👍👍 This place is very aesthetic - makes me feel like I’m in a little cafe in Paris or something. I ordered the oat flat white which was very well made, though slightly on the pricey side. This place is located in the FCP food court, which means it gets very busy during lunch time. If you want to come... This coffee shop is really adorable, and the decoration makes you feel like into a suburban coffee house. Sandwich and salad taste great and healthy. Latte, the taste is a bit light to me, but I like it.

One of my most favorite local coffee shop in the city. DRINKS: • Macchiato: The coffee bean has a very rich taste and amazing fragance. It gives the coffee a full, creamy taste yet strong coffee flavor. • Lavender hot chocolate: don't go for this, this's a bad idea. Although the hot chocolate is very good, the lavender taste & scent makes the drink become very weird. PASTRY: • Croissant: very crispy, flaky and buttery. SERVICE: seems like the barista remember faces of all returning customers and their orders. Super nice and chatty. • VIBE: I'm in love with their decor, the place has a lovely coffee fragance all day long. It's quite crowded and noisy in the morning but the vibe in general is so relaxing.

The cafe SMELLS great, smells like fresh baked goods all day. I have not really enjoyed the coffee the couple times I’ve tried it, but the cookies are good.

This pretty coffee shop is very convenient to people working downtown, esp in the financial district area. Their service is quick. However, I was disappointed with the taste and quality of their beverages and food (salad); weird flavor (matcha latte), not appetizing, food portion is imbalanced (too much of this and not enough of sth else), not enough sauce for the salad. And the price ain't cheap at all so I feel like a waste.

I really wanted to love this place because the food was such a refreshing twist. However, the noise level was intolerable. Also, my drink order was wrong: I received a pumpkin chai instead of a pumpkin latte. That was corrected. I also got two breakfast sandwiches and the eggs on both were the same despite me wanting only one well-done. Lastly, they were not managing the morning rush. Good luck hearing your name called.

📍Maman @Toronto, ON 🖤好食 (quality):😋😋😋😋 🤍環境 (environment): ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🤎服務 (service): 💗💗💗💗 - Introducing another cute spot for some coffee and pastries in Downtown Toronto! 😆Maman is located inside First Canadian Place and serves lots of unique pastries and coffees. I really love the vibes here, feels like I am in France! They also have seasonal lattes which changes every once in a while! 😙Other than pastries and coffees, they also serve sandwiches and food items which also looks pretty good! 🫠This time, I tried… 🍞Pistachio Loaf 🍞 Full of pistachio flavours and it is a very big slice too! 😎It is such a yummy treat along with a hot coffee! They have thick icing around the loaf which makes it so yummy! Personally, I would like it to be less dense, I needed some water to wash it down after eating the slice of loaf. 🧐 🍵Jasmine Green Tea Latte 🍵 Totally loved this tea, it was heavy on the green tea flavour and I really enjoyed it! 😆Although it was on the milky side, the jasmine green tea flavour really stood out! I believe that this is the only latte on their seasonal latte menu that you can get without sugar. 🫠 This spot was pretty difficult to find and very easy to miss! It is located right next to iQ on the food court floor in a corner! 🤭Maybe I just had bad eyesight hahah Thank you for the great hospitality and yummy treats!✨🤍

Maman is a treat for me. I don't live or work near the financial district so only can come for a bite when I am on vacation. I had tuna sandwich and green goddess salad combo for lunch yesterday. So tasty, fresh and filling. It is a bit pricey but definitely worth it. This sustained me all day. I enjoyed my lunch on the long farm table inside. It is so pleasant and staff so friendly. I had my perfectly-made espresso outside on the terrace however saved the chocolate & macadamia cookie for today. Thank you again.. hope to see you on my next day off.

Fantastic place to stop in for coffee and a treat, a quick quiche or sandwich, or for a private gathering. Exceptional service. Maman hosted a retirement party that featured champagne, sweet treats and custom coffee in a truly unique atmosphere. The staff went above and beyond to deliver an event to remember. The price was so reasonable that I am looking forward to using Maman for catering and events in the future.

