It was my second (and last time) visiting this café and I witnessed a kinda ridiculous event taken place by the elderly lady staff working there. From her counter she would yell and...again yell to the outside sitted clients to go down the stairs and pick up their sandwich from the bar. The screams and attitude reminded me of a circus. Shameful image for a cute coffee shop such as this one.

Loved this place. Sat there for an hour with a cup of latte. The barista from Portugal was very friendly. The interior is okay, it has a lot of photo frames. Coffee was good. Recommended.

Exceptional Italian espresso expertly made by a well trained barrista. It was a full flavor coffee and we enjoyed it very much. Great staff, nice setting and a quaint terrace located right on the Bellair. Overall, the coffee and sandwich is worth a visit again, and would recommend to anyone.

I highly recommend this place! I went there on a Tuesday afternoon for a coffee. The staff was friendly and quick. I liked the photos on the wall. The coffee shop has a nice cozy vibe. We sat outside. There was a band playing live music on the street so we really enjoyed it. The coffee was delicious.

Cafe with racism staff - very uncomfortable experience with the old female Italian server behind the counter. If you are an Asian and chatting while waiting for your turn, the server will skip you and ask the white couple behind you to come up first. I was with my friends and the client ahead of us made a big order, so we stood there and waited like 5 minutes. We even chatted with that client in front of the server, so there is no way the server didn’t notice that three of us had been standing there for a while and there were only 3 groups of people in total in the line. Then literally right after the server finished the previous order, she turned to the white couple behind us and whispered to them “come” and started serving them. I asked her “excuse me, you didn’t see us came in before them”. She is like “you guys talking”. I was shocked, since when customers are not allowed to chat while waiting in the line?! I was chatting but I was paying attention to what’s going on. I saw her whisper to them and I was still wondering what she is doing. Also the white couple pretended they didn’t see us either and just went ahead. She didn’t even bother calling us at all before she called the next client. When I confronted her, she was like “what do you want?!” I said “nothing! I will not spend any money at a place like this” it’s just disgusting experience to go through on a Friday night out. What exactly makes you feel you are superior than other people? Race? Money? history? Then humble yourself and actually learn the foundation of your civilization which is Christianity.

Rudest bunch of staff. I always stopped here to get a cup of cappuccino, when in Yorkville, because I liked their coffee.this time it was a total different experience. just asked, if I, can quickly use the washroom before I get my coffee. I was blatantly told I can't use the washroom. While I saw other people using the washroom and asked why. The answer was they only allow who they feel like allowing. you either close the washroom for everyone and tell it is closed because of covid, which is completely understandable, or you keep it open for everyone. I still cannot understand if it was gender ,race, age what decided who can or cannot use their washroom. Never had such horrible experience from a coffee pickup.

Had a great visit at this cafe in Yorkville. My partner and I stopped in for a nice latte and a quick lunch. The service was quick, and they even brought the food to your table. We ordered a mocha which was absolutely delicious. It gets busy quick and seating is limited. Would come back again!

Really cozy and welcoming place! The staff was very friendly and the jazz music created such a great vibe for studying/having conversations with friends/enjoying the snowfalls. I do hope they could have wifi there, but even without the wifi, their iced latte was great and I will definitely come back again!

The chai tea latte is traaaaaash. They put a tea bag in a cup and throw hot milk in it. It's a disgrace to call this chai. It's far from it. Music choice is bad, too. You can't do work here while Avril Lavine is yelling, "I'm with yooooou" in your ears.

Some of their espresso-based drinks are a bit too strong for my personal liking; however, I can see how some would enjoy it. What I particularly like about this cafe is its curbside patio as it’s tastefully decorated with a really good ambience, especially on summer sunny days

Tried their coffee for the first time. I was recommended to order hot double cappuccino by the server. Surely it was refreshing and flavoured.

Last night I visited Coco Espresso Bar again and regret why I didn't write a review for it before. It has the best Latte in Toronto. Amazingly kind lady will prepare your order.

