Not sure the Turkish coffee I ordered was worth $5.40 but there presentation is 10/10 for me. The staff is very friendly and helpful when it comes to ordering. The place has got some nice Turkish touch to it.

Cozy cafe with warm and inviting vibe perfectly complemented by its mellow interior. They have an eclectic collection of coffee and other drinks along with the usual baked goods and classic Turkish small bites. A good place for meeting with friends or unwinding by yourself with an intriguing book. Cherry on the cake is the owner of this unique cafe who goes the extra mile for his customers by paying attention to every small detail and making everyone feel welcome. Definitely worth visiting again

We tried the latte and cheese pogaca.  The cheese bread was soft and moist and tasted so good. The owner offered some chocolate muffin to try. It was delicious and not so sweet. My friend regretted that he did not get one for himself after trying a piece of the muffin his wife got. This is a place that we will surely go back to. There are other baked goods to try and service was excellent.

If you wanna try Turkish coffee, this is probably the best place in the town! It's not a big place but it's cozy and enough for enjoying your coffee. And also they have Turkish desserts so it's very nice opportunity if you wanna try thier culture.👍

So in love with this Cafe's coffee bar and presented arts! I wish they have a Turkish song playback to suit the atmosphere. Will deserve a full 5 star with playing authentic Turkish songs

Best coffee in the neighborhood. I have been here multiple times, the atmosphere is awesome and decor great. However can get a little crowded sometimes.

Nice cafe with a cozy atmosphere and unique decor. The Turkish coffee was okay but the cappuccino was good. Almond croissant was also very fresh and tasty. Would come back to try some of the other unique items.

Nice ambiance and decoration Turkish cafe @ eglinton w. I purposely came here for Goth Latte. Never try never know and it's very unique but not much flavours. Preferred to be served it with glass not takeout cup since I mentioned dine in. Su Boregi was good. I liked the layers and texture. Good experience!

I've been in the neighborhood for years and this is one of my go to spots for coffee. The owner Shaun will pop in from time to time and talk to everyone in the cafe, he is one of the nicest guys you'll meet, his stories are always hilarious. Baristas are always friendly and service is usually quick. Only downside is that the Cafe closes early on most days (6pm.) This spot is one of the staples in the neighborhood and I would encourage you to at least stop by once and try the Turkish coffee!

Great little spot I accidentally found today. The ladies working here in the morning are a delight. They were so warm and friendly and service was amazing. Its slightly pricey but the environment is worth it. The type of place you can stay and study (free wifi + outlets), or use their backgammon to play, or even drink because they do serve booze. The whole place has a nice middle eastern vibe so it feels very much like the name. I tried their ham and cheese panini, roast beef panini and baklava, plus their cappuccino. It was all fantastic and delicious. Once i was done and i stayed back to write their review, they brought me some water (they didnt have to and i didnt ask, although it is available in the front if you wanted to). Overall lovely place

This place was opened by a woman entrepreneur from Turkey, Antalya but unfortunately sold to its new owner after or during Covid lockdowns. As far as know, the new owner is also the creator of the Irish pub next door and trying to turn this sweet and unique coffee shop into a pub. We need places which are not oriented to alcohol sales and open till late. On the walls of this place, you’ll find photography of the previous owner, taken on Istanbul streets. Turkish coffee is not as good as it used to be and it is still a bit overpriced in my point of view. Internet speed is pretty good and highly recommended for a little laptop club but the place needs a makeover to accommodate more people who like to work here for longer hours. I tried the Turkey & Bacon Panini and it was yummy - fyi

Lovely ambience. Came here following the reviews. However was disappointed with what I ordered. Turkish coffee was a miss, inspite of the fancy serving set... Barely 1.5 oz for the price. I've had better Turkish coffee elsewhere in the city. Turkish tea would be a better option. Did not like the Turkish delight that was served either. You can skip the dessert Revani (overtly dry and very sweet) Instead, do try their paninis, scones & croissants. They're quite good. Hope to try this place one more time just for other drinks on their menu. Hoping those would be better.

Finally decided to try the place. I only got the matcha latte and it was delicious. The interior is also well decorated. I went there at around 12pm and it was not that busy. It seems to be a good place to work or study. I will come back next time to try their food and baclava!

The ambiance of this store is great. It’s very cute with its Turkish lamps and the lighting is dimmed so it feels very relaxing. Their food is a little overpriced for what you get. The veggie sandwich on the right in the picture was 8 dollars and the other sandwich was 12 dollars . The veggie sandwich was still cold in the centre when I got it. The bread was stale. The concerning part was when we saw a cockroach inside their food vitrine. We let them know and they got rid of it. But it was a disgusting sight. Otherwise this place is great to chill and do some work.

Had the Turkish coffee and biscotti to go! Enjoyed the unique flavor of the coffee. I wish dine in was open, as it had a very cozy and inviting ambiance.

Definitely coming back here. A cozy vibe and definitely a great place to kick back and relax, get work done or play a board game or two in this chill lowkey-feeling coffee shop. The Turkish coffee lives up to the hype, and the barista was super friendly! Love this spot.

