, despite there is no elevator, so you have to climb some stairs . I am sure, we will come back to this hotel, it is a highly recommended place in Budapest. The reception was super friendly, and helpful. I had a lot of question about programs , and they helped me. It is very professional. The cleanliness was also great. Only the breakfast should be better, but it was good too.

Royal Majestic Purple, how cool is that. For a 120 year old historical hotel, well maintained and beautiful. Pet friendly. The staff, bell hops, valet, chamber maids, (2) restaurants, and front desk are all so friendly to make stay your feel like you belong there. Parking 6' 10" or 2.08 meters or less. A dog park two blocks away easy access and is beautiful with a Hugh fountain. Downtown close to Young St. Transportation, taxis, buses, street cars, and subway systems are close by. Double deck tour bus nearby.

Stay in this hotel recently while in town for a close friend's wedding. The hotel is magnificent - its 120 years old but gives a very elegant feel to it. The staff where great. And a HUGE thank you and appreciation to one of the front desk staff - Ms. M Wood who went out of her way to help me get some documents sorted out since the business center was not working at all. To her 10 Stars for the help. All in all the stay I had was great. Location was very convenient I must say, a few steps away was the King TTC subway line. Most things to see if you wanted to get some exercise and walk was a few minutes away. All in all highly recommend this hotel. If I am every back in town would definitely stay again.

What's here for a wedding period so can only talk about their reception. it was a beautiful venue, very Elegant and well organize. Staff was very helpful and friendly,The food was delicious and well prepared. The hotel itself is very beautiful however I can't speak to the rooms since I didn't stay at the hotel. I would recommend it as a wedding venue though or a reception hall

This was a last minute booking for us as our original accommodations fell through. We are so glad they fell through because we loved every minute of our 3 night stay at the Omni King George! From the moment we checked in the service could not be more friendly and professional. They did everything they could to make our stay pleasant and comfortable. In a day and age where service professionalism seems to be eroding, the King George goes above and beyond with each staff member going the extra mile. The property is beautiful with elements of old school charm and modern conveniences. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The location is central to many of the great things Toronto has to offer. Would we stay at this property again? In a heartbeat :-)

Great hotel. Comfortable rooms. We had a deluxe but the view from our expensive room is showing attached. Good shower, handle came off in my hand but still works. Breakfast in breakfast salon. Very good. Great staff everywhere. Eat elsewhere for dinner as the only option is the bar in the lobby. Too loud and boisterous. Great experience but for the price unfortunately I will be staying elsewhere in future. Sadly never again.

We booked a stay for my parents for their 40th wedding anniversary and the service, attentiveness and friendliness couldn’t have been better. We would like to specifically thank Mr. Jin Park for his excellent and special welcome for our parents and the stunning room! The wide choice of breakfast as well as the wonderful service and food quality at the bar are another reason why to recommend to stay at the King Edward. Thank you very much!

This is a very wonderful place with a great location in downtown Toronto. It is kind of close to so many restaurants and it is not that far from the Union Station. Good size rooms with great customer service. The staff were very much over pleasant.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 days to celebrate our Anniversary. From start to finish it was an unforgettable experience. Omni hotels are always a superior choice but the team at The King Edward Hotel really did everything to make our stay amazing! Thank you and we look forward to staying again at your lovely hotel!

I had a great stay at this hotel and would recommend it to everyone. All of the staff were very polite, helpful, and friendly--from the front desk, to concierge, to bartender, to guest services. Very quaint, quiet and clean. Rooms are smaller but perfect for a couple. The bathroom is very nice and clean. Cool common area. Very nice restaurant, the bar is very unique too. One of the older hotels in the area (I mean this in a positive way). Great location, nice staff! Would highly recommend.

Exceptional service from check-in to check-out. Extra large rooms with seating area. All encounters with staff made us feel welcome (front desk, , room service, cleaning, concierge). Clean, elegant, extra dressing mirrors!, closet space, bath robes, 2 luggage stands (thank you), climate control worked great, service (from Kenny) and food at Consort Bar was awesome. This is a well-staffed hotel. Any extras we needed were delivered to our room, unlike some bigger chains where you need to go to lobby to fetch extras like pillows, ice, etc., yourself. Can't beat the location in downtown TO - 1/2 block to King subway station and walking distance to tons of stuff.

We had a wonderful experience from start to finish hosting our wedding at The Omni King Edward Hotel. Vincent was extremely helpful and responsive and made the planning process a breeze, especially given the tight timeline we were working with. Day of, service was professional and efficient and the staff took wonderful care of our guests. A fabulous night at a fabulous venue.

