I got into my room late at night and found a towel in the washroom with dried blood on it. The countertop also had strands of short black hair on it. I called and reported it and was offered another room. I wasn't able to change rooms because I was staying on the same floor as my colleagues and felt safer being close to them. I had also already unpacked my suitcase. I asked for lysol wipes so I can clean the place myself. The young man who brought over the wipes was very apologetic and assured me he'd let the manager know. After settling in bed, the heater (which is extremely loud and archaic) was stuck on 18.5 degrees because the button to increase the temperature was jammed. After struggling with the thermostat, I was able to find a paperclip and managed to pry it out. In the morning I went to the front desk and reported the incident again. I can overlook the heater, but the fact that the washroom and the soiled towel were clearly not cleaned well, ESPECIALLY DURING A PANDEMIC, is completely unacceptable. I was told that the manager will be in touch with me and they asked for my phone number which I provided to them. By the time I checked out the next day, no one had reached out to me. Upon checkout, I told lady at the front desk that no one reached out to me. She apologized and promised that she'll make sure that someone does. After a few hours, someone called and left a message asking what they can do to help (that response was too little, too late). I called back a few days later and left a message for the hotel manager, and I never heard back from him. It wasn't until I reached out to their global customer care line that the matter was escalated and the hotel manager called me. After describing the situation to him, he said the House Cleaning manager will look into the incident and get back to me. It's been a couple of months now and no one has reached out to me. It's evident they don't care about their guests or their negative experiences. I'm certainly never staying here again and encourage others to consider other hotels in the area, as this is a 2-3 star hotel at best. I really didn't want to have to write this review but when I saw the lack of response and concern from their end, it they left me with no choice but to inform others.

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in my life. They are extremely understaffed and check in took over an hour. Room was not cleaned very well, there was a Lindor chocolate on our floor that my crawling baby almost ate. When we checked out they had to check room for damages to get our deposit back and we were told to take a seat and they would send someone up to check our room, waited 20 minutes to ask if our room had been checked and they still hadn’t inspected the room. Waited over 30 minutes just for them to check the room. After they finally checked our room and we got our deposit back the process of leaving the parking garage was a total nightmare. We paid for parking at front desk because the parking machine was broken. Had to press the call button multiple times and took over 10 minutes just for the them to lift the bar to let us through. The hotel was an expensive stay and for this service the price doesn’t match. I have had better service at a Super 8, never staying at this hotel again!! Do not recommend

I've booked 2 nights (room 214) checked in early morning with extra fees which is not necessary since the room is ready and it is a low season. Room rate is a bit high for this star class. Parking rate is reasonable. However, all staff are very welcome and friendly, room was clean and tidy, bed, pillows and dovet all are very clean and comfortable. Over all it was a good experience.

The room is fine, the view and location are good. But the service is definitely the WORST Delta I have experienced. USED bottle waters in the room when I opened the door. Short of staffs at the front desk. Breakfast is included in my package but their staffs known nothing about this (they checked again and again for ten mins). I stayed for two night, but I cannot access to the parking second day by using the room key. etc.... Won't Come Back anymore!

TL;DR: Avoid this hotel if you can I don't think I've ever stayed in a hotel room for 3 people before that didn't have a latch or lock for the bathroom door. The vent in the bathroom didn't work either so you can imagine what it was like after someone used the toilet. The phone didn't work. The AC was noisy and never stopped running because it struggled to keep the room cool. It absolutely wasn't worth the high price tag + paid parking. I've had better stays at Holiday Inn and Best Western for $100 cheaper. Honestly, I don't think I've had this bad a stay at any hotel in India either.

I stayed in this hotel for 8 nights because it is walkable distance to my activities. The following reasons are for my 2 stars: 1) Unfriendly front deck when I checked-in. The front deck lady is rude. 2) I have booked a room with a city view but it was not. The room is facing a construction area. 3) The amenities are less than a hotel should be. Such as toilet paper, only 1.5 roll. Only half full face tissue. No water spoiler. No cup or mug 4) understaff. No one answer the phone whenever I call the front desk. Even I am running out of toilet paper. 5) dirty hallway and inside the lift. When I checked out, the front deck lady is nice but it won't help to change my impression about this hotel. Disappointed and I wish the management will look into this matters.

