Great hidden back patio that is very magical and whimsical with the patio lights and greenery. Nice servers that make it so enjoyable. Menu has a small selection of apps, mains and charcuterie. Lots of cheese and various prosciutto, nduja and hams. Wine selection is decent. Would highly recommend it for an event or a small gathering with friends. It’s never been too busy but a great spot.

So we did the proof bar pumpkin experience… the experience it self is quite awesome, very cute date idea. However the food here is honestly terrible, beyond terrible. $65 for one drink one terrible appetizer and a mediocre dessert. We ordered the tiger shrimp and calamari, the calamari was like eating rubber and the best part of the shrimp was the mango salad (actually pretty decent). I don’t think the chef knows what salt and pepper is, it’s a bold statement to make but I haven’t recalled food this bad in a long time. Our server was the absolute best, makes it worth giving the one star cause that star goes to him.

We had the outdoor tent experience with a few friends Monday night. First there were some confusions with our reservation as it was placed as a regular table. It was originally placed as outdoor tent seating, but we had to change the time and it somehow it reverted to regular indoor seating (which we were just not interested in) $65 per person will get you 1 drink, 1 appetizer and 1 dessert. So don't expect to be full when you leave, unless you show up NOT hungry. You can of course always order from the regular menu and add it in, which we had to do. Add another drink per person, and you have yourself a bill north of $200 for 2 people, and no dinner was served. Seating in the tent is casual, not a dinner sit down. You are in essence "lounging" for 1.5hrs while picking at your apps. The tents are nicely appointed, with enough seating for 6 comfortably. There are orange blankets for added warmth, and the Halloween/ fall theme is nicely carried out throughout. It was a nice experience. Probably wouldn't do it again, but may visit again once they launch a Christmas themed experience.

I brought my wife here for her birthday and we had an amazing time. Thomas took care of us from start to finish and was amazing. The whole experience was fantastic and well executed. The dome/igloo was warm and cozy but not claustrophobic. We got the package with a couple of appetizers and drinks and then ordered some food from the menu. Everything was delicious and presented nicely. We were also pleasantly surprised with the birthday dessert. We had a great time here and recommend it to anyone.

Servers are hungry for just **TIP** Our server had definitely high expectations. Upon receiving tip under expectations he was very rude. Spent $203 on food and added 10% tip to it. Made business to the restaurant; I don’t know what these servers expect more. Please raise their salaries so that they don’t expect high *TIP* I will never go back

The bar is very attractive and there are several high top tables for seating at dinner or lunch. Our wait staff could not have been more kind and accommodating. We had spring roll appetizers. Very good. I had the kicked up burger which was one of the best burgers I gave ever eaten! We experienced three desserts which were outstanding. Get here soon if only for appetizers and drinks. You’ll be glad you did.

One of my favourite places in the city. Attentive, friendly service. Nice romantic vibes. Great food and drink. Cool patio area— there are heated igloo-type things in the colder months so you can still be outside (however, it is a fixed menu). Because it’s on Bloor and Avenue, it’s almost impossible to find parking so I’d suggest you use a ride share service, public transit, or walk.

This place has a vibe. The outdoor patio is pretty. The staff were kind and welcoming. Special thanks to Eden. She’s really sweet and made sure we had our best time. The food was amazing too. Will surely visit again

We enjoyed our time sitting outside in the evening. You can see the stars. Food was good, service amazing. Good list of drinks too. Even a kids menu. The whole family enjoyed themselves. I recommend the pistachio mousse for desert.

They have Cows Creamery cheese from PEI! We just sat on the back patio and ordered the charcuterie platter. Service was quite slow considering how dead the place was, but the atmosphere is very nice and relaxing. A little pricey for the amount of food you get on the platter, I would have expected a bit more cheese and a bit fresher berries, but it was still a delicious ~small~ bite. They put the meat on a separate plate for my boyfriend since I am vegetarian.

