This place has a great atmosphere. Very warm, cozy and smells wonderful. The man who owns and operates the place is very friendly. He welcomed me when I first walked in and encouraged me to take my time. He had a great selection and great prices. He also, had a sample of cold brew he gave me despite not being a product he usually sells. This was very kind of him. This Café is definitely worth a stop over to have an espresso and relax.

Best expresso in Toronto. Worth going out of your way. Tips benefit homeless and LGBT mosque. Three tables. Labor of love. Lots of other things on menu

Flat white was perfect - quaint atmosphere, friendliest service. I followed that up with a chai tea which was very tasty and came in a personal teapot.

Oops, pressed enter before I could leave a review. My partner and I have been here once before, but I'd forgotten to review it then. We visited Cafe de Melbourne again this past Saturday for some pies and it did not disappoint! So delicious and flaky. They do take 15 minutes to prepare, but it is well worth the wait. The jaffles are very good too--it's what we had our first visit in 2017 and it tasted very nostalgic. Can't wait to come back here for proper coffee next time!

What an awesome place, it's got a nice vibe to it and the person running it seems like an awesome guy. Got quite a bit of work done here and loved the Jazz they had playing. I'm definitely coming back again for another drink and to get some more work done. This is by far one of the most distinctive, awesome cafes I've ever been to. The espresso quality was amazing and the mocha I tried was great. The guy there was very approachable and made me feel at home.

Very tasty coffee (flat white) and very tasteful interior. I am from Hong Kong (closer to Australia -- where the drink comes from?) and flat whites are great there. I have yet to try such a great cup of flat white in Toronto. Wish I had more time there. Will be back soon. I also appreciated that the owner directs "tip" to supporting charities.

Cold flat white and cold mocha were perfect for hot summer day; smooth and wonderful taste. Absolutely delicious. Cheerful and pleasant conversations with the barista as well. Atmosphere is cozy and historic. Original hardwood floors from 1850 added an interesting touch to the experience