It was confusing to even register. You have to pay for parking, place had empty cans and food all through the hallways. Staff did not explain leaving you need a key. When we checked out the lady just said I will take that(keys). No thank you no asking how was anything and did not even say you need these to get out of parking. There was a party going on until 2 am on our floor and nobody could answer the phone downstairs because they was one person working and a very big line. So my husband had to get out of bed and go downstairs to complainant the party. This is not how to run a four start hotel. NEVER AGAIN WILL I STAY THERE!!

Had an excellent experience here! The staff at check in was warm and welcoming and worked quickly to get me and my friend checked in. We were offered waters upon our arrival and since I’m a Bonvoy member I was offered and upgraded room which was a great surprise. The room was very comfortable, clean and updated with a nice view of these cool squiggle buildings! There was a nice note with amenities on the bed which was a very nice touch! The room temperature was super comfortable (I have had issues at other hotels being much too warm for comfortable sleep). The bed was very comfortable and plush as well! I ordered room service for breakfast and it was delivered quickly and the staff that delivered was so kind and sweet! Checkout was equally as easy with the staff being so kind and pleasant to chat with! My only comment is that the water temperature didn’t seem to get super hot but it was still warm enough for a comfortable shower, but not a big deal. I was beyond surprised and impressed with this hotel and would definitely recommend it! It’s a short drive into Toronto for dinner and the value for its price is most definitely there! I recently stayed at the Ritz Carlton and was not impressed for the price and Delta blew their service, care, and amenities out of the water and was 1/3 of the price! I would definitely stay here again!

Overall it was just okay. The front desk staff needs a little more training and people skills. The staff in the restaurant was good but the food was subpar for how much you paid. If doing laundry make sure you give it at least 2 days even though they say it's same day dry cleaning.

I'd describe this place as a wounded dog with a broken leg just dragging on. The location is good and the lobby is nice. But once you get past the lobby and onto your room you begin to notice the lack of cleanliness and maintenance there. Hallways definitely need to be vacuumed more frequently and the floors in our room were filthy. Shower was leaking and missing sealant in various locations. Choose another hotel if you find a place at a similar price.

I recently stayed at Delta hotel and found it to be a fair enough hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The hotel's facilities were decent, but not particularly impressive. However, the hotel's location was convenient and easily accessible. The food at the hotel's restaurant was decent, but nothing to write home about. There were a few good options on the menu. The breakfast buffet was basic, but satisfactory. Overall, my experience at Delta hotel was fair enough. It was an adequate option for a reasonable price.

I loved my stay here. I give it a 4 because of the small nitpicky stuff. I rented a wheelchair-accessible room. It is the best I've seen in the area but it was a bit small. There is a button to open the door which is not only great but a requirement for the room layout. The shower chair was very far from the removable shower head and the shampoo and conditioner were stuck to the wall high up next to the shower head making it impossible to reach from the shower chair. There is mostly carpet which is bad news for the hotel. My wheelchair soaked the carpet after coming in from a rainy day and stayed wet my whole trip. The toilet paper was the worst. Had to go buy my own. Either way best wheelchair accessible room I've used yet.

We stayed here for about 17 days. It started off on rough note when we tried to check in after a 14 hour flight. We had asked for early check-in when we made the booking but after several followups only got room later in the afternoon. I've stayed in many hotels over last 20 years and this was my first experience encountering a hotel with zero concierge service. Loved the room (king suite is highly recommended). The ac acts up many a time and tends to switch off on its own at night and go to auto mode which made room warm. House keeping not that great as at times we'd have to remind to take trash, change sheets, etc. Am not too sure they mop the washrooms or vacum the room frequently enough. We had a few instances where in housekeeping were cleaning the room in front and adjacent to us at times but they flat out refused to clean ours. We were asked to put in a request at front desk. This is not one of the hotels that has snacks in mini bar but that's fine as you can buy some at a small shop in the entrance. Hotel has Starbucks which is a good plus. Location is awesome and is a 10 minute walk to square one mall.

Recently stayed here for 1 night with 3 kids under 5. It was great to say the least. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful, the security is reassuring and the rooms are very clean, beautiful and spacious. The breakfast was amazing and Syed our waiter was so kind and great with our kids I can't thank him enough. We will definitely stay here again.

