Amazing brunch place. Definitely lives up to the hype. We arrived few minutes before 10AM, but still had to wait 50 minutes - FYI! We ordered the famous Blueberry Pancakes, Veda’s Choice, and six biscuits+scones. They have the best pancake I’ve had. All food items we ordered were 11/10! All servers were tentative and very kind. Recommend the Fresh Brew coffee over iced latte - it paired well with the brunch menu! Worth re-visiting!

Great spot for brunch but make sure you’re going in as early as possible to get on the waitlist. Over the weekend, the wait is sometimes over an hour because of the popularity. If you are lucky enough to get in, their pancakes are a must try! It’s so fluffy and full over flavour. I usually share this dish with two other people along with a main dish. Grilled cheese was mediocre but the steak and eggs and the croissant dish was really good. Call them ahead of time to get an expectation of how busy they are!

Since most people nail the food opinions here I'll write a different kind of review. The patio is well spaced out and sheltered for the most part in case of rain. It is a Wheelchair accessible location. The Bathroom is Unisex but also each bathroom is a room with a sink and is one of my most favorite and preferred bathrooms around. The service and food is excellent and their COVID-19 Procedures are up to great standard.

We made a reservation in advance and got our table without any waiting. The staff was a little slow but the food made it up for the delay. The pancakes are a MUST HAVE!! Super soft and fluffy. We also tried their croissant and quiche which were both delicious. Great brunch place. Definitely coming back for the pancakes again :D

We had the best experience thanks to our server Pablo. Very charming and smiling, respectful and helpful. The food was not only absolutely delicious (those fries... like wth, how can they be that good?!). I highly suggest you try their famous pancakes: super fluffy and buttery. We did not have any reservations, we waited about 20-30min for a table for 2. If you are more than 2, I highly suggest you make a reservation because it's a very popular place and is packed constantly. Cheers to Pablo and the kitchen for an amazing experience.

Went for the famous breakfast Blueberry Pancakes and the Croissant Breakfast Poached Egg Sandwich (listed as Veda’s Choice on the menu) Both were great but probably not worth a repeat in my opinion. What was surprising was that the fries were superb though. And the cappuccino. That being said, it is a must have breakfast in Toronto due to the atmosphere land service. The whole setup is very good. Our server Pablo was superb. It was a chilly morning so he brought us hot water and blankets! Also, lots of wasps around due to mating season so they brought a ramiken of honey to distract them away. Basically, they went out their way to make us comfortable.

Lovely dine-in brunch spot in Liberty village. The food was delicious, staff friendly. It did however have an hour+ wait for a table at 10AM, took a while to get the food and all of it including the steak and eggs were cold by the time we got it. I’d still put it on a short list for brunch with friends but maybe not necessarily on a weekend.

Great brunch place. We arrived just a bit before 9:30 and were narrowly able to get a seat in the first wave of available tables. The meals are excellent (especially the hyped up blueberry waffles), but I have to also highlight how amazing the customer service was. The spot itself is sleek with a wide open space setup that really gives you that breathing room to sit back and relax. Definitely a must-do brunch location in Toronto.

Best pancakes in the city hands down! Everything about my experience was great. The staff, the food, the service - it was all top notch! The place is known for their pancakes and did not let me down. Had their Veda’s choice which was amazing but could do with a slightly larger quantity. Got complimentary scones to go which was a great gesture! Will definitely be back.

We visited Mildred’s Temple in Toronto’s Liberty Village on New Year’s Eve at around 11 AM. To our delight, we quickly snagged a spot at the bar, as the usual seating was quite busy. This was our first visit post-pandemic, and I must say, the experience was as wonderful as ever. The service, particularly, was exceptional. Our server, a friendly and attentive gentleman, truly elevated our dining experience with his helpfulness and enthusiasm. It’s this kind of service that keeps us coming back. Mildred’s Temple, a staple in the area for many years, does show a bit of wear in its fixtures, but it’s a small note in an otherwise charming ambiance. The food, as always, was superb. We ordered the blueberry pancakes and the grilled cheese sandwich on sourdough bread, both of which exceeded our expectations and brought back fond memories. An exciting find during our visit was that they now offer pancake kits. It’s a perfect gift idea or a fun way to recreate their delicious pancakes at home. Our New Year’s Eve brunch at Mildred’s Temple was, as always, a great experience. While the ambiance and food remain consistently excellent, it’s the outstanding service that truly makes this place stand out. Highly recommended for a delightful dining experience!

