Ordered Eggs Benny, loved the portion size for breakfast. And even better, not just salads, but also fruits on the plate. Made the plate look very colourful. The cream was bit sour for my taste. Didn’t expect any service in a food court, but we received good service. I felt may be it is priced a $ more than what I would have expected food court shops to be. Overall, loved it.

WARNING ⚠: ALL 5 STAR RATINGS FOR THIS RESTAURANT ARE FAKE! DO NOT FALL FOR IT! Has anyone been served pineapple 🍍 as shown in pics uploaded? 🤔 🤣 I was stunned just by seeing the breakfast plate that costed me $20.00 plus taxes 😂 Included pineapple pieces with the skin 🤮, Some pieces of grass, a couple of eggs, a piece of orange, and a piece of watermelon 😂😂 Please go to eggsmart which is nearby and is the best based on price, service, and quality of food. Or there are other food places inside the building, go to McDonald's that sits next to it instead. 😉 Don't fall for this scam!! All reviews are bought ones!! Wish there was negative ratings I could pick!!

Karine was a breath of fresh air. I was overjoyed when our very small conversation let me know she is also lebanese. While i know my lebanese dishes, she definitely has her twist on them. Super vegan and vegetarian friendly which was surprisingly hard in Toronto. We got plenty of food for two and was less than 45 CAD (you think that is much, wait to see the rest of Toronto) so it was by all means affordable for a premium breakfast in GTA. I rated the atmosphere 4 stars ONLY because i think that place deserves its own little place in the middle of downtown and not in a small mall. Loved it. Would come back more and more. Service was also great and fast.

What a lovely business! Don’t be fooled that this restaurant is located in a food court. The food is delicious and the service is impeccable. This was the perfect spot for my family to eat at. The owner was so lovely with my son, and super accommodating to my food allergy. I’m plant based, but the rest of my family isn’t. Finding a place that we all enjoy can be so hard. This spot is amazing. We’ll be back next time we’re in Toronto. Thank you for the lovely gingerbread cookie for my son. He absolutely loved it.

I LOVE having fruit with breakfast! Karine's is a cult favorite. While the food isnt cheap, its definitely delicious and worth the price. It thought it could use some polishing on certain parts (overcooked and dry pancakes, burnt bacons, food not hot) but overall its a good experience. Needs its own space rather than being inside a food court if you ask me

I came in from out of town and was welcomed like I have been here a million times. The woman who took my order was kind and patient offering me a friendly smile. She made me laugh and the food was amazing. I got French toast and a lemon square. I don’t like French toast from restaurants but this was amazing. I can not recommend this place enough. 10/10 if I could give more stars I would.

The food was good, although the bennedict sauce was too sour for me. I enjoyed that I had not only a salad accompanying the eggs but also some fruit. I didn't expect it wasn't a separate diner/restaurant but a food court experience. Nevertheless, good service👍

Amazing gluten free breakfast spot. This is inside of a small food court so if you are looking to a fancy breakfast out, this wouldn’t be for you. The staff is so kind and educated and everything can be made gluten free. Great for celiacs. The breakfast is amazing. 10/10

SHOWSTOPPING. LIFE-CHANGING. EYE-OPENING. Amazing brunch. Karine really made us feel at home and took care of us well. The food was great and there is so much selection. Very reasonably priced, loads of veggie and vegan options. Would definitely recommend!

Ordered the all day breakfast. Let me tell you everything was fresh and delicious. A heaping plate of perfectly prepared fresh food! I can’t remember when I had such an amazing breakfast… except maybe big family brunches made at home. Just astounding for an out of the way downtown food court ! Well worth the visit!

I had - Mini Karine's Supreme - Orange Juice For $18. You can choose between waffle and pancake. And for the meet, bacon or sausage. Good for the price. It's located in a small food court. So don't be surprised if you don't see it on the street view. Staff are kind and professional, 10 oit pf 10. Good experience. I may check them again

Such a great place! Me and my friends reserved a table the day before going and they made sure to put a tablecloth and some fake roses for decoration. Everyone was so nice and the owner (I think) even speak French. She was so kind and lovely. The food was great. Lots of choices and wide range of price. The omelette and the fries were delicious, and I loved the fact that they put fruits with almost everything. Big portions as you can see in the picture. They also have a large selection of vegan food (although they use plastic cups and cutlery’s). Anyway, do not hesitate to go. Me and my friends will definitely come back!