The hotel, cleaning, & restaurant staff were amazing, however the room wasn't overly impressive. - The fridge was barely above room temperature; much like the hot water. - The heater would run cold air for 5+ minutes after each heating, rendering the room colder than it started - The bathroom "door" is a set of French doors with a 1" gap between the doors and around the frame. If you're a shy poo'er, you're SOL... literally. - The noise from the hallways is poorly insulated by the doors, and you hear other room doors slamming halfway down the hall - A key is required to access the elevator, so delivery cannot be made to your room. It was clean in both the room and hallways

Nice hotel in a great location, several nearby restaurants in walking distance. The rooms are clean, with amenities and shower gel that smells good unlike many other hotels I've stayed at, this one is nice. Coffee machine and smart tv, enough space to comfortably rest. Starbucks in the lobby and breakfast is standard. Gun is also good with an indoor pool

Having stayed at many Marriott hotels, I have to say, they have one of the best beds I have ever slept in! After a hard day of work, nothing is better than having a great sleep to recharge for the next day. The hotel is located close to many amenities. Restaurants and other services are all within walking distance. There is also a major shopping mall nearby. The room was immaculate - the housekeeping staff definitely pays attention to detail. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely willing to go above and beyond. I will definitely be staying here again next time I am in the area.

I stay many hotels for work and let me tell you this, I this is the best customer service I had in a long time ! I stayed 12 nights here and there was a wonderful lady who was taking care of cleaning my room , her name is Pricilia. Always smiling and making sure I had everything I needed and more, super nice helpful and caring. I have nothing but good words to say :) Pricilia is the best ♥️

I never leave bad reviews but this hotel was mediocre at best and not worth the money. When we arrived to our room the room was trashed and looked like a tornado went off inside. The front desk replaced our room with another and we had the view of a bush on the lobby level where the bed sheets had a few weird stains on them. The shower water was barely even luke warm and didn't get any warmer than that. For the money it was not worth the trip. Only good thing about it is it's beds are comfy.

On the second day of staying at this hotel, we came back to find our hotel door not just unlocked, but also wide open. This happened right in front of the elevator, so anyone could just enter our room and take all our valuables. We immediately called the manager, who was indifferent and struggled to even apologize. Apparently their room service came in to clean (even though we requested them not to) and left the door open. The manager claimed that they checked that nobody entered our room on their cameras afterwards, as if that resolved the problem. Awful service!

Currently staying here for work rooms are nice front desk is nice but everyone partying people going to their rooms at 3am the doors close so loud wakes you right up. Currently room 1017 people are smoking weed so that's also nice. No one cares about their neighbours anymore. Avoiding this hotel in the future.

Location is great, but unfortunately the room is not clean, it is so disappointing to get a dirty duvet and bed sheet..while we are taking all precautions for COVID-19 we were shocked with dirty bed and weird spots. This is not acceptable

Always a pleasant stay at this hotel. Rooms are modern and well kept. The staff continue to go above and beyond to offer top care for guests. Rajugana always greets with a smile and offers guests top service.

Amazing experience, lovely rooms with a great view of Mississauga, and the staff are lovely. The pool area was a bit underwhelming, it was cold and perhaps needed a clean. I liked the lobby, which is joined to a Starbucks. Overall a very good hotel in a great location.

From check in to checkout , staff were accommodating and helpful. Place is very clean, always someone vacuuming or washing floors. Room was clean and ready early. The pool and fitness centre are top notch. Parking was reasonable and close. Would definitely come back.

Staff: friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating and quick to offer help/service. Rooms: stayed on the 5th floor with 2 queen beds somewhat near the elevator. It wasn’t too loud but you could still hear some slamming of doors and other guests walking through the hallways and upstairs. The room was quiet loud with the mini fridge and the furnace going on and off was a bit disturbing during the night. Location: convenience is everything. You’re close by to Square One and there’s lots of food places to visit in the surrounding area. Driftwood (restaurant): The breakfast buffet wasn’t too bad. Get there early so the food is still warm by the time you get there. It was about $30 or so per person for the breakfast buffet.

