On top of the considerable entry fee the club had a brilliant policy of no card payments under $50. Don't worry though, there is an ATM! You'll just have to wait 10 minutes in a queue. The drinks were nothing to write home about. Prepare to pay $5 for having your coat hanged too. With regard to the dance floor, the club is just too crowded. The music is alright but generally the same thing; your typical club disco. What doesn't help are the pointless sofas and chairs placed in the middle of the room, as if they intentionally tried to make less space.

Cool spot. Came in early on chill Sunday to check it out. Will definitely need to come again at later time. But I enjoyed listening to the music.

Great sound system. Nice lights. Friendly staff. On a good day, the air conditioning is perfect. Ample space for dancing and big enough bar that you're not waiting for drinks. Frequently has 4am last calls. Music is usually house techno. Age is 19-35 I'd say. Always a good time for me here.

One of the worst clubs I’ve been to, nothing special and the washroom looks like it has never been cleaned once. You must spend over $50 to use a credit card or else they only accept cash. They do have an ATM to pull out cash if you need but it has a $5 surcharge to use. The one time I did use my card, the bartender pulled it from my hand and gave herself a 25% tip. Wont be going back

While the music was great and it wasn't too packed at least when we were there, the service was terrible. They won't give you tap water unless you look drunk and will be pretty rude about it unless you buy bottled water, which I'm pretty sure is illegal in Canada, so just look out of it and then they will give you tap water. But also the washrooms are terrible, it smelled like urine even at the beginning of the night and there is only one functioning sink (even though there are three sinks, looks like they took out the hardware at the other two and just put pots there) and so when someone threw up in the only sink, even though there was someone standing there giving towels and soap they didn't clean it up or do anything, not even help the person who looked really out of it and no one could wash their hands. I get that they probably have to deal with this stuff a lot but jeez. I'm glad we got in with free cover because this place definitely isn't worth spending money to get into. Looking at other reviews glad we didn't buy any drinks here and definitely agree that most of the bartenders who work here are super rude. I would come again with free cover if the music is good but definitely bringing hand sanitizer and making sure to drink lots of water beforehand.

Too crowded, waitress are rude until you buying 50$ of alcohol. They just keep ignoring you if you asking for only one drink. Free champagne but after 11:30 even if you have coupon. DJ wasn’t that good too, keep playing same songs and transitions between 2 songs so bad, for few minutes he gonn f*** your all mood.

Went on a Saturday night and the club was filled with creepy, pushy guys who didn't understand the word no. The bouncers were way too aggressive and one of my friends even got hurt from being manhandled. There is also a $50 minimum drink order if paying by credit or debit card. The music was pretty good, but the transition between songs and genres was bad. The only truly good thing about this club was the female bouncer who was patient and incredibly helpful.

I witnessed how one staff member grabbed a girl by her neck, throwing her to the ground shouting at her very offensive words and then this girls boyfriend tried to defend her tackling this guy the other staff members mobbed him. can't describe what an awful place this is. Staff members aren't capable of organizing a simple line to get in the club. Staff has to get physical with customers. The guy in the picture is the staff manager who did nothing but hide his crew and himself when cops arrived

My friend and I decided to come to Nest's Halloween event, which costed about $13 per ticket. After entering the club, we headed over to the bar where we ordered a mixed drink and shot each. The bartender poured our drinks and THEN decided to inform us that there was a $50 minimum to pay with a card (after we found out the drinks were non-refundable). We awkwardly stood there and waited for her to provide us with another option, but she didn't give us any. We reluctantly ordered a second round of what we had just gotten, after she had the audacity to suggest we pay the remaining $25 as a TIP for her. In shock, she takes my card and inserts it herself, and places an 15% "automatic gratuity" on our order. The total came to $80. I questioned it, of course, and she repeated that there was an auto-gratuity and the pineapple juice I ordered in my mixed drink costed extra (again, not informing us of this before we had ordered or paid). Upset, my friend and I walked away with our drinks and then were told by a man standing next to the bar that there was an ATM in the club - and if we had paid with cash, we wouldn't have had to hit the $50 minimum at all. Interesting how yet ANOTHER piece of information was left out of our reach. As if the situation couldn't get any worse, my friend went back to the bartender and confronted her about the situation and the bartender gave us back the gratuity fee, after admitting that she charges it because most people are "too drunk to notice it". This whole experience felt like a complete scam and was absolutely illegal. Our time at Nest ruined the rest of our Halloween. I am never coming back here, nor should anyone else that reads this review.