Really excellent brunch and b’lunch food— the caliber of the eats, efficient presentation, and sustainability of the food makes this a highlight AND it’s a bargain for quality in this tier of restaurant. The vibes are buzzy and modern. Service is unhurried and friendly. Really not much to complain about here — apparently some folks are docking stars from lack of weekend reservation allowances but that’s not the end of the world. Recommend anything with poached eggs and their bacon. Salmon didn’t wow me. Pancakes are a heroic favorite.

This place is a fantastic restaurant! 🍴 Mildred's Template Kitchen in Toronto 🇨🇦 serves a delicious 🤤 selection of breakfast 🍳 dishes - definitely try Veda's Choice (a croissant 🥐 sandwich 🥪 with avocado 🥑 and poached eggs 🥚) and the Blueberry 🫐 Pancakes! 🥞 This spot is beautifully decorated 🛋️ with an open kitchen and the ambience 🎶 is great! Staff 👨‍🍳 is super nice, welcoming, professional, and helpful! Definitely recommend that you make a reservation 🛎️ as this place is packed. I wish I knew about this place earlier!

4.3/5 Now they take reservations on weekdays! Still not on the weekends. If they took reservations all throughout, it’d be much better. Spacious and cute interior. Nice and friendly staff. I’ve been here many times but first time leaving a review and trying their winterlicious. For $34, really good value. Good portions. Their chicken and waffles were the best. Very crispy. Their house made hot sauce is actually hot and flavourful. Went well with the chicken. Their cookies dessert was okay but affogato was nice.

The blueberry buttermilk pancakes are amazing! Fluffy and hearty at the same time. Goes down really well with unsweetened coffee as it’s quite sweet already. The steak sandwich wasn’t bad but also wasn’t close to the level of the pancakes so it’s probably not something I’d get again. You can tell they use really fresh ingredients though as the salad had a crispiness to the lettuce stems. If you plan to go make reservations as this place gets pretty packed.

It was a positive experience and delicious. We put our name down and had a 30 minute wait so we ran some errands and came back once we got the text that the table was ready. The seating process took a while but well worth the wait. The food was absolutely delicious. Pancakes are a must. Green tea latte was yum and the Veda and steak and eggs were fabulous. Definitely worth going. I usually despite not being able to make a reservation but the text when the table is ready was helpful.

Beautiful restaurant, great food and good size portions. The wait was extremely long (over and hour) as it is walk-in only on the weekends for brunch. This place was delicious but not worth the wait in my opinion and the menu is very small with limited breakfast options. They had a small patio at the front with no wait time, however it was swarming with wasps so the host had to warn us about getting stung. The blueberry pancakes were the best dish we had and the butter croissant was perfect and came with a delicious apple cinnamon butter, I recommend you try them if you decide to go.

Was able to get seated quickly without a reservation. Food was delicious! Pancakes are a must-have, but are very sweet so I recommend ordering it as a side (1 pancake vs. 3 as the main). They did get my order wrong and gave me home fries instead of a salad, but were quick to rectify! Had a full size complimentary salad.

A lovely breakfast spot in Toronto. The pancakes are delicious at Mildred's! Light, fluffy and the only highlight of our experience. We arrived at 9:30am and wait time for a seat was quick- less than 5 minutes, however, there was a long wait for our meals. Although our server was very friendly and attentive, it would've been nice if he mentioned the wait time of more than 20 minutes for 2 pancakes. I ordered the Huevos Monty (Mildred Fave), and overall wasn't satisfied, it lacked flavour.

First time here and it’s a great looking place love the vibe. The brunch was also very delicious and different it’s good to see different items on the menu and try something new compare to other brunch places. We had great service and the food came out in timely manner, their Pink Mimosa I would recommend to try as well. Everything we had was amazing!

Not gonna lie, the scone and biscuit with apple butter are amazing. Crispy and soft at the same time. The pancake is so so imo. The syrups is way too sweet and artificial. Pancake is done nicely but nothing special. It tastes satisfying but a little too much. I wish I ordered just the side not the whole thing. Service and atmosphere are all great!

