Very grungy, run down and frequented by drug users and prostitutes. Not a great atmosphere. The owner has been creating fake reviews on this page to boost his star rating. Please be aware of this. How this place has not been shut down by either Toronto Public Health or the Fire Dept. Is simply incredible. Avoid this establishment at all costs.

I'm giving this place 5 stars, not because it's a 5 star hotel, but because when you compare it to a homeless shelter like Seaton House, this hotel looks a lot better. If you're a normal person, visiting the city, DON'T STAY HERE, this is not the place for you. This hotel is for the homeless, escorts & drug addicts. It's not meant for tourists or anyone who owns or rents a place to live. This is for people who are in dire situations in life & would rather pay a cheap price for a private room & a warm bed, instead of going to a homeless shelter

I went there a while ago... To be absolutely honest, the service was HORRIBLE.... There was a big stain and hair on my towel, the room was freezing cold, and the reception guy knew almost no English.. And in the morning when I told him I was freezing last night, he started raising his voice and making unintelligible statements. Stay away if you don't wanna waste money

Firstly what can be said about a "hotel" , and i use that term very loosely , that also rents rooms by the hour? Don't be fooled this is NOT a hotel. it is a hostel and a very shoddy one at that. For one the rooms are tiny , with a large pillar on one side of the bed and a wall on the other making it quite difficult to get in and out of bed.The walls were covered in dirt , stains and were chipped everywhere . Even the ceiling. No coffee machine , no appliances .Nothing. The hotel manager , Mr. Richard , the owners son , is rude un-accommodating and over all not very professional . In all my time i have never had to give a deposit when staying at a so called "Hotel" nor have i been deliberately had my room access code changed . This IS the worst experience i have had with a hotel in my life. I would not recommend this to ANYONE. Keep looking guys , there a better places in Toronto than this crap hole.

Im currently homeless due to ongoing issues with addictions. That being said this place is just what you need to get a night's rest I'm a warm comfy bed, and a shower in the morning. The owner charged me 60$ a night so I decided to stay for 5. (5x60=250$) deposit was 80$. I figured the cost to be around 330$-350$ bucks however to my surprise he only charged me 300$ and gave me my 80$ deposit back. So it may be somewhat rundown and low quality rooms... But it sure beats a shelter or the streets.

Looks totally doggy from the front and really have no idea how to book a room, was visiting a friend myself. But the rooms were large very clean had small fridge, TV I think and overall very nice. Would recommend trying out if looking for a discount spot. Also it’s in one of the best neighbourhood in T. O

Both my husband and I where home less and didn't have a place to be alone as the shelters are made for couples to fight and not to get along ,so we found this little quaint hotel on college st and we this covid hit we stayed there for 35 day mind you it was a little pricey but at least wr where alone and there was t.v.

Room was decent. Prices are affordable and Mr. Jun himself is a very nice man. I would go there again and recommend to my friends

I just witnessed the Husband/Manager get into a very heated argument with his wife, I heard what sounded like a fight between two female residents. After several minutes of this going on me and my little sister decided to go take a look at what was happening. We walked into the main hallway to see the husband punching his wife in the back of the head he then tried to push her down the staircase, luckily she was able to grab the railing preventing her from falling, the husband then started to Spartan kick her in the chest trying to make her go down the stairs. I believe that if me and my little sister didn't go check out what the commission was about he would have successfully thrown her down the stairs. We went back into our room after the wife left. Several minutes later we heard the arguing start up again, once again me and my little sister leave our room to try and prevent any further conflict, as we turned the corner he tried to throw a glass mug at her, luckily she dodged it and as the manager noticed us he immediately stopped the assault. As this conflict was coming to an end, a gentleman walked into the JunJun hotel looking for a room. the manager was in his office cleaning up the broken glass and refused to acknowledge his presence. I then told him about what I just encountered and referred him to the Central Hotel which is just 10 minutes away. Do not support this abusive c***'s buisness. The rooms are also very very dirty with tiles missing and multiple fixed holes on every wall (sadly they have not painted over the plaster or even made it mesh with the surrounding wall) the manager also refused to give us another towel, saying that the two we had was plenty.. The lack of professionality and care in this hotel is unreal. Gordon Ramsay wouldn't even try to fix this rats nest.

I wouldn't even give this place 1 star. Stayed for 5 nights after noticing bite marks on myself and my boyfriends body we looked around the bed & found bed bugs & a cockroach in the bathroom. We took pictures and trapped the critters in a cup. We called managment "mr.jun" requesting him to come to the room and we would like to speak with him. We showed him hard evidence. We had pictures and the actual freaking bed bug and cockroach in a cup. He asked us what we would like to do. We asked for a full refund for the nights we had stayed. Him and his wife started yelling at us it got really heated and he just blaitinly kicked us out without refunding us for the nights we stayed. Also tried to ask for our respites back after he took them. This place is nasty. Would reccomend anywhere except jun jun.