Came here with some friends last night to celebrate a birthday. We were groped and grabbed by several belligerent men all night and a group of girls next to us were literally being pulled to the ground by the forearms aggressively by random men. They started crying so we escorted them outside and reported it to the bouncer/security. They yelled at us to call the police and did absolutely nothing to mitigate the issue. Terrible experience. Security needs to step it up

I was very disappointed with the DJ playing the awful music. It was not fittting music for a nightclub. The drinks were ridiculously over priced for such a place. I would’ve bought way more drinks if the price was right. The club needs a power wash everywhere because bathroom was dirty and disgusting; I stepped on puke on the floor and almost slid. I brought it to the staff’s attention and it seemed like that’s perfectly normal to them. Instead of having the staff in the washroom to give you soap and paper towels. You guys should give her a mop to clean the bathroom. My first experience at the nest will surely be my last.

This place was terrible. The staff was rude and got into a fight outside with a guy that was waiting in line. We got inside and it was packed. A girl threw a bottle at my friends and it hit her head. We called security and they said that they couldn’t do anything, since they didn’t see it. This place is not safe at all and the security doesn’t do their job.

Did not have a good experience here. My friends and I visited this place at around 2am ish and we had specifically asked the man at the front if the club was still open, and he said yes. Apparently, that was not the case and the music stopped early. The floors are also very sticky so even dancing to the music was not the best experience. When they were closing, the staff was very aggressive while “asking” us to leave the club. Overall, did not have the best experience here and I would not visit again.

DO NOT COME HERE!!! Firstly, it was way too overcrowded, we had a group of girls and one guy and we couldn’t properly dance since we were more worried about breathing and getting crushed by the overcrowding. The ratio of men to woman was intimidating, the whole time we didn’t feel safe. The guys were aggressive, we had one guy grope our friend and kept coming back to us and another guy try to fight our smallest friend because she accidentally pushed him making her way too a spot with some space to dance. The crowd was not it. The music also wasn’t good, played some good songs for an hour and then it was terrible. We didn’t even try to bother getting drinks since it was ridiculously busy. The bouncers were also on some authority trip, they were threatening the wrong people, saw so many people cut in and then he would get upset at people for not standing in a straight line. We had two of our friends in the washroom and we told the bouncer and he said that was fine and they can join us later. When they came and tried joining us, he was telling them to go to the back of the line and saying he doesn’t care if they are with us and that they either leave or we all get kicked out of the line. Terrible experience and would never come back here again. Don’t waste your money, you won’t feel safe with the type of people there.

Honestly the vibes weren’t here. Great dj. Bottle service outfits are too much and tacky. Easy to get drinks from the bar. Bartenders are on point. Your better off going to <3 or toybox or vertigo. I hope to see a come back from this club. With venue and music as good foundations I’m sure this club can be the best place to party in Toronto; for right now it’s not.

Our night was ruined by the rude staff and the unsettling presence of customers who were violent. From the moment we arrived at the club, the staff were cold and unwelcoming. It seemed as though they had no interest in providing even basic customer service. They had sold way more tickets than the actual capacity of the space. The security and another customer got into a physical fight when we were waiting in the line to get in. One girl threw a bottle on someone's face and flipped a finger. The security coddled the violent customer because they had bought bottle service. I cannot recommend this club to anyone looking for a safe and enjoyable night out.

Music was good . But they are very inconsistent with pricing . I read the sign of price for shots which read 8$. I got 2 shots from one guy & he charged me 23$. He said u had to pay a minimum of 20$ on the machine so I was just like okay whatever. Then I bought 2 shots from a girl and said I had to buy 4 shots at once. She must of had to tip herself because she said we had to pay 66$.. that’s 16.50$ a shot. For crown which is crazy! I told her I’m not paying that ridiculous price and she said If you don’t pay for it then I’m calling security. So we ended up spending over 100$ for only a handful of shots. Horrible place to go

Had a Ok first time experience here.The staff were nice and friendly from the security guys, the event organizer, the waitress, bartenders. The only “disappointing” thing was the Dj/music. The music should definitely improve to make people dance not to kill the mood.

Drinks are expensive - $8 for a rail shot. If you're female, don't forget to ask for your free champagne bottle on Saturdays if you have to go here! One bartender refused to give us a glass of water, dating he only sells bottles at that time of night, but the bartender on the other side face it to us no problem after going to her. No credit card payments under $50, which is crazy, it's like they don't want people to spend money... Small venue that was only saved at certain parts sure to the fans. Middle is full of booths that take up half the area to dance. Music was ok at the beginning of the night then weird, slow, repetitive, and bad transitions for most of the rest of the night (2/3 of the time). 4 or 5 toilet stalls for females, 2 sinks. $4 coat check and they try to give you only $5 back! Why??? That's just wrong. Won't be going back.

