My boyfriend and I have been searching for this coffee shop for a while. The LED sign definitely makes it stand out amongst other coffee shops. Cute, small coffee shop. Lovely paintings on the inside of the shop. We ordered an Americano, Vanilla Latte (as was suggested) and a vegan chocolate chip/oatmeal cookie. We also picked up a bag of coffee beans. Warm welcome, great service and some tunes playing in the background. The Americano was ok. Would definitely recommend the cookie and the latte.

I had a truly excellent drip coffee here just two days ago. Wonderful community vibe and a real pride in what they do. I will be back to taste more of what they have to offer.

This is a very small shop... take out mostly as there are only 3 bar stools along a very tiny shelf. It is brightly and tropically decorated which makes for a nice shake up from the many dark woods and rustic hip vibes you see in most other places. There is a big window to let in lots of light and the one wall is just filled with the many varieties of beans you can bring home. What was impressive that Tucana has their own espresso blend by Pilot Roasters!! It was caramelized notes at a medium intensity. The two baristas are cheerful behind the counter and they're whipping through the orders quickly. I get a dirty chai latte with almond milk with a double boost of caffeine. The barista makes a pretty leaf design and when I position the cup so I can take a picture ... she exclaims she could have done better and to wait to take another picture. Funny thing, its one of the better leaves I've seen lately! The espresso shot is smooth and has a prominent nice caramel flavour among the chai spices. I really really enjoy this one and I'm thrilled to have found a great place where I can go back and get a very well crafted cup. The best thing... the price was very reasonable. Sure it's not as cheap as your Timmy but when it's more affordable than your Starbucks and at least 10 times better, it's a no brainer to support the better local option and start your day off right.

Overpriced and poor quality. First time there, keen to taste their espresso, but their machine was uncalibrated. I watched it pour and it was 95% crema and 5% liquid. I asked for an iced americano with some simple syrup but the barista said they don't have simple syrup, instead she referred me to the granulated sugar. Granulated sugar does not dissolve in iced beverages. I know this sounds super snooty, but I was just bummed about the whole experience, mostly because neither this experience nor drink was worth $4.50 + tip. With a saturation of cafes in the area, I'd hope you'd do better because it would be awful to see another business go under. However, after that experience and this exchange, I'll have to go somewhere where I know the coffee's deserving of its price tag and the staff their tip.

Tucana coffee has some of the better priced drinks in the specialty coffee scene. The guy who served us was super nice and was a delight to talk to. My hot cappuccino was also pretty good considering I was dying from the hot weather.

the guy running things at counter was open n chatty which was cool. menu was a bit limited but wasn't dissatisfied with the iced latte I went for. cost was decent. had milk options as well. patio outside front of shop, offering picnic style tables with umbrellas to shade from the hot sun. overall it was a quaint n quiet time and I enjoyed the cool n rich drink, with a good book!

Cute coffee shop, my mocha was done right, but a really small space. Need something quick and on the go? Then this is the place.

Make a quick stop at Tucana if you need a dose caffeine. I tried the dirty chai ice latte and it was a nice blend of sweet and spicy. I especially enjoyed the strong ginger note. This place is small, so be prepared to grab and go (although they do have patio seating). Service was quick and friendly

This is a great little spot on Dundas St West. Very friendly barista who made me a delicious flat white. Which I enjoyed with a spicy beef patty. Such a nice combination. And at a great price, $7 for both. Highly recommend

I was a bit hesitant about this coffee shop because I prefer coffee shops with a more modern minimalist vibe but was pleasantly surprised. Coffee was great and they had a wonderful selection of unusual local roasters. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable.

Great spot to pick up a coffee and snacks before work! Barely any standing/seating room, so don't expect to bring in a laptop to get work done.

The vegan patty was surprisingly good. Like...so good I would choose that over a Jamaican beef patty. It could have used a tad more filling but I think because the small amount of filling made the patty crispy which was also really good. Definitely will be back. 🤤

Cute tiny coffee spot on dundas street. Coffee: good but the latte was a little cold and the milk was a bit flat Treats: good croissants, the average kind you would get at most coffee shops here Staff: there was one girl there and she seemed a bit rushed- there was a line up and I think that is why the milk was a little understeamed Atmosphere: cute. Not much sitting room but a great little place to drop by for a to go coffee. My vegan friend: happy! Barista quality alt milks available!

👍👍 Visited here a few years ago. And recently back to have breakfast again! It is a lovely space filled with nostalgia of old-school deli and restaurants. They have a large indoor dining room, and outdoor patio. Located in the heart of downtown Toronto, they are situated on the very busy University Ave...