We were told 45-1hr wait and it took over an hour to get a table. Once we got a table, our server was great. The ambiance was nice it was bright and inviting. The food was really good! I had the Vedas choice with salmon. The eggs were perfect. The pancakes are delicious! So soft and buttery. They kept forgetting a side aioli sauce we had ordered. We had to ask for it twice and it came once we were done our meal (which was too late); so we asked to get it taken off our bill. The servers were slow to take our empty plates and glasses. They would drop off a new drink, but not take the empty glass. Overall it was good experience.

Went for brunch on a Saturday morning around 11am and had to wait just over an hour for our table. Once inside, the restaurant is gorgeous and inviting. The food and drinks were delicious, definitely one of the best brunch places I’ve been to. Our server was very friendly and accommodating, unfortunately the food and drink servers were not as friendly. We have ordered a side order of aioli but had to ask 3 times before they finally brought. By the time they did, our meal was finished. Once our bill was settled, our server did give us a few scones to go for free for the aioli mistake. Overall, we had a great experience here.

If you're in the area, this is a must try place with some amazing food and very good service. I had the Veda's choice, which is a croissant breakfast sandwich with salmon and poached eggs. The eggs were cooked to perfection, and the smokey salmon was delicious. I loved my breakfast, and would definitely go back!

Very nice place. A friend recommended it and we went for brunch. I have to say the food is absolutely delicious. I tried a variety of items on the menu since it was my first time visiting and I was pleased with everything I ordered! I would definitely recommend checking out Mildred's if you are in Liberty Village.

We were here on a Saturday around 10 and did not have to wait for a table inside. The place is so nice and airy. Our waiter Pablo was amazing, he was so sweet and attentive. We tried the scone and biscuit, so flaky and delicious! For our mains we had the Veda with bacon, the huevos Monty and a side of the famous blueberry pancakes. All so fresh, clean and delicious. Our waiter recommended a side of their house hot sauce and it was amazing! It was a scotch bonnet sauce so full of flavour and paired perfectly with my huevos. The cappuccino was also great. Overall a great experience and definitely recommend for a good fulfilling brunch.

So far, I love the blueberry pancakes and how they do their bacon. It was enough for my wife and I to share. Also they have a very nice mimosa menu definitely worth checking out, we had the blueberry and classic mimosas. The blueberry came with some cotton candy on top. The only downside, I'm not sure if it's due to staff shortage in the city or how popular they are but our waiter was too busy for us service was very slow.

Went to try their pancakes and they did not disappoint. They were crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. Overall the dish was too sweet for me (syrup on the plate plus very sweet blueberry topping). You can get the stack of pancakes as a meal or get singles. I would go for a savory dish with a single pancake on the side next time. I have had similar pancakes at another restaurant with syrup on the side and topped with sour cherries, which I preferred. If you like pancakes and sweet toppings you will like these. The grapefruit spritzer was decent, buy didn't feel worth the price.

Highly recommend making a reservation to this place! First time I tried to visit, there was a 1.5 hour wait so we went elsewhere. The second time, it was a Monday at lunch time so I figured it wouldn’t be too busy but there was still a half hour wait. We decided to wait and it was definitely worth it. The food was delicious and super filling. I really enjoyed my latte. The only complaint is that our server might have forgotten to tell us about the specials and when I overheard the next table being told, one of those options sounded really good and I would have chosen it if I knew it was an option.

Great place for brunch! It is super busy so be prepared to wait for around an hour on a Sunday. We had a lot of things (see pictures) and everything was good. The pancakes are AMAZING, biscuits are great and coffee is good. The main course items were good too - only the Huevos Monty was underwhelming (tortillas were dry and chewy). Overall great place and I will definitely be back.

Dined here for brunch and had a great experience. My partner got the Vedas choice (? The Benny) and the eggs were poached perfectly, she opted for avocado as the topping, she thoroughly enjoyed it. I got the Pancakes and they were basically the best pancakes I've ever had. I also had the chorizo sausage on the side which was good. Our server was great and the vibe was worth the long wait. We also opted for dessert and it was solid but I would rather just have a biscuit or scone instead.