Such a cute cafe in the financial district. Hot chocolate and chocolate croissant were such a treat and excellent. Good pit stop for a coffee and treat to go if you're near first Canadian place. Little bit of seating inside the cafe and an abundance outside of it in the food court

Amazing pistachio chocolate croissant (a generous amount of creamy pistachio filling which did not taste artificial at all, croissant wasn't too oily and was decently flaky) and nutty chocolate chip cookie (I personally prefer walnuts or pecans and I like the nuts to be more crispy than chewy but there were lots of chocolate chunks and the texture was amazing as it was crispy on the edges and chewy on the inside). Service was amazing and the design of the place was super cute. Would definitely recommend and will come back for sure :)

Cute little French place inside FCP (First Canadian Place). Try out their nutty chocolate chip cookies (5 stars for it) deliciously chocolatey, soft yet crusty on the sides. Love the small nutty bits in the cookies (C$ 4.2 a piece). Coffee / tea are ok and go well with the baked stuffs (pistachio loaf slice, carrot loaf). They have options for vegans as well! Reasonably priced and most baristas have a nice French accent 😁

This beautiful French cafe is a hidden gem in First Canadian Place on the upper level. Counter service only. Seating is available at long communal tables or outside the cafe in the food court. I adore the rustic decor and the cozy atmosphere. I would go more often but the cafe has limited hours (it is closed evenings and on weekends). The sandwiches were delicious and flavourful! I loved the truffle croque maman and the grilled cheese sandwich. I also loved the almond croissant (filled with frangipane), the smore's cookie, and the lavender hot chocolate. I'll definitely come back to try the blueberry lavender loaf cake and the nutty chocolate chip cookie.

A gem hidden in the financial district! I am so glad to find this cozy cafe, the decor is gorgeous, not to mention all the graphic design used in the menu and serving plates/mugs. I tried the cannelé and the flat white coffee and both were delicious. For sure I’ll come back since more items had called my attention.

Maman’s loaf is just.. amazing. Their lavender loaf was extremely smooth, light, and most importantly, not too sweet. It had the perfect balance of sweetness. I had the leftover of the loaf the next day and it was still fluffy and tasty. However, I did think their oat latte was very bitter and not the best I’ve had.

Sleek spot on the top floor to grab some quick eats and coffee/tea. There are many small tables located outside of the entrance but also two large rectangular ones inside, with some power outlets available for those wanting to do some work. Good iced tea and decent pistachio loaf cake.

Good coffee. Nice patio and atmosphere given that it’s adjacent to a food court. Overall, well done. However, the fact that they give you your food in a paper bag and paper cup as a default just cheapens the entire experience. Consider using real plates and coffee cups to create a better atmosphere consistent with the quality of the food and coffee.

It is my loved cafe in downtown, but I had some uncomfortable and bad experience today. I ordered my lavender hot chocolate, which is I always picked one, but tasted something very unusual, very light, and very fade than before. When I finished it up, I looked at the bottom of the cup (see the picture). They didn’t mixed up at all and chunk of chocolate powders were just seat in the bottom of the cup. Would you like to have this one? Absolutely not!! FYI, it wasn’t busy at all. I was the only customer during that time. I hope they will get better than this.

Oprah listed their cookies as one of her favourites and I just had to try them. Let me tell you, they did not disappoint. Their Nutty Chocolate Cookie is just 11/10! It's that good. So gooey with a soft centre and crispy edges! Love it!

Food tastes average and coffee is mild. Sandwich bread was a bit hard. Atmosphere and interior are beautiful. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I recommend for just a quick snack

This cafe is so pretty!!!!! Definitely it's a IG spot. We ordered ice latte, lemon slice, apple turnover and nutty chocolate chip cookies. Lemon slice is refreshing, not overly sweet, balance the bitter with coffee. Ordered nutty chocolate chip cookies recommended by other reviews was delicious. Love this place.

2020.10.23 The day started by our first stop for coffee. Last weekend in the city. The place in decoration by far is the best that I have seen in the city downtown area. Beautiful. Elegant. Nicely decorated. We had our Hot Americanos. We had croissants, pistachio cake, and cookies. The place is a bakery and a coffee place.