My mother and I love grabbing a not-so- quick coffee here. The coffee is always perfect, the music is great (Janis Joplin as I was typing this), and you have several seating options if you feel like sticking around for a bit.

This is one of the few places to get an authentic Italian espresso in town. There are others but this is the cheapest place for a doppio Americano that I've found. They do not take Amex. However, they do stay open until later which is apparently a rarity in Toronto nowadays. The baristas are actually Italian and I have conversed with them in my bad spoken Italian to verify this.

My favourite coffee shop in downtown Toronto. Open late everyday. I love their baked goods too! My favourite is the nonna lemon.

I was running around Yorkville looking for a chocolate. I needed the best I could find, so when I walked past Coco, I decided to get one after seeing their large display of pastries. I managed to get the last chocolate croissant they had. It was so flavorful and perfectly made. Imagine a nutella gnache filling combined with an airy, soft, and textured croissant. No wonder only one was left, it definitely seems to be a favorite!!

Their cannolis are perfect! Light, crispy and not too sweet! Filled with the a delicious cheese filling, not to mention the perfectly crispy cannoli shell. Holy Cannoli! I also highly recommend their Italian coffee. Great place for a quick coffee stop or coffee dates. :)

One of the most authentic Italian espresso bar experiences in the city. The coffee is excellent along with their pastries. The atmosphere is great whether you're stopping for a quick espresso at the bar or having a business meeting. Management and a large portion of the staff are from Italy making the experience just that little bit more traditional.

This is for the Gelato Shop next door which is fabulous. Got ourselves a treat and it was sensational. Small outdoor seating but we found a spot to enjoy our selected flavours. Young lady serving was friendly and delightful. We will be back.

My favorite cafe! The Yorkville location is convenient and the atmosphere is energetic but the downstairs location also gives it a cozy feel. Perfect for studying, meeting friends, or just picking up a quick coffee and snack. The tacchino sandwich is tasty (sometimes served with fresh basil grown at the cafe), all of the coffee is great, and the Italian desserts are authentic and delicious. The staff is friendly as well, and the prices are decent. Would definitely recommend.

A lovely coffee shop in the heart of Yorkville. The cafe was quiet and calm, I felt like I should revisit with a book. I would like pricing of the pastries to be clearer (hence I didn’t order anything - no pricing!) coffee was delicious!

So far, the best tasting coffee, cappuccino, during my visit to Toronto. Coffee tasted rich and tasty; definitely not bitter or burned at all. If I can describe it, it would be a slightly better version of Lavazza Crema e Gusto. We had a lovely variety of cookies that were absolutely delicious, without exceptions, and we tried 4 types of them. Literally, melting in my mouth as I endulged them. Main Host and crew were super friendly and made sure everyone was greeted, then served as fast as possible while offering suggestions for folks undecisive when ordering. An absolute hidden gem in the heart of Yorkville, Toronto's prime location, not to be missed by any chance.

Nice authentic Italian espresso bar. Friendly service and tasty food items. One of the best espresso locations in town. The baristas know what they are doing and they do it to perfection. If you want to enjoy the flavour of espresso without too much milk, order cortado. We tried several dessert items and they all were very good. Seating is not abundant, but we always find a table. They used to have open air seating during covid, but last time i visited in november 2022, it was removed, may be because it is winter time.

Cute little cafe in Yorkville with exceptional service☕️👌🏼Sandwich and coffee were delicious, only deductiong a star because it cost me $21 which I found slightly pricey… but then again, it is Yorkville🤷🏽‍♀️🤪

Such a warm welcome from the staff. They made a great recommendation, and were very kind. Seriously the best chocolate croissant I have ever had. Fresh, light and delicious! I’ll be back.

The espresso was over extracted, bitterness is overpower acidity, not balanced. Didn’t try the pastry, but looks good.

👍👍 Visited here a few years ago. And recently back to have breakfast again! It is a lovely space filled with nostalgia of old-school deli and restaurants.