Stopped in for Breakfast last weekend, during my friend & I’s trip to Toronto. The food was absolutely delicious. My friend and I decided to split two dishes and both were delicious. We each had a half of their Grilled cheese and their poached egg on a croissant. I liked the grilled cheese, although the jam was a little too sweet for me personally (I can’t do sweet things as much anymore), but nonetheless it was still quite good and I’d recommend trying it. As for the poached egg on a croissant, I loved this dish and would come back for it time again. (Maybe I’ll try making it at home too!). Oh and the side salad was nice and refreshing too. On another note, my friend and I loved their lattes! I had their Lavender fog latte, which is something I’ve never tried before personally. It was delicious! It is was a very warm and cozy drink. My friend also relayed the same about their London Fog latte (they’ve had this type of drink before, but said this was particularly really good!). The host was welcoming and there was maybe a 10 minute wait. So not bad at all considering it was a busy Saturday morning. Our server was great as well. Lastly, the interior was beautiful and there was a nice atmosphere inside. Will be back again when in town, but with family this time.

Ordered: Drinks: Oat milk Latte Pink mimosa Food: Veda's choice (bacon) The Shak Mrs. Biederhof’s Wild Blueberry Buttermilk Pancakes Tucked away in a corner in Liberty Village, this unsuspecting spot is a must see. Inviting retro industrial vibes, great food and welcoming staff are what to expect. The real star of course were the pancakes. We decided to go in on a Tuesday, which just happened to be half price pancake day (whoops 😎 ) They even asked if we wanted them after our other breakfasts which I will say was nice after several other places have had timing issue. Nothing negative to say at all get down there and try it !

Once you’re seated, start with some fries and hot sauce on the side (trust, it is the best you’ll ever try). Go with HUEVOS MONTY and tell the server to make a note for the kitchen to hook it up with the cheese (you’ll know what I mean). Don’t forget the hot sauce, have fun with it and add it to every bite. Lastly, end your brunch with their infamous Mrs. Biederhof’s Blueberry Buttermilk Pancakes. Something to mention as well, their hospitality and service is second to none. Fantastic experience overall!

I’ve been wanting to come here for a while but they don’t take reservations so makes it a bit harder. Finally decided to go and stand in the line before it opens and let me tell you it does not disappoint! So go early! Shared the pancakes (must have), scones, biscuits and the Veda’s choice. Pancakes were the best I’ve ever had but I would definitively share if possible as they are super rich (and delicious). All of the rest was good as well.

My first time back since the pandemic began and we had the best experience. But I will first preface it by saying, we did wait 2 hours to be seated. I have never waited that long for a table ever, however, the staff was extremely empathetic and apologetic. The restaurant is unfortunately running at a 50% capacity so be prepared to wait long if you show up at like 11am or 12 noon. Once seated, everything was quick quick! The server was attentive, the food came quick and it was delicious as always. (The pancakes never fail to impress) My friend also noticed that the manager was constantly helping out the staff so much and easing frustrations by offering take out to those customers who did not want to wait. This is great leadership! He was leading by example and we love to see that. Thanks team! We'll be back soon :)

Sometimes going places on your own, especially on a day like Valentine's day, service tends to be poor because people don't see you as worth their time. I can tell you that wasn't the case here. All the food was amazing, the service was quick and my server, Natalie, was the nicest server I've had when I go to places alone in a long time. I'm very impressed with how put together the place appeared on such a busy holiday.

Visited Mildred’s for B’Lunch! We didn’t have a reservation and luckily they could squeeze us in. However, this is a very busy and popular spot so I would highly recommend to make a reservation. It’s a very welcoming environment and our sever was friendly and funny! Ordered a matcha with oat milk, biscuits and scones, Chicken Avo Club and The Shak. Beautiful presentation of the food and it was all super yummy. Their apple butter is very unique and a must try with their biscuit and scones when dining here. All the food came out in a very reasonable time. Would definitely recommend checking out this restaurant!

A really fantastic lunch. The eggs and warm croissant for my son was devoured, pancake was less fluffy and more like a biscuit. The wife loved it but glad she only got one. The fries were done darker which is always a plus for me. Overall lives up to the hype.