Such a delicious spread of vegan food! It can be difficult to find a nice full breakfast meal that is 100% vegan. Not to mention the bright and warm spirits of the staff contributing to an all around lovely experience.

This is the best meal I’ve ever had in a food court and somehow makes you forget you’re in one with K’s sparkling personality and extra touches like sliced strawberry in the water. She made sure everything was gluten free, including the delicious French toast! The side of fruits were divine, fresh and the chicken leg was crisp to perfection. I cannot describe enough how wonderful this place is. The menu can be made totally vegan or gluten free! What a joy.

Best Eggs Benedict I have ever had. I never review anything but felt this was worth reviewing. Just down the street from US Consulate and inside a food court. Same quality every day I was there.

Tried the vegan tofu Benny and vegan waffles with banana with a side of fresh orange and pineapple juice. We had no expectations going into this, all we know was that it’s in an old food court. The owner is super nice. Both dishes were fresh served with fruits. I liked both dishes and would have them again, however the waffles were the best. The waffles were fluffy and super soft. I would go back to try more things from the menu!

I really like the waffles, they are very chewy. The garlic fries are fun to try, not on the crispy side but still tasty. Fruits served are all quite sweet. We ordered the waffles with chocolate and banana topping, and Karine’s supreme.

This place was amazing! 😊 The best, most friendly service and a hardy, wholesome breakfast. Fruit is cut fresh (no preservatives!), and portions are big and price is very reasonable. Lots of vegan options too! Would come back again! ❤️

I wish I could give this place 10/5 stars, because the service really was just that good. The women who took our order (who I believe is the owner) was so sweet, kind, and charasmatic. The service was amazing. My friend and I had the eggs benedict, it tasted delicious and was served beautifully with a decorative flower and an assortment of fruits. This would be my first choice for brunch the next time I am in downtown Toronto.

Smoked salmon eggs benedict was delicious and the fruits on the side are sweet. I wish you would open earlier than 9:00 so i can get food before going to work in the morning.

Was extremely disappointed in the food and will not order again. Ordered for the first time for brunch - I got a vegan waffle and my partner got salmon Benedict. His salad wasn’t washed and had no dressing. Salmon didn’t taste fresh. Toast was bland. The waffle I got was extremely soft like bread and didn’t taste fresh. They put handfuls of big chocolate chips on top which wasn’t pleasant to eat at all. The waffle had absolutely zero flavour.

Food was okay, not over the top amazing but decent. But the service?! It was hands down warm and fuzzy. We really loved how sweet the owner was and how she interacted with us. Great place for a quick breakfast. Large portions.

Came here think this should be good because of the pictures…. Only the fruits were good… The food was mid and the French toast wasn’t even French… it was toast and egg fried onto it. No flavour at all and the salmon was very salty. So along with the other reviews I think those 5 star review’s are fraudulent cause the food here is anything but life changing

  • 5/5 Jaimie M. 2 years ago on Google

It is so tough to find gluten free breakfast while traveling. Let alone good gluten free breakfast. Karine's was amazing. Completely gluten free, delicious, and great portions. I can't wait to come back to Toronto so I can eat here again!

Karine's carried a tone of familiarity, of home. No wonder people love this place - and I for one adore this place. You are getting a good amount of food with quality with reasonable pricing. Its nestled in the food court but she makes you feel like you're dining in a restaurant. If you're looking to start your day off right, then this needs to be your first stop!

We found this place by their reviews but when we realized it’s in a food court, we became a little skeptical and thought this will either be a hidden gem or a disaster. Happy to say the food was fantastic! Homemade. I ordered a crepe and my partner had a salmon omelette with garlic fries. The fruits were so ripe and fresh too! The team was sweet and accommodating. Thank you for a great experience ❤️

Amazing food for fair prices. This place has such charm. The owner is so sweet, and really goes above and beyond for her guests. I’ve been here several times and it has never disappointed. 10/10⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Karine’s breakfast and peanut butter smoothie are to die for.

