Good selection of different food options. The pricing of some items is immoral though. A Bubly costs $2.50 whereas a 12-pack at a grocery store costs $5.50, which means they’re marking them up 400%. From their website: “We take great pride in… giving our students the optimum value and quality for their money.” LOL as if. If you’re eating here it’s probably because you have to though, so enjoy.

Great memories of my student stage. It is a place that takes me to my professional beginnings. Fantastic University of Toronto.

Not a perfect res experience, certainly not a perfect building design. But they try, can you realistically ask for more?

Dinner sucks. Pork loin is extremely tough and dry and even the gravy sauce couldn't quite hydrate it enough. The bread pudding was doughy and lacked any sweet or eggy taste to it. The rapini was overly bitter and I couldn't finish it.

Over priced & bad quality Used to be an amazing place before COVID, but now it is one of the worst places to have a meal.

Dorms are good and internet is fast (ethernet). Though bathroom stalls are a bit gross, shower stalls are actually cleaner than you'd expect. Food is also great, except my only complaint is that a few of the staff members that works at the cafeteria are a bunch of rude, impolite, disrespectful, and uneducated inbred-lookalikes who don't seem to enjoy doing their job.

Beds were just a step above cots: creaky and hard thin mattresses. Cheap, coarse linens and towels. Building and rooms have overall hideous depressing institutional 60s-70s era design. Concrete walls and hard floors. Doors didn't seal well. Children on summer field trips outside in the hallways yelling all night. Bathrooms had no ventilation so they were hot stuffy poop swamps from about 8-11am everyday. Horrible stay. If my work hadn't paid for it, I would have left after the first night to find something else. Would not recommend.

Location is good! Close to Chinatown. Lots of restaurants there. You got a single room for about 50 CAD. Toilet was a bit far from my room. It was clean. The shared kitchen was a mess. The staff were ok

Lived here in first year when the caf service was better. The rooms are small but adequate heating and cooling. The bathroom do look like ur gonna get murdered in them but theyre still better than most bathrooms in the residences.

You have the room to yourself so that's a big plus for solo travelers. There is AC and heater you can adjust in the room as well. However, the bed is not comfortable, at least for me. The washrooms are kept clean at all times. I don't know if it's the design of the building but its gray industrial walls could use some paint. The price is outstandingly cheap considering other student housing types where you pay the same price for just a bunk bed cramped with 3 to 9 other people in a room.

If you have enough money to stay in another hotel please do, Do not ever book this place. They did not clean the rooms or wash the towels. There was lots of garbage in my room when I checked in and the towel had stains. They also charge you $60 for a late 2 hour checkout. The rooms smellls like mildew and so do the bathrooms. If you have enough money for a better place to stay I suggest you do so.

The food is delicious but why it seems that the spoons and forks are not fully cleaned??

Absolutely not recommended! The price is low, but it's still way too expensive. Even in prison the accommodation is surely better. You must bring everything towels, soap, toilet paper... The cleanliness and dilapidation of the rooms, bathrooms and showers is pitiful. Good luck if you are able to sleep despite the excessively noisy ventilation and the springs of the mattress piercing your back.

Nice rooms with a comfortable bed, clean toilets, coin laundry machines close to downtown for a cheap price. I spent there one night, and I really enjoyed my stay. The receptionists were very welcoming. I highly recommend

They do not have any service. Front desk is rude. If you don't want to ruin your mood, do not stay here
