There's only one thing that holds Fat Lamb back from being a stellar place, and it's the portion size. It's one thing for something to be overpriced, and it's another when you pay $16 for a container that's smaller than the container used for their side potatoes. The lamb itself? It tastes great, whether on it's own or placed in a pita. It's the only reason the place isn't rated one or two stars. It's tender, flavourful, and the first bite is really swell. But a few bites later, you're done the whole thing. The potatoes? They're great too, and you quite a lot of them for $5. It's one of the few items on the menu worth its value. The extreme lack of value is the reason I'm unlikely to return. Take the same amount of money to any other Greek place and you'll get enough food to be satisfied, if not full.

Welcome staff and clean area. Their food was fresh and authentic. I liked lamb plates more than chicken. Chicken seemed too dry but not a big issue. The portion size can be bigger for the price. Also meat ratio to potatoes can change a little bit.

Environment: 5 stars Cozy small place on Yonge street just a little bit south of Bloor, on west side, big sharing table in middle, 3 window single sittings for ppl watching - Best part. No AC which I actually like it. No loud music. Very comfortable like a home kitchen. Services very friendly, it just comfortable:) Food: 3 star base on lentil soup only though as this is my first visit. Greek food, Had a quick bite: lentil soup, come with bread, $8. A little bit wait time, 5-8 Min? They just start to make soup after summer. Soups is ok, quite bit watery to my liking and it is very light. Did not see much lentil in it. Still not bad for a cool fall day lunch. all prices include tax” make it so much easier. Will try lamb and other food next time, read great review about home made food, lamb 16$, maybe I will revisit the 3 stars.

Amazing place!!! This is like no other greek restaurants you’ve ever been to. Quality of the lamb is top notch as well as other ingredients. Also friendly staff and nice and authentic ambiance and decor. 100% recommend this place and we’ll be back soon too! :-)

By far the best Greek dining experience in town. The meat is always moist and juice, with the kind of rich flavor that you can only get from slow cooking. The potatoes are cooked to perfection, based in a rich seasoning that is complimented with a delicious garnish that will keep you clamoring for more. This isn't your standard diner affair where Greek cuisine is reduced to vegetable oil and Club House Greek seasoning in everything, with grocery store tzatziki sauce. Everything is made from scratch here.

Wow very good Gyros probably the best I’ve tasted! Fresh warm perfect pita, tzatziki was delicious and sandwich was 5 star. We’ll definitely be back to try the rest of their menu!

This restaurant is tiny in size and massive in passion. Owners Vera and Chris are cooking some of the most delicious Greek food in Toronto. Everything is scratch made daily and there is a wide array of great food that is good for vegans, vegetarians and meat lovers. Beyond belief is their giant Moussaka. It’s old the charts but truly so much is here. Go eat in or grab something warm and delicious to take home. Please follow @joannasable on instagram for more food fun.

Came here for lunch takeout during a weekday. It wasn't very busy and the lady was friendly. We got a lamb pita and a pork plate. The lamb and pork were both really yummy but I had to remove some points (only half a star, if possible) as the plate/bowl that we got was mostly potatoes and only had a few pieces of the pork and felt like there could be a better balance. Definitely not a huge issue and am looking forward to coming back!

Holy lord of the Lamb, their lamb and potatoes totally worth it! Their lamb so tender and juicy! The place is small but feels homey with their big table where people can actually talk to each other. Staff were friendly and efficient in handling orders. Definitely one of my favourite spot to eat!

Totally worth a try! Great tasting authentic food with mny options. Obviously try the lamb pitas with great tzatziki and veggies. Not many people will give shredded juicy lamb. Nice staff as well as a small seating area.

REALLY good lamb and their pita was flat like a tortilla but SO delicious. Extremely good food. The plates pictured were $14.50 each then an added $2 for the pita.

Great authentic restaurant! I love coming here, my go to is a lamb or pork with a salad. The salads are fresh and light, the meat is very flavourful and tender. Consistent great food and same goes for the service. The place is small but has a lot of character and is very inviting. Don't forget to grab a pita. Or six
