We
visited
Mildred’s
Temple
in
Toronto’s
Liberty
Village
on
New
Year’s
Eve
at
around
11
AM.
To
our
delight,
we
quickly
snagged
a
spot
at
the
bar,
as
the
usual
seating
was
quite
busy.
This
was
our
first
visit
post-pandemic,
and
I
must
say,
the
experience
was
as
wonderful
as
ever.
The
service,
particularly,
was
exceptional.
Our
server,
a
friendly
and
attentive
gentleman,
truly
elevated
our
dining
experience
with
his
helpfulness
and
enthusiasm.
It’s
this
kind
of
service
that
keeps
us
coming
back.
Mildred’s
Temple,
a
staple
in
the
area
for
many
years,
does
show
a
bit
of
wear
in
its
fixtures,
but
it’s
a
small
note
in
an
otherwise
charming
ambiance.
The
food,
as
always,
was
superb.
We
ordered
the
blueberry
pancakes
and
the
grilled
cheese
sandwich
on
sourdough
bread,
both
of
which
exceeded
our
expectations
and
brought
back
fond
memories.
An
exciting
find
during
our
visit
was
that
they
now
offer
pancake
kits.
It’s
a
perfect
gift
idea
or
a
fun
way
to
recreate
their
delicious
pancakes
at
home.
Our
New
Year’s
Eve
brunch
at
Mildred’s
Temple
was,
as
always,
a
great
experience.
While
the
ambiance
and
food
remain
consistently
excellent,
it’s
the
outstanding
service
that
truly
makes
this
place
stand
out.
Highly
recommended
for
a
delightful
dining
experience!