I had a disappointing experience at Nest Club recently. The security guard at the entrance was shockingly rude and unprofessional. The club's crowd management left a lot to be desired, with overcrowding and a lack of organization. To make matters worse, they actually asked me for extra money just to get in, which felt like a blatant money-grab. The most concerning part of the night was witnessing an unjustified physical altercation inside the club. It was so severe that it prompted the need to call 911. This level of violence is unacceptable and raises serious safety concerns. I would strongly caution anyone considering a visit to Nest Club to think twice and be aware of these issues.

Such an unorganised place, last night they made people wait in coat check queue for 20 mins to drop the coat where it shall be responsibly taken care off and returned. Upon return of token they had lost my coat and top of it staff was rude. So please take care of your belongings cause they will lose it.

It was my first time there and I'm not going back. The attitude from the female security outside the club is INSANE. She was so rude for no reason. Ruined our mood before we even get inside the club. It's so crowded and hot inside and it's CASH ONLY. It wasn't worth it at all.

My favourite nightclub in Toronto. Music is always good, crowd is usually cool, and bartenders are really nice. Make sure you have cash on hand before going.

Went for the Halloween event which we paid for but it was not worth it at all. The music was very boring, just hip hop and RnB. The drinks are so expensive and if you planning to tap then you are charged 50$ which is outrageous. They have an atm there which charges you 3.25 as charges.They don’t serve cocktails or any good drinks. The waitress was very friendly with us (The only good server). The most rude part was when we were leaving at around 1am (since we wanted to grab food and they don’t serve food 🤷‍♂️) the bouncers kept telling us once you leave you can’t come back, which is fine and we said we wanted to leave. But as we went down they started saying things like once ur out I better not see you in, and go home and go sit in the train station. That was very rude to behave to customers who paid to go into that bar and no customer should be treated that way. The management should look into this seriously. Overall experience wasn’t that great. It was over crowded which is fine but I would rather go to a place where they treat people with more care and respect. The one star is for the waitress who was patiently taking our orders.

So I was having a rough time as my wife left with the kids, and work was tough. I had been spending each night miserable at home until this past weekend I decided to check out Nest. That’s when I found the Barcode Saturdays events, and I have to say, WOW!!! Bottle service was incredible, music was great, and the overall environment was just upbeat and made me feel good again! bless this place!!!! Definitely coming back for another round of party.

Almost waited 2 hrs in the line. The bouncers seems real a-holes. They let in the people they know when everyone wants in the line for hours. Never again to this $#!t hole

We booked a booth, took forever to get in and then our group of 8 got the smallest table with 1 stool. Security was pretty rude for no reason at all. Music was a variety of hip hop and soca, but every other song was drake.

Waiting for the day Mark Sixma returns. One of my favorite venues to be honest. Just wish the website was updated. The domain is no longer active which makes finding events harder.

I never visited a Place with this kind of unfriendly staff. They acting like they own the street and the security is just screaming around for no reason. Really disappointing

The drinks were phenomenal. Super delicious but a little overpriced. We went on trap night so if you’re looking to dance this was an ok place to go to. We told the DJ multiple times is he could play a Spanish song (Bad Bunny) at least once but he never did 🤷🏽‍♀️. Aside from that they have a really nice decorated wall in the bathroom so if you wanna take selfies this is the place to do so.

Tbh I’ve been to this club a couple of times and I have to say the customer service is beyond terrible which is why I don’t think I could ever come back :( They never ever reply to dms but see them almost immediately, and if they do reply they are absolutely useless. If you want a stress free event don’t bother with Nest, youre better off staying home.

First of all, they dont have a food menu. Second, what a poor drinks menu. Third, the female bartenders are very very rude and unprofessional, they try to give you incorrect change, and when you try to reason they scream like as if they were crazy. Well i got my change eitherway. The club is so small and admits more people than it can accomodate. NEST is just a fixed place to entertain international student. I have never seen such a pathetic club and staff in India too.

One of the worst nightlife spots in Toronto. Be prepared to spend $50 for a drink because that’s what this bar will charge you for minimum spend if you use your credit card. One of the bartenders that work here will try to sneak in extra tip for herself on the machine.

Best venue for Dubstep and Drum n Bass shows. Not a massive fan of the new raised platform in front of the stage, but like the additional seating

Was there for Halloween, trash establishment all around, unprofessional security and bartenders just trying to rip everyone off. The place was oversold and bouncer were asking people in line to pay extra on top of the tickets they already bought for the event to get in. Every bouncer has an ego problem, I witness someone claiming he was the owner try to choke a girl out as they were talking, mind you the girl was maybe 5’1 and this guy was like 6’3. Anyways don’t go to this club if you want to have a good time or care remotely about your safety. Picture is of the man who was choking the woman.