Beware of the 5 star reviews!!! My boyfriend who normally licks his plate clean could not even eat half of his plate :( Let me tell you a story of our experience. We saw all the 5 star reviews so we were super excited to come here for brunch. When we came in the owner was super sweet and rly nice so we knew that this was going to be a great place… We were so wrong. When we were given the food it looked good at first glance but then eating it… it was so bad. Everything about it, it seemed as though she went to a cheap grocery store bought the ingredients in bulk and gave it to her son to throw together. Here is a -short- list of things that were bad - The french toast was soggy, bread was old and the taste was really bland - The fruits were close to being rotten - The portion for $55 for two small plates, is overpriced. - I substituted the sausage and bacon for salmon and they gave me one slice of salmon - Fries were stale and burnt (double fried) The pink lemonade was rly yummy but that was the only thing I liked. Pls don’t go here it’s actually a real scam, I didn’t even know you could buy fake reviews 😭

Enjoyed a delicious breakfast here! So many vegetarian and vegan options. Their fresh juice is delicious too. You get so much food for a great price. Plus the people who work there are so lovely! Definitely recommend

Don't be fooled by the enormous menu and off-beat decor, their hearty and delicious food is only outdone by their charming candor. I had the feta spinach omelette with salad and toast, and to my pleasant surprise it also came with fresh fruit! Perfect fuel for a romp around downtown. Will definitely be back.

Giving 5 stars because the owner and workers are kind, hard-working people that remember your name. They're also killing it with the limited resources they have in the Grange Food Court. For personability and effort, they get a 10/10. I personally wasn't a huge fan of the food I ordered. I will come back to try something else next time and adjust my review. For now, I'll run-down on what I had. I sat in and ordered the 'All Day Every Day Breakfast'. I chose to have it with a sunny-side-up egg, sausages, and garlic fries. Eggs were cooked perfectly and were just the right amount. There were two fat sausages that were halved and pan fried- they were delicious. The toast was toasted perfectly, but did not have nearly enough margarine. The garlic fries were a type of fries that I don't personally enjoy, but you might! They were light and crunchy: however, they arrived cold. The fruits on the side were okay overall, with the pineapple being the best (to me). I would personally rate my food experience a 7.5/10. I paid around 14.95 for it (pre-tip). I would say the food was worth the price. When I come back, I will probably try the pancakes or waffles. I can also see that the mixed drinks look lovely, so I will probably try those too. Thank you Karine for having a lovely team. Your positivity and kindness are magnetic! I will definitely come back to try more of your stuff!

My partner and I wanted to try a new brunch place and found Karine's! The staff are so lovely and the food was pretty and yummy. There are also vegan options which is great! Just know it is a food store front in the food court so it's not truly "dine in".

  • 5/5 IronMarbles (. 1 year ago on Google
Wow. What a hidden gem. Immediately greeted with such kindness and energy, I wish she was my grandmother! Food came out quickly. So much fresh fruit. Price is affordable and fantastic for the amount of food you get. Alot of the low star reviews are about atmosphere; this place is in the food court so for large parties, this might not be the best option. I had the smoked salmon Benedict which was pretty good; if you wanna get nitty gritty, the hollandaise was okay and salmon could be better but overall for the price it's worth a try. My SO had the breakfast platter, both plates came with 4-6 different types of fruit. Garlic fries were good! As the first paragraph mentioned, this place is in the food court so depending on what time of day you go, might be busy and loud. Large parties beware. But that is my only bad note. Overall, the sweet lady running the shop, the variety of fruit/veggies and price makes this a 5 for me. Would absolutely come back. One of the plates in the picture was about ~$8 USD. Wow

Across from the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) a little gem of a place where Karine herself greets her customers with the same grace as 20 years ago. Love the vegan options.

Came here with a group for brunch on our last day in the city after hearing all of the good reviews, and we were not disappointed! It's a charming, family-run restaurant tucked away within a food court, making it an absolute hidden gem. Service was friendly and welcoming. The staff went above and beyond to give us a great dining experience. The food was the highlight, well-portioned with a fresh taste and a nice presentation. The menu is extensive; there are a variety of choices, including vegan and vegetarian options, which is often hard to find and is what makes this the perfect place to accommodate different dietary restrictions and diverse array of pallets. Hope to return the next time we are in the city!

  • 5/5 Arjun R. 1 year ago on Google
Karine's is located in an unassuming food court off McCaul st. The ambiance isn't fancy, but the food and service are spectacular. I got the vegan Supreme with pancakes and tofu. The pancakes were fluffy, the tofu was well seasoned and tasty, the fries were crispy and the fruits were fresh. The price was a little on the expensive side, but for what you get (quantity and quality) I think it's worth it, especially when you consider it's a local business and not a chain. With inflation and the price of everything in Toronto, the value was good. Service is A+! This will be my regular brunch spot.