It’s always a pleasure having brunch here. The staff are always sweet and high spirited even during this pandemic. The pancakes can be shared as they are hefty and filling. If you’re a sweet tooth and enjoy blueberries, ask for the special whip with berries on the side to smother it on your pancakes. The croissants have a perfect crunch to it, with a buttery and hallow texture inside. It comes with the Apple butter when served, which is great on the tea biscuits but too much for croissant for my taste. For a light but filling breakfast, the vendeta with salad compliment each other very well and leaves you content. Order the drip coffee as well, as it’s great black or with just cream. If you are a fries lover though, don’t skip out on the garlic aioli. I will continuously come here and highly recommend for anyone visiting Toronto to come by this lovely spot. Sometimes the wait is long but if you plan right it’ll be worth it. *also side note: I find the staff very considerate, especially when explaining about the patio had to close due to bees. A+++

Great place for brunch if you are willing to wait. The food and service were fantastic and special mention to Pablo our server, who was delightful. There are no reservations, and it is walk in only, which means the wait on the weekends can be in excess of 2 hours. Also the pancakes deserve all the praise they get. Thick, fluffy, and covered in delicious blueberry sauce, a must have. Ps. make sure to try their new hot sauce

First time visiting Mildred’s and I loved it! I read reviews that stated it’s best to go early to the restaurant and it’s not a joke, I lined up at 9:30am and the wait time was close to an hour. The food is amazing and the lineups are out the door, but it’s completely worth it. I’ll definitely be coming back for Mildred’s yummy brunch!🥞

We hosted our October 2021 wedding ceremony and reception at Mildred’s Temple Kitchen and if you are considering Mildred’s for an event, do not hesitate and book them! Despite a twice rescheduled wedding, Mildred’s team was tremendously accommodating at every step of the process and they went truly above and beyond our expectations. The extra steps and precautions taken for COVID gave us and our guests peace of mind. Even weeks after our wedding, our guests continue to rave about the delicious food served and the incredible service that evening. An impressive compliment considering several of our guests work in hospitality! Huge thank you to Michael, Donna and the Mildred’s team for helping bring our special day to life.

Offerings 5, value 5, experience 3 - really great brunch place. We had the egg croissant and pancakes and they were both very good. Would def come again. The only issue we ran into was with reservations/ getting seated. We checked in early for our reservation then waited for ab an hour. Other people were coming in and getting seated before us even after our assigned reservation time. After checking in again, it seems they never checked us in the first time. Probably an honest mistake but still this was not a very good experience to start with.

Great brunch spot in liberty village. Everything is freshly cooked with fantastic flavour. If you do not make a reservation, get ready to wait for a few hours on weekends however a walk in Liberty village is always a nice way to pass your time. The most hyped brunch in Toronto, possibly Canada. And for...good reason? The interior is great with minimalist decor and long lines of people both inside and out. We waited 2 hours to get in, and so come prepared with a full anticipated schedule ahead of eating. The Manhandler is the typical go-to and one of the few brunch dishes to star meat. I will say the steak is well-cooked and is of a higher caliber than other brunch spots. Veda's choice is also flavourful, with a good croissant and mix of flavours. The house salad is good. I would recommend the grapefruit mimosa or French 75 as cocktails particularly suited to brunch. The blueberry pancakes are of course, the aesthetic star of the show with a good balance of fluffyness and sweetness. Hard to say if it's worth the wait but it's a good experience as long as you know what you're getting yourself into.

Cool because it’s freshly cooked but overall just okay. Service was great but tea and pancakes are too sweet and the food itself was nothing terribly special. Portions are pretty big though and interior design is nice. Long wait time for both getting a table and food to come out. Overall, okay experience.

The star of the dish here is the blueberry pancakes. It is so delicious and it’s not very sweet which makes it even better. The customer service here is great and I would suggest if it’s your first time in Toronto, come here for the blue berry pancake

If I could give this place 6/5 starts I would! My friend and I came here on May 15 when it opened at 9AM and there was already a line out the door. People lined up at 8AM to get in this place!! My friend and I sat at the bar with a view of the chefs which was actually quite entertaining (the other tables were full). Our waiter Pablo was so sweet and attentive since the wait for food was a bit long. My friend and I got the "MRS. BIEDERHOF’S WILD BLUEBERRY BUTTERMILK PANCAKES" and "VEDA’S CHOICE" (smoked salmon). I tried the pancakes and it was the BEST I've ever had, and Veda's choice was phenomenal. I'm craving it now thinking about it. We compared all other restaurants we went to to Mildred's 😆 Highly recommended!!