We recently had to make an emergency trip to Toronto as our granddaughter was in hospital. As such, our visit was filled with stress, but the staff at the Omni King Edward Hotel helped to reduce it. What sets this hotel apart from others? We love the hotel’s central downtown location, the spacious rooms and the convenient and inviting breakfast room. The Consort Bar is stylish, intimate and has tasty, reasonably-priced dinner options. But aside from location and amenities, it’s the King Eddy staff that is the tipping point. From the doorman to the front desk, to the waiters and the chambermaids, everyone is friendly, welcoming and professional. On this visit, a card signed by staff and accompanied by balloons was sent to our room. This display of empathy at a time when we were feeling very concerned is indicative of the hotel’s high standard of service. Hands down, this hotel is our favourite hotel in Toronto.

Like any other hotel, it’s first come first serve; which makes it difficult when you’re driving and arriving late hours. We wanted our room close with our children but they didn’t have any available by the time we arrived. Even though we called ahead of time that we were definitely coming, so not so accommodating for families. Other than that, this hotel is located right in the middle of great shopping centers and restaurants, within walking distance too. They have valet parking($$) or self parking($) and customer service is excellent, they responded promptly to our requests. Rooms are nice and clean.

I went online to book a spa package and hotel stay which was recommended to me by the spa associate I originally chatted with today who was very lovely. This package amounted to $530 all inc. with taxes for a one night stay. After some very simple math the alleged $200.00 spa "Credit" that is included in this package is the hotel's way of taking your money and giving it to the spa in advance of your stay, what an absolute joke!!! I attempted to call in and speak with someone about this and they had the audacity to say to me "we're not forcing you to book anything" thanks Jin ^__^. The truth of it is the shady business practice that the King Edward Hotel is offering. Here is how it looks to me. Give us your money in advance and we'll advise you that you're getting a "Spa Credit" when meanwhile they're using your money to pay the spa IN ADVANCE. This is not a deal in any way shape or form, and a very poor look for such a beautiful hotel with a robust history. This has left a bad taste in my mouth and the fact that the hotel employee tried to justify this to me is absurd and offensive frankly. His final attempt at justifying this was by telling me I would get free self parking. Where is the "$200 spa credit VALUE". Very, very poor business practice. I'll be staying at the Four Seasons instead and would suggest that hotel to anyone looking for an honest establishment. Five thumbs down for the way this was handled. Hopefully, someone in management sees this and contacts me to rectify, absolutely, terrible.

Our flight arrived early, and we were graciously accommodated. The front desk staff (especially Madelyn (I believe that is her name!) so kind and helpful), the doormen and everyone in between is simply excellent. It was our second time at this hotel since April, and it will not be our last. Customer service goes a long way, and this hotel has got the best.

I felt really excited to attend the Crystal Room for a Christmas party. I chose to have the poached salmon as an entree. I am not a huge fan of fish but decided to order it because I have food restriction issues. Most if it tasted good, but when I got to the middle I discovered it was undercooked. Wait staff were great when I told them about it. They offered me another plate, but I declined. They told the chef who responded that this is the nature of poaching. I felt put off considering I was in a high end establishment and I don't usually eat fish this way. The person I sat beside had no problems with her plate. I just though I would leave a review to share my experience.

I booked a deluxe suite for two nights for my wedding. It was the perfect choice! The room had plenty of room to more than comfortably fit 9 people for getting ready including hair and makeup with all tools. We had contact with Joan throughout the process who was very responsive and great to work with. All the staff who we had contact with was super helpful and kind. We loved our stay and 10/10 would recommend for others!

We shot a wedding here in the Crystal Ballroom. From a wedding photographer's perspective, the suite we were in for getting ready photos was spacious and bright. The ceremony and reception was held in the beautiful crystal ballroom - an amazing location with tons of windows and bright natural light. The staff were great and the food was excellent.

This is the biggest and fanciest hotel that I have been to. I think this hotel is underrated. It is a 4 star hotel but I think IT SHOULD BE A 5 STAR HOTEL. I been in this hotel 1 week ago and here's what happened. I checked in a little bit late but it was okay. I didn't have to do a lot of waiting like a lot of other hotels. This place is also flooded with art work. Anyways when I got to my hotel room the first thing I did was unpack and when I got home from the hotel I always felt like I forgot something at our hotel. The TV was easy to work. The wifi is free and the bed was a 8/10. The food there was also pretty fine. There was also water and a coffee maker in our room. There is also a 24 hour gym there. The down side was the bathroom was very small and for some stupid reason there was not a fan in there. There were about two window in our room but you can't open it for some fresh air. The view outside the window was sad and terrible. and lastly every now and then in my hotel I heard sirens or someone yelling from out side the entire building.

The house keeping staff was outstanding, Margaret and the other two woman were fantastic very polite and accommodating. The room was exceptionally clean each day. Vincent also from housekeeping was very welcoming and assisted us with getting us the room items we requested. Had us feeling that we were not a bother for wanting yoga mats etc....actually brought us a bag that had items we did not think we could ask for. We were very impressed. Front desk staff were OK, not as warm as the support staff but they did what they needed to do. Restaurant manager in the room where we had High Tea and staff are wonderful we felt that they enjoyed what they do and were very gracious to us. Doormen were OK also. Gym is excellent. Unfortunately the days we stayed there was no Spa and no room service due to the pandemic.