A nice and cozy cafe with decent tea and coffees and tasty snacks! usually a bit crowded and sometimes hard to find a sit! they have enough plugs which makes it easy to work there, however they have a note which encourages you not to stay there more than 2 hours! I've been there multiple times and liked almost everything except a few minor things, for example this time it was a bit cold inside! Also their automatic soap dispenser in their washroom wasn't working properly! finally, they have backgammon and chess if you wanna play some games and a good variety of books (some of them Turkish!) if you wanna read a bit! Drinks(tea/coffee/bear): 10/10 Snacks: 8/10 Food (Salads & Sandwiches): 8/10 Sitting area: 6/10 Staff: 10/10 (very friendly)

Lovely café. Good atmosphere and not noisy. So this could be a place to study or work. It's gives a different experience when you try their Turkish coffee and pastries.

An absolute favourite spot for coffee!! A must try place…. Great decor especially the lamps, wall frames, cozy seating! Tried their rose latte and regular latte! Both were amazing.. the staff is very friendly and quick service for dine in as well as take outs! This place is always busy, a local favourite!! 1000th review! I recommend Istanbul Cafe to others. The staffs here are friendly and kind, and the cafe itself is spacious and quiet. It is a nice place to chill or study. The Turkish coffee was unique and delicious. I would love to try their baklava next time!

First time trying a Turkish coffee and jr was fantastic! We also had an oat milk latte and it was steamed and extracted perfectly. Good vibes in the cafe as well.

Calming decor with Turkish lamps. The wood tables and old school leather couches combined with the Turkish coffee make this a wonderful cafe for working, socializing or simply catching up on a good read.

Really bad service and below average food. Also the staff looked like they’re just in a hurry to close. I spent $40 here but absolutely not worth it. Coffee was ok.

Cute and cozy cafe at Eglinton & Redpath just off Yonge St. We tried the Turkish variety of coffee - Mocha Turkaccino and Turkish tea and were not disappointed as t it brightened our evening. They also have a variety of snacks (Turkish ones are a feast to the eyes too) and sandwiches. We tasted the Cheese Pogaca (Turkish bun with cheese filling) and Sekerpare (Turkish dessert). Overall a pleasant visit and plan to go again (many times 😊) here.

Nice decor and very welcoming environment. I went there with my husband for breakfast. We had their turkish tea and simit with honey. It was a good combo for us! We will try their coffee and savoury items next time.

Coffee only 3/5, not a fan of their coffee, but the atmosphere, the fireplace and the sofa seating is comfy. Slightly dimmed lighting, but people are studying at the long table area, I give extra star for a good place to seat/ study if you don’t care about the taste of the coffee.

This is my favourite spot to work out of near Yonge and Eglinton. There is lots of seating + great coffee and food options. Pictured here is their delicious rose latte! Also recommend the zucchini muffin.

Has recently changed ownership, and is now much a more welcoming environment. I love the immersive Turkish experience, with beautiful Turkish lights, and dishes. Very good spot to relax and get some work done. The espresso and teas are fantastic!

Environment: 4 stars. It will be nice to be a little brighter maybe. Drinks: 3 stars in general. Turkish coffee is the signature. Good for trying something new. Worth to try, trust me. Seats: around 13-15 tables big and small. Laptop friendly. Bakery: 3-4 stars. Purely judging by personal preference. Could be 5 stars for most people. Worth to visit.

Really cute Turkish cafe with a cozy but spacious interior with lots of tables. Large variety of standard espresso based drinks and Turkish coffees and teas. I usually get their rose latte, and it is always super tasty. Great spot for a date, to chill with friends, or just read or study by yourself!

Friendly interior , lots of drink & treat selection. I’ve been here a few times now and I have a few observations . Great espresso , limited but tasty tea selection, nice atmosphere /tends to get too crowded and too busy , pre packaged or premade desserts ( although most cafes do this ) It isn’t as « cozy » as others have indicated , it’s mainly open space and gets crowded and noisy. There is a shared table , individual tables as well as couch seats and tables near the front . Pretty standard , nice cafe - would recommend supporting your local cafes .. but it youre looking for something outstanding look elsewhere Would go back

Great rainy day coffee shop. Quiet, dim setting with lots of seating options. Coffee was delicious. Outlets are abundant. Only gripe: bathroom was small and poorly laid out. 💓 Vibe - 4/5 🪑 Seating - 5/5 ↔️ Space - 5/5 📶 Wifi - 5/5 ☕️ Coffee - 4/5 🚻 Bathrooms - 2/5

I had found this spot years ago as I worked in the area. I always felt the staff was really friendly, & with a smile. They always got my order, right which sometimes is not the case. Recently, although I don’t work in the area anymore, I was able to suggest to a friend we meet here. I went back and had the same amazing friendly service, this time even more food options, & a really cosy place to meet a friend. I had a simit with cheese, Cheese Pogaca) which she warmed up for me, & a latte. I always feel so welcome and I adore coffee and theirs is a really nice strong latte, which is not bitter, with beautiful artwork. I always make this place a must, anytime I’m in the area. I love supporting independent places with good service and coffee. Keep up the amazing service, treats, and cosy atmosphere! I can’t wait to go back.

An inviting coffee shop, spacious with different seating areas and a casual laidback atmosphere. We had Turkish coffees and several savory and sweet small bites. Overall, everything was good and, the staff was very friendly and diligent.