One of my favourite brunch places in Toronto! Be prepared for a wait (I’ve waited upwards of 45 min before), but the wait is worth it. The pancakes are famous for a reason - they’re the perfect amount of sweetness, and the acidity and tartness from the blueberries complement the sweetness perfectly. I still think about the rosemary thick cut bacon on a regular basis. It is so flavourful and delicious, that I secretly wanted to order another serving of it right then and there. Really nice modern atmosphere to hang out with your loved ones! The bathroom is an adventure in itself - you should go in there and check it out.

Very tasty brunch, amazing atmosphere and staff are helpful and friendly. It gets really busy for dine in long lines on the weekends so you have to go early. Fries were incredible strongly recommend

I was celebrating my one year anniversary in Canada and I chose the perfect place. Loved Mildred’s kitchen. We couldn’t get an online reservation so we had to wait for an hour but it was worth it. Our server, Heather recommended mushroom toast (don’t remember the exact name) which was not on the main menu and it was the BEST. Thank you Heather. You were great!

Mildred is my pancake high! That’s non-negotiable. I liked the portion sizes better before the lockdown though: smaller portions for higher prices seems to be the norm these days. Staff is friendly and professional. I appreciate the partially/open kitchen concept. Nicely designed interior and bathroom area. Expect weekend brunch line ups (40+ minutes)

First dish while visiting Toronto with friends and family. We were all pretty satisfied! Blue pancake is a must. Order a single unless you really have the appetite. Veda’s choice is a great choice actually. Perfect poached egg with bacon and a flakes croissant. We ordered the 30 year old biscuit.. can’t say it was worth it. But everything else was great.

Absolutely loved it here! We came around 11am on a Saturday and only had to wait an hour (which I think is pretty good for brunch in the city on a weekend!) The wait was worth it - we already knew what we wanted when we sat down so it made everything a lot quicker. The service was awesome and because I was celebrating a birthday they even had a little candle and decoration added to the dessert! We'll definitely be returning :)

We went right at opening and there was already a line so we had to wait a bit. Food and service were great. Mmmmm, their scones are delicious. We all got individual pancakes added to each of our dishes. It’s was a bit sweet near the end because of the syrup, but nonetheless, still very fluffy and yum!

Went on Monday arrived at 11:20 am. After arriving, there were people waiting in line to be seated so we went online to make a reservation at 11:30 am 😉. Waited 10 mins and then we were seated (hint: you can make reservations online after arriving if you don't want to wait!). The blueberry pancakes are super fluffy and "not too sweet" at all! The overall price is a bit high and the rest of the food are pretty standard which is why I'm giving a 4 star.

Mildred’s is amazing, delicious and delivered on flavor ! We are big foodies and everything was perfect ! We ordered a basket of scones that were so delicious, we ordered a second batch to take back to the hotel . My daughter had the famous blueberry pancakes , which were incredible and as pictured on the web and other reviews. ( yes, large enough to share )I ordered the tart and it was so creamy and full of flavor and the rosemary bacon . Yum ! Salmon avocado toast was also great ! Awesome location too ! Highly recommend and would visit again !

Only waited 15 minutes for a table… which is goofy because we got there 90 seconds before the restaurant officially opened. Service was good and friendly, no problems there. The pancakes - the famous pancakes - were fine and tasty. Very fluffy. The avocado toast was mid at best. The scones and muffin were fine. Truly overhyped. It was good. But not life changing.

Food was good, other than the croissant sandwich thing which was stale and a bit bland, would avoid. Pancake is superb but very sweet. Cheesy Tart also fantastic highly recommend. Great drinks too. Quite finicky with the service and waiting for a table etc, but if you’re willing to wait it’s a lovely venue inside.

Delicious brunch / breakfast place. Grilled cheese was quite tasty and flavourful. Blueberry pancakes were nice. Coffee was good. Service was excellent. Seating was nicely spaced and not too crowded. Lots of vegetarian options. Anxious to try other dishes.

Super nice service. Tiny OJ, I wonder if there's a large size too. Pancakes' sweetness were a little subtle for me, so I got a side of maple syrup and that made all the difference. Very tasty, great texture. Super pretty. Potatoes were aight.