A great hotel to stay at if you’re visiting Toronto! Located right downtown in a convenient location. The front desk is super nice, friendly and helpful. I checked in with no issues after booking a stay via Amex. I was upgraded to a deluxe King suite and it was so spacious. Also loved the Nest products and prompt housekeeping. I also took advantage of the gym access on the mezzanine floor. It had a ton of equipment - I was the only one there when I used it. I also checked out Mokara Spa for a massage (fantastic) and the bar (great cocktails). Would highly recommend!

The place was nice and most importantly (to me) clean. Room was small but I did book the cheapest one, and with that came a view of a brick wall. That said I was supposed to be upgraded to not the cheapest. So not sure it there is a cheaper/worse one. But that’s it for negatives. Service was great and the hotel was beautiful. For what it was it is reasonable, I think. The breakfast was very good the service for it great too. In fact I encourage you to have breakfast there.

Outstanding staff!! Hosted our daughters wedding in the crystal ballroom. Amazing is an understatement. Sarah Railey can’t thank you enough for making sure every detail was perfect, with all the restrictions/guideline challenges you faced you managed to make their day spectacular. Your guidance and planning was beyond expectations, wish every couple that is getting married could have someone as incredible as you to guide them!! Everyone at the King Edward hotel was beyond friendly and efficient. Thank you Melanie, Toby and Gregorio for all your help!!! The service was top notch and the food was delicious and beautifully presented, hats off to the amazing chef and his team. Aside from the clean room, the lovely atmosphere, I was disappointed on the customer service with regards to having ice delivered to my room. As silly as this might sound, every time I asked (at the front desk) for some ice (in a bucket), I was told, "please go to the mezzanine where the ice machine is" (I was on the 6th floor). Then I would up to my room, and call from my room, and ask the same question, and either someone would say, "could you go to the mezzanine please" OR "absolutely, we will have someone deliver that to your room." Not a huge issue, but wanted to give a reason for the 3 out of 5 stars. Customer service is always in the details.

We hosted a bachelorette party, which included Afternoon Tea and an evening of games and activities in a Luxury King Suite at the hotel. The Afternoon Tea was a wonderful experience and the perfect way to start off our day. The luxury suite was very spacious and the perfect suite to host our event. Toby, the manager, was extremely accommodating throughout the whole planning and booking experience. He gave me a tour of a few of the suites to ensure the layout worked with what we had planned. We also communicated via email to ensure everything was arranged according to our requests.

Just checked in and struggled a lot with my luggage up on arrival. No concierge or any porter at all to help with the luggage. As soon as I got in, the first employer told me off as I didn't manage to put my face mask on and still no help with the luggage. That is not a 5 star hotel service. Disappointed so far. The reception girls are fab! Super nice and friendly!

Thank you to the manager Danny for his 5 star service! We opted for this hotel on Mar 18-20 to splurge for an occasion, and it was worth the extra money compared to the Fairmont. The lobby is nice and the staff is welcoming (often with snacks), front desk staff is attentive and even asked about our weekend plans. The doormen/ bell staff were friendly and eager to help where possible. The hotel gym is expansive and has everything you need, definitely one of the better hotel facilities in the city. Drinks at Consort bar were nice, although it did get loud before the dinner hour. The room was excellent and updated, especially for an older hotel. Overall great experience and will be back.

After a long and snowy road trip, from Montreal to Toronto, we arrived at the hotel at 1am with three very cranky and tired kids. We were warmly greeted by Crystal, and she instantly made the kids smile by giving them little welcome bags. She checked us in quickly and was very helpful with getting us aquatinted with the hotel. Crystal, along with all of the other staff at the hotel were friendly, polite and helpful. The building itself is clean with luxurious decor. The rooms are quite large, clean, and seem to have been recently renovated. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay at this hotel and will recommend it to friends and family.

I'm in love with King Edward! When I come to Toronto to visit friends and family, this is where I stay. I fell in love with the place the first time I saw Leonard Cohen lounging around there in "I Am A Hotel". Fans of Leonard should look it up on YouTube, it's a gem. Though a bit run down in the mid-eighties, the elegance of the hotel shone through. I stayed at the King Eddie the first time in 2017 and thought it was exceptionally beautiful, the renovation was thoroughly well done. I love the hotel for the following reasons: - It has a significant history, which makes it magical for me. Staying there is a bit like being in an episode of Downton Abbey. - It's conveniently located, a short walk to the harbour front or the Eaton Center. - The food is excellent. - The neighbouring streets are quiet at night, but by day are bustling and full of great restaurants and coffee shops. - The staff are friendly, professional and gracious. - As a government employee, the hotel offers me a good rate. - We can bring our beloved dog. - The hotel is just so damned beautiful! Why would I ever stay anywhere else?