Celebrated my anniversary here and had Thomas as our server. He was wonderful and treated us very kindly. I was surprised that there was only actually 1 jumbo shrimp but it was yummy along with the risotto it was served with. The steak was cooked a bit over my asking, but not too much. The louvre was a unique and tasty dessert as well. I would come here again. :)

Exceptional Service! It was a snowy night and our immaculate server Thomas was so courteous and helpful! His pure sense of respect and kindness was deeply appreciated by both me and my wifey. We really enjoyed our experience here together celebrating her 22nd birthday in an Outdoor Igloo! If you need a place to come to just lay back, relax and enjoy a 10/10 meal this is your place! I had dinner and a drink with a group of 11 female friends. The couches are comfy and the otttomans were perfect to move around to be in a circle. Most of the group had the burger and enjoyed it. I had the 3 cheese charcuterie board. It was great and enough to take some home.

The waiter (Jonathan) was terrible!! Did so little but expected a tip and had the audacity to say wow to our faces when we didn't!! Never checked up on us and the drinks and fries we ordered took over twenty minutes each to arrive. The female server did more for us than him just by telling me where the washroom was! The service was slow and inattentive despite it being nearly empty on a Friday night. We gave up waiting for our bill and got up to pay at the register. Only qualities I liked were the atmosphere and the expresso martini that was overpriced. Definitely not going back!!!

We hit Proof Bar before a big event, and they were absolutely fantastic. Bartender was super attentive, drinks were delicious, space was beautiful, and we had a wonderful time. Would definitely go back to try more.

Tried the dome dining. Really good experience and food. We heard someone yellowing obscenities in the alleyway close by. The spring rolls are pretty bland. And it was a little chilly even with the little space heaters, kept the jacket on. Mains were good the tart for dessert was very good as well. All in all loved I really liked the little dome and how you got to be all alone in there with thr music and the couched, very special.

Stayed at the hotel for a few days. Enjoyed the quiet reserved atmosphere. Staff were great

Great ambience, but not a lot of options for food and cocktails. They had a good selection of wine though. I felt the food was overpriced and not good enough (around 30CAD for 6 pieces of mediocre ravioli). I may recommend it for business meetings but not for a girls night out.

The place was good, food wasnt the best but was still good. There weren't alot of oprions to choose from. But still it was a good experience overall.

We booked for Signatures restaurant, but restaurant closed kitchen when we arrived. Shifted to Proof, since it is same menu and same wine list. Service was friendly, but they never asked for vaccine. Luckily, it was totally empty (3pm on Sunday is slow time, it seems), so no risk. Food was good, but not exceptional. Food prices are on lower side for the neighborhood, drinks are so-so. Had to repeat allergy info multiple times, and server still brought allergy item to table. Server forgot happy hour discount, but corrected the bill when pointed out. Worth the visit for atmosphere and decent food, but be mindful of forgetful servers.

I found this bar extremely underwhelming unfortunately. The food was very bland (amongst myself and others), and the drinks were entirely watered down. Maybe too much ice? But neither were good. Especially for the price. They also wouldn't let me choose the food I actually wanted and just remove one item. What restaurant doesn't allow you to customize due to your dietary restrictions? Lame. The patio was cute & the staff were polite hence the 2 stars.

Food posioning!!! Went here for our wedding. Had a prefixed menu that was all floral based. There was a full head of a flower in my salad which I ate , I researched and the green part of the flower is toxic not edible only the petals are edible. This made me VERY sick. After calling the resturant and leaving multiple voicemails they didn't even bother to call.me back or do anything about it. Great wedding experience 👌

The host was so generous to us. Very attentive to detail and not pushy. The vibez was cool, great for a group and the patio igloo is amazing for their Sangria drinks! Definitely recommend :)

This was an incredible experience. Food was quite good, service was exceptional, and the setting was unique and magical, especially once it got dark. Outdoor temperature was a little below the freezing mark, but we were warm and comfortable inside. Great way to dine out in the winter and not have concerns about sharing air with others. Herbert provided exceptional service. They have extended the Dining Dome season until the end of March, which so allow me people to experience this. We booked a few weeks in advance. Not all domes serve a full meal - some just have appetizers and drinks.

The whole vibe of the patio is so amazing. You're secluded in between the hotel so it feels private. The food and drinks were pretty good but a little expensive. I'm unsure if the cost really matches the food...hence the 4 stars The staff were nice and tried they're best to make sure you had whatever you wanted.

Reserved a dome for a special occasion. From the first contact service was impeccable. The food was amazing but more so our server, Tomas was the best. So attentive and took great care of us! He is a great asset and exemplifies service excellence. Highly recommend.