Checkin was quick. Our room was nice and modern. Washrooms have been renovated. Hallways, carpet and doors to room dated and very thin. Can hear everyone walking and hollering in hallways late at night. Small fridge in room which is nice. TV is modern and works. Thermostat turns off randomly and you notice it when room is too hot or too cold. Starbucks in lobby is a nice thing to have. Plenty of secure parking. Price was good so I would return if needed to stay near Square One mall.

Work trip needed a place to stay close to where I was working. Nice hotel. Staff was amazing. Having the breakfast included was good and they had many choices. If you wanted your eggs done another way they would do it. Location is a bit off, I less you're planning to spend you time at Square One. Doors close at 6PM so you need your key after that. Many great restaurants around and at a walkable distance.

You need to make your a/c quieter Its so loud i cannot sleep, plus my room was located at the back facing the dumpster I woke up because the trucks were noisy collecting garbage, if you can add more window panes to dampen the noise please, parking was so tight not advisable for large SUVs or pick up trucks, rooms were clean, elevators were fast, food was basic, but overall a nice good hotel close to the airport, i check out everything was fine but i got a charge for what exactly? Wifi Internet not free terrible service and dont bother calling and asking for receipts they dont bother to give it to you

There was no parking available when we tried to check in, and no one waiting or in the lobby to account for the cars taking up the '10 min' spots. The parking garage is extremely small and most people are taking up two spots. There is no kitchenette in the rooms despite it being advertised and front staff's reactiom was just 'sorry thats how it is.' And Im not about to bring my soup through the lobby to ask kitchen staff to warm it. The entire floor stank of perfume. May as well stay at a cheaper hotel.

We went there on 11/18/23. Was very let down with them charging $15 to park, their site on line says free hot breakfast but they said sorry no breakfast, very disappointing =( However the front desk lady Disha, was delightful and helpful, she tried her best to make our stay better and we were very happy with her. As a LOOONG member of Bonvoy she made it feel worth it.

It was very clean and had a comfy bed yes BUT the shower dripped all night, the body wash bottle in the shower was empty, food was either undercooked (the pancakes were still runny) or stale (bacon & potatoes) and very overpriced, the words coming out of the mouths of people on the tv did not match their movements. Overall experience, the negative outweighed the positive

  • 4/5 Kenneth C. 2 years ago on Google
Did a short 5 day stay and enjoyed my time there. Buildings may look old on the outside but the interior is definitely a big win for me. Are the rooms modern and updated...no. However, I would say they are nicer than other Marriot brand hotels I have stayed at.

All my concerns were addressed and for that, they deserve this review. The staff really goes out of their way to ensure you have a pleasant stay. Hotel is clean, not an ounce of dust. The beds are comfy, elevators are fast, and it's located near the mall. Omer and Stephane, thank you again.

The hotel is fine, renovated and fairly standard. They have closed their restaurant and stopped room service as COVID precautionary measures. This means that you pick up the restaurant made food from the front desk. Trying to stay healthy and safe is great. However, my concern is that they are unnecessary creating a large amount of waste which is bad for the environment. For instance, the breakfast omelette, toast and juice came packaged in a large paper bag, and not one but, 2 cardboard boxes. (The second cardboard box contained my juice and packaged plastic cutlery.) All that was needed was a reusable plate / cutlery with a plastic wrap cover on a tray to take up to the room. This would have accomplished the same thing and significantly reduced the garbage. My concern is that businesses like this use the COVID pandemic as an excuse to take short cuts, disregarding the environmental impact of their practices. I did mention to the staff that using a second box for my juice bottle and pre-packaged plastic cutlery created unnecessary waste. They look bewildered - as if they had never considered the environmental impact of their business practices. Likely this doesn’t come up in their training and it probably isn't of a significant concern for this hotel chain.

We stayed for two night over Canada Day weekend. Friday in to Sunday. The room was clean and the check in staff was adequate. We are fairly low maintenance people so me didn't require too much assistance. They did explain that there wasn't daily house keeping which was fine for us since I actually prefer my things to be left alone. My only complaints are minor. There was no regular sugar with the coffee station, only artificial sweeteners. And there was only two full sized towels for two people. A few more towels and some real sugar for the coffee would have been nice. Also... No fitted sheet was kind of weird. The only other things probably isn't the hotels fault, but it would have been nice if the entry to Driftwood (the restaurant) was unlocked or clearly labeled. We never ended up eating breakfast there as the doors seemed to be locked everytime we tried to enter on Saturday. They were wide open on Sunday, but we were in a hurry to leave so we didn't stay and eat.