A very nice hotel with charm. My check in was very pleasant and not rushed. The person checking me in took the time to explain the facilities and dining options. I was then escorted to my room. the room was spacious with a large desk and a cloud like bed. The attached bathroom however was quite small with the toilet being flushed nearly against the wall. Well for a big tall guy, this was quite uncomfortable but I managed. Another thing I didn’t like was that there was no armchair in the room. Apart from the desk chair and bed, there was no other place to sit. I would have thought a hotel of this calibre would have included this kind of furnishing in their rooms. Despite the two minor shortcomings of the room, I did enjoy my time there. As a guest with a disability I was treated very well. I had no trouble getting food delivered to my room via outside sources nor did experience any noise issues. Sleeping in the bed was very restful. The one time I used room service I was overjoyed to see real china and silverware being used rather than the paper box cartons now used by many hotels. Wifi was very good and I had no problems streaming movies to watch or music to listen to. I was intending to use the gym but got lazy and decided to enjoy the room instead and got some work done that I had brought along. Overall a solid 4.5 star stay; if there had been an armchair in the room I would have given my stay a 5. However services was definitely 5 stars. I would consider staying here again. Thank you.

Great experience with the hotel. Very friendly people and very good service. Very nice room. Some rooms are too dark and may need more lightening especially rooms where natural light is blocked by buildings, and the curtains don't fully open either. Room service also is only for breakfast and dinner starting 5pm. Would be great if it is available during daytime.

We and our families had the pleasure of staying at the King Edward on our wedding day. From check in to check out, it was a beautiful experience. The hotel staff went above and beyond allowing us access to one of their stunning ballrooms so that we could take some beautiful family photos...I really can't thank them enough! I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious hotel with wonderful service in the heart of Toronto!

Perfect location downtown, close to the subway, and great restaurants. The consort downstairs is lots of fun and very classy. Great bar snacks and selection. Rooms were clean and well appointed. Bed and sheets were very comfortable.

Our family enjoyed the Thanksgiving brunch at the King Edward on October 9, 2022. The selections were wonderful, from breakfast eggs to meats & seafood, then the cheese, fruit, and dessert sections. The serving staff were very helpful & friendly. We would recommend this experience for those hoping to avoid your own Thanksgiving cooking and clean-up. A relaxing & enjoyable outing.

This is my second time at this hotel and as expected they did not disappoint. The staff all around the hotel are helpful and friendly - including security. The lobby is beautiful and the rooms are so spacious and well decorated. The beds were very comfy, best sleep I've had in a long time. I can't wait to come back! Until next time.

Very good hotel with an excellent service and very good located (5min walking from Union central station). The rooms are very well decorated and spacious, very clean and and with a very nice bathroom. The breakfast could offer a little bit bigger variety of choices considering the price of the breakfast. I surely recommend to stay at the hotel.

I inadvertently left my cell in the car upon valet. Upon realizing it was missing I called the front desk and asked that it be pulled from the car and held at the front desk. When I went to the front desk to retrieve it I was told that the cell was not in the car. The valet then accompanied me to the car where we both did a search to no avail. I continued with my dinner plans and upon retiring to the hotel I asked to be brought back to the car for another search. The night manager graciously accompanied me to the car and with eagle eyes located the cell on the inside lip of the trunk. Minor catastrophic event adverted! Bravo to the fine and dedicated King Edward team. I am grateful for their dedication to guest service.

Unfortunately, we did not enjoy the afternoon tea. Way way overpriced for what you get! While the tea itself was excellent, the super tiny sandwiches and the tasteless sugary desserts were completely dissatisfying. The ambiance also has seen its better days - dated and windowless. Staff was wonderful. I do not recommend.

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights and had a wonderful experience! We loved the decor of the room, it had a very "luxe" feel. The bathrooms, linens, and towels were AMAZING. The entire staff was extremely friendly and made us feel really welcomed and special. The valet staff were especially helpful and accommodating. Thank you for a wonderful time. We will be back for sure.

We had our wedding at the King Edward and stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. We had an amazing experience. The hotel staff was very attentive. The bridal suite was large and luxurious. The Sovereign Ballroom was breath-taking. It was also a great location for our friends visiting from out of town because of how central it was. We highly recommend it as a wedding venue.

I am not a fan of Omni elsewhere, but this hotel is gorgeous and completely different. It’s so quiet since it’s an old building, and the way the door to the room has a small hallway off to the side. Clean, beautifully decorated rooms. (A hand towel ring would be nice in the bathroom- my only suggestion) All in all, highly recommended- feels so luxurious.