A cute place I went with a large group. Thankfully there was a long table that let us all sit together. The table was knotty wood, so it was hard to find a stable place to set down my drink. The matcha latte was great. Sweet and matcha-y. The scone breakfast sandwich was fine. I liked that it was on a scone because that added flavor, but there wasn’t much to it. It wasn’t all that filling

Such a beautiful jewel of Toronto! You’re guaranteed joy with their beautiful pastries. I always leave here with a smile. Their croissants, cookies, tea selection, lavender blueberry loaf, and cappuccino. I just lost myself daydreaming of their pasties again. Beautiful little place too! Very Parisian exuding countryside romance. I’ve yet to try their sandwiches but I’m very much looking forward to that time. I have a few I want to try.

I liked their sandwiches. The cafe has a cozy atmosphere, there are tables outside. It's a bit of a pity that this place is closed on weekends. That way I could visit it more often.

Always a stellar experience. The best coffee I've had in the city. The pastries and desserts are always on point. Staff friendly. This place is the highlight of my week when I come. Merci!

I tried Lavender hot chocolate here, someone who is not a fan of hot chocolate, the lavendar helped tone down the sugar and chocolate taste in the drink. I loved their salted chocolate chip cookies. Ask them to warm it for you. I've also tried the lavender loaf as well. Sells out pretty quickly but its nice The staff is very always very friendly and they have the cutest aesthetic.

Food: We ordered the overnight oats with chia seeds and the granola parfait as breakfast for two people. The overnight oats were tasty enough but didn't have quite enough berries or other fruit for my taste; the granola parfait was also tasty but didn't have enough granola for my wife. The coffee was very good. Service: Quick and professional, no complaints at all. Atmosphere: The cafe itself is cute and well-appointed, and we quite liked the decor, but most of the actual seating is in a food court outside, which isn't quite as charming.

Gorgeous coffee shop with nice coffee. Food is tasty too. One star removed because of all the single use plates and cutlery involved in eating in at the cafe. A shame for the environment and also the food and drinks don’t taste as nice in cardboard boxes/cups.

I like the pistachio loaf more than the lavender one but that’s just a personal preference. Cute rustic spot in FCP!

Love their croissants and blueberry scone. Be careful with coming in the morning as there is a huge rush. Coffee is on the mote expensive side (>$5 per cup).

The Katie sandwich is one of the most delicious sandwiches I've ever had in my life. I'm stoked to get my hands on their cookbook.

  • 5/5 Ludia K. 1 year ago on Google
Pretty little cafe inside FCP. To me this place is more of a mini bakery than a coffee shop. I think the lavender loaf is their signature menu. It's moist and it's lavender 💜

Terrible coffe at an expencive Price. Was looking forward to it as the reviews and picture were pretty inviting but Unfortunately expectations where not met. We chose this place as it looked like it had a cute patio but tables where dirty and left with stuff from other customers.

I got the pistachio loaf and found a piece of paper in it while I was eating , also the cake itself was so dry couldn’t eat the rest. so disappointed!!! never go back here!

I ordered the pistachio loaf cake for my birthday and it was DELICIOUS!! Not only did the cake taste amazing, but the service at Maman was exceptional! Maria- the manager, and the staff at Maman, were so kind and made me feel so special on my birthday! I loved the fact that Maria followed up with me to get my feedback on the cake, and made sure I was happy with my order. Maria was also great at communicating with me every step of the way, from when I initially placed my order, to pick up, and then followed up after my birthday. I will definitely order from Maman again! This is how every business should handle their customer service. Well done!

I tried the coffee here and I loved it! The other snacks and pastries looked amazing. Loved the interior design but I preferred to have my coffee in a real mug instead of a paper one :)

Beautiful decorations coffee shop. I visited there because of their flowery togo cup. However the coffee was really nice. It’s a hidden coffee shop beside a food court inside a business building. It’s very Instagraming vibe with great pastries and coffee. Everything is so cute here.

Went there for a quick afternoon snack, the coffee and cookie were pretty standard. It's definitely overpriced and not as good as their NY location.

  • 5/5 Bilge S. 1 year ago on Google
One of the most aesthetically pleasing cafes I’ve been to in Toronto! I tried the butterfly pea flower latte, and the pistachio loaf cake.