Great place. Great view from my floor. Nothing extra special in the room. Good people. I was on the 12th floor and for the price i paid, i wish i had a microwave :) Nb: as a coffee lover, there is Starbucks in the lobby and that’s Amazing…

Standard business hotel but great customer service! Great elite recognition and upgrades. Best customer service at a 3/4 star hotel I’ve seen in a while in North America. Would not hesitate to stay again if in the area.

I want to like this place. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The rooms are nicely put together. But. The room I was in had am old window-style climate control unit - one that rattled and hummed, and developed a squeak not unlike a host of crickets chirping. Maintenance came in to look at it and were able to fix the worst of the rattle, but the remaining noise was still way too loud. I had to turn the unit off, resulting in a mildly uncomfortable night temperature-wise. Any hotel room that has obviously flaws that interfere with a decent night's sleep deserves a failing grade in my books.

We were looking for a clean, safe, quiet place to spend the night after a family birthday party held nearby. We got exactly what we were looking for. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable and the water pressure was great. It did seem a bit loud. For some reason sirens kept going off every 30mins to an hour. Maybe it was just an unusual day but it made it hard to take a nap.

Nice hotel, super friendly staff and the restaurant was great. The gym facility is nicely equipped with all you need. The pool isn’t that impressive but nice to have the option (no hot tub though). The rooms are quiet and clean but the location isn’t as close to the airport if that’s what you’re after. The only suggestion is to turn off the AC at night as it’s a bit noisy when the fan is running. Otherwise this place is perfect. I’ll be back!

Phenomenal stay in the heart of Sudbury! The location was perfect with major big box stores across the street, a pharmacy within walking distance and plenty of parking. Staff were lovely and helpful with fast and efficient check in and check out. I unfortunately did not get any photos of the room itself but it was modern, clean and spacious. Would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a place to stay in Sudbury.

I stayed here the night before the Mississauga Half Marathon as it is within (very short) walking distance of the Start/Finish area at Celebration Square. My room was comfortable and clean, parking was easy to access and they opened breakfast early on race morning (Race start time was 0730). The front desk staff were extremely helpful and friendly. My one minor complaint was the the water in the shower wasn't very hot (though it wasn't freezing). Starbucks in the lobby was also a bonus as I was able to get coffee before heading home after the race. Definitely recommend this location if you are traveling to Mississauga for this race (you can easily hobble back after the race and not affected by road closures if you are leaving shortly after).

Really kind service in the hotel, well located. The suite is very large and has all you need. The pantry on the 14th floor got some nice snacks to make your stay more comfortable. I have been here now more than a week and thanks to the space, it doesn't feel like being cramped in a hotel room. Amenities are good and room is always top notch on return. The a/c or heating makes a bit of noise but you can turn it off at night to be comfortable. When I was reading the reviews of the hotel I got slightly worried but I definitely have nothing to complain about. They do their best and it's definitely not less than any other place. Highly recommend!

I must say it was an extremely disappointing experience. From the moment I arrived, I encountered a series of issues that made my stay unbearable. First and foremost, the cleanliness of the hotel was appalling. The lobby had an unpleasant odor, and the carpets were stained and dirty. Upon entering my room, I was greeted by a musty smell, and the bedsheets and towels were clearly not fresh. It was evident that the housekeeping staff lacked attention to detail and did not properly clean the rooms. Furthermore, the customer service provided by the hotel staff left much to be desired. The front desk employees were unhelpful and indifferent, showing minimal interest in addressing my concerns. It felt as if the staff were simply going through the motions, lacking any genuine desire to assist guests. In addition to the lackluster cleanliness and customer service, the facilities at [Hotel Name] were woefully inadequate. The advertised amenities, such as the fitness center and swimming pool, were either closed for maintenance or in such poor condition that they were unusable. This was extremely disappointing, as I had specifically chosen this hotel for its amenities.
